WWE Superstars 11/25/10…Thanksgiving Edition

I hope you guys had a great and safe Thanksgiving and before you all go down to the mall for Black Friday (Notice I said you, and not me), then let’s check out WWE Superstars, where anything can happen.

Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to the show, and we get Curt Hawkins taking on Trent Barreta.  These are the two men standing from The Dudebusters and Gate Crashers, respectively.  Hey, that is Ashley Valence being the ring announcer.  Welcome back Ashley.  Here we go with the match.

Heck of a match here with Curt Hawkins pinning Trent with a Neckbreaker.  A fun match between these two, and now the series is tied at 1-1.  I would have no problem seeing a best of 7 series with these two, exclusively on Superstars.

Oh great, John Cena’s speech about going home, but did you know on Twitter this week, he stated he “bought” a ticket for Raw?

Scott Stanford and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to their rendition of Superstars this week.

Santino and Vladimir Kozlov are in the ring, they will face off against Zack Ryder and Primo….IT’S THE RETURN OF THE LATIN RYDERS!!!!!!

Santino and Kozlov won with the Cobra.  This was a decent tag team match actually.  But what cracked me up was this line of dialogue.

Scott:  Isn’t that a RKO?
King:  No, it’s a variation of a Stunner.

Ummmm, isn’t a RKO a variation of a Stunner?

Our main event tonight is Mark Henry taking on The Uso’s in a Handicap match.

Our season finale is this coming Tuesday.  NXT Season 3 between Naomi and Kaitlyn.  Who is going to win?  Voting is still taking place on WWE.com.

Raw Rebound from last week’s Raw, which had an AWESOME ending and we have a new WWE Champion.  Let the Era of AWESOME begin now.  Cleveland’s own The Miz won the title.

Mark Henry taking on The Uso’s in a Handicap match is taking place now.

Mark wins with the World’s Greatest Slam, ouch that looked painful.  Mark is celebrating when we go off the air, and don’t forget, this coming Monday we will see a 3 hour show of King of the Ring.  It starts at 8PM/7 Central.  See if John Cena enters the building with a “ticket” what is The Miz’s speech going to be like?  Tune in and find out.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Tonight was a fine show that featured 2 very good young and upcoming Wrestlers, with Trent Barreta and Curt Hawkins.  Let’s hope they go somewhere between these two.  The rest of it was fine, although it does show you the focus they have for the upcoming 3 hour Raw.  I am liking what I see so far.  Tonight, featured a night of rematches.  I wouldn’t have a problem seeing more rematches for next week.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Give me an email at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com or give me your thoughts on the site.  Have a good weekend.
