WWE Monday Night Raw 2/11/13…The Rock Returns To Raw
February 11, 2013 15 Comments
We are six days away from Elimination Chamber, one more step in between Wrestlemania. The Rock is scheduled to appear tonight, with he and CM Punk get one more dance this Sunday.
Grab a beverage, sit back, and relax, cause we are going to Raw.
We are live in Nashville, Tennesse. Paul Heyman is in the ring.
Heyman says this is the last time we will see him. He might be alot of things, but he will never play the victim. Everything he has done in his life, he does with great passion, and with that passion, many things sacrificed him. For 7 years, he gave everything in his power to bring us the single most entertaining product in Professional Wrestling, and Sports Entertainment, that was ECW. He came to WWE, and saw the most gifted rookie, and gave him everything, he sacrificed everything to give us “The Next Big Thing”, Brock Lesnar.
Then he saw the future in WWE, someone he knew could ecplise Bruno Sammartino’s Title reign, a man that would main event many Wrestlemanias, and that man should still be the WWE Champion, CM Punk.
He can see the future, and say something bad is going to happen, and not only would that be going against him, but that man also will happen to CM Punk. He needs to stay focused, and he has become a distraction, and that is why he is tending his resignation.
You would think when someone pours his heart and soul into this, there wouldn’t be a dry eye in the crowd, but he has as much compassion for the fans, as they do for him. The one thing he won’t miss is the WWE Universe. You see what you have driven to him?
CM Punk needs to be focused on becoming WWE Champion again, and with that statement, he will not stand in the ring with Punk, and celebrate his 455th day as WWE Champion, after he beats The Rock. And with this moment, he says goodbye.
Here comes CM Punk.
Punk wants to know what Paul is doing. Heyman says he is in Punk’s way. Vince McMahon thinks Heyman paid for The Shield to be in the way, he thinks Heyman brought Brad Maddox in, and that is his perception, he thinks he brought in Brock Lesnar.
Punk said he won’t allow him to do that, listen to the fans, they admire Heyman like he does. Heyman told Punk at day one that with the McMahons, perception is reality. If you think what Vince did at Royal Rumble was bad, think about what he will do. He doesn’t want to be a martyr, let him go.
Punk said this Sunday, all of this will go away, and he will beat The Rock, and Heyman will be in the corner of the champ, the reigning best in the world, WWE Champion, CM Punk. They are a team.
Heyman said he’s right, he will beat The Rock, and he will witness greatness, and he will be the reigning, defending, WWE Champion.
We get a big hug.
Tonight, we will hear from The Rock, live on Monday Night Raw.
Next, Mark Henry is in action.
The Great Khali is currently in the ring, waiting for Mark Henry.
Rey Mysterio is out of the Elimination Chamber match, so currently there are 3 men in the match. We hope to find out more names added to the match, tonight.
Henry nails the World’s Strongest Slam. Henry leaves the ring, but he eyes Hornswoggle.
World’s Strongest Slam….THAT’S WHAT HE DOES!!!!
Hall of Pain ceremony is in full affect.
This Friday Night Smackdown, a return match….Mark Henry Vs Randy Orton.
Tonight, Cena, Sheamus, and Ryback face 3MB.
We are live in Nashville, Tennessee. Booker T and Teddy Long discuss how impressive Mark Henry has looked.
Chris Jericho makes a wish to get into the Elimination Chamber match, Jericho is a 6-time World Heavyweight Champion, and if he can entertain, why not include him in.
Booker T tells Chris he must impress Booker to get into the match, so to do that, he must face a man that is already in the match, Daniel Bryan.
He is good, he has whiskers, and if he beats him, he’ll be one more step in becoming the 7-time….7-time….7-time World Heavyweight Champion.
On the other side, Vickie Guerrero is in her office, on the phone. Paul Heyman coes into the office, he wants her to add a stipulation to the WWE Title match this Sunday.
Vickie said she can’t do that, without Vince’s approval. The phone rings, and it’s Vince. Heyman tries to butter him up, but Vince, on speaker phone, just wants to know the stipulation.
He asks that if The Rock gets counted out, or DQ’d the WWE Title goes back to it rightfully belongs, CM Punk.
Vince wants this match in writing, and Heyman agrees to it.
Heyman tries to butter him up again, but Vince hangs up.
Daniel Bryan Vs Chris Jericho, next.
Jericho wins the match with a Code Breaker. So he is offically added to the Elimination Chamber match.
The Shield are due to appear to address the WWE Universe.
Coming up next, Cena, Sheamus, and Ryback will face 3MB.
The Westminster Dog Show can be currently seen on CNBC.
Complete squash here, with all 3 men hitting their respective finishing moves at the same time. Cena pins Jinder.
Ryback wants to feast on The Shield, Sheamus said let’s do this tonight. Cena agrees with this, so why would The Shield come to the ring, and leave themselves vulnerable. It’s a bold choice, but also a bad one. The Shield meets its maker. You want some, come get some.
We see footage from this past Friday night on Smackdown, when Big Show gets his bus all painted up.
Earlier today, Yoshi Tatsu and Alex Riley show us they are still employed.
Big Show knocks out both men to prove it.
Matt Striker is in the ring, set to interview Big Show, and as he asks him a question, Show hits the WMD on Striker.
Big Show is too angry to say anything, so he drops the mic and leaves.
We see the replay of Show knocking out Matt Striker.
The class of 2013 Hall of Fame inductees are Mick Foley, Bob Backlund, Trish Stratus, and this man….Bruno Sammartino.
The Rock is here live, tonight.
Jack Swagger is set to take on Zack Ryder. “Dirty” Dutch Mantell is coming out with Swagger. Forget that name WWE wants us to know, it’s Dutch Mantell.
Swagger wins the match with a Patriot Act.
Dutch is going by the name of Zeb Coulter.
Dutch goes on about how he doesn’t even recognize this America anymore. Swagger’s Dad and he fought together in Vietnam, and they are true patriots, and real Americans….remember…we the people.
Booker and Teddy Long are watching this backstage, it seems that Swagger is officially in the match this Sunday.
Dolph Ziggler shows up, and he is upset Chris Jericho is in the Elimination Chamber match, so he wants in the match to stop Jericho.
Booker says another man badly wants in the Chamber match, so if he beats him, he’s in. Okay, so who is Dolph’s opponent?
The Big Red Machine, Kane.
We see footage from last Monday night on Raw, and see what Brock Lesnar did to The Miz.
We get an update about Vince McMahon, he did have hip surgery, is resting at home.
Awesome…The Miz Vs Cody Rhodes, next.
This Wednesday on Main Event, The Highlight Reel returns, with Chris Jericho’s guest being The Miz.
Antonio Cesaro joins commentary for this match. Miz wins by DQ when Cesaro nails Miz, and puts him through the barricade over and over.
We go from there to the WWE for Reading video. Not sure about that format change.
We will hear from The Rock later tonight.
And The Shield, not together, but also tonight.
When we come back, we are going to see Tensai and Brodus Clay face The Colon Cousins.
Baldo Bpmb, match is iver. Tensai, Brodus, and the girls all dance, but Rosa gets into Tensai’s face. Naomi and Cameron take care of her.
But the tone will change to serious, because The Shield will speak, next.
The Shield head out to the ring. Ambrose questions the audacity of John Cena threatening The Shield? Rollins said they take care of the threats, and Reigns says if they want them, come and get them.
Nobody shows up, and they all said they are filled wioth empty promises. Cena is a failure, and they will fail this Sunday.
Ambrose said that cena lives in a bubble, this is not the real world, this is what they call The John Cena Problem. He has been the problem for the past decade. The Shield are the solution.
Rollins said whether it was his intention or not, the standard that Cena laid was what the Sheamus and Rybacks came in, they were the standard. This Sunday they have an opportunity to right the wrong, and take care of it in one full swoop.
The Shield will drown them, believe in The Shield.
Nobody shows up, and the lights go out….when they come back on, Cena, Ryback, and Sheamus are there, kicking their ass. Playing their mind games.
Cena, Ryback, and Sheamus go after The Shield and The Shield runs away.
Earlier tonight, we see Punk and Heyman, with Paul trying to resign, but Punk talked him into staying.
We will hear from The Rock, tonight.
Damien Sandow tells us we should be ashame of listening to country music, and not Beethoven….you’re welcome.
Alberto Del Rio Vs Damien Sandow, now.
Del Rio hits the Cross Arm Breaker, and Damien taps out.
Del Rio saw Big Show out earlier, and he gave us the best promo of his life. But for the first time in his life, he agrees with Show. The time for talking is over, and when he finishes Big Show this Sunday, he can take his tour bus anywhere he wants, because there is only one place Del Rio is going….Wrestlemania.
Wade Barrett is headed to the ring, he will face Kofi Kingston, next. But Bo Dallas attacks him, so will there be a match?
We have our match, and Barrett knocks out Kofi with a Bull Hammer, covering his face with the apron.
Wade wants Bo Dallas in the ring.
Next, Dolph Ziggler Vs Kane, spot in the Elimination Chamber match is on the line.
Kane wins the match with a Chokeslam after Ziggler was distracted for a second when Kane bumped into AJ.
Kane is officially in the Elimination Chamber match, with Jack Swagger, Team Hell No, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, and Mark Henry.
Coming up next, the WWE Champion, The Rock.
We see an Elimination Chamber video playing.
The Rock comes out, this is a very special night. Not only are we sold out, but finally….The Rock has come back to Nashville.
Nashville is very special to The Rock. You want to know why? It’s story time with The Rock.
In 1987, a 15-year old Rock moved to Nashville. Rock signed to high school, McGavin High School. But Rock still wasn’t an ordinary 15-year old, he was 6’4. But The Rock still didn’t get any play from the women, because the women thought he was an undercover cop.
So instead, a 15-year old Rock hung out with Downtown Bruno in a bar. The door opens up, and in comes a Crackhead. The crackhead was selling a $15 car, and Rock was the only one that fell for it. Because car=women, so at 15 years old, he paid for the car, and drove off. He heard a noise in the backseat, it was another crackhead. So he parked the car, and kicked him out of the car. Rock realized something here, this car might have been stolen. So he did what any 15-year old would do, wait until 2:00 in the morning, and park it in Burger King, and walk back to Tootsie’s Bar.
The Rock said we have two life lessons in this….1. Don’t ever buy a car from a crackhead. 2. Don’t do the things The Rock did when he was 15.
He finally grew up at the age of 25, and wrestled his first match at the Nashville Fairgrounds.
He will retain the WWE Title, beat CM Punk this Sunday, and head to Wrestlemania as the WWE Champion.
Here comes CM Punk, along with Paul Heyman.
The last time he saw the two of them together, they reenacted a scene from Twilight.
He dares Punk to come to the ring, and they can settle this like two men.
Punk pretends not to go to the ring, but he does. The fight is on, but Heyman trips Rock’s feet, and Punk nails him with a GTS.
Punk picks up the WWE Title, and he walks away with the title.
Story time is over Rock. He wants him to understand one thing, everytime he wants to bring it, because it belongs to him, he will just take it.
Punk Vs Rock II, this Sunday, the show is over.
