WWE Monday Night Raw 4/13/15…Live From England….On Tape

Tonight, WWE is in London, England.  I did not read the spoilers, so I am reacting to what I am watching.  I do know we will have a Diva Battle Royal, to determine who the Number One Contender is to the Diva’s Title.

Raw is now.

Michael Cole is back, as he is with JBL and Jerry “The King” Lawler.

John Cena kicks off the program.

The London crowd does not like Cena.

Cena butters up the fans to say London should host Wrestlemania. Cena is here for the United States Open Challenge, and who answers it?

Bad News Barrett.

Barrett is ready, and our match is next.

Cena won another good match here with Attitude Adjustment.

We see Lana return, and she distracted Cena so Rusev attacked Cena with a chain. Lana informs Cena that their match at Extreme Rules is a Russian Chain Match.

We haven’t seen a Russian Chain match since 1991, when Sting faced Nikita Koloff, at Great American Bash.

Last week, we had the triple threat match with Orton Vs Reigns Vs Ryback, and we see footage of that.

Big Show knocked out Roman Reigns.

Tonight, both Orton and Rollins have single matches. Orton will face Cesaro, and Rollins will face Ziggler.

The Bella Twins come out to the ring to join commentary for the Divas Battle Royal, next.

Paige wins the Battle Royal.

I am surprised Naomi didn’t go over here, with the pinfall victories she has had lately.

Paige Vs Nikki Bella at Extreme Rules.

We are in London, England tonight.

Paige is in the ring, with Byron Saxton.

Paige won the Divas Title on her first night in WWE. Just 2 weeks ago, she won her first Wrestlemania with AJ Lee.

But nothing compares to be competing in front of her own home country. A place where she started wrestling in gyms, making a pound, and this is in her own home country, in front of her father and her family, and friends. This is her house.

Naomi attacks Paige, and turns heel.

An official comes in and checks on Paige. Naomi believed she was next in line for a Divas Title shot, and Paige went past her.

Now we hear from Bray Wyatt.

It becomes an obsession. It becomes a sin. Love can be blinded, it can cloud your judgment, and it can stop you. But you’re in luck friend, because Bray has decided to reach deep inside of him. Because fear can be enriched inside your soul. And soon, he will see what it can do to you. So pay attention my friend, because behold the new face of fear.

Our next match is Lucha Dragons Vs The Ascension.

Lucha Dragons win in a 3 minute match.

Moving on….

Booker T is in the ring with Roman Reigns.

It’s been two weeks of an opportunity of a lifetime, Booker says. But we know that opportunity was ripped away from him. What is Roman’s mental mind is.

Roman went to Suplex City, and he woke up the next day. He felt it, and it didn’t feel good, but he woke up the next day. They told them that they were going to give us brutal fights. He told The Beast he was going to hit him in the mouth, Brock felt that punch. He could have beaten him, but Seth capitalized on the moment. Roman has beaten Seth Rollins, so he be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Big Show took that opportunity last week. He wishes he can say he is the biggest giant, he is a multi-World Champion, but lately he has become Seth Rollins’ little bitch.

Big Show shows up on the screen. He told Roman that he lost at Mania, while Show won Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. But Reigns is a loser, and he will do whatever he can to make Roman the biggest loser in WWE history. Everytime he gets up, Big Show will knock him back down.

Reigns dares Show to come out and face Reigns, man to man. Not a guy who is at the jumbo screen. Either he is too lazy, or he doesn’t have enough balls.

But if he continues to be a thorn, he will take that trophy and shove it down his throat, and he can believe that.

Big Show attacks Reigns after Reigns said he could retire him. He rams him into the taxi car they have on set two times.

Show takes Reigns and gives him a Chokeslam on the car.

We see footage of the wreckage of the car after Big Show put Reigns through it.

Match time, Randy Orton Vs Cesaro is now.

Well, this is a bit of a disappointment, the match ends in a DQ, when Tyson Kidd interfered.

But Kane doesn’t like this either. There needs to be a winner, so he will make this a 2-on-1 Handicap match, now.

Orton wins with a RKo out of nowhere, pinning Kidd.

Orton now has an opportunity to choose the stipulation on his match against Rollins, at Extreme Rules.

RKO was fantastic.

Kane has let down The Authority again, but Rollins has a chance to redeem himself when he beats Dolph Ziggler.

Rollins has a better idea, he will not face Ziggler. He will face Jamie Noble.

Jamie doesn’t want to face him, he puts blame on Kane again. Kane asks Rollins if he is afraid of Ziggler? No, Rollins NEEDS to win tonight. He needs to face someone who knows how to get the job done. He needs to face someone who knows what is best for business.

Kane asks Rollins if he is implying Kane can be beat? Rollins tells Kane the number one thing is they have to protect the champion. They can always call HHH, and see what he has to say.

Kane walks away, and Rollins assures J & J Security he knows what he has to do.

Oh boy, it’s Adam Rose. But his opponent is Dean Ambrose.

Dean needs a win, here.

Dirty Deeds, and the party is fowl.

Kane is on the phone, Big Show tells Kane that he did what was best for The Authority. Kane knows what is best for business, and Rollins can’t lose tonight, because he heads into Extreme Rules at a disadvantage. And Randy Orton as WWE World Heavyweight Champion is not what is best for business.

Kane tells us it will be Rollins Vs Kane. And he will do what is best for business.

Stardust Vs Fandango is now.

Stardust wins with Beautiful Disaster kick.

Fandango informs Rosa Mendes he realizes what he needs to do, he is losing because he only has his dance with Rosa, and not the entire WWE Universe.

We hear the old Fandango music, and the crowd loves it.

Kane is confronted by Daniel Bryan.

Kane tells him to please leave the room, and Daniel tells Kane that he is going to lie down for Seth. The Kane he knows would tombstoned Rollins. This gets Kane fired up, and he tells him to leave.

Kane Vs Rollins is next.

Kane refused to lay down at first, even going after J & J Security. But Seth tells him this is his WWE. And he runs things here. So Kane lays down, but then gives Rollins a chokeslam. He sets him up for the Tombstone, but realizes his job is on the line, so he rolls Rollins over and Seth wins.

Both Orton and Rollins get to choose a stipulation.

Damien Mizdow is coming out next, it will be The Miz Vs Damien Mizdow, now.

Mizdow wins with a rollup of the tights. Mizdow wins the match, and gets Summer Rae.

Primetime Players are now making fun of Los Matadores.

Tonight, our main event is what is dubbed as “Extreme Decision” between Randy Orton and Seth Rollins.

It’s Ryback Vs Luke Harper, now.

Ryback wins by DQ in a quick, sudden match. But here comes Dean Ambrose wanting to get himself some, but Harper just moves away. And he throws a chair near ringside.

Earlier tonight, Paige won the Divas Battle Royal, but Naomi snapped after the match.

Byron Saxton is standing by with Naomi. She has no remorse over what she did. This is about Naomi.

Who is the Diva’s Champion? Nikki Bella. The diva that she beat twice. So why did they must have the battle royal? She was in the same NXT season as AJ Lee, and they call her a legend now that she is gone. Naomi is tired of being nice, she is taking what is hers.

That was a good promo there, and effective.

Dolph Ziggler is in action, next.

Ziggler comes back, and we find out he is not happy to not have his shot at Rollins tonight. Kane thought he did what was best for business? Kane proved to be the Devil’s favorite dumbass.

Ziggler is the best in this business, so he will issue an open challenge.

Who will face Ziggler?

Neville.

The WWE veteran finds a way to win with a Zig Zag.

A great match here, and Sheamus attacks both men.

Ziggler fights back, which is good to see, but Sheamus rams Ziggler’s head into the steel post and hits another Brogue Kick.

So are we going to see Ziggler get into the IC Title situation? Not sure why Sheamus attacks Ziggler twice here.

Earlier tonight, we see Big Show attack Reigns.

Big Show will be on Thursday Night Smackdown, but next we get our “Extreme Decision”.

Next week, HHH will have a major announcement about “Tough Enough”.

Seth Rollins and Randy Orton make their way out to the ring, now.

Rollins is with J & J Security, and they have La-Z Boy chairs out.

Rollins tell us we can boo him if we all want, but he is the future of WWE. And he is the greatest WWE World Heavyweight Champion of all time. You don’t believe him? He defeated both Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at the same night at Wrestlemania.

He also defeated Kane earlier tonight. Kane was supposed to be here, but Kane relieved his duties for the night, and put Rollins in charge.

He has a great stipulation for Orton, so he calls him out to the ring.

Orton tells Rollins he too gets to choose a stipulation. So how about they make things more simple, and take the chairs out of the equation, and both men fight. The man standing will then choose the stipulation.

Rollins loves to complicate things, he takes advantage of those opportunities. This is all power, Rollins won Money in the Bank making things complicated. Orton’s power is the RKO, and that move is banned for their title match at Extreme Rules.

Good move, and Randy wants to take Seth’s power away too. Seth’s power isn’t his mind, it’s The Authority. So how about they have their match inside a steel cage.

You think that scares Seth? He is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and without the RKO, Orton has nothing.

Orton tells Rollins since the RKO is banned from Extreme Rules, they might as well give the fans what their money’s worth.

Orton goes after Rollins, and he hits a RKO on both Jamie and Mercury, but Rollins slips out of the ring.

The show ends with Orton celebrating.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This show had its ups and downs. Considering everything, it wasn’t a bad show for England. We had some good matches, but the moments too were questionable.

I have no clue why Sheamus goes after Ziggler, when he has his match at Extreme Rules set with Daniel Bryan. Does this mean Ziggler will be added?

Will Naomi be added to Divas Title match too? Since Paige needs to get her revenge on Naomi?

Will we ever see “The Big Red Machine” back?

And why did we get a 2 minute match with Miz and Mizdow, when they had set their feud up for months?

But boy, Ziggler Vs Neville was good, as was Cena Vs Barrett. I like these United States Title challenge, and maybe it will make US Title more important? IC Title needs to be held with high regard too. Are they doing that? Maybe I should watch Smackdown again, and find out?
