WWE Superstars 9/16/10…Straight Baller Vs Straight Edge

3 days away from Night of Champions, how will Superstars treat that road?  We will find out now, I am invincible tonight…

We start the show off with the Raw team of Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler.  Maybe Cole will walk away from Superstars because he is “beneath” the show, like he did Tuesday night on NXT?  Okay, wishful thinking, so let’s go on with the show.

They air footage from 2 weeks ago when Tamina kissed Santino’s boo-boo, the “Cobra” hand.

So, Santino and Vladmir Kozlov will indeed face off against The Uso’s.

Santino and Vladdy win their match by an Iron Curtain with Kozlov.  Tamina is in the ring, she wants to know how you do a Cobra move, so Santino shows her, strange music and all.   Santino tries to kiss Tamina’s arm, but it didn’t seem to work. Maybe next time, Santino.  Her temptations will give in to you.

NXT rewind, with the segment ended with Michael Cole quitting.

The Great Khali is in the backstage area and is ready to fight, that will take place, next.

The Punjabi Giant comes out to the ring.  He will face off with Primo.  Yeah, this match is going to last awhile.

Poor Primo, he was squashed and lost with the Punjabi Plunge.

A very nice showcasing video about Randy Orton is played, and after that, Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to the show.

We now check out the history of Kane and the Undertaker.

Main event time, MVP will be taking on Luke Gallows, it’s coming up next.

Luke Gallows has the mic, and that might not be a good thing.

He says he is better than all of us, and he will prove he is better, by beating MVP.  He called him a “party hero” and MVP was happy with that, because it means he starts parties.  He does a bad rap and then tried to come up with a nickname for him, he chose “LG”, but that did not work, although it’s better than what the locker room guys call him…Big Dummy.  Regardless at the end of the match, Luke will be straight up ballin’.

MVP wins the match after he hits the Playmaker on Luke.  He tries to help out Gallows and Luke didn’t like that idea, he turned to attack MVP, MVP caught him and gave him the Play of the Day.  Now Gallows is straight up ballin’.  That ends the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

A very average show, I was expecting to see divas, since they weren’t showcased on Monday night, but not to be.  Main event was fine, but the ring work was less than the promo work.  Tag Team match was fine, but the story was on Tamina and her undying love for Santino.  Khali Vs Primo was a modified squash match, and that was the show.  Very disappointing.
