WWE NXT 11/23/10….Another One Bites The Dust

I want to wish each and every single one of you a Happy Thanksgiving, and a great holiday weekend.  With Christmas right around the corner, don’t forget about me on Friday when you go shop, okay I am kidding there, but if you do go shopping, please be careful that day, and take your time.

We start this week’s NXT with video showcasing Aksana leaving last week, and here we go.

Michael Cole starts the show off by telling us “Two weeks until we end this thing”, yup, not one diva is going to be put over in this competition.

Someone is getting eliminated tonight, and we have Matt Striker welcome the Rookie Divas.

Let’s play some WWE Trivia, there is no immunity and someone will be eliminated.

Round 1, all things NXT.

A.J. leads round 1 with 300 points, Naomi has 100, and Kaitlyn has 0 points.  The announcers are playing video games during this segment.

Round 2, all things WWE

A.J. dominates this contest all the way through.  The funny thing is Kaitlyn actually sounded her horn before A.J. did a few times, but Striker kept going to A.J.  Next time, don’t use blow horns for answers.

Match time, Kaitlyn taking on Nikki Bella, coming up next.

Nikki wins with a Sitout Facebuster.  Nikki was certainly the heel here, even talking trash to Kaitlyn, I’ll say this again, it doesn’t serve any purpose having a rookie lose to a pro every single week, but whatever.

They show John Cena’s “goodbye” from this past Monday night on Raw.

Naomi taking on A.J. is up now, this could be a good match.

Match of the season, A.J. wins with the Octopus, even Cole got into this match a bit, maybe a bit overkill, but still.  A fun match, and these two should be in the finals.

Coming up next, Last Sumo Standing Competition.  Good gravy.

The rookies come out to big sumo suites and are bouncing to the ring.  A.J. earned a bye into the final round for winning the trivia contest, and the diva who gets out of the circle, loses the match.

Kaitlyn and Naomi is in first.

Kaitlyn eliminated Naomi, rather easily.

Kaitlyn eliminated A.J in the finals to win the round.

Raw Rebound, The Miz becoming the new WWE Champion, an awesome ending and the Era of Awesome has begun.

Elimination is coming up next.

A.J. is eliminated in a rather shocker.  She said it’s time that WWE sees a Diva representing every girl out there, and that is who she is.  She will be back somehow or another.  So next week, the finale will be Kaitlyn and Naomi and that ends the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This is my problem with today’s Women’s Wrestling, there aren’t any valets anymore, they all must wrestle, even if they don’t have the natural talent to do so.  I truly think Kailtyn’s best spot is a valet, nothing wrong with that because valets have made their mark in the business too, but why must every Diva or Knockout wrestle?  Use the women in the best possible spot available.  I truly would have loved to see the 2 best women Wrestlers battle it out in the finale next week.  A.J. will certainly find her mark in WWE though, and maybe she will be better served as a diva, rather than NXT Season 3 winner?  What were your thoughts of the show?  Email me at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com or drop me a line on the site.
