Snooki is the Social Media Ambassador tonight, The Miz shows up, congratulating her on being a Mom. She wants to know what she should tweet. Wade Barrett shows up, and says how about he is the greatest intercontinental Champion of all time, and he should not even be sharing the same space with 2 reality show rejects. The Miz suggests she tweet that The Miz is about to win the Intercontinental Title tonight.

Tonight, they face each other in the ring, just moments away.

Josh and Matt show us video of Mark Henry Vs Ryback, which is later tonight.

Renee Young is with Mark Henry. Tonight is a special night for Ryback. Not only is this his first Wrestlemania match, but he will join the Hall of Pain.

Jim Ross, Dream, and Kofi analyze this match….this will be two monsters heading in the ring.

Met Life Stadium is rocking, and we have a good start to Wrestlemania 29.

The Miz winning the IC Title shows that we can expect everything tonight.

The panel is discussing The Rock Vs John Cena II tonight. Is this a must-win match for John Cena?

The Rock Vs John Cena video is playing, and this is my cue to step down. We are 5 minutes away from Wrestlemania. Keep refreshing this page, as I will give you updates throughout the night. Wrestlemania is among us…

Here we go.

They show us footage from October 29th, when hurricane Sandy swept away, and hit New Jersey. America stood united, and the human spirit lives on. These are the people who make us proud….the people of New York, the people of New Jersey. Unstoppable, and Governor Chris Christie welcomes us to Wrestlemania.

We are live in Met Stadium, the heart of New Jersey. The New Jersey guard are holding the colors, in front of a record 80,000 people expecting Wrestlemania.

This is Wrestlemania video, and now WWE proudly presents Wrestlemania 29.

The fans at Met Life Stadium welcome us, with Michael Cole, Jerry “The King” Lawler, and JBL welcoming us to the show.

We kick the show off with a 6-man tag match of Sheamus, Big Show, and Randy Orton Vs The Shield.

The Shield wins the match with a spear on Orton, after Randy gave a blind tag to Sheamus, cutting The Big Show. Orton hit a mid-air RKO on Rollins, and Reigns comes in and lands a spear, with Ambrose picking up the win.

The team beats individuals.

Now Orton and Show get into each other’s faces, and Big Show nails two WMDs on both Sheamus and Orton, leaving the ring by himself.

Michelle Beadle is impressed, who is sitting behind the announce booth.

Tonight, WWE Title is on the line….The Rock Vs John Cena. Legacy vs Redemption.

Snooki is in the house, and our next match is Ryback Vs Mark Henry.

Mark Henry wins the match when Ryback had Mark set up for Shell Shock, but Mark leveraged himself on the ropes, and landed on Ryback’s head, knocking him out for the pin, and win.

Mark tries to put Ryback in the Hall of Pain after the match, but Ryback counters with a spinebuster, and then Shell Shock.

Feed him more.

WWE is now proud partners of the Special Olympics.

Lilian Garcia welcomes us to members of the Special Olympic athletes, Stephanie McMahon, and New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie.

Our next match is for the WWE Tag Team Championship, Team Hell No Vs Big E. Langston and Dolph Ziggler.

Team Hell No retain their Tag Team Titles with a Chokeslam, and a Flying Headbutt, Daniel pinning Dolph.

The crowd is chanting Yes, it’s riveting to hear.

Fandango’s music is playing, with many female dancers dancing to his tune. And here he comes, with his dance partner that doesn’t have a name.

His name? Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnndaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaangoooooooooooooooooooo.

We hear Chris Jericho many times make fun of Fandango’s name, and see footage from last Monday night when Fandango attacked Jericho after putting the Walls on Antonio Cesaro.

Here comes Y2J, will we have a match?

This is Fandango’s official first match.

Fandango wins with a rollup. Jericho seemed to hurt his knee, and he couldn’t hook the Walls, but the young kid found a way to roll Jericho up, and win his first match.

A good match here, which should continue tomorrow night.

The Miz is the new Intercontinental Champion, beating Wade Barrett earlier tonight in the pre-show.

immediately following tonight’s show, we can catch the WWE Wrestlemania post-show on WWE.com, Facebook, and the Youtube channel.

A video is showing talking about The Rock’s connection with the fans. I am one of the millions.

The intermission portion of the show now, with Diddy in concert.

Next, World Heavyweight Championship match is set….”Real American” Jack Swagger will face Alberto Del Rio.

Alberto Del Rio retains the World Title, making Jack tap out to the Cross Arm Breaker.

Michael Strahan is in attendance, and he is having a great time. Salute the troops now, with the New Jersey Guard in attendance.

Our next match is CM Punk Vs. The Streak….The Undertaker.

Living Colour is live performing Punk’s entrance, but they are looking old.

The Undertaker wins in what was an incredible match with a second Tombstone Piledriver. The match was everything, and then some. Hands down the best match of the night, and quite possibly the best match of the entire night.

We had Punk lay a GTS, Anaconda Vice, we also had a Hell’s Gate sighting, a Randy Savage elbow drop off the Spanish Announce table that did not break, an urn shot to the head by Punk on Taker. And Paul Heyman stirring the pot so to speak.

Now, the big matches have taken place.

21-0!!!

John Cena video now showing his dedication to the business. he says his time is now, and I say his time has been going on for 8 years, but whatever.

Brock Lesnar Vs HHH is up now.

I almost forgot, Shawn Michaels is going to be in HHH’s corner.

HHH wins the match with a Sledgehammer shot, followed by a Pedigree on the steel steps. HHH had Brock in a Kimura Lock three times, but Brock used the steel steps to break out, but in one of the times, he knocked himself out with the step. Paul Heyman tried to help, but Shawn laid Heyman out with Sweet Chin Music.

Fine match, but they should have placed this before the Punk vs Taker match, because the crowd didn’t care much until the end.

HHH’s career continues, but HHH doesn’t wrestle much, for whatever that means.

WWE Extreme Rules on May 19th.

Pain and Gain movie trailer is being shown.

The WWE Hall of Fame is being shown now, and the inductees will come out.

Wrestlemania 30 is in New Orleans, and will take place on Sunday, April 6th, 2014.

Justin Roberts is telling us 80,676 people are at Met Life Stadium.

Well, our main event is up now….The Rock Vs John Cena for the WWE Title, which means Brodus and Sweet Tee teaming up with the Funkadactyls Vs Bella Twins and Team Rhodes Scholars won’t happen. That means they can put on a 30 minute Instant Classic match on Raw tomorrow night.

John Cena wins the WWE Title for the 11th time, pinning Rock with an Attitude Adjustment. Unfortunately, no heel turn. Cena hugged and shook Rock’s hand after the match, allowed him to have his moment with the crowd, then saluted him on the top of the ramp, to end the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Say what you will about Mania as a product, one of the best PPVs year round, one of the biggest spectacles. Every show can’t compare to Mania, and tonight was no exception.

But there was a problem….

Nothing historic happened. Cena clearly stated Monday night that something “historic” would happen, so he lied. Because everything was predictable, no Cena turn, and sadly, it will never happen. I should never set myself hope for that again.

I loved Undertaker Vs. Punk match, a very fun encounter, and surely it made the show. I liked HHH vs Lesnar too, and for what it’s worth the main event delivered, even if the ending was wrong.

The question now is where do we go from here. I guess we will get the answers tomorrow night on Raw. What did you think of the show? Did they mess their mark at the end? Would a heel Cena make a difference? Let me know, I will talk to you tomorrow night.

From everything I’ve read, this was a terrible Wrestlemaina, essentially a $70 version of Raw..I knew Punk/Taker would deliver..but how can you promote a match for Wrestlemania, and then screw up and not have it, even though those involved–ATain and the other fat guy–had no business being on the card in the first place? And its not the first time it happened…and having Miz and Barrett on a pre show was a slap in the face to both guys..

Just unfortunate that Rybotch wasn’t seriously hurt..would have been excellent to see that fraud totally exposed…

I’ll wait and buy the DVD..

    • I just want to know at what point did they realize they won’t have enough time for the match. I understand it, because you want the three big matches to have as much time as they need. But it felt the main event was short. I mean they rushed the entrances, and still the PPV was done with a little more than 10 minutes. I guess they don’t ever want to pull a “Halloween Havoc 1998” on there. However, Barrett vs Miz should have been longer, since they had a 60 minute pre-show. The match, what it was lasted for about 5 minutes.
