WWE Superstars 5/26/11…Tyson Has A New Manager

We are live…not really on the internet tonight, we are kicking these off on the Raw side, with Scott Stanford and Josh Matthews welcoming us.

Santino is facing our number on Superstar….Zack Ryder….Woo Woo Woo…you know it, bro.

Santino wins the match with a Cobra.  The wrestler formerly known as Nunzio is the ref here, it looks like he is back with WWE.

Awesome video tribute now on Randy “Macho Man” Savage is being shown now.

JTG is in a match now, he will take on Curt Hawkins, and the match is on now.

Curt wins with the Heat Seeking Missile, a heck of a match here between these two.  Curt certainly has gotten better the last year as a performer.  I like what he brings to the table.

Our main event tonight is Tyson Kidd taking on Trent Barreta.

Raw Rebound featuring Alberto Del Rio and Big Show.  Don’t give Ricardo Rodriguez the keys to your car anytime soon.

Matt Striker and Jack Korpela welcome us to their part of the show, Big Show will be out for awhile it seems.

Tyson Kidd comes out with his new manager, the returning Armando Estrada.  He said not only is he a smart businessman, but he has the greatest sports mind in the WWE since Bobby “The Brain” Heenan.  When he sees an opportunity knocking at it’s door, he answers it, and who better than the last graduate of the famed Hart Dungeon family than Tyson Kidd.  And because the fans are not showing the man his just due, is appaling.

Tyson Kidd Vs Trent Barreta is next.

Tyson Kidd defeated Trent with a Fisherman’s Suplex.  We saw a Flying Elbow from Tyson, he put a Sharpshooter on Trent, and when it was all said and done, Tyson pinned him with the Fisherman’s Suplex.

Armando ends the program by seeing what we just witnessed is when an Athletic speciman is paired up with an intellectual genius, and all is happy in the Tyson Kidd camp.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

If we go by what we saw tonight, it seems that Michael Hayes is so busy writing Smackdown, that they bring in a former manager who can speak and truly put over his talent.  Nothing wrong with that, they also dropped the Alejandro name, which is good since he used to get a pop when he managed Umanga, so he did this more straight tonight.

Strong main event here between Tyson and Trent.  I truly hope they have plans for Tyson because now he has a manager to talk for him, and he can do his talking in the ring by wrestling.  Use him on Smackdown, not exclusively on Superstars.

Another person that needs to be upgraded is Curt Hawkins.  Also give credit to JTG, he had some good matches on Smackdown’s version of Superstars, and tonight was no different.

Santino Vs Ryder was fine for what it was, but we know these two can do more too.

Overall, a good episode tonight, much better than recent weeks.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Give me an email at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com or drop me a line on the site.
