WWE Monday Night Raw 2/28/11…The Rock Replies?

I was watching The Academy Awards, through Twitter last night and read The Rock had a response for John Cena on Raw.  So my question is will he return tonight in Buffalo, or will he just tweet his thoughts during Raw?  On;y one way to find out and that is to watch this show with me.  We’ll also hear from HHH and why he wants to beat the Streak against The Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

Here we go.

Josh Matthews welcomes us to the show, and so does The King of Kings, HHH.

It’s just Jerry “The King” Lawler and Josh Matthews, no Michael Cole, at least not yet.

Crowd is showing appreciation for HHH, and he answers back.  They say a true test of a man’s medal is a true test of time.  He has done everything in the WWE.  13 times WWE Champion.  He started DX with Shawn Michaels, with Ric Flair, Evolution.  He’s been hated, he’s been loved.  He has defeated Legends, Icons, Immortals, he has done it all.  16 years, it seems like yesterday.  For 16 years, he has outlasted everyone, except for one.  The Deadman, The Phenom, The Undertaker.  He is known as “The Last Outlaw”, not yet….there were two.  They have alot in common, when you look at the locker room, there are no challenges.  There are no tests, and there is one thing to stand before you.  For Taker, it’s the streak, the one thing that keeps him going.  But the truth is HHH is the true challenge Taker has, and the true challenge HHH has is beating the streak.  It will happen at Wrestlemania 27.  The biggest event in history.  Deadman, you and I will define an era.  The last two will meet, and on that night, nothing else will matter.  There can be only one.  At Wrestlemania, you only have one left, the streak.  When it dies, you die.  At Wrestlemania, HHH has only one thing left, the streak, and if he can’t end it, he’ll die trying.

Here comes Sheamus with a smile on his face.  Yup, he’s not wearing the cape, it puts a smile on everyone’s face.

Sheamus enters, and HHH destroys him.  What a great way to say you’re not in my league.

There goes the announce table.  I smell a Pedigree.

And there it is, Sheamus is laid out.

Tonight, HBK returns, and he speaks out about the upcoming encounter.  We’ll also hear from Michael Cole and his answer to Jerry “The King” Lawler.  And by satellite, The Rock invites WWE to his home, and I guess he will respond to what John Cena had to say last week, but the mic is cut and we go to commercial.

Moments ago, we see what we just saw.  Sheamus getting his ass whooped.

Referees are helping Sheamus to his feet right now, and we hear from….

The Raw GM.

King answers to the reply.

Sheamus still has a match, and it will be against Evan Bourne.

Welcome back Evan.

Evan wins in easy fashion with his signature move, Air Bourne.  Great to see Evan back.

Justin Roberts is now announcing Michael Cole as the “Voice of WWE”.

And here comes Cole.

Cole is speaking, but there is no mic.  He will answer King’s challenge coming up next.

The “Last Outlaw” The Undertaker returns to Smackdown this Friday, and there will be a contract signing between Alberto Del Rio and Edge.  Smackdown will be in Cleveland this week.

We come back with Michael Cole.  He calls out Lawler to get into the ring again.  He wants to remind King that if he strikes him, he will be fired.  Cole asks King if he thought he intimidated him, that he was going to cower down from his Wrestlemania challenge.  There is nobody on this earth that has more guts than Michael Cole.  So his answer to his Wrestlemania challenge is no.

Unless he accepts his 2 stipulations.  1.  His trainer is at his ringside, and 2.  There is a special guest ref.

Jerry doesn’t care about the stipulations, the challenge is on.

Cole celebrates like he won a World Series.  So now he would like to introduce the man who will train him, a former World Champion, The All American-American Jack Swagger.

So, instead of pushing Swagger, a young and up and comer, they have him in a pointless feud?

Swagger goes face to face with King, and Cole eggs him on, even slaps him with King going after Cole, but Swagger catching him with an Ankle Lock.

Cole is a natural heel here.  No special guest ref being announced yet here.

Still to come, The Rock speaks and Randy Orton is up next, will he answer to CM Punk’s challenge?

Next week, the return to Stone Cold Steve Austin.

And of course, Raw just got worst by having Michael Cole come back to the broadcast.

Here comes Randy Orton.

Orton has the mic, let’s not have any Wrestling matches tonight.

Orton said that Punk was right, he made the biggest mistake of his career 2 and a half years ago, he should have kicked you harder.  Punk will be changed forever, the only thing that Punk will have left after Orton kicks him again is the faith that lived to fail.

Here comes Punk.

You arrogant, yet predictable hypocrite.  Punk knew Orton would show up, and while Orton wants to put Punk in a rehab facility, Punk wants to put Orton through a ground.

Email sound…

It’s official, Punk Vs Orton at Wrestlemania.  Orton will face off against every member of NEXUS the coming week, if they beat Randy, they can accompany Punk to the ring at Mania, but if Randy wins, NEXUS will be banned at Mania.

Orton Vs McGillicutty is up now.

Well McGillicutty’s Wrestlemania dream is gone.  Orton gave him a RKO and the match is done.  Wow, this match had so much “intrigue” and yes, I am being sarcastic.

Punk looks on the ramp, and Orton is setting up for a punt.

Punk wants Orton to stop.  Doesn’t work, he punts Michael.

So, Cena destroyed NEXUS, now it’s Orton’s turn?

Now we see footage of WWE signing the artist formerly called Mistico, now called Sin Cara.

The Miz is coming out next.

Here comes the WWE champion, The Miz.

So The Rock is going to respond to John Cena tonight?  That’s funny, Miz called out The Rock last week too, but we all know why.  He knows that The Miz is right.  This is no longer The Rock’s show.  Sure, at one time this was The Rock’s show, and at one time, this was John Cena’s show, but John’s time is about done, and The Rock has been done for years.  The Miz is the real star tonight.  He is what talk shows want, he is the real face of Raw, and he is the Must-See champion in history.  Is there a trend?  It’s all about The Miz, it always has, and always will be.

Speaking of The Miz, people want to know what is up with the Tag Team Titles.  Let the record show, The Miz won them, and Cena lost them.  So while John Cena is worrying about his raps, he should be worried about The Miz.  But if The Rock and Cena want to have their feud, so be it, but at Wrestlemania, The Miz will beat John Cena, and on the same night, he will beat The Rock.  Did you hear him?  At Wrestlemania, The Miz will defeat John Cena and The Rock on the same night.  Then people will only talk about The Miz.

Alex Riley wants the fans to stand up and show some respect for The Miz.

And here comes John Cena, with some jokes.

Cena said he has had enough, and quite frankly, The Miz is not well.  He has a doctor’s note, The Miz has an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.  The Miz is obsessed with being awesome, but he’s actually average, below average actually.  In reality, The Miz has 200 Cats at home, he keeps the poop bags.  Wow, this is utter crap.

Riley now knows why they called toilet bowls Johns, because everything John says is full of crap.

Cena asks The Miz if he realizes that nobody takes him seriously is because of guys like Riley.  You want to build a legacy, you have to do it yourself.  Does he want to evolve a legacy by sharing it with another man?  Okay scratch that, how about this, fire Alex Riley so that The Miz can face Cena one on one at Wrestlemania.

Miz asks if Cena is scared of Riley?  Unlike Cena, Miz is mentoring the young wrestlers of today, instead of hawking merchandise and trying to decide what shorts to wear.

Cena said, okay how about this, he keeps Riley, they can share an apartment together, watch The Notebook, or watch reruns of The Bachelor.

Okay, Cena wants a match with Riley tonight, if Cena wins, Riley is fired.  How about it?

Miz accepts.

On one condition, Miz gives him his word he won’t interfere, but if Alex wins, he wants Cena to publicly admit that he is The Miz, and he is AWESOME!!!

Cena accepts the deal, but the Raw GM has something to say.

To ensure there is no outside interference, Cena Vs Riley will take place inside a steel cage.  The only way to win the match is to escape the cage.

Later tonight, The Rock answers Cena.

Still to come, we hear from HBK.

Eve is in commentary and we have a Diva’s Battle Royal.

One of the Bella Twins are out, Alicia Fox, Tamina.

Melina and Natalya are out too.

Final 3 are Maryse, Gail Kim, and one of the other Bella Twins.

Maryse is eliminated.

Gail Kim throws out the other Bella Twin, but the other one sneaks in and eliminates Gail Kim.

Eve has had enough, she goes over one of them, and the other one comes in and nails her.

Wow, this was pointless.

We get a recap of The Rock and John Cena’s feud, now we will hear from The Great One himself.

We go live to hear from The Rock, he is dressed in a John Cena hat and says “You can’t see me”

Now it’s time to take this crap off.  Finally, The Rock has come back to Monday Night Raw.  He is the champion of the People.  Finally, The Rock has come back to Buffalo.

It’s that electricity that you can cut with a knife, that has every woman to say she wants a piece of The Rock.  It makes every man who stands up and says, come on Rock, let’s kick some candy ass.

Now he knows he has the attention of John Cena.

So let’s get this straight, The Rock comes back to Raw and he said exactly how he felt about Cena, he said he spoke to him man to man, and what is Cena’s response?  He raps to him?  He addresses The Rock in a form of a rap?  Of course he did, that is how a guy in a purple T-shirt, jean shorts, and a dog tag responds.  Yeah!!  Yeah!!  Rock thought it was funny.

Let’s rewind everyone and talk about how this got started.  Cena ripped Rock’s response about how he loves the people, he got on public airwaves and ripped on The Rock’s character, well you just ripped on The Rock’s family.  He was born in the WWE.  His grandfather, “High Cheif” Peter Maivia was in the WWE.  His father, “Soulman” Rocky Johnson was in the WWE.  Both are WWE Hall of Famers.  He was in the WWE, he had his title collection that represents WWE.  Rock achieved his goals, and he wanted more, so he’s not allowed to do that?  And he opened the door to the WWE when he went to Hollywood.  He opened the door to John Cena, for him and WWE.  And what does he do?  He publicly insults The People’s Champion.  Now there are consequences that will take place, he opened the door for a beating of a life time from The Trail Blazing, Pie Eating, Jabroni Beating.  Cena, you say what you want, but The Rock will beat you all the way from here all the way to Buffalo.

The Rock is hosting Wrestlemania, but more importantly, he’ll be addressing you sooner than you think.  The People’s Spirit is everywhere, and it’s that spirit that can electrify the people at Buffalo, just like that.

Lights are turned off,

Buffalo, get ready, cause in a few seconds right now, you will feel the electricity, because when The Rock addresses Cena, the millions, and millions will bring it to Wrestlemania, they will bring it to the world.  John Cena, The Rock is no rapper, and clearly, neither are you, but open your lids and shut your mouth and listen to The Rock, who has a special gift from The People’s Champ to you.

The Rock is back, to scratch a major itch, so enjoy your Fruity Pebbles, you Yabba Dabba Bitch.

The Rock addresses you like a man, and in these eyes you will be looking at that exact moment, you will smell what The Rock is cooking.

Wow, business has just picked up.

Still to come, a steel cage match between The Fruity Pebbles man himself, John Cena Vs Alex Riley.

Coming up next, HBK sounds off on Undertaker Vs HHH.

HHH will take on Undertaker at Wrestlemania, one man knows them both, HBK.  What are his thoughts?

When he found out there was the match, he said he was happy that HHH will get that opportunity to beat the streak, but then he is also disappointed he couldn’t get the job done.  He surely has history with both of them.  It’s a huge mountain to climb to face Taker at Mania.  And facing HHH can be aggressive.  He doesn’t think he has ever seen a hint of compassion, yet he is one of his best friends in the business.  That is the reason he has a chance to beat the streak.  Words can’t describe.  Who is he rooting for?  Obviously, he is rooting for HHH but he can honestly say he doesn’t know how he is going to feel if, and when he beats that streak.

Here comes Daniel Bryan for a match.

I guess not, The Miz attacks him.

He gives Bryan a Skull Crushing Finale on the floor.

The Miz now has a mic, he said he did it because he can.  Welcome to The Miz Show, he is done waiting, bring down the cage, and start the match.

Main event is coming up next.

John Cena wins by escaping into the steel cage, and The Miz answered it with a Skull Crushing Finale.  We saw some live tweeting though by both Cena and The Miz, which is funny, but Alex Riley is fired, and he is relegated to jobbing duties very shortly.  The Miz stands tall though at the ramp, ending the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Well, I’ll be blunt, this show wasn’t good.  It clearly is not a showcase of the younger talent, except for The Miz.  Sheamus looked awful, Jack Swagger went from winning Money in the Bank at last year’s Wrestlemania, to training Michael Cole for his Wrestlemania match.  Not a good upgrade.  However here is the good things.

We finally get an explanation from HHH, and it was good to hear from him again.  He made it clear that this might be his last dance because he has nothing left to go after, except one thing.  But then, Sheamus comes out and gets absolutely destroyed, not just by Hunter, but by, and here is another good thing.

The return of Evan Bourne.  Evan looked very good, but you have to wonder how long will his stop and start push last this time?

Another good thing was finally hearing The Miz speak out to John Cena and talk about how Cena doesn’t help out the younger wrestlers, like he does.  I’ll never forget Cena told Ted Dibiase, Cody Rhodes, and The Miz how they aren’t in his league a few years ago.  Dibiase hasn’t been seen as the same since.

But the best part was of course hearing from The Rock again.  I’ll say this again, nobody has the crowd at the palm of his hand, like The Rock has.  The only good thing out of this though is a match between Cena and The Rock.  This has to happen, even if Rock puts Cena over.  Rock has stated he will never wrestle again, but why bring this up if wrestling each other isn’t the ultimate plan?  Regardless, Rock was on tonight.

But here is the bad things, the way they treat NEXUS is absolutely horrible.  These guys were brought in as original, they were brought in and attacked the entire Raw roster and was brought in to be unstoppable.  Then Summerslam took place, and they haven’t been looked at as the same since.  I was hoping that Punk leading them would be brought in differently, but it’s not.  They are still jobbers, who will never amount to much, despite being second generation Wrestlers, like McGillicutty and Husky Harris are.

The way they treated the women tonight was absolutely stupid, what’s worst is they are pushing The Bellas, yet they don’t offer much.  They should be valets where they put over the talent.

So, here we are.  Tonight’s Raw just wasn’t that good, but do you agree?  Disagree?  Let me know through email at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com or let me know through the site.

WWE Smackdown 2/25/11…Excuse Me…Vickie Is Fired!!!

We see footage from last week, Dolph Ziggler is fired for being behind assaulting Teddy Long.  But then Edge was re-hired and won the World Heavyweight Championship again.  Teddy Long comes back and fired Dolph Ziggler.  What happens tonight?  We’ll find out right now.

Thodore Long said that she had every right to fire Vickie after what happened, but tonight, he has decided to let her fight for her job.  Our main event match is a mixed tag match between Edge and Kelly Kelly wrestling Vickie and Drew McIntyre.  Holla!!  Holla!!

After Greenday telling us we need to “Know Thy Enemy”, Rey Mysterio comes down to the ring.

Booker T, Josh Matthews, and Michael Cole welcome us to the show.

Rey’s opponent is Kane.

Rey won with a Tilt a Whirl roll up to pin Kane and beat him.  Good, long match setting the tone tonight.

Here comes “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes.  We are Funky like a Monkey.

Rey has been like family for the Rhodes if you wheel, and he is deeply embarrassed for how Cody has been treating Rey lately.  He wans Cody to come to the ring, and apologize himself.

He does come out, wearing the mask,  He wants to know why his Dad would do this, he came here tonight to make an announcement, and this wasn’t it.  Besides, Rey is the one that did this to his face wearing the mask, why would Dusty do this?

Because of him, he didn’t have a Royal Rumble moment, he didn’t have his Elimination Chamber moment, he didn’t have his…

Dusty tells him that somewhere through their talks, Cody lost focus.  He wanted to go to Hollywood, he want to wrestle, he has to make his decision.  While Cody was being “Dashing” The Miz won the WWE Title.  While he was being “Dashing” Edge came in and took the World Title away from him.

But this man, what happened was an accident, he took his knee pads and gave Cody a 619 and his knees hit Cody’s “Dashing” face.  So he has to do the right thing, he has to make this right and apologize to Rey.

He apologizes to his Dad, and he even apologized to Rey.  After Dusty shook hands with Rey, he held him while Cody can nail him from behind.  Cody dragged Rey out of the ring and rammed his head into the mirror.  When he did that, he ripped his mask off his face.  Rey was covering up on the floor, while referees were checking on him.

Moments ago, we see what we just saw.

Father and Son are having a moment with Rey’s mask on.

Rosa Mendes will take on Layla, with Michelle on commentary.

Layla was DQ’d when Layla rammed Rosa into Michelle and Michelle fell down, then she took down Rosa and was DQ’d.  This upset Layla.

Layla forgives Michelle and all is forgiven.

Still to come tonight, we will have Edge and Kelly Kelly take on Vickie Guerrero and Drew McIntyre, we’ll also hear John Cena’s answer to The Rock.

Match is about to start, “The All-American, American” Jack Swagger taking on Kofi Kingston.

Kofi loses again to an Ankle Lock.  The story here was Kofi had his arm taped up after what happened Monday night with Del Rio attacking him.  He never should have taken this match and was a step slow tonight.  Good effort, but he lost.

Vicki Guerrero wants the match to be cancelled tonight, saying it’s unfair that her match is determining if she keeps her job or not, but nobody is answering the door.

John Cena’s answer to The Rock is on now.

This was an interesting bit and I would love to see the two legends in the ring together doing thid dual battle here.  Book it Vince.

We are backstage again with Vikki and Chavo.  She wants him to watch her back.  He remembers some rough times being her gopher, so she is on her own.

Wrestlemania 27 is 34 days away.

The next match is Big Show taking on Wade Barrett with The Corre banned from ringside.

:::Editor’s Note:::

I was watching this show late Friday night, and I fell asleep, so I shut the TV off and am watching the rest of the show on Saturday.

:::Continue Report:::

The Big Show wins the match in a countout, and when The Corre comes out after the match, Show grabs a chair and swings at Justin Gabriel.  The rest of The Corre bailed and Show is left standing.

Still to come, our main event, Edge and Kelly Kelly facing off against Kelly Kelly and Drew McIntyre.

Will Vickie be fired?

Coming up next, the confrontation between HHH and The Undertaker this past Monday night on Raw.

This is an awesome video presentation highlighting their confrontation, in music form.

Vickie Guerrero and Drew McIntyre walk backstage, heading to the ring.  Main event is up next.

Vickie Guerrero and Drew McIntyre taking on Edge and Kelly Kelly is up now.

Edge and Kelly Kelly defeated Vickie Guerrero and Drew McIntyre with a double spear by both Edge and Kelly.  So reality set in for Vickie after the match.

Teddy Long came out, and officially fired her, doing his jig.  Vickie was beside herself, begging people to get her job back.  Referee Scott Armstrong, Booker T, Michael Cole, and even the camera guy.  She was so desperate that she begged Edge for her job back, Edge said he can help her, but he won’t.  So let’s sing a song….Na Na Na- Na Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye.

Vickie was on the top of the ramp, screamed and left.  But Alberto Del Rio attacked Edge, giving him a Cross Arm Breaker to end the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This was a good show, setting the tone for Wrestlemania.  Especially the ending, while firing Vickie Guerrero was a backdrop, the main course was Alberto telling Edge “Don’t forget about your Wrestlemania opponent” and he attacks him.

I am not sure why they insist on The Corre not looking good, but not only did Wade Barrett lose, but they also ran away like cowards with just one chair shot.  They need to be badasses, look at Wade himself, he is a Bare Knuckles Fighter, why in the hell would a Bare Knuckle Fighter run away, even if it is a guy as massive as The Big Show?

I did like the setup though to Rey Mysterio and Cody Rhodes, even adding Cody’s Father, “The American Dream” if you wheel and doing whatever it takes for his son.  That should tell the babyfaces something there, never trust Dusty when it revolves around his son.

I loved the presentation of HHH-Undertaker and the video, it wasn’t necessarily a word for word, or in this case straight up moment for moment on Raw, but more or less a highlight form.  Will it be career vs streak?  Tune in the coming week.

Not sure why Kofi Kingston, the Intercontinental Champion continues to lose, but he is doing that now.

Overall, a good show and fun to watch.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Send me an email at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com or send me your thoughts on the site.

WWE Superstars 2/24/11…The American Dragon Vs The Fortunate Son

Hello Beth, Happy Birthday.

Jack Korpela and Matt Striker welcome us to the show tonight.  The main event will be Daniel Bryan taking on Ted Dibiase.

The new WWE Tag Team Champion, Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater will face off against Trent Baretta and JTG.  Why not Curt Hawkins?

Slater and Gabriel won the match when Justin Gabriel hit JTG’s side and Heath slapped on Sweetness to win the match.  A solid match, but I think Baretta/Hawkins would work better together.

Tonight, 2-21-11 video is revealed.

Chris Masters gets another crack at Tyler Reks, the match is up now.

Chris owns Tyler right now, his 2nd straight win with The Masterlock.  Ryks still doesn’t show any charisma.

The main event is going to be Daniel Bryan taking on Ted Dibiase.  Will Maryse walk to the ring with him?

Scott Stanford and Josh Matthews welcomes us to the show.

We see Santino come down to the ring, his opponent is Tyson Kidd.

Santino won with the Cobra.  How far has Tyson Kidd’s career fallen off since he broke up the Hart Dynasty?  Very sad.

2-21-11 will be revealed next.

Wrestlemania video, we are 38 days.

The Undertaker made his return to WWE this past Monday night.  But so did HHH, who challenged him to a Wrestlemania match, and they did this without saying a word.  Very cool moment here, check it out Youtube.

Main event time, Daniel Bryan taking on Ted Dibiase now.

Daniel Bryan wins with the Lebell Lock after Yoshi Tatsu brought flowers for Maryse.  When Ted asked what was going on, Maryse slapped Ted with the flowers and that is all she wrote.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

The show was decent with a good main event match, even if the ending was a bit goofy.  I also enjoyed seeing the HHH-Undertaker confrontation about Wrestlemania.  Although I will say it’s time to cut some bait on Tyler Reks,  He is completely useless.  Other than that, a good show.

What were your thoughts on the show?  Send me an email at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com and send me your thoughts on the site.

TNA Impact 2/24/11…The Biggest Surprise Ever?

TNA sent a press release, saying tonight at the end of Impact, we will see the biggest surprise ever.  I guess we will see, but we are 1 week away from the big March 3rd episode of Impact, where do we go from here?  Let’s check it out.

We see highlights of what took place last week with Jeff Hardy defeating RVD, and Mr. Anderson Mic Checking everyone in sight.

We also saw the return of Ric Flair and where he stood in terms of Fortune and Immortal.  A.J. Styles issued a challenge.

Mr. Anderson kicks off the show, with a chair and I don’t think he will use it to sit down.

Okay I guess he does, but he wants his title show, no matter who runs the show.  He said he is calling the shots now.  It says in his contract he gets a rematch, so he will sit down in the middle of the ring until he gets that shot.

Why doesn’t The Network like him?  is it because he is an asshole?  The crowd thinks so.

If that’s the case, Rob Van Dam isn’t exactly a law-abiding citizen.

You speak about RVD, and here he comes.

RVD wants to see if he’s not hearing things.  Anderson said RVD isn’t exactly a law-abiding citizen?  What about the laws of morality?  After all, Anderson allowed Hardy to cheat to win.  What about the code of ethics?  If it’s his job to be a referee, he shouldn’t stand in the way of someone else’s chances.  Anderson had some huge plans when he came to TNA, right?

Yup.

But RVD ruined that plan by proving he is the better wrestler and it pains Anderson because when RVD gets the title, he won’t have a shot at winning it back.

Now, don’t get him wrong, Ken is very good on the mic.  He is a force to be reckoned with.  But the Whole F’N Show, he is not.  If he gets an opportunity to screw Ken out of a title shot, like he did last week, he is all about it.

So Ken wants to get this straight, RVD doesn’t like him?  He got screwed out of his title shot that he was supposed to get?  He doesn’t care that RVD doesn’t like him.  He doesn’t care he has a bit of Chinese in Rob, he doesn’t care.  He will get his title shot again, but let’s just suppose.

RVD attacks Ken and the two go at it, when security breaks them up and separates them.

Here comes Immortal.

What do we have here?  It looks like a main event.  Bischoff was going to give Ken his rematch, but he is sure of this.  He saw the energy and enthusiasm between the two and the ratings draw, so tonight, instead of a rematch, we will get Mr. Anderson taking on RVD.

Jeff Jarrett whispers something in Eric’s ear, and he loves that idea.  So tonight, in that very ring, Mr. Anderson Vs RVD Vs Kurt Angle in a 3-Way Dance.

It’s official now.

Also tonight, Scott Steiner Vs Rob Terry in a posedown, we also get Ric Flair taking on A.J. Styles.

Scott Steiner is talking about his posedown tonight.  His workout regime is drinking James Storm’s beer, Eric Young is posing behind him, Steiner sees this, and isn’t amused.  I thought it was funny, but Scott wasn’t.  He kicked him out.

Earlier this week, the Jarretts are picking out Karen’s wedding dress.  She’s not impressed by the first choice.  She has legs.

She doesn’t like the second choice either.  Tad just isn’t cutting it for them.

Karen is still his wife, she is still fabulous, and she is still a princess.

Now some dweeb wants to know what Kurt Angle thinks of the upcoming wedding.  Kurt walks away.  He said it took a matter of time to show what they really are.  He’ll give Karen away next week, but it couldn’t come at a better time, as far as Mr. Anderson and RVD goes tonight, he’s not in a very good mood.

Tag team action, Eric Young and Orlando Jordan taking on Gunner and Murphy, here comes Beer Money to commetate.

Next week, Beer Money will defend their TNA Tag Team Titles against Gunner and Murphy.

Gunner and Murphy beat Eric and Orlando with a Demolition Decapitation move.  Yes, I said Demolition, not sure what they will call it, but it’s a cool move.  Eric worked the entire match though, and he is truly an underrated worker.

Angelina Love and Velvet Sky are talking.  Angelina questions Velvet’s decision to put her career on the line.  What would she do if she was in this situation?  Angelina said she put her career on the line last year, but her opponent wasn’t against Sarita, who will do whatever it takes to win.

Velvet needs some time alone, so Angelina grants her wishes.

Still to come tonight, A.J. Styles taking on Ric Flair.

Here comes Devon.

This is first appearance since Bully Ray attacked his two sons at Against All Odds.

He wants to apologize to his two boys, Terrence and Tyrelle.  A father’s worst dreams is when he can’t protect his kids.  He felt that, when Ray put him through a table, and kicked the other boy in the face.  They called Bubba “Uncle” they loved you, and he put his hands on them.  He wants to apologize to them, he should have been there to protect them, and he felt he wasn’t.  He promises them this won’t go unanswered.

Bully Ray is backstage, calling out Devon.  He kicked someone down, he wants to know how his boys are doing?  The two boys, he let down?  Just so that Devon never forgets what Ray did to his two bastard sons, he is going to put one of Devon’s brothers through a table so he can never forget that Ray is the strong one, and Devon was always the weak line.  My brother, testify.

Tommy Dreamer is right behind him, and he starts to beat him down, chasing him to ringside.  Devon tries to hit Ray with a chair, but misses.  Security runs down, with Tommy to try to calm Devon down, but Devon swung and accidentally hit Tommy.

Madison Rayne is ready for her open challenge, and she wants Tara to stay back here, no matter what.  Tara wishes her luck.

Still to come tonight, Mr. Anderson taking on Kurt Angle and RVD in a 3-Way Dance.

Also, A.J. Vs Flair.  Need I say more?

Moments ago, A.J. is backstage, and he is saying he isn’t standing in anyone’s shoulder, and tonight, he gets out of Flair’s shadow and proves that he is the one that built TNA.

Magnus will take on Crimson now.

Magnus said that they both have alot in common.  Crimson is ambitious, not as ambitious as Magnus, but that’s cool.  He has a great physique, not as great as Magnus, but hey, that’s cool.  Nobody else can be the Mack Daddy.  But here is where they are different, Magnus isn’t carrying Kurt Angle’s bags around, and the match is on.

Crimson wins with the Red Alert, very short match.  So Magnus is a heel again?

RVD doesn’t know what the match is about tonight.  Entertain Bischoff?  Sure.  Get back at Mr. Anderson from last week?  Okay.  Get his title shot back?  Okay, but he will make sure that he isn’t losing the match.

The Posedown between Steiner and “The Freak” next.

Terry said that Steiner is looking at the Future, “The Freak” Rob Terry.  He will prove that he has the best body in the history of this business and prove he is the real “Genetic Freak” of the business.  He is ready for the posedown, and so is Steiner.

But Scott is all decked out in a suit still.

The best thing that could have happened tonight is Scott coming in a good mood, but when Rob calls himself a “Genetic Freak”, he pissed Scott off.

There is only one “Genetic Freak” and it’s Scotty.  How about Rob coming up with an original name.  How about “Grenoble” because when he looks at Terry, he sees Rob is one or two vitamins away from a chemical disaster.  The difference between the two of them, Scott has earned his nickname for 20 years of ring work, Rob got his name from bodybuilding.

Scott doesn’t want to oil himself up, instead he wants to go to the back and get his gear and if Rob is still in the ring, he is going to kick his ass.

Rob said that is so typical of an American.  Anytime they see a person with a better body, they run and hide.

Scott comes back in the ring, takes his jacket off.  Terry though nails Scott with a weight.  Then he chokes him out with his tie.

After about 10 minutes here, security runs out.

No posedown for us tonight.

Velvet comes back into the room and sees Winter.  Winter just wants bygones be bygones.  But she hears other people doubting Velvet Sky’s abilities.  She wants Velvet to prove herself, like Winter and Angelina did when they won the Knockout Tag Team Titles.  Velvet said that when she takes Sarita’s ass out, she is coming for Winter.

Still to come, 3-Way Dance between Mr. Anderson, Kurt Angle, and RVD.

Ric Flair is up next, but he too is decked out in a suit.

The Jarretts are talking to the preacher.

Ric Flair comes out to the ring, looking only as he can look….WOOOOOOO

Flair said it is hard to be humble when you’re The Nature Boy.

Flair wants to talk to A.J. Styles before they wrestle.

Here comes The Phenominal One.

Flair wants A.J. to come out and beg for forgiveness.  It’s hard to be humble.

Styles asks Flair why he was avoiding him?  Because every time he looked at him, he wanted to beat the piss out of him and peel his head like an onion.  But if he did that, Flair wins, and he won’t do that.

Flair said that he did what he did because Fortune stopped talking to him, they didn’t come to him like a leader, but A.J. is the new leader now.

Flair said he wanted to talk to James Storm, but he wouldn’t answer his calls, where was he?

He was drinking.  Fair enough.

But not with God.

There was a reason why they never told him about what happened, because Flair would have talked them out of it.

But Flair taught them about going down the path of greatness, but now he is going to teach A.J. about respect.

Flair slaps Styles and the two fight until Hernandez comes out and sides with Flair, but A.J. takes care of him, and beats down Flair some more, but Hernandez clips him again.  Flair tries to go after Styles, but A.J. went for the nut shot, the dirtiest player in the game taught A.J. so well, and gave Hernandez the Pele Shot.

A.J. takes Flair outside the ring, and makes him bleed.  But Hernandez catches A.J. again.

And this time, 3rd time is a charm.  A.J. shows his resilience though and flies out of the ring, lands on Hernandez, then rips Flair’s clothes off, while stomping a mud hole.  He goes for a Styles Clash, but Hernandez shoves him off.

Now Fortune come out.

But while this was going on, Matt Morgan nails Hernandez from behind and starts beating him down.  There will be a tag team match down the road, you have to think here.  Morgan tells Hernandez they are just getting started.

Fortune celebrates in the ring.

Mr. Anderson said right now he is focused on getting his title back.  He has tunnel vision.

Still to come, 3-Way Dance.  Mr. Anderson Vs Kurt Angle Vs RVD.

Video talking about the history between Dixie Carter, Hulk Hogan, and TNA.  Next week, the injunction hearing will be revealed.  Who is in control of TNA?

Madison Rayne’s Non-Title Open Challenge is up now.  Who answers the challenge?

ODB.

Madison Rayne defeated ODB with an Eat Defeat.  Madison did it all herself here, and Tenay asks the question who can beat Madison?

Velvet Sky confronts Sarita, who is with Rosita.  Velvet Sky accepted the challenge, and Sarita confirmed that Velvet’s TNA career is on the line.  She was impressed that Velvet answered the challenge.  This match takes place next week, and Sarita gives Velvet her word, that it will be a one on one encounter, no tricks.  They shake hands and when she leaves, Sarita and Rosita laugh, Sarita will take care of business.

Eliminate the Hate.

Matt Morgan is backstage and said what we witnessed just now was payback.  Payback because Hernandez cost Matt a chance of a lifetime to become TNA World Champion.  And for that, payback will be delivered in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Impact next week, when they face each other.

The Jarretts are getting fitted for Jeff’s tux.  Karen is no longer a princess, she is a Queen.

They show video of Jersey Shore’s J-Woww’s appearance on TNA awhile back, and her “situation” with Cookie, see what I just did there?

Cookie and Robbie-E are announcing that Jersey Shore’s Angelina will appear next week, calling out J-Woww.  Jersey is in the house, bitches.

Main event time, 3-Way Dance between Kurt Angle Vs Mr. Anderson Vs RVD.

Mr. Anderson wins the match when the Bride and Groom to be shows up to celebrate right when Kurt starts an Ankle Lock on Ken.  But they distracted him long enough for Anderson to get up and slap the Mic Check for the pin fall.  The Jarretts celebrate this, while Mr. Anderson is satisfied for his win.

Taz and Mike Tenay run down next week’s March 3rd episode of Impact, from Fayetteville, North Carolina.  Angelina from The Jersey Shore will be here, we’ll also see Bart Scott from the New York Jets here, Hernandez Vs Matt Morgan one on one, Beer Money Vs Gunner and Murphy, and of course the wedding nuptials of The Jarretts, with Kurt walking Karen down the aisle, and before we end the show.  We see a mysterious video, with a man in black walking up the stairs.  He is coming up on 3-3-11.  Yes, the same video package we saw WWE use just this past week, and that is how we end the show tonight.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

A much better show that we had last week, in particular, the beginning of the night was a million times better, putting RVD and Mr. Anderson at odds against each other, you throw Kurt into the mix, and we can have a very good main event, and we did.

We also had a strong tag team match, putting over the challengers, Gunner and Murphy.  It’s always fun hearing Beer Money on commentary too.  And if they do the Demolition Devastation move, that always works for me.

The match is set between Velvet Sky and Sarita, with Velvet’s career on the line.  That takes place next week.

We will also see former tag team partners collide with Matt Morgan and Hernandez.  I look forward to seeing that.

I also liked hearing Bully Ray and Brother Devon, their mic work has been superb.  You have to wonder here if they wrote their own material, because it seems a million time better than anything the other writers have done.  So far, I am rather impressed.

A.J. and Flair had a neat mic work against each other, but no match and for that, they never should have announced there match tonight, if they knew all along they weren’t actually doing a match.  In fact, put the match on PPV.  With Morgan getting involved with Hernandez.  Those two face off next week.

We will also get a big Knockut match next week, Sarita taking on Velvet Sky.  I hope to see a video of how important this match is going to be.

So Magnus a heel again, and if he is…why?

Speaking of why, there was a Sean Waltman look-alike tonight too, for a bit, I really thought it was him.

So we get to see who shows up on 3-3-11.  My money is on the guy in black, no, the other one.  But one way or the other, we will find out next week.

What did you think of the show?  Give me an email at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com or send me your thoughts on the site.

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/21/11…2/21/11…Who Is Here?

The Road To Wrestlemania kicked it up 7 gears after last week, and now that Elimination Chamber is done, we are truly in 8th gear.  Tonight, John Cena is supposed to answer to what The Rock had to say, we also will find out who is behind the 2/21/11 video, you know the video the announcers have not brought up, whatsoever.  So what happens tonight?  Kick off your shoes, kick back, and find out with me.  As Nickelback would say let’s burn the ground tonight.

We will find out at 10:00 PM who is behind the 2-21-11 video, we start the show off with a new video., counting down the minutes.

We are in Fresno, California.  My friend Brandon is there, ready for the show to begin.

We start off with “The Champ” John Cena, coming off a huge Elimination Chamber win last night.  He is off to Wrestlemania to face The Miz.

Michael Cole and Josh Matthews are at ringside, Jerry “The King” Lawler is not.

The crowd is chanting Rocky and Cena wants a bowl of Fruity Pebbles.

Cena said he won last night and is off to Wrestlemania.  It should have been a night of women and wine to make him feel fine, but he said he hasn’t heard much about Elimination Chamber or The Miz.  He has been hearing about some “alleged” comments about The Rock.  He went to a gas station and people said “Rocky laid you out, what are you going to say about it”.  Cena said he was going to let it slide, he is The Rock.  But let’s see the footage, then he will decide what to do.

They show us the footage from last week.  You can’t see me.

Now that he sees it, Cena thinks Rock has made fun of him, he thinks he should say something.  But if he calls someone, he only can do it one way.  He still has a degree of Thuganomics.  Well, he says he needs to send a message to The Rock, so he can focus on Wrestlemania.

So he will do it once, we get a rap.  He talks about The Rock leaving us high and dry to play a fairy with a tooth.  He discusses how he wore lipstick in Get Shorty, and wore a skirt for The Game Plan.  This Fruity Pebble thing, he isn’t the average Jabroni, he is like a big purple windmill, so go ahead and blow me, and he takes out the windmill and blew it.  You’re electrifying, yes, but to hang with him, that’s absurd, that’s like hanging with Barney’s turd.  But that is The Rock’s language, not his, he raced to Witch Mountain, now he’s just Brokeback.  The Rock’s new movie, that’s not Walking Tall, he is working at a bowling alley, polishing his balls.  The People’s champ, he’s never with the People, his words are like see-through.  For 7 years, we never saw you.  Is it Rock, or is it Dwayne, pick a side, if he’s with you, he’d stick with Rock, Dwayne doesn’t have a Johnson.  He’ll see you at Wrestlemania, he’ll make sure not to miss it.  Rock won’t kick his candy ass, he’ll make sure to kiss it.  You’re the Wrestlemania host Rock, know your role.  You tell these people you love them, but Cena is here every week to show it.

That is called a first round knockout, know it.  Now you know Cena ain’t playing, run his mouth all you want, it doesn’t matter what you’re saying.

And with that, he drops the mic and ends the segment.

Cole will interview The King tonight about his loss last night for the WWE Title.  Coming up next, John Morrison will face off against CM Punk.

Punk beat John Morrison with Go To Sleep, Punk worked on the injured knee and took him out.

Punk has the mic.  He wants Randall Keith Orton to come out, he is standing right here.  He has decided to give NEXUS the night off.  This is not a setup.  People make decisions to affect their life’s day in and day out.  The people made their decision to buy a ticket to see him.  September 7th, 2008, he decided to punk Punk in the skull.  A few twists and turns, and he now has the most important decision in his life to make.  The bright lights of Wrestlemania is not in his future.  Just walk away, Randy doesn’t deserve to be at Wrestlemania.  Either he is too crippled to compete, because he has decided to finish what Randy started, or he actually cares about his own well-being.  He will finish Randy off next week, unless he just walks away.

Here comes Randy to beat down Punk.

Randy just misses a RKO and Punk gets out-of-the-way.

Here comes Alberto Del Rio, I love how these Smackdown guys come out for a match on Raw.  But anyway, his opponent is Kofi Kingston.

Kofi attacks him Del Rio, but Ricardo Rodriguez helps out Alberto, Del Rio slams his hand on the steel steps and slaps on the Cross Arm Breaker.

Del Rio gives us a wink and a smile, the match doesn’t take place.

Del Rio attacks Kofi again.

Here comes The Miz, he is heading to the ring next.

More mic time, this is from the WWE champion, The Miz.

Last week, you people embarrassed themselves.  He said men jumping up and down for another man, that was The Rock.  Back in 1999, Miz remembers The Rock electrifying, he was very happy to see The Rock, and happy to see The Rock mentions The Miz’s name, so he wanted to know what he had to say, he said The Miz unquestionably, 100% completely sucks.  Really?  That is the best The Rock can do, he hears that from grade school kids.  Does the people think The Miz sucks?  Yes?

Really?

Yes.

Really?

Well, that is fine, Miz can look at his WWE Title and see his reflection.  John Cena and The Rock are both cultural ICONS and they both think he sucks.  The fans think he sucks, and it’s real simple….it doesn’t matter what the people think.  He is a master of pop culture, and he completely, unquestionably is AWESOME!!

Email sound….

The Raw GM said enough of The Rock, he will deal with him at a later time.  The Rock N Sock Connection was a very formidable tag team, so tonight, the WWE Tag Team Titles will be on the line.  Slater and Gabriel will defend their newly won Tag Team Titles against The Miz and John Cena.

Good gravy, we will see new tag team champs again.

Still to come tonight, Michael Cole will interview Jerry “The King” Lawler.

The Bella Twins are out, their opponents are Eve and Gail Kim, without their entrances.

The Bella Twins win the match with a roll up.  They pulled off the switcheroo, distracting Eve.

We find out who is behind 2-21-11 next.

Who is coming on 2-21-11?

It’s The Deadman, The Undertaker.

I will say though, it wouldn’t be Wrestlemania without The Deadman.

And here comes HHH, boy oh boy, they are doing it.

Wow, this was a hell of a segment and yet no words have been said.  Hunter and Taker stared at each other, Hunter looked at the Wrestlemania sign, Taker looked at it, smiled and shook his head no.  Then he started to walk awa, turned around and gave the End signal with his throat.  HHH then gave Taker The “Suck It” DX Chop, and Taker looked at HHH.  They didn’t say anything about career Vs Streak though.  Very good segment.

Wrestlemania video, we are 41 days away.

Moments ago, we see what we just saw.

Good God, Sheamus has that stupid crown and cape, this is why HHH isn’t even bothered to get revenge on him for taking him out.

Sheamus is going against Mark Henry.

Mark wins the match with The World’s Strongest Slam on the exposed turnbuckle.  It has to be that cape.

Still to come, The Miz and John Cena team up to face Slater and Gabriel for the WWE Tag Team Titles.

Miss America Rima Fakih is joining the cast of Tough Enough.

Daniel Bryan is backstage with Gail Kim, telling her she looked good.  Sheamus walks by, thinking they are laughing at them and gets into Daniel’s face.  Hmmmmm, could the U.S. Title be on the line at Wrestlemania?

The next inductee to the Hall of Fame is Hacksaw Jim Duggan.  Really?

Duggan will be inducted by “The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase.

Michael Cole interrupts Hacksaw’s moment, by getting into the ring.  He said they will not fight, because the Raw GM said they both would be terminated if they fight.  Cole said he is a broadcast journalist, and the voice of WWE.  Besides Vince McMahon, he is the best voice in the entire business.  Better than Sollie, better than Gorilla Monsoon, and certainly better than Jim Ross.  He also was a former war correspondent, and in a few minutes, he will act like a broadcast journalist here, by interviewing Jerry “The King” Lawler.

Here comes The King.

Cole said it’s been a rough 24 hours, so he will get to the point.  What was it like to prepare himself for the WWE Title at Elimination Chamber?  How did he feel leading into the match.

He doesn’t answer.

Perhaps he can answer this one, how did it feel when his dream was shattered?  How did it feel to lose to the Must See WWE Champion, The Miz.  Did he think it was time to retire?  Maybe Cole was right, to hang up his boots for good.

No answer.

How about this?  When he was in the ring last night, the ref counted 1….2….3.  He was staring at the lights, he realized that his deceased Mother, no disrespect.

Wow.

When she had the best seat in the house, and he realized he let his Mother down.

King, quit and hit him.

He puts his hand on Cole and said if he ever mentions his Mother again, it will be the last thing he will ever say.  He has sat for weeks when Cole says the praises of his thumb-sucking friend.  He will know more than they will ever know about Wrestling.  He will get into Wrestlemania one way or the other, King Vs Cole.

Cole said he is a senile old man, he will never get him in the ring ever.

Be a man Cole, are you just a gutless, yellow coward.

Cole takes his jacket off, throws water in his face, and runs away like a gutless, yellow coward.

Chants of “Jerry” end this segment.

Here comes The Corre, ready for the main event, WWE Tag Team Titles are on the line next.

Moments ago, we see what we just saw.

John Cena and The Miz taking on Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel is on now.

Another titles mean worthless anymore.

John Cena and The Miz win the WWE Tag Team Titles when The Corre gets squashed.

Wade Barrett has the mic and he says The Corre has decided to invoke their rematch clause for the WWE Tag Team Titles, and they want it now.

Email Sound….

The Raw GM says ring the bell, here we go.

Slater and Gabriel defeated Cena and The Miz when Miz gave Cena a Skull Crushing Finale.  So we have the Tag Team Titles change hands 3 times in a 24 hour period.  4 different champions, well okay, 3 different champions.  This ends the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

So we already have a tag team split in less than 2 hours of forming?  The ending actually put the show down a notch.  It made no sense, and it doesn’t do the current tag team champions any favors at all.  Absolutely horrible way to end the show.

Here is the good part though, the rest of the show was fantastic, and it sets the stage for Wrestlemania very well.  For starters, HHH and Undertaker segment was epic.  I just have to think this was done by them, and not the creative team.  I truly hope it is not career vs streak though because I hate to see HHH returning, only to leave.  However, seeing HBK come back and serve as a special guest ref is good.

We also have the makings of a Wrestlemania moment for Jerry “The King” Lawler, and he has earned that.  I don’t expect his match with Cole to last long, but may I say, I called this a few months ago.  I did, you can check back the archives.

CM Punk Vs Randy Orton is set too, sort of.  I imagine it will be official next week.  But that was off to a good start too.

I guess Hacksaw Jim Duggan earns the Hall of Fame spot as much as Koko B. Ware did last year, but if we truly get this, I want the Brooklyn Brawler in next year.

Are we also seeing the U.S. Title be on the line since Wrestlemania 20, between Sheamus and Daniel Bryan?  That would be cool, if we are.

If they do a Money in the Bank match, give it to John Morrison, he has earned it.

Now for the beginning, with the return of The Doctor of Thuganomics, even if it’s one night was good.  The question is where do we go from here between The Rock and John Cena?

Overall, the show was good and the road to Wrestlemania continues to heat up.  What did you think of the show?  Give me an email at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com or give me your thoughts on the site.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2/20/11

The Road To Wrestlemania is closing in, but first we have this little thing called Elimination Chamber that will take place tonight.  Last year, HBK cost The Undertaker to start their Wrestlemania program.  Will something similar happen tonight?  Let’s find out.

We start off with an awesome video talking about the importance of winning the Elimination Chamber, and collect your ticket to Wrestlemania.

We are live in Oakland, California.  Our first match is going to be Alberto Del Rio taking on Kofi Kingston.

Michael Cole, Josh Matthews, and Booker T welcome us to the show.

Del Rio has the mic, but you already knew that.  But what we don’t know is he is committed to excellence, not like the Oakland fans.  Later tonight, 6 men will put themselves in danger, in alot of pain, but the winner will just lose to Alberto at Wrestlemania, because it’s his destiny.  Kofi Kingston is a piece of trash, he can’t stop the greatest of the great.  He can’t stop destiny, he can’t stop….

Boom!!  Boom!!  Boom!!  Here comes Kofi, and the match starts now.

Alberto wins the match clean from a Cross Arm Breaker.  A good match to start the show, and for a second, they made you think Kofi had a shot.  But this was centered around the potential challenger to the biggest show of the year, and they did a good job.

They show us Randy Orton, pacing around, getting ready for the Elimination Chamber match.  Booker said he is ready.

Todd Grisham is with Edge.  Edge puts the World Title on the line tonight in the Elimination Chamber, what is his frame of mind since the last few weeks.  Edge said with everything going on, he thought he could just relax and kick his shoes off, but that’s not happening.  History is not on his side, no champion has ever walked out of the chamber with the World Heavyweight Title in 5 years, but he has won an Elimination Chamber before, so he knows the sacrifices he needs to make.

Drew McIntyre is impressed, he said what would Kelly Kelly think right now, she is an innocent bystander, yet she is unemployed.  Edge said the Kelly and the World Title has something in common, they will never be seen with Drew.  Ouch.

Elimination Chamber video is played, so I am guessing the Chamber match is up next, but which one?

It’s the Smackdown one, for the World Heavyweight Title.

So it will be Kane Vs Drew McIntyre Vs Rey Mysterio Vs Edge Vs Wade Barrett Vs ???

Teddy Long comes out to introduce the 6th man.  My guess is Big Show.

And it is, which means Rey Rey and Edge will start things off.

The third man is in, and it’s Wade Barrett.

Kane is in now, nobody is eliminated yet.

Drew McIntyre is in now, and he welcomed Rey by throwing him through the pod.  Wow.

Now he threw out Wade Barrett into the other side of the pod.

Enter The Big Show now.

Wade Barrett is eliminated by the Knockout Punch by Big Show.

Big Show is eliminated by a Chokeslam from Kane, after a Spear, and a 619 from Rey and EDge.

Drew McIntyre is eliminated by Kane with a Chokeslam.

The final 3 are up now.

Kane is out with a Spear by Edge, so now it’s Rey and Edge as the final 2.

Kane attacks both men though.

Edge wins the match and retains his title with a Spear when Rey tried a top rope splash, what can I say?  Outstanding match, and I don’t see the Raw Chamber match topping this, I hope they do though.  Incredible.

Alberto Del Rio attacks Edge after the match, as Michael Cole said, sending a message.  He pulls off the Cross Arm Breaker too, and here comes Christian!!!!!

He goes after Del Rio, revenge for Del Rio taking Christian out months ago.  I guess he is healthy.

Killswitch engaged.  What a segment and fantastic match.

Edge spears Del Rio for good measure, not a good idea by Alberto to attack the champ.

Wrestlemania video, featuring the Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment…The Rock.

Matt Striker is interviewing The King.  He said this is supposed to be his most exciting week of his life, but his Mom passed away last Sunday, and she has been on his mind all week.  But you roll with the punches, he has had a tremendous career, but he has never had a Wrestlemania match, and tonight, he gets that opportunity.  He thanks all of the support he has been getting this past week due to his Mother passing.  But he is ready.

Justin Roberts introduces Booker T.  Booker wants to introduce a special guest, one of the trainers of this season’s Tough Enough, it’s Trish Stratus.  Always good to see my favorite WWE Diva.

Trish said that she is busy training the future wrestlers or diva, and she has been working on a new catchphrase.  Here we go.

Finally….The Trish has come back to Oakland to deliver Stratusfaction to the Millions….and millions…..SUUUUCCCKKKKAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Tell me she did not just say that, she did.  Tough Enough will be debuting the night after Wrestlemania after Raw.  But she is also here tonight to see Jerry “The King” Lawler become the new WWE Champion, and Michael Cole doesn’t like that.

Welcome back Trish.

WWE Tag Team Title match is up now, Santino and Vladmir Kozlov will face off against Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater.

We have new tag team champions, Slater and Gabriel won the match with a 450 splash by Justin Gabriel.  Big Zeke really didn’t interfere, but Booker was still upset he was there.

Todd Grisham is interviewing The Miz, he asks since we saw a title change hands, how nervous is The MIz?  The Miz said it’s not 1983 when it’s good to King, it’s not 1999 when we smelled what The Rock is cooking, he will address The Great One at a later time (tomorrow perhaps?) but tonight, he takes care of The King.  Now in terms of The Elimination Chamber, the way he sees it, there are 5 losers in that match, and the winner will lose to him at Wrestlemania, because he is The Miz….and he’s, no wait, he has earned the right to say he is awesome.

Cole is about to have a “Man-crush” moment about The Miz, but….

Excuse Me.

Vickie Guerrero comes out, she said that 2 days ago, there was a tragedy.  Her boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler was fired.  Yes, he may have attacked Teddy Long, but she can explain.  The two of them were dealing with some tough issues.  He has a terrible temper, and his state of mind was confused.  Instead of doing a rational thing, he committed a crime of passion, and he is so sorry.  So, she is asking for us to….please, excuse me.  She is asking us to convince Teddy Long to do the right thing and give Dolph a second chance.  Twitter, Facebook, call Teddy, and let him know Dolph needs to be re-hired.  They deserve a second chance.

Here comes Teddy.

What is the point of this?

She wants Teddy to look inside his big heart and re-hire Dolph.

Lucky for her, he is in a re-hire mood.

She is so excited, and he tells her to be quiet.  He hired Kelly Kelly back, and he gave her free will to give thanks to Vickie for her reign as Acting GM.

Here comes Kelly, going after Vickie.

Kelly goes after Vickie, but Lay-Cool come out and fight with her, and here comes Trish Stratus.  She checks on Kelly and Laycool attack her.  But Trish gives the Lou Thesz Press.   Trish gives Michelle the Chick Kick, then gives Layla the Stratusphere, and gives Michelle the Stratusfaction.  She raises Kelly’s arm and this segment is done.

WWE Title match, The Miz taking on Jerry “The King” Lawler is up next.

The Miz retains his title with a clean pin fall, he hit the Skull Crushing Finale.  Moment of the match came when Lawler rammed The Miz right into Michael Cole and Booker T laughed.  Alex Riley was thrown out, and The Miz gets a strong clean pinfall here, heading into Wrestlemania.

The crowd gives Jerry a very nice ovation.

2-21-11 Video is now being shown, I wonder if the announcers will bring this up?

John Cena has his comedy bit now, eating a big old bowl of Fruity Pebbles.  Todd Grisham wants John’s thoughts on what happened Monday night, John said his thoughts are on tonight’s Elimination Chamber match, to headline Wrestlemania.

Todd Grisham is with CM Punk.  Punk said that Cena has a mental disadvantage going in, he is batting 1.000 against John, 3-0.  He can’t see John winning Elimination Chamber, he can’t see anyone winning, except him.

Wrestlemania video, we are 42 days away from the event.

Raw Elimination Chamber match is up now.  John Cena Vs CM Punk Vs Sheamus Vs John Morrison Vs R-Truth Vs Randy Orton.

It will be Shaemus and John Morrison starting things off.

In comes The Viper.

CM Punk is in now.

Punk is done with a very quick RKO by Orton.  Wow, I mean very quick.

Email sound, what the hell?

Punk is to re-enter his pod, he is reinstated in the match.  So he is going to be pinned twice?

Cena is in now.

R-Truth is in now.

R-Truth is eliminated first with a Brogue Kick by Sheamus.

Here comes Punk, with Randy waiting.

Randy Orton is eliminated with a GTS by Punk.  Wow.

Sheamus is eliminated because John Morrison did a DDT off of the structure.  He is incredible.

Now the Final 3 are Punk, Cena, and Morrison.

John Morrison is done with a GTS, he hurt his leg too, it seems.

Cena with an Attitude Adjustment on the steel ground and he wins the match.

The Miz Vs John Cena at Wrestlemania.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Other than the predictable ending here, this was a fantastic PPV, especially the Smackdown Elimination Chamber match.  Hands down, that was the match of the night.  We are seeing things slowly unfold as to what the direction for Wrestlemania is going to be, with Del Rio Vs Edge, The Miz Vs Cena, and more than likely, Undertaker Vs HHH headlining the event.  I am sorry for giving away that last one, and I will be surprised if it’s not, but who else can Taker go against right now?  Morrison deserved to win the Raw Chamber match however, and again he was the MVP.  There is no better time then now to truly give him the long push as a potential champion, so I would give him the Money in the Bank win here at Mania.  What else can he do?

Miz Vs Lawler delivered, although again, the ending was obvious, I am just truly thrilled Miz had the clean pin fall and looked very good in the win, and we’ll more than likely get to see Cole Vs Lawler at the big show.

We have a title change and we also had a solid match starting off, making Del Rio look good, and we saw the return of Trish Stratus and Christian.  Again, a very good show.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Email me at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com or give me your thoughts on the show here at the site.

WWE Smackdown 2/18/11…The 600Th Episode of Smackdown

Tonight, we are witnessing history, 2 days away from Elimination Chamber, WWE is celebrating the 600th episode of Smackdown.  Tonight, we get a 12 man tag team match between John Cena, Randy Orton, John Morrison, Edge, Rey Mysterio, and R-Truth taking on CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, and Kane.

Michael Cole, Josh Matthews, and Booker T welcome us to the show, and we kick things off with the big 12 man tag team match now.

For some unknown reason, Edge still is wearing the World Heavyweight Title, even though Dolph Ziggler is supposed to have a coronation as the new World Heavyweight champion, and Michael Cole continues to tell us that.

The team of EDge, Rey Mysterio, R-Truth, John Morrison, Randy Orton and John Cena win the match with a 619 and a Spear by Edge on Dolph Ziggler.  Good, long match here, and it sets the tone to Elimination Chamber.

Excuse Me….

Vickie Guerrero is ordering Edge to hand over the World Heavyweight Title, she is showing us why.

We see footage from last week when Edge used the Spear and Vickie saw it, therefore, Edge loses the World Heavyweight Title, despite Clay Matthews coming in as a referee and counting 1…2…3.

Vickie said Clay was not a licensed official, so Dolph Ziggler is the new World Heavyweight Champion and he will have his coronation later tonight.  But Edge can watch it from his hotel room because she knows he attacked Teddy, he has always had this uncontrollable rage.  Even though she and Teddy doesn’t get along, she must do her job, so she regrets to inform Edge….he is FIRED!!!!!

Moments ago, we see what we just saw….Edge is fired.

They show us footage from last month now between Rey Mysterio and “Dashing” Cody Rhodes.  Rey “viciously” took out The Dashing One.

Earlier this week, Todd Grisham (Does he still work here?) is talking with “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, who is wearing a mask to protect his face.  He said his operation was a success, but what about the opportunity of success?  It’s been destroyed.  While Rey is on his road to Wrestlemania, Cody’s dream is gone.  He is here to say his doctor has cleared him to travel, which means he will be at Smackdown next week with an announcement to make.

Diva’s Tag Team action is up now.  Eve and Beth Phoenix taking on Layla and Maryse.

2-21-11 video, and no it’s not Sting making an appearance, the Deadman will return.

Michelle McCool joins the three men for commentary.  She hurt her foot and blames it on Layla for kicking her a few weeks ago.

Layla and Maryse win the match when Michelle distracted Eve a bit, and both Layla and Maryse gave her a double kick for the win.

Coming up next, The Great One returns to Raw, and is named the host of Wrestlemania.

Earlier tonight, we see that Edge is fired.  Still to come tonight, the new World Champion, Dolph Ziggler is crowned.

Kofi Kingston, the Intercontinental Champion is ready for action.  His opponent is The WWE Champion, The Miz.

Kofi took the L, as expected here.  Alberto Del Rio come out to distract Kofi, but Miz gave Kofi a Skull Crushing Finale for the win.

Alberto gives Kofi and a wink and a smile, and walks away.  That’s class right there, but you already knew that.

Now they run down the longest running shows on TV.  I seriously doubt the show is the 3rd longest reigning episodic show on TV, but okay.

Still to come, the World Heavyweight Title coronation to the new champion, Dolph Ziggler.

Coming up next, the WWE Tag Team Titles are on the line, Santino and Kozlov taking on Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel.

An Eddie Guerrero clip, we miss you Eddie.  Viva La Razza.

Tag Team title match is up now.

Gabriel and Slater get DQ’d after Barrett and Jackson came in and beat down on Santino after the Cobra, but here comes Big Show for the save.  Ezekiel Jackson is upset, he gets on the apron, climbs into the ring, but The Corre says now is not the time, so he leaves.

A Smackdown Classic, the Supermarket Brawl between Booker T and Stone Cold Steve Austin.  Booker just has to laugh about it.

The ring is being set for the Coronation next.

Dolph and Vickie are in the ring already, with the title on display.

Vickie said as General Manager, is a great privilege to introduce the new World Heavyweight Champion, Dolph Ziggler.

Dolph is celebrating, holding the title up.

Here comes Teddy Long.

Teddy said that they look like they saw a ghost.  Teddy said that Vickie had the most to gain.  Is her investigation through?  Vickie first denies everything, then blurts out it’s Dolph that did the whole thing, she is sorry to rat him out.  Teddy informs us that he is back in charge.  She had the power to fire people, and he has the power to re-hire people, so we will have a World Title match right now, and Dolph’s opponent is the newly hired Edge.

So, WWE Wrestlers who get fired stay unemployed for one hour in WWE?  The world title match is up now.

Edge becomes an 11 time World Champion by spearing Dolph Ziggler.  Very short match here.

After the match, Teddy comes back and he fires Dolph.

Edge said that he was at the 1st Smackdown, and here we are in the 600th episode, and he is the World Heavyweight Champion.  He knows what it’s like to get fired, so he has a song for Dolph.  Na Na Na Hey Hey Hey Goodbye, while confetti is flying all over the place, ending the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This was a fun show, especially showing the clips of the past shows, but I had one big problem here, and that is the main event, or lack thereof.  I understand they had to find closure, but we all knew it would be Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero.  So why not fire Vickie?  Why classify that Edge is an 11-time champion when the reality is he never really lost the title?  It devalues the championship like that, and let’s not do that.  Furthermore, do they know that they have a PPV this coming Sunday and need to fill that other slot?  Will it be Big Show?  Will anyone take that spot?  It’s just stupid.

Here is the good part though, they gave us less matches and more focus in them.  We had a very long match that had time and substance in the 12 man tag team match to start the show off.  We also had a decent match between Kofi and The Miz.  At the PPV, we will have Alberto Del Rio taking on Kofi Kingston, and I am not sure if I heard the announcers say that.  I guess there will be more questions that will be answered as we get closer to the build of Wrestlemania.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Give me an email at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com or give me your thoughts on the site.  I’ll talk to you on Sunday night at Elimination Chamber.

WWE Superstars 2/14/11…The Latin Ryders Are In Action Tonight

That’s right, the best new tag team in the world today, Zack Ryder and Primo, or as I call them The Latin Ryders are in action tonight against the WWE Tag Team champions, Santino and Kozlov.

But first, Jack Korpela and Matt Striker welcome us to the show, and we kick it off with Chris Masters, he is taking on Tyler Reks, here we go.

A bit of a surprise to me, Chris Masters wins the match with the Masterlock.  Perhaps Tyler Reks push is over with?  The dude still says nothing on the mic and does nothing that interests me in the ring.  So I am happy Chris picks up the win.

Our main event tonight is The Latin Ryders facing Santino and Kozlov in a non-title match.

Wow, the Raw side welcomes us to the show now.  Josh Matthews and Scott Stanford says hi, and so does Yoshi Tatsu and David Hart Smith.  Maybe Maryse’s kiss helped Yoshi a bit tonight?  Their opponents are The Uso’s.

The Uso’s win with the old Switch-a-roo and rams David’s shoulders into the ring post.  The Bella Twins should be proud, either that or upset about gimmick infringement.

Still to come, the main event tonight will be Santino and Koslov taking on The Latin Ryders.

Coming up next, The Great One returns to Superstars.  Well, actually footage from Raw, but you get my drift.

The segment is still awesome.  Welcome back The Rock.

Main event is up now.

Santino and Kozlov beat The Latin Ryders with the Cobra.  The match was given time, and actually Santino and Kozlov wrestled like a serious team, minus the Cobra.  Good win for the tag team champs to end the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Can I say again how refreshing it is to hear Scott Stanford call the action?  He informs us that Tatsu and Smith beat The Latin Ryders a few weeks ago on Superstars.  It’s the little details like that I can appreciate because he is putting over the wrestlers themselves, unlike the job Michael Cole does.

As for the show, a much better effort than last week, and what I liked seeing was more focus was put on the matches.  Even though The Latin Ryders lost, they still looked good and makes you think WWE will continue to use them as a tag team.  Now whether they are threats to the WWE Tag Team Titles are another story.  But a much better show than last week.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Email me at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com or give me your thoughts on the show through the site.

TNA Impact 2/17/11…Where Is Flair?

Off the heels of Against All Odds, we are in the Impact Zone with a new TNA Heavyweight Champion, his name is Jeffery Nero Hardy.  Jeff Jarrett also beat Kurt Angle in a tough match where Kurt put his boots in the middle of the ring.  He said he has some things to think about.

Tonight, we finally get RVD going against Jeff Hardy for the TNA Title.  Can Hardy retain his title?  Let’s find out.

Immortal comes out to gloat a bit.  Bischoff introduces Jeff Hardy, with that ugly belt.

Bischoff said that you can take Fortune out of Immortal, but you can’t take greatness out of the Anti-Christ of Professional Wrestling.

We see a split screen of Ric Flair entering the Impact Zone in style, in a limo.

Bischoff said that this proves that Immortal still controls things.  Gunner and Murphy proved they are better athletes then Beer Money and Scott Steiner.  Matt Hardy has proven his worth through Immortal by giving him his all against RVD.  He asked Jeff that he knew he had plans to take a break, but the network called him up first thing Monday and told him Jeff Hardy equals ratings, so he needs to put his TNA Title on the line tonight against RVD.

Everything is in place, Immortal controls the title, Hulk Hogan is due back on March 3rd (Really?), Jeff Jarrett is getting ready for his nuptials, but now they need to find out where Ric Flair is at.  Eric went to bat for Flair when Hogan reminded Bischoff about Flair’s past of not being trusted.  So he needs to know where things stand.  So he is giving Flair a week to tell Bischoff, but here comes The Nature Boy.

Flair said that Immortal has grown up on Ric Flair.  Bischoff has grown up on Flair, Bischoff doesn’t tell Flair what to do.  Has anyone forgotten, he is a Wrestling God….WOOOOOOOOO

When he went to Europe, the fans chanted “God!!  God!!  God!!”

Flair calls the shots, he can break up with Immortal, he can stand side by side, but it’s his decision.  That’s the power of being The Nature Boy “By God” Flair.  He’ll see them later, and hey, you honey, I’ll see you in the hotel.  WOOOOOOO

Via sattellite, Jeff Jarrett and Karen Jarrett are in a spa getting their groove on.  Jeff is a role model to Kurt, and a role model to every American out there.  Karen is glad Cody is in his life.  They have the whole night to themselves.

Backstage we come back and see A.J. Styles and Matt Hardy go at it.  Immortal and Fortune alike are fighting each other, later tonight, these two will hook it up one on one.

Mike Tenay and Taz welcome us to the show and talk about Jarrett-Angle and Hardy-Anderson.  You can check out the replay of Against All Odds by going to TNAWrestling.com.

Hernandez says hello to Sarita and Rosita.

Our first match tonight is Douglas Williams facing Hernandez.

Wow, Hernandez won the match with a Border Toss.  It was actually a squash here.  During the match, The Beatuiful People were fighting Sarita and Rosita.

Eric Bischoff is on the phone, with someone.  I guess this is “The Network”.

He wants to cancel the main event, it’s best for Jeff to have some time off.  The Network disagrees.

When we come back, The Pope is in the ring for a talking segment.  He has a pig that is roasting.  He said he is the most charismatic cat in the wrestling business.  Foot-tapping, pimp-tastic man.  Always on fire, he is so hot, not even Satan can stand next to him.  He said it is survival of the fittest.  He is the fittest, and what lies before you is a sloppy joe.

Pope was laying on a serengetti, and he was on the prowl, until he finally drew blood.  Jesus performed a miracle and fed alot of people with one fish.  So he will perform the miracle tonight, by feeding The Impact Zone some roasted pig.  Michael Jackson believes in The Pope, Ronald Reagan believes in The Pope.  Jesus just texted Pope, he believes in him too.  Who wants a pig?  It will cost $10 a pop.

Here comes Joe, he heads to the ring, Pope tries to bail but Okada stops him in the tracks.  Joe hunts Pope, gives him a Muscle Buster through a table and stuffs an apple in The Pope’s mouth, so we have a roasted Pope.

Still to come, Jeff Hardy facing RVD for the TNA Title.

Good gravy, more talking.  This time from Robbie E.  Doesn’t anyone wrestle anymore?

He says last Sunday at Against All Odds, TNA threw a grenade at him by making wrestle one dude, instead of two dudes.  But that’s okay, tonight he has a game plan, and he is here to become a 2-time TNA X-Division champion.

Jersey is in the house, Bitches.

Kazarian is in the back, getting a good luck kiss from his wife, the returning Traci Brooks.

Kazarian said as an OG member of the X-Divison and a card member of Fortune.  He said this company was built on the foundation the X-Division laid.  Maybe not as foundation as Cookie’s face right now, but you get the point.  But if he wants to be a serious wrestler, here is “The Situation”

Take trasure trash troll to the back, and let them wrestle one on one.

Here we go.

Robbie E. gets DQ’d when Cookie came back out with a trash can and nails Kazarian.  Traci Brooks comes back out and fights Cookie.  Robbie E. takes the X-Division Title however, but he throws it back at Kazarian.  Welcome back Traci.

Flair comes in with Fortune.  Flair is surprised this went down, but it’s all cool.  Flair said A.J. has Matt Hardy tonight.  Flair ices Fortune, but he wants A.J. to drink it after the match.  Beer Money and Flair chugs it down.  Chug!!  Chug!!  Chug!!

James takes A.J.’s Smirnoff.

Coming up next, A.J. Styles taking on Matt Hardy.

I love that new Chrysler, made in Detroit commercial.

Matt Hardy Vs A.J. now.

Ric Flair showed us who’s side he is on, and it’s not A.J.  Matt Hardy defeated A.J. with a Twist of Hate, after Flair shoved A.J. and prevented a Pinal Tap move.  A.J. was phenominal though doing some flying moves, but Matt and Flair grounded A.J.

Mr. Anderson is pacing backstage, he said someone will get their ass kicked, and it might be Eric Bischoff.

More action “Via Sattellite” from The Jarretts.

Here comes Mr. Anderson.

He wants Bischoff in the ring now, and here he comes.

Anderson wants to know why RVD has a title shot, and not Anderson.  He said he thought the champion was first in line.  Bischoff wants Anderson to know that Jeff Hardy is the champion, but the network demanded Hardy Vs RVD.  Ken isn’t happy about this, since when did the network have any say in a match?  Bischoff reminds him that this is a TV business, and since they write the checks, they decide what matches to have for the ratings.  Anderson suggested to put him in the match.  Bischoff suggested that Anderson wasn’t involved because of his language.  Anderson said that the network doesn’t like the word asshole?  The fans like asshole, Mr. Anderson likes the word asshole.  Bischoff said he has an idea tonight, he can’t make Anderson in the match, but he can put him in the main event.  How about serving a special guest ref?  He said he can’t get a title shot without pinning Hardy.  So get in line, stand in line and call it down the middle.  Anderson shakes Bischoff’s hand and then gives him a mic check.  Anderson said to Bischoff to tell the network this asshole from Titletown will get his title shot one way or the other.

Velvet Sky and Winter get at it again, Velvet said that Winter will not interfere in her match later tonight against Sarita and Rosita.  Winter has some scissors, but Angelina Love comes in and tells Winter she won’t be involved in their match later tonight.  Velvet runs off and Angelina wants to know why she has such an obsession with her, she said she will know all in due time.

Coming up next, The Beautiful People will take on Rosita and Sarita.

A.J. is livid about Ric Flair costing him the match against Matt Hardy.  This is about A.J. and Ric Flair.  So how about A.J. Vs Flair next week?

Knockout tag team match is up now.

Rosita and Sarita win the match when Rosita pulled Velvet Sky’s feet underneath her and Sarita put her feet on the ropes.

Velvet is through with Sarita’s nonsense.  The fans know, she knows, she has had her every single time, but Sarita has cheated.  So she wants a match with Sarita, with no interference, one on one.  Sarita asked her if she knows what kind of a joke Velvet is, she beats her every single time.  If Velvet wants Sarita one more time, then put her career on the line.

Good lord, another career at stake.

More from the Jarretts.

We see Kurt Angle, he is heading to Jeff and Karen’s dinner party, he wouldn’t miss it for the world.  Uh-Oh

Still to come, RVD taking on Jeff Hardy, with Mr. Anderson as the special guest ref.

Madison Rayne is backstage, happy said that she went to TNA Office and asked them for an open challenge to any woman in the business because she is bored beating every single Knockout, including Tara, who she beat in a 60 Minute Iron Woman match.

Scott Steiner said that Rob Terry has issued a pose down challenge against him next week.  He will find out his favorite pose is his fist down his throat.

Jeff Hardy Vs RVD video is playing right now.

Hardy said that all the pain he has put him through ends tonight.

Here we go, with the dinner party and The Jarretts.

Apperently the wine is no good, and the service is lousy.  Does the waiter know about March 3rd?  He wants to see his boss, and Kurt comes in.  The Jarretts run out, Jeff reminds Kurt about March 3rd.  Kurt said, what no tip?

Very funny.

RVD is ready for Jeff Hardy to finally get his title back, but the bonus is the title, because now he gets to tear Jeff apart.

TNA Title match, and your main event is up next.

When we come back, Taz and Tenay discuss Bully Ray and Devon and what went down at the Against All Odds PPV.  In particular what happened with Devon’s kids, Terrency and Tyrelle.  Spike will not allow TNA to show it, and here comes Bully Ray.  He gets into Tenay’s face, bullies Tenay.  Taz has had enough, gets in Ray’s face, and wants him to walk away.  Ray will walk away, when he wants to.  He has crossed the line Sunday, and he’s doing it now.  Ray said he taught those kids a lesson, his father is a loser, and he always will be.  Now he will walk away, and he does.

Main event time now.

Jeff Hardy retains his title when he got in Mr. Anderson’s way, threw a low blow kick without Anderson seeing it, and gave RVD the Twist of Hate.  Good match between these two, and Anderson played a good role too.

Anderson then gave Hardy a Mic Check, and when RVD got into his face, he laid him out with a Mic Check to end the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This show wasn’t that good, it had its moments, but here is the problem.  Lack of advertising.  I have no problem with TNA giving us title matches on Impact, but when it’s RVD Vs Hardy, you advertise it.  In fact, this would have been better served to be on the March 3rd episode, then tonight.  This way you have two weeks of build.  You can truly capitalize on this match, if the network is truly about “ratings” then build those shows, make them special, make that title mean something.  You can even have Mr. Anderson built up to be the special guest referee.  Having said that though, I liked the match the two had.  It’s amazing the kind of physical action Hardy went through at the PPV, then the next night, when it’s taped, he still put on a good performance.

The rest of the show had too much talking, I hated the fact that A.J. made his challenge to Flair so soon, why not build that match and make people pay for that?  However, when those two will get in the ring, it should be big.  I look forward to seeing that.  I also felt that Matt Hardy Vs A.J. should have been a longer match, and this is something that WWE does that TNA should follow.  2 long, strong matches, the main event had time, but nothing else.

I did enjoy the skits between the Jarretts and what wound up happening with Kurt.  Very fun, now that is building to the March 3rd nuptials.

But everything else was just there.  I absolutely hate they insinuated another career match though, this time with Velvet Sky.  It means nothing in Wrestling anymore, so stop it.

What were your thoughts on the show?  Email me at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com or give me your thoughts on the show.  We’ll find out if Hardy does indeed equal ratings.

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/14/11….The Wrestlemania Guest Host Is…

Before I start, I want to say this past weekend, I received the news that my bowling teammate on my Thursday night league passed away.  He was involved in an accident at home, and sadly he passed away on Saturday.  My condolences to his family, and Lloyd, you will be missed.

I also want to wish a Happy Valentine’s Day to anyone that is reading this.  I hope your day is well, and tonight, we will find out who is guest hosting Wrestlemania.  Here we go.

We are in Anaheim, California, Michael Cole and Josh Matthews are with us.  Jerry “The King” Lawler is not there, he lost his mother over the weekend and I want to give my condolences to Jerry and his family too.

Josh and Cole tell us that tonight, we find out who will be the guest host of Wrestlemania.  Rumors have been rampant, and tonight, we find out who it is.

We also have 3 matches lined up by the Raw GM.  The 6 Elimination Chamber wrestlers are involved in 3 separate, single matches.  Randy Orton will face off against Sheamus.  R-Truth will face off against John Morrison, and starting right now, CM Punk facing John Cena, there must be a winner.  If anyone from NEXUS or the EC participants come in, NEXUS will be fired (Again) and the EC participants will not be in the Chamber match.

Here comes John Cena, and he has a mic.

John is impressed by how many people are here, and it’s good to see couples on Valentine’s Day seeing some World Wrestling Entertainment.  But Wrestlemania is also in the air, and tonight, we will find out who hosts Wrestlemania.  John said it can be anyone from Lady Gaga to Sammi from Jersey Shore, but it could be John’s theory…Michael Cole.

So Cena said that Cole has a “special moment” every time he receives an email from the Raw GM.  He has a “special attraction” for The Miz and Alex Riley.  And Cole has never shown proof he is a man, Cole seems offended but Cena said don’t stand up, he looks like a Ken Doll.

But this Sunday is something bigger because we will find out who main events Wrestlemania, by winning the Elimination Chamber match.  After the year he has had, he needs this one.  He needs the Wrtestlemania moment.  In one calendar year, he was working as a slave for a group of radicals, then he was fired, he had to live on powder milk.  But then he came back and dealt with the radical group called NEXUS.  The best thing though is he gets to face the leader of NEXUS, CM Punk in the Chamber match, alone.

CM Punk said that he doesn’t need to beat Cena with the help of NEXUS, he is 2-0 against Cena in the record book.  He doesn’t need to listen to Cena run down a good Samaritan like Michael Cole, he also doesn’t need the fans to cheer for him, like Cena does.  He is still a good person, and sometimes, good things happen to good people.

Match has started.

CM Punk defeats John Cena when someone from NEXUS handed Punk a wrench from underneath the ring.  Punk nails Cena with it and hits the GTS to finish him off.  All we see is the N arm band, so we know it’s one of Punk’s friends, so CM Punk is 3-0 against John Cena.

Michael Cole and Josh Matthews welcomes us to the show and gives condolences to The King’s family for the loss of his mother.  He will be in Oakland this Sunday for his WWE Title match at Elimination Chamber.

Who is the guest host of Wrestlemania?  We will find out tonight.

This Friday, the 600th episode of Smackdown will take place.  The main event will be a 12 man tag team match between Edge, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, John Cena, R-Truth, and John Morrison taking on Dolph Ziggler, Kane, Sheamus, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and Wade Barrett.

Here comes the Royal Rumble winner Alberto Del Rio, along with Ricardo Rodriguez.  What will he have to say?

His name is Alberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrto Del Rio….but then again, you already knew that.

It doesn’t matter who wins the World Heavyweight Elimination Chamber match, because just like it’s his destiny to win the Royal Rumble, it’s his destiny to win at Wrestlemania.

You think you know me….here comes The Rated R Superstar, Edge.

He almost forgot since he was beating Dolph Ziggler the last few weeks that Alberto nailed him with a guitar two weeks ago.  Edge says Del Rio loves talking about destiny, Edge has a destiny too.

He attacks Del Rio, and Ricardo distracts him to not get speared.

Excuse me?

Vickie Guerrero comes out and she has an announcement to make.  She wants to introduce the new World Heavyweight Champion, Dolph Ziggler.  What?

They re-air the footage from this past week’s Smackdown when Edge pulled a spear, thinking Vickie didn’t see it, but she did.  So this Friday night on Smackdown, they will have the official coronation of Dolph Ziggler as the new World Champion.  With that spear, Edge loses the World Title.  Now Edge has something else to lose, his job.  She has proof that Edge did the assault on Teddy Long, and then she just laughs.  End of segment, weird.

Coming up next, WWE Diva’s Title is on the line when Eve defends her title against Natalya.

That 2-21-11 video is being played, and clearly they have The Undertaker’s shadow figure, there goes my hope of Sting.

Still to come tonight, we will find out who the host of Wrestlemania is, and we also will have Daniel Bryan facing The Miz.

Diva’s match is up now, and it’s a Lumberjill match.  The Bellas, Melina, Maryse, Alicia Fox, Gail Kim, and Tamina.

Eve retains her title with a pin.  Natalya tried to roll her up, but Eve pinned that down and covered for the pin.

Natalya shook her hands after the match, and Josh with Cole absolutely spent the entire match sitting down on Natalya.

We come back and see Rev Theory, who has their CD out tomorrow called “Justice” and they have the official theme song for Elimination Chamber.

We have a catfight now between The Bellas, Eve, and Natalya for some reason.  Maybe they have a match this Sunday.

The Chaperone trailer.

Here comes Mark Henry, ready for a match.

Or maybe not….Sheamus attacks him with 2 Brogue Kicks.

Sheamus wants to remind every “fella” in the Elimination Chamber match that is what he is capable of, and he will show Randy Orton later tonight what he can do.  The best thing here is he didn’t have his cape.

Coming up next, The Miz shoved a backstage goon on the floor, which is hilarious.  We also have a Michael Tarver sighting that the announcers haven’t seen.

The Miz taking on Daniel Bryan is coming up now.

A-Ri joins Cole and Matthews at the announce table to do commentary.

What an incredible match, the best Raw match of the year, bar none.  The Miz defeated Daniel Bryan with the Skull Crushing Finale.  The two have a tremendous chemistry here.

Miz has the mic, he gives his condolences to Jerry “The King” Lawler, and that was sincere.  But then, he says when he beats King this Sunday, he wants no excuses, he will beat him because he is The Miz, and he is awesome.

Very nice touch here, and Miz also kept it respectable by promoting their Elimination Chamber match.

Our next match is David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty taking on John Morrison and R-Truth.  Wait a second, R-Truth was supposed to go one on one against Morrison.  Yes, but the Raw GM during the commercial break changed this to a tag team match because of what took place last week when Punk sprayed hair spray in John’s eyes.

Okay, here we go.

John gave McGillicutty the Flying Chuck kick and won the match for the two good guys.  Mason Ryan tried to interfere after the match, but it didn’t work.  John sent a message to CM Punk.

Chris Jericho’s new book “Undisputed” comes out this Wednesday, go buy it.

Who is the host of this year’s Wrestlemania?  WE will find out and still to come….Randy Orton facing Sheamus.

Coming up now is the Raw Guest Host tonight, the co-star of The Chaperone, and from Modern Family, Ariel Winter.  So we have the co-star promoting the new movie, but not THE star, HHH?

Cole absolutely craps on her, nice Cole to crap on a little girl.

She is here to do the Khali Kiss Cam, Valentine’s edition.

Rhajin Sinhg said that tonight, we will do the Kiss Cam, a bit differently.  They will span through the crowd and the WWE locker room alike.

We have some funny moments here, Santino kissed Tamina, Maryse kissed Yoshi Tatsu, and William Regal kissed Zack Ryder on the cheek.

Hornswoggle came in and gave Ariel a box of chocolates, and Ariel kisses him on the cheek.

She did a good job in this segment.

We see a pan of outside, awaiting the arrival of the host to Wrestlemania.

“The Viper” Randy Orton taking on Sheamus is up next.

2-21-11 video again, so next week, “someone” is coming, and the announcers absolutely no-sell it.  I truly miss Jim Ross.

Orton Vs Sheamus now, and yes….Sheamus has that stupid cape again.

RKO…Orton wins the match in a good but rather short match.  The Viper is victorious.

After the match, NEXUS comes in and fights Orton.  Here comes John Morrison, going after Punk.  R-Truth comes in, and Cean follows through.

We see 2 RKO’s, and an Attitude Adjustment.  Teamwork done by Cena and Orton here.

A limo shows up, the door opens and a woman in heels walks in.  So the host is a woman?  We will find out next.

Justin Roberts makes the announcement, here comes the Wrestlemania Guest Host, and it is……

IF YA SMELLLLLLLL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING!!!!!!!

Oh my GAWD!!!!!  It is The Rock.

The Most Electrifying man in Sports Entertainment is here.  My god, the guy hasn’t lost his touch.

Rock has a new short to sell, and it says “I Bring It”, I might have to buy that.

For the first time in 7 years, finally….The Rock has come back to Anaheim.  Which means, finally The Rock has come back to Monday NIght Raw.  And finally, The Rock has come back home.

Before we turn it out tonight, for those that don’t know, The Rock has many different nicknames.  The Great One, The Most Elictrifying Man in Entertainment, The People’s Champ.

But he is going to speak as Dwayne, he is not here promoting  a movie, he is not here to make money, he is here to thank the fans.  He is here for them.

He wants to say thank you, he loves you, he gives you his word, he is never, ever going away.

Simply put, The Rock is back.  He wanted to do something preceded, the one thing no man has ever done, and that is to guest host Wrestlemania.  He called Vince, Vince said he knows why he called, there is only one man who can host Wrestlemania, and that man is Justin Bieber.

No Vince, Justin is cool, but he’s not the Jabroni beating, Pie eating, trailblazing running, put a foot in the metal and ride that son of a bitch til you can’t go anywhere.

So the question is who does The Rock want to see?  How about The Miz?  He says how he is awesome, if he says he is awesome, then chances are he completely sucks.

That leaves one man, one man who….

Email Sound…

Michael Cole. do not make one more step or I will come up to you and slap you so silly you can’t even taste your mouth.  You actually think people care about what the Raw GM has to say?

Well, I’ll tell you what I think….

It doesn’t matter what you think.  Sit your ass down, know your role and shut your damn mouth.  If you don’t The Rock has a Facebook page Facebook.com/Dwayne Johnson.  He’ll come up, take the computer, some of you know where he is going with this.  Shine it up real nice, turn that sum-a-bitch sideways and stick up your candy ass.

Oh this is good.

There is a man he’d like to see, a man who he thought he was cool with, he saw him grow into the company, was happy for him and when he left. he had some bad things to say about him.  He doesn’t know why, he doesn’t care why.  But we have went to the dominant Austin 3:16 to the iconic You smell what The Rock is cooking you to…..you can’t see me?  What the hell?  You can’t see me?  You come out with your bright ass orange shirt, bright ass purple shirt, you coming out, looking like a bowl of Fruity Pebbles.

The Rock said he will see The Miz at Wrestlemania, he will see John Cena at Wrestlemania, he will see the people.  He issues three guarantees.  1.  The Rock will show that he is the most electrifying man in entertainment 2.  He will layeth the Smacketh down on all their Candy Asses.  3.  The most important thing, The Rock and his millions are the People’s Champ.  He will bring it, and the fans will go to Wrestlemania and electrify the place like noone else can.  If ya smeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaa what the Rock is…..cooking.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

What a night, one of the best shows, hands down of the last 6 months and that wrapped up tonight.  The Rock still has it.  It’s fun to see him back on TV.  He has a movie coming out this summer called Fast Five, but it doesn’t matter, he is here to entertain.  My question is could we see one more match between The Rock and Cena?  It’s more realistic now then ever.

Now let’s talk about great matches here tonight.  The Miz Vs Bryan was a fantastic match, match of the year so far on TV.  Punk Vs Cena was also a good match that had some time to tell a story.

In terms of the 6 members in EC, let the cage sell the match itself.  Remember, the winner of the CHamber match gets to face either Miz or Jerry “The King” Lawler, which I am sure will be a good match too.

And who is coming to Raw on 2-21-11?  Please, the worst kept secret in our nation, we will see The Undertaker come back and the announcers aren’t putting it over.

In terms of the World Heavyweight Title, I will reserve judgment on that situation until Friday night, but did Del Rio really need to be in that scene?  What were your thoughts on Raw?  Give me an email at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com or send me a message on the site.  I did see that The Rock has a Twitter account, it is @TheRock.  You can follow me on KevinGillman.
