WWE Monday Night Raw 12/3/12…Tonight’s Main Event…A Lie Detector Test

Tonight, we have a big tag team match set, with John Cena, and Sheamus will face Dolph Ziggler, and Big Show.

Is The Shield protecting CM Punk?  Let’s tune in, and find out….now.

We are live in Greensboro, North Carolina.  Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to the show.

We kick off with Team Hell No, while The Shield is watching on from the suite.  Kane challenges the three men to come out to the ring now, and they will give them something to fight about.

Team Hell No is facing Prime Time Players, now.

There are rumors flying around that Mr. McMahon will show up some time tonight.

Team Hell No win the match when Daniel rolls up Darren Young, putting Kane on the outside.  The Shield run to the ring, and attack both men.  Putting Kane’s arm into a steel post.  And putting Daniel in a Powerbomb, by Reigns.  They leave the ring, and head through the crowd, again.

Sheamus and John Cena are backstage, sharing jokes.

AJ Lee wrestles, next.

AJ Lee is wrestling Tamina Snuka, with absolutely no buildup at all.

AJ wins with a rollup.

While King and Cole talk, here comes Paul Heyman and CM Punk.

In two weeks, Punk and Ryback in a TLC match, and he speaks next.

Heyman and Punk have the updated WWE Encyclopedia, Heyman informs us that after 12 Midnight, Punk will tie John Cena’s record, and tomorrow night at 12 Midnight, Punk will surpass him.  Yet, he is not on the center of WWE Encyclopedia.

Punk has the mic now, and says he proves every night he is the best in the world, he is the reason we all watch WWE Monday Night Raw, yet every day that passes, people like to credit The Shield for keeping his title.  He has nothing to do with The Shield, he had nothing to do with Brad Maddox.  If you don’t like Punk, then get up and leave.  Change the channel, and come back in 5 minutes.

Here comes The Miz.

Miz says for everyone to stay, not to leave.  Punk asks who the hell he thinks he is, Miz responds he is the man who cheated his way when he was the WWE Champion, he was the one who did whatever he could to win, but at least he admitted it.  Everyone knows he is involved with Brad Maddox, and The Shield.

Punk says if he wants to wrestle, he can do it anytime, and Miz challenges him to be a part of the Must-See talk show, Miz TV.  He wants Punk to take a lie detector test, and determine if he is telling the truth or not.

Heyman confirms that Miz wants Punk to get on a live mic, and talk about how he feels about Miz?  Is he sure that is what he wants?

Miz answers that he doesn’t need a walrus to speak, and now we have a walrus chant.  Miz tells Punk he is giving him something he has been wanting for so long, an opportunity to prove he is the best in the world, unless Punk continues to want an asteric next to his 380 days as WWE Champion.

Punk says it’s on, and he will show everyone with a mic, or not that he is the best in the world.

Coming up next, our big tag team match with Sheamus and John Cena taking on Big Show and Dolph Ziggler.

Our big tag team match is up, now.

Cena and Sheamus win the match, when Sheamus nails Show with White Noise, and Cena hit Attitude Adjustment on Ziggler.

Very impressive, even if Ziggler never should have been pinned here.

Earlier tonight, we have Miz challenge CM Punk to take a lie detector test, on Miz TV.

The Muppets will appear with Flo Rida, on Tribute to the Troops.

Damien Sandow heads to the ring.  He will not, and can not abandon us.  He has decided to give one of us the opportunity to be his apprentice.

He brings someone into the ring, and challenge him to a set of questions.

Question one, H2O is the chemical substance to what?  Water.

Question two, who was the first President of the United States?  George Washington.

But the third question was answered wrongly, so he is not his apprentice.  Damien believes he should leave the United States.

Santino Marella has a question, how many seashells does she sell by the seashore?

Damien answers it wrongly, and Damien knocks Santino down, we will have a match, when we come back.

Damien wins with The End, cartwheels for everyone.

Dolph Ziggler blames Big Show for his loss, and now wants a one on one match with Cena, at TLC.  Vickie Guerrero agrees to it, and when they go to kiss, Vickie stops him, and she sees that Brad Maddox is in her office.  Brad ensures Vickie that he is here to remind everyone that we all will not forget the name of Brad Maddox.

Vickie needs to give Brad Maddox a WWE contract.  He denies that Punk had anything to do with what he did.  She knows talent, and has a reputation for it, and there is nobody more entertaining than Brad Maddox.

Vickie agrees to a match tonight, to fight for Brad’s contract.  But who is his opponent?  He’ll find out, but she promises him it will be great TV.

Brad knows, because he’ll be on it.

Alberto Del Rio Vs Sin Cara is up now.

Del Rio wins with a Cross Arm Breaker.

Mr. McMahon is here, he tells a stagehand he wants to see Vickie Guerrero, in the ring, now.

I guess that is up next.

Earlier tonight, we get a challenge from The Miz, on CM Punk.  It’s not a match, but rather a lie detector test.

Vickie Guerrero comes out, to introduce Mr. McMahon.

Vince puts down Vickie, and he wants to know if Vickie has anything in store for TLC.  She proposes Ziggler Vs Cena at TLC.  Vince says that’s a good one, but she has to make it bigger.  Vickie calls it a No DQ match, and he whispers in her ear, and she calls it a ladder match?

But neither are champions, and to make it a ladder match, you must put something monumental on the line.

How about a Money in the Bank Briefcase?

Vickie says that Cena can gain everything, and Ziggler can lose everything, so it’s unfair.

Unfair?  How about this farce you made about AJ Lee, and John Cena.  It’s unfair for those two.

Okay, Ziggler Vs Cena, in a ladder match.

Okay, Vince, thank you for coming over.

But Vince isn’t done yet, we have a lie detector test tonight.  So what happens if Punk is lying all this time?  Nobody likes a liar, so what are we going to do about this?

Vickie said that Punk is a Heyman guy, so if Punk lies, he needs to be punished, so because of that, if he lies, next week, we will have Heyman Vs Ryback.

Brad Maddox is in the ring, he is facing Randy Orton.

Orton knocks him out with a RKO.  Orton is knocked down by The Shield.

Miz TV will be later tonight, CM Punk taking a Lie Detector test.

Vickie is greeting all of the men she had issues with.  Dolph Ziggler, Paul Heyman is here, and Vikki told him to be careful Punk does not lie, or else he will be fed to Ryback.

Our next match is R-Truth and Kofi taking on Cesaro and Wade Barrett.

But wait, there is more….Teddy Long comes out, and changes the match to a Fatal 4-way, and the WWE Universe made the call to have Antonio’s United States Title on the line.

Antonio won with the Neutralizer, pinning Kofi Kingston.

Our main event, the lie detector test is coming up, next.

Miz comes out, and he introduces CM Punk, who is being buckled up, to tell the truth.  First question, what is his name?  He lied, his name is Phil Brooks, and not CM Punk.

The 2nd question is does he think he can beat Ryback, at TLC?  Yes, but the numbers were so high, he could be lying.

Okay, some tougher questions, did Punk get his head shaved by Rey Mysterio at Over the Edge in 2010?  Yes.

While Miz main evented at Wrestlemania, Punk was getting beat by whom?

While Orton and Punk tore the roof off at Mania, Dwayne helped Miz out, and Miz doesn’t even remember it, because he was concussed.

Are you a part of Brad Maddox and The Shield helping you out?

Before Punk could answer, The Shield attacked Miz, and here comes Team Hell No, but the numbers get the best of them.

Enter Ryback.

Rybackl takes care of business, cleaning the ring, and now is faced against Punk.  Punk gets through a table, and we have a TLC match in the horizon, closing the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

It’s becoming clear more and more that The Shield has something special for them.  The question becomes at what point do The Shield take out Punk?  You know its bound to happen at some point.

Another Ziggler lost, to John Cena.  Just have Ziggler call Cena his Daddy, because that’s how it seems.  And now, I see the wonderboy cash in his breifcase, and this time wins.

Everything was just there.  I think the big issue is 3 hours.  Something has to give here, either that or give us something monumental to work.  What did you think of this show?  Send me your thoughts here.
