Impact Wrestling 2/13/15…A Night In Glasgow

Last week, we saw Lockdown, when Team Angle defeated Team BDC, and this includes Lashley being Kurt’s partner.

Where do we go from here?

Impact Wrestling is now.

Beat Down Clan arrives in Glasgow.

MVP assures his team last week did not happen, so get it off of their minds, and prove what they can do.  Beat people down, because they can.  Joe tells them that Gunner, Aries, Angle, Lashley, and Roode are all going to pay for what they did.  Time to collect on their asses.

Kurt Angle comes to the ring.

Throughout Kurt’s career, he has always been drawn to individual success.  The Olympics, World Titles, and Hall of Fames.  He wants to personally thank Gunner and Austin Aries for being a part of Team Angle and take care of Team BDC.

They want to control the World Title.  But who know who should control the World Title?  The best wrestler the business has, Kurt Angle.

Kurt wants to bring out Lashley, the man who helped him last week.

Lashley come out, and Kurt tells him he wouldn’t join Team Angle, but he changed his mind.  And as long as Lashley has the title, he will always be a target of BDC.  Kurt wants to personally thank Lashley.

The two men shake hands.

Lashley tells him he didn’t help him for Kurt, he did it to get his hands on that piece of trash, MVP.

Kurt tells him that wasn’t the only reason he brought him out here, he wants his hands on the World Title as well and become World Champion.

What do you say?

Enter BDC.

MVP tells them before they fight it out, or hug it out, Team Angle didn’t officially beat Team BDC, because Lashley wasn’t an official team member of Team Angle.

But he’s right about one thing, BDC will do whatever it takes to beat down Angle and Lashley.  There isn’t anything they can do about it, so who will take the ass whooping?

Lashley tells MVP if they want a fight, Lashley will fight any 2 members of BDC.  With his partner being Kurt Angle.

Tonight, Matt Hardy gives us an update on Jeff Hardy.

But next, Austin Aries Vs Bobby Roode.

Aries and Roode have a backstage confrontation.  The two men have alot of history together.  They fought for each other, but tonight, it’s not the same.  Roode tells Austin this is all about getting another World Title shot, so let’s leave it all in the ring.

That match is next.

Last Friday night, Tyrus defeated Spud and Mandrews.  EC3 was about to cut Spud’s hair, but JB stopped him.

Earlier today, EC3 shares his thoughts on JB.  Patience is not one of Ethan’s fortes.  He wanted to shave Spud’s hair, but JB stopped that.  So he is issuing a challenge, Spud, Mandrews, and JB Vs Tyrus and EC3.  He has his backup, and Ethan always gets what he wants.

Aries Vs Roode is now.

Roode makes Aries tap out to the Crossface.

Next week, a 20 man Gauntlet Battle Royal to determine the new Number One Contender to the World Title.  The top 5 rankings will go through 16-20 in the Battle Royal, so will Bobby draw number 20?

Roode is on the mic, he says this is pro wrestling.  Austin Aries is one of the greatest wrestlers he has ever been in the ring with.

The two men shake hands, and Roode says it is time to get his World Title back.

Roode knows Lashley has his hands full with Beat Down Clan.  But Lashley knows Roode-Lashley III didn’t really happen, and he deserves a rematch.

He doesn’t care, he doesn’t care when, but he will get his title again.

Eric Young attacks him from behind and nails a piledriver.

Moments ago, we see what we just saw, Eric Young attacking Bobby Roode and hitting a Piledriver.

Roode is being helped to the back.

Young attacks him again, and hits another Piledriver right on the outside floor.

Taz and Josh Matthews talk about what we just saw in TNA Headquarters.

Al Snow is in the ring.

The crowd is booing Al, because of what took place at British Boot Camp.

Al has been in this business for 33 years, competing all over the world.  But he has also trained some of the best wrestlers.  And we all may think we can do what he does, but we can’t.  Because we are all sitting there, while he does what he does.

He encountered someone just like us on the show, and will give Grado one week to quit doing, before he gets an ass kicking, next week.

He orders Grado to come to the ring, and he does.

Snow doesn’t think Grado has the heart to be in this business, because he never respected Snow, and he never respected the boys in the back.

Grado takes the mic, and tells Snow we are in Glasgow, and we don’t take any crap.

Al meets Grado’s mom and tells her she should be ashamed of him.  She needs to do the right thing, and tell him to walk away and quit.

Grado’s mom slaps him, and Grado fights back with Snow.

The match is on for next week.  Grado beats Snow, Al will shake his hand.  But he knows nobody in this stinking building can beat him.

We see Jeff Hardy fall off the steel cage, and bounce his head on the steel step.  Matt Hardy is here tonight, and will give us an update on Jeff.

Crazzy Steve is in the ring.  He will face Bram.

Bram wins with an impale DDT.  He is on the mic, daring Magnus to come out and saying he won’t stop until he comes out.

Spud and Mandrews is giving JB a pep talk, about taking care of EC3, for shaving JB’s head, besides, Spud has backup.

Our main event tonight is Angle and Lashley Vs any 2 members of BDC.  Gunner talks to Kurt.  He wants to thank him for choosing him as a part of Team Angle.  But is he sure he should go out there tonight, with Lashley as his partner.  Kurt wants Lashley at his best, because he will be TNA World Champ someday.  He knows Gunner has his back.

EC3 and Tyrus Vs Spud, Mandrews, and Jeremy Borash is now.

EC3 and Tyrus win when Ethan pins Spud with a One Percenter, and Jeremy Borash took himself out by trying a Frogsplash on Tyrus.

EC3 has the shears, and he starts to shave Spud’s hair, but the lights go out, and it’s Mr. Anderson!!

Anderson takes care of EC3 and Tyrus, so Anderson was Spud’s backup.

Next week is Gunner’s opportunity to win the Gauntlet Battle Royal and receive a World Title match.

Kenny King and Lo-Ki take out Gunner.

Madison Rayne is in the ring.

The fans love her, and she doesn’t care.  She just wants to make one thing abundantly clear.

We hear a big foot stomp.

Madison is the Queen Bee in the Knockout Division in the last 6 years.  She is one title win away from being the most decorated Knockout Champion, ever.

2 more stomps.

To all of the ladies in the back, there is not one of you that can beat her in this ring.

It’s Awesome Kong!!

Kong Vs Madison is now.

Kong wins with the Implant Buster.

I love how slowly that music came on, it was like a scene from Jurassic World.

Matt Hardy will speak, next.

Kurt Angle sees Austin Aries.  Austin shows Kurt his briefcase.  Everyone wants their shot, and they did fight with each other last week.  But if Kurt wins the title, he has a bullseye.  It’s real, damn real.

Kurt loves adversity, it’s what a champion is all about.

Austin reminds Kurt he has been World Champ before, and he will be again.

Footage from last week, when Jeff Hardy took his fall.

Matt Hardy comes to the ring.

Matt loves being with these fans, but he wishes Jeff can be with him.  Jeff loves this business so much, and he has taken iconic risks.  And even though Jeff has taken bumps before, he would always give Matt a small sign that he was okay.  But when he took his fall on the steel steps, Jeff did not give him a thumbs up, and Hardy looked empty in his eyes.  For the first time, Matt saw doubt in Jeff Hardy.  So congratulations James Storm, he did something no other person could do.

Enter The Revolution.

Matt is right, because James did what Edge and Christian couldn’t do.  He did what Team 3-D couldn’t do.  Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, Sting, Bobby Lashley.  Hell, he did what The Undertaker couldn’t do.  He broke Jeff Hardy.  He is the villain, and in his version, heroes never win.

Now Matt Hardy, Storm will give Matt 2 options.  Option 1, give the V signal, and join The Revolution.  Or, option 2, they can set up a nice bed next to Jeff, and put Matt right next to Jeff.

Well, as Matt would say, Jeff does have a nice hospital bed.

The Revolution swarm in and attack Matt Hardy.

With The Revolution, they say an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.  And in Matt’s case, they will take his heart.

But here come The Wolves, siding with Matt Hardy.

Our main event, Lashley and Kurt team up to face any 2 members of BDC, next.

Austin Aries has no time frame for when he cashes in the briefcase.

Kenny King comes over, but Austin is on him.  But here come MVP and Lo-Ki.  MVP tells Austin he is not cashing in the briefcase tonight.

Lashley and Kurt Vs MVP and Joe is our main event.

MVP and Joe win the match when Angle almost runs into Lashley, and MVP rolls up Lashley for the pin.

BDC get their redemption from last week as the show ends here.

Next week, The Gauntlet Battle Royal to determine the new Number One Contender.  And what will happen when MVP confronts Lashley?

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Certainly not as good as last week’s Lockdown, but we sort of already knew that.  I did like seeing the importance of the World Title.  Roode Vs Aries is always fun to watch, and the BDC needed this redemption after last week.  European shows are usually fun to see in TNA, and this was no exception.

Send me your thoughts on the show.
