WWE Monday Night Raw 1/12/15…Triple Threat Signing

Tonight, we are in New Orleans, the home of Wrestlemania 30.  We still have no intro video for the show, which bothers me for some reason.  Michael Cole, JBL, and Booker T welcome us to the show, when John Cena comes out.

Cena is mad, it seems with The Authority for firing Ziggler, Rowan, and Ryback.  He wants the fans to speak out, going to social media and hashtag Authority Sucks.  If that doesn’t work, then at Royal Rumble, Cena will go there, win the WWE World Title, and go home, holding the title hostage, sort of like what Lesnar is doing now.  And vows to not return until The Authority bring back Ziggler, Rowan, and Ryback.

This brings back The Authority.

They mock him for taking his ball and going home, calling him selfish and deep down, he is selfish and doesn’t want them back at all.  HHH made this clear, they had consequences if they sided with him, they knew the risk and they still took it.  They hated to fire them, and Cena finally spoke, and said they decided in two seconds.

HHH makes a deal if Cena can win his match tonight, all three men can have their jobs back.  Cena suggests if he is going to be in a Handicap match.  HHH assured him that is not the case, he will have to face Seth Rollins, in a Lumberjack match.

Cena Vs Rollins is up now.

Rollins pins Cena, after Big Show knocks out Cena.  The lumberjacks were all heels that had history with Cena at one point or another.

Tonight, there will be a contract signing for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Royal Rumble.  Also, Daniel Bryan will be here, live on Raw.

We come back backstage, with Stephanie talking with The Uso’s, and here comes Dean Ambrose.

Last week on Smackdown, The Uso’s had some negative remarks about The Authority, and Stephanie told them this isn’t about them, its about Cena.  And please tell Jimmy’s wife, Naomi she has a match with her arm behind her back tonight.

As for Dean, he checked himself out of the hospital last week, and did some abnormal things.  So she has a psychiatrist to see if he is mentally stable to compete in the Royal Rumble.

The Miz and Mizdow share their Global Globe thoughts, maybe one day, George Clooney can win a Slammy?

Dean is on the edge here, and the good therapist tells him to relax, and reflect.  He sets a clock, and the clock keeps ticking when we go to a break.

Smackdown moves to Thursday this Thursday night, with Daniel Bryan’s in-ring return.

The New Day Vs Tyson Kidd and Cesaro is up now.

The New Day win the match, the team os Xavier Woods and Kofi are victorious.

This story was broken earlier by TMZ, Randy “Macho Man” Savage is the first inductee into the 2015 Hall of Fame.

Tonight, Triple Threat Title match contract signing.  Cena, Lesnar, and Rollins in the ring at the same time.

The Indianapolis Colts celebrated their upset victory last night “Ric Flair” style….WOOOOOOOOO.

Next week is a Raw Reunion, featuring the return of Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, and Scott Hall.

The Big Show comes to the ring.

Big Show talks about being a giant, things come easy for him.  The Giant beat Hulk Hogan for the World Heavyweight Championship on his first day, because it was easy.

He calls us losers, because I guess fans were chanting boring.  Deep down inside, we don’t want competition.  He is talking about seeing the new guy at the job, did you give him a fake smile, because he is there to take your spot.  Which brings him to Roman Reigns.

He doesn’t think Roman as competition.  He refers him as the New York Knicks, who are on a 15-game losing streak.  When Show gets his hands on Roman, he knocks him out, then send him back to the seats with Spike Lee, while Show dominates everyone else.

Roman Reigns is a loser, and if we are fans, we are losers too.

Here comes Reigns.

Big Show gets out of the ring, and walks up the ramp.

Reigns isn’t a threat to Show, because he doesn’t want his spot.  Reigns remembers Show winning the WCW World Title, he was 12 years old, at the time.

Reigns now gives Show a story, about Roman Reigns and The Beanstalk.

Vince McMahon wrote another cheesy promo for Roman.

Now comes Reigns’ opponent, Luke Harper.

Reigns wins a competitive match with a spear.  Big Show assaults Reigns, and knocks him out,

Earlier tonight, John Cena had a chance to win back Ziggler, Rowan, and Ryback’s job, but he loses to Rollins in a Lumberjack Match.

Tonight, a WWE World Heavyweight Championship contract signing between Cena, Rollins, and Lesnar.

Also, Daniel Bryam is here tonight and next, it will be Naomi, wrestling with one arm behind her back facing Alicia Fox.

More from The Miz and Mizdow.

Naomi Vs Alicia Fox, now.

Alicia wins the match, with a kick to the head, followed by an axe kick.

More drama with Dean Ambrose and the therapist.  Word associations with pictures.

HHH- Irritable Balve Syndrome.

Rollins- Scumbag

Reigns- Brotha

Kane- Toothpaste

Hacksaw Jim Duggan- HOOOOOOOOOOOO

Now that was funny.

We are live in new Orleans, and we now hear from the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman.

Ladies and gentlemen, his name is Paul Heyman.  And it is with great pleasure he returns to the scene of the crime.  282 days ago, millions of people laid witness to this….

The streak was conquered, and we see footage of this.

The death of a myth, the end of a legacy, the rise of a beast.  It all happened in one moment, when The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania was conquered by his client, Brock Lesnar.

His client does not want to talk about the past, but his client held the NCAA Division I Heavyweight Championship, the undisputed UFC World Title, and the WWE World Heavyweight Title.  Now it’s tough to proclaim 2 of those 3, but his client has all 3.

Heyman loves to talk about the past, which means he has great glee to tell us his client, Brock Lesnar conquered The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania.  It burns the fans, but it’s still a reality.

Heyman talks about the marketing of Then, Now, and Forever, yet the reality is Brock Lesnar.

The Undertaker’s Undefeated Streak at Wrestlemania will last forever, fantasy.  The reality?  Brock Lesnar conquered the Undefeated streak at Wrestlemania.  John Cena’s flag of Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect will last forever.  That’s fantasy, Brock Lesnar is the reality.

Now, Seth Rollins is being called the future of WWE, and he has been added to the Triple Threat match at Royal Rumble.  Tonight, a contract signing, all three men, all at the same time.  His client, Brock Lesnar will explain the difference between fantasy and reality, face to face to curbstomping face.

Tonight, “Macho Man” Randy Savage is expected to be announced as the first inductee into the 2015 Hall of Fame.

More impersonations from the WWE wrestlers.

The Miz Vs Jey Uso, one on one.

The Miz, with some unintentional interference by Mizdow, The Miz wins with a Skull Crushing Finale.

Next Monday, the WWE Network is coming to the UK.

Daniel Bryan is next.

Daniel Bryan heads to the ring.

Last April, Daniel won the WWE World Title at Wrestlemania 30, in New Orleans.

He still gets such a unique ovation, he needs to win the Rumble.

Daniel feels something big happened the last time he was in New Orleans, but he can’t remember what it was.  Oh yeah, he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Wrestlemania.

2 weeks ago, he declared his intentions of entering the Royal Rumble.  But it’s only fitting to say he is going to win the Royal Rumble match, and main event this year’s Wrestlemania.

And he doesn’t care what The Authority will say.

Enter Stephanie McMahon.

She offers him a copy of WWE Fit series on DVD, featuring Stephanie.  For some reason, Daniel doesn’t want it.

Stephanie reminds him that after Daniel won the title, reality came crashing down.  And this is what she remembers.

Footage of Kane destroying Daniel, last April.

Stephanie tells Daniel a true champion must find a way to stay on top.  He has been gone for 8 months, the fans believe in him, Brie believes in him, but does he truly believe in himself?  Deep down in his heart, does he believe in himself?

Go ahead Steph, we know she wants to get involved in the Yes Movement….HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Daniel is an average joe, but he never was born with a silver spoon in her mouth growing up.  He has worked, crawled, scratched his way to the top, and he will still keep on fighting, just to prove her wrong, yet again.

People with silver spoons, as he says, have higher education, which means you must use your head.  Daniel Bryan’s first match won’t be at Royal Rumble.  It will be this Thursday on Smackdown, against a man Daniel is very familiar with….

The two men start to fight, and Daniel does a flying tope through the ropes.

Daniel survived this test, this Thursday night, it continues.

Seth Rollins is backstage with J & J Security, bragging about pinning Cena.  He is confronted by Brock Lesnar.

Brock said he is the man who pinned Cena tonight?  He is the weasel who weasels his way into the World Title match?

Seth is the future of WWE, and Brock tells him he is the future when Brock says he can be.

Heyman intervenes, and says while it’s impressive Seth pinned Cena, maybe they can work again down the road, but at Royal Rumble, they face each other for the WWE World Title.  Perhaps they can work together to take Cena out, and face each other?

Official contract signing is tonight.

Paige Vs Brie Bella, now.

Brie picks up the win when Tyson Kidd went up the apron to momentarily distract Paige.

After the match, Paige slaps Tyson, and Natalya smiles about it.

John Cena is in his locker room, beside himself.  Later tonight, we will have a Triple Threat contract signing.

Last Monday night, Ambrose Vs Wyatt in an Ambulance Match.

A message from Wyatt now.

Wyatt has entered The Royal Rumble match.  Whatever he does next will change our world, forever.  Some will laugh, some will cry, and others will have no other choice but to see what they saw.  The animal will be set free from his cage forever.

It’s official, Randy “Macho Man” Savage is the first member to be inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame.

We now see the amazing video.

Hulk Hogan will induct him, and Hulk Hogan will induct him.

It’s a great thing to hear, just too bad he isn’t living to speak.

The Ascension comes to the ring.

They need a manager to speak for them.

They are facing 2 ham and eggers.

The Fall of Man, match is done.

Dean Ambrose is still in therapy session, but now the therapist is crying over his childhood.  Ambrose is here for him.  Just sign these papers, and he will make sure the doctor gets the help he needs.

He signs the papers, and calls the therapist a spineless, cockroach and yes it is weird that he sits down to pee.

Next week, Raw Reunion with Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, and Scott Hall will be here.

Rusev and “The Ravishing Russian” Lana are in the ring.

Rusev was supposed to be facing Ryback, but he got canned.  She wants to thank The Authority for firing him.  She also wants to thank John Cena for failing to bring Ryback back tonight.  Another typical American who failed at their job.

Maybe Ryback can get a job at a deli, or something like that.

Rusev tells us Ryback is a stupid American, who doesn’t deserve to have a job here, and neither does John Cena.  At Royal Rumble, he was going to throw Ryback over the top rope, but….

Here comes Dean Ambrose, and it looks like we have a match, next.

Rusev wins the match, with a referee stoppage with Ambrose’s knee.  Rusev then lays out Ambrose with a kick to the head.

Triple Threat contract signing is next.

This Thursday on Smackdown, Daniel Bryan will face Kane.

Many wrestling shows are changing nights, it seems.

The Authority, Stephanie’s 4th segment, and Hunter’s 2nd if you’re keeping score at home.

They bring out Seth Rollins first.

Next comes John Cena.

And the WWE World Champion, Brock Lesnar comes out last.

Heyman has the mic, and he loves to tell us about the scorecard.  As much as he would love to get credit for bringing back The Authority, that man Seth Rollins was behind that.

The plan was backed by Paul Heyman, to bring back a desperate Authority.  And that plan is bad for John Cena, and a bad plan for John Cena is good for Brock Lesnar.

And what is good for Brock Lesnar is best for business.

Rollins appreciates the love, but Heyman wasn’t done yet.

Brock Lesnar has conquered everything in his path, and that includes everything that is in front of Brock at Royal Rumble.  That is the end of his statement.

Seth asks Heyman if he’s upset this was turned to a Triple Threat match.

Yes, because this could be a double cross.  The WWE World Champion does not have to be pinned to lose the title.

Rollins confirms that is a possibility, in any Triple Threat match.

But Brock has a list of accomplishments that is incomparable.  Eat, sleep, conquer.  Are you saying Brock can’t handle a Triple Threat match?

No, that doesn’t mean that, and Rollins isn’t through talking yet.

Seth doesn’t have Brock’s accomplishments, but Brock doesn’t have Rollins’ accomplishments either.  He created The Shield, and dismantled it.  He also won Money in the Bank ladder match, he made sure that Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan, and Ryback still don’t have jobs, by pinning John Cena earlier tonight.

And at the Royal Rumble, whether they like it or not, it’s plan A, or plan B.  Seth Rollins is walking out as WWE World Champion.

Rollins signs the contract.

Brock takes the mic from Heyman.  Lesnar conquered The Undertaker.  He conquered HHH, he conquered Cena, and he damn sure will conquer Rollins.

Cena grabs the mic and tells Brock that he doesn’t have to be pinned, but he will be pinned.  HHH didn’t do Rollins any favor, because the two of them will kick Seth’s ass, then Brock will be pinned.

Cena goats Lesnar to sign the contract, after he did that.

Rollins tells Cena’s plans haven’t seemed to be working lately.  He tried to keep The Authority out of the WWE.  He failed in bringing back Ziggler, Ryback, and Rowan and strike 3 will come when he fails to win the WWE World Title.

Rollins goes after Cena.  Brock suplexes Cena and Rollins.  Cena gives Lesnar an AA through a table.  But Rollins curbstomps both Cena and Brock to end the segment, and the night.

This was Seth Rollins night, as it should be.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

A much better show this week, but the majority of it had to do with Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and the great news of Randy “Macho Man” Savage being inducted, something that should have been done a long time ago.

It will be curious to see what happens with Raw Reunion, and we are 13 days away from Royal Rumble.  Who will be the one?  I don’t think Roman Reigns is doing himself any favors with these awful promos Vince is writing for him.

What did you think of the show?  Send me your thoughts, and a big shout-out to the Ohio State Buckeyes for beating Oregon Ducks in winning the National Championship in College Football.
