WWE Monday Night Raw 8/2/10…Can Team Cena Get Along?

We begin Raw with a video package showing what has taken place with Team Cena and Team NEXUS.  We are live….on tape from San Antonio, Texas….again.

Tonight, it will be Randy Orton taking on The Miz.  And we are going to see an exclusive trailer to the new John Cena movie Legendary.

Edge starts the show off, the way it should be.

Edge tried, but he realized after last week, he has to listen to one person, and that is himself.  After Royal Rumble, when he came back from a tendon injury, he listened to the fans.  And they let him down.  Just like his Summerslam team is.  He doesn’t respect Cena.  He doesn’t trust Jericho, he doesn’t like Great Khali.  He barely knows Morrison and R-Truth.  He does agree that NEXUS needs to be stopped, so tonight, he challenges Wade Barrett.

R-Truth comes out, he is going to ask everyone an important question….what’s up?

Edge doesn’t know why Truth is here, Truth says he is asking Edge the same thing.  He doesn’t get it, it’s bigger than Wade Barrett.  They all have to fight together, or else NEXUS wins.  That’s the truth.

Edge doesn’t hear it, he wants the head guy, if he takes out Barrett, NEXUS crumbles.  So, is Truth going to get out of his ring, or will he spear him out?

Email sound goes off, and Cole is channeling Mike Adamle, and I quote….the Raw GM says tonight, it will be Edge against Wade Barrett, one on one and Truth needs to exit the ring, because the match is up next.

This was a no contest when Edge had given Barrett an Edgecution, he was about to spear Wade, but Barrett has learned so much, he got out of the ring, stalled a bit and called the troops down to ringside.  NEXUS almost attacked Edge, but he got away and they did a stare down, with Edge at the top of the aisle.  Good match, and I actually liked the way it ended, it didn’t hurt anyone and both men are kept strong.

We are backstage and Edge is furious with what just happened.  He is looking for Cena, and sees him.  He wants to know where he was at.  He was out there all by himself, Cena said he thought he’d listen to Edge.  Edge felt he could do it all on his own, but the truth is they have to work together, 7 on 7.  But there is a problem, Edge quits.

Chris Jericho is behind Cena and John asks him if he wants to quit too.  But Chris said Cena should quit because he is as dangerous as NEXUS.  So if he wants to do what’s right, he should quit now.  In fact, he challenges Cena to a Loser Quits Raw team at Summerslam.  Since Jericho has only beaten Cena once, that might be dangerous, but Cena agrees.

Cole brings up this might not look good for Bret Hart, who again is the smartest man here, because he is at home training.  Speaking of Bret, they look back at Summerslam 1991, when Bret beats the legendary “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig, and becomes the Intercontinental Champion for the first time in a classic match.

We go backstage again with John Morrison and The Great Khali, Morrison again says we need to stick together.  He reminds him about the movie The Magnificant Seven but Khali reminds him about the 7 Dwarfs too.  Morrison wishes him luck with Ted Dibiase tonight.

NEXUS comes over to Khali, they reminded him that they didn’t attack him last week because they respect him.  They said rumor has it that if he loses to Ted tonight, he will be replaced.  That doesn’t sound like respect to them.  Khali has something to think about.

We have a 6 Divas match with Eve, Gail Kim, and Natalya taking on Alicia Fox, Jillian Hall, and Tamina.

Alicia, Tamina, and Jillian beat Gail, Eve, and Natalya when the heels take care of the faces outside of the ring, and when Natalya tries the Sharpshooter, Tamina distracts Natalya so Alicia does the Ax Kick and wins the match.  Gail took a crazy bump on the pole though, so hopefully she is okay.

Alicia has the mic and she says we are all witnesses to the greatest Divas Title reign in history, she has beaten everyone in one form or another.  So, we have the return of Melina.  She charges to the ring, with Alicia trying to get out of the ring, but is blocked by Jillian.  Melina pulls off the Matrix, then gives Alicia the Sunset Split and screams she is back.  I say welcome back.  Now the Divas division can pick up.

The WWE Champion is up now, and his opponent is Goldust.  Yup, the champion’s opponent is a guy that hasn’t worked on Raw in quite some time.  I take that back, he did wrestle last week, but he hasn’t been on Raw in awhile.

Sheamus finished Goldy in record time with the High Cross.

Sheamus has the mic and he talks about one year ago, he was feuding with Goldy at ECW, trying to make a name for himself.  Now, he’s the WWE Champion, but who has he truly pinned?  He didn’t do it with a briefcase, he did it by his own hard work and the fans came to watch him.  He brings up HHH, but he took him out.  He vows he will do the same thing to Orton at Summerslam.  He doesn’t need the fans respect, nor does he need the credit.  All he needs is the WWE Title.

Coming up next, Chris Jericho taking on John Cena.

Cena beats Jericho with the STF, but Cena didn’t even put the move on, Jericho tapped out.  It just was a very strange ending to a match that again delivered.  But let’s be honest, we all knew Jericho didn’t have a chance to win, since his record against Cena isn’t exactly record-breaking.  At the end of the match, Cena grabbed the mic and he said this whole thing is silly, I agree.  He wants Jericho to join him, because deep down, Jericho would let himself down through all of this, and he has to look at himself in the mirror and realize he quit on himself.  So join him, and together they can help stop NEXUS.  Chris thought about it, he even heading towards the ring, but he thought better of it and walked away.

We come back and see Chris and Edge together in the locker room.  Edge said he respects Chris more for taking a stand, Chris said ditto, and they talked about how WWE wants them apart, so they made up and decided they will join forces, and I say this is the best part of the show.

Email sound….

Mike Adamle, I mean Michael Cole comes over and he announces next week, Chris and Edge will team up against John Cena and Bret “The Hitman” Hart with NEXUS serving as Lumberjacks.

We have an interview segment with Randy Orton now.  Randy said Sheamus needs to realize Randy took out HHH as well, thanks to kicking him in the skull.  So tonight, he is inviting Sheamus to come down to ringside and see what he is going to do to The Miz tonight.  However, in 2 weeks, he is going to do the same thing to Sheamus.

Coming up next, the exclusive premiere to the movie trailer of Legendary.

They show the movie trailer to Legendary, it’s with Patricia Clarkson and Danny Glover.  John plays a recent parole who comes back home and shows his brother how to Wrestle, and his brother, in turn shows him how to be a man.

The Great Khali will be facing off against Ted Dibiase.

I will say this, in a few weeks, Maryse has made Ted look like a star.

NEXUS comes down to ringside and surround themselves to the ring, but does nothing but distract Dibiase, Great Khali gives him the Chop and then gives Ted the Khali Vise Grip, and of course, the announcers don’t put this over on what just happened, so why should we?

Before the main event match, we see an interview clip with Will Farrell and Mark Wahlberg from the upcoming film The Other Guys, also co-starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, notice how they don’t mention that?  Anyway, Will is saying how his character in the movie is connected with the women, and the Bella Twins come up and ask him out for a date.  He turns them down, and Mark can’t believe it.

Main event match with The Miz taking on Randy Orton.  Miz has a few words to say first before the match, he says he made a big mistake giving Miz the RKO last week, and Randy will pay for what he did tonight.  He said even if Randy wins at Summerslam, his moment will come and The Miz will cash in his title shot to become the WWE Champion, because he is The Miz, and he is AWESOME.

Somehow, I hear voices in my head and see Randy Orton come to the ring now, and here we go.

During the match, Sheamus does come to ringside and scouts the match, he sees Randy pin The Miz with the RKO in a very solid match, and when the match is over with, Sheamus starts to come to the ring, but Randy is ready for it, and with that, Sheamus does not come into the ring and the show ends.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

You can just tell that the show was taped because the announcers just didn’t seem into it.  They were doing voiceovers and the show had that feel.  You know what I am talking about, that “We are on the way to go overseas, so let’s just get this show out-of-the-way, we get the tour over, and focus on the last show before Summerslam”.  They just shouldn’t go on an overseas trip right when the 2nd biggest PPV is on the horizon.  They should instead focus on the product and put the PPV over.  You can take that overseas trip AFTER the huge PPV.  If they don’t treat this show as special, then why should the fans?

I loved seeing Melina back, she is very much-needed, and it also sets up a match between she and Alicia Fox at Summerslam, at least I think.

NEXUS didn’t have much of a role, but they still had their presence, and that is good.

The Jericho-Cena match ending just felt very cheap.  I believe Edge and Jericho will still get in the match, but how about showcasing Morrison and R-Truth a bit more?  Truth got some mic time, and he actually made some good points, but at the end of the day, he was forgotten, as was John Morrison.  2 of your up and coming superstars involved in a very important match at a very important PPV, why not put them in a match tonight?

Khali deal was okay, but you know how I feel, I would rather see Ted Dibiase take Khali’s spot, so why not have Cena kick him out of the team?

Next week should be very good, and in fact it better be very good.  We will see Bret Hart make an appearance, and perhaps he can get the team together so they can get on the same page.  But one more thing, we also need to find out who the anonymous Raw GM is because I am sick of hearing Cole get more mic time, because when he reads off the stuff on a cue card, he makes more mistakes.  Let’s find out who the guy is and we can kick the fall season of Raw on the right foot.

Give me your thoughts on tonight’s show and the direction of the show, email me at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com or give me a line here.  2 weeks to go for Summerslam, can you feel it?

WWE Raw 7/19/10…The Road To Summerslam Begins Tonight

We are on our way to the 2nd biggest PPV of the season, a very entertaining Money in the Bank PPV, we are live in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  They discussed what took place in the title match and the Raw GM made a one on one match between Mark Henry and Wade Barrett.  NEXUS will not interfere, and coming up now is a Number One Contendership match, a Triple Threat match with the winner facing the WWE Champion at Summerslam.  Randy Orton will face off against Chris Jericho and Edge.

Randy Orton goes to Summerslam with 2 RKOs on both opponents.  He RKo’d Jericho, then Edge came charging after Randy, but Orton RKO’d him for his troubles.  Very good match with the three.  It started as a 2 on 1 advantage, then Jericho had the chance to pin Randy, so the rest of the match was every man for themselves.  Some very cool near falls, with one guy rolling the other, then the next guy came from behind to roll them.  So far, it will be Sheamus against Orton, but that’s no guarantee either.  It’s possible Cena could get himself involved.  The build for Summerslam starts though, and that’s a good thing.

Edge has the mic and he demands Jericho to come back to the ring.  Jericho comes out, Edge is mad that Jericho cost him the title, but he is the one who ran into the RKO.  I’m just saying.

Jericho said it is going to end tonight, he said that he is the reason Wade Barrett and NEXUS has achieved success.  Oh boy, this might be good.  He can just call for Barrett on a snap of a finger and they could take care of Edge.  He disagrees with Jericho and says he can have a talk with him and they wouldn’t like the idea of someone else taking the credit for their success.

Then NEXUS comes out, Barrett doesn’t like the arguing.  They are veterans and are highly respected.  NEXUS would be lucky to call them an ally.  But they all circle Edge and says Jericho is right, NEXUS would end Edge’s career, so they beat him up.  Jericho is directing traffic, but that might not be good.  Skip Sheffield does the spear on Edge, but now NEXUS circle around Jericho.  Wade said Edge was right too, they would like to shut up the person who claims to be behind NEXUS, so Jericho attacks NEXUS and now they beat him down.  Wow, the crowd is silent for this.  I don’t think they even know what to make of this.  I like it though because NEXUS needs to beat down both faces and heels.

We come back and see Josh Matthews interviewing Wade Barrett.  NEXUS has their own locker room now, it seems.  Josh is wondering if each member individually can compete with the World’s Strongest Man.  Wade asks if Josh is quaking in his boots, Josh answers yes and he guarantees Mark is doing the same thing because now he is about to rewrite history.  Sheamus wants to make a proposition, Wade invites him into his “office” but Sheamus says he wants to stay here.

Michael Cole is now interviewing John Cena.  Cena says he brought this upon himself.  Barrett said a few weeks ago that if he shook Wade’s hand, it all ends.  John’s ego got the best of him because he thought he could handle things.  John says they took care of Jericho and Edge.  He wants to meet NEXUS in the ring tonight.  Lawler questions that and John says if you can’t beat NEXUS then you can….and he walks away.  Okay.

Eve is out for a match and on a night after she lost a chance at the title, she smiles and pretends everything is okay.  She is taking on Maryse.

Eve now becomes the Number One Contender again when she pinned Maryse after a kick to the head.  Story of this though was Maryse’s foot was on the ropes, but the ref never saw it.  Dibiase, who was doing commentary starts yelling at the ref, and John Morrison came out and attacked Dibiase.  Pulls off Starship Pain.

The WWE Champion, Sheamus comes out, proud to have the title over his shoulder.  He wants the world to know he has beaten John Cena in a tables match, Fatal 4-Way, and now a Steel Cage.  He is dominant over Cena.  He assures us that Cena won’t get a WWE Title shot anytime soon.  He should have done the same thing that Sheamus did just moments ago.  He demanded a truce, and nobody heard of Sheamus or NEXUS a year ago, but now, they are a dominating entity.  Wade Barrett agreed to a truce.  They won’t have to like each other, but stay away from each other.  Now Randy Orton has no chance at Summerslam, since there won’t be interference.

Awesssssssssome…..The Miz comes out with the briefcase.  He congratulates Sheamus on getting rid of his “NEXUS problem” but he still has The Miz problem.  He controls the WWE Championship because he can cash it in on anytime.  He says to Sheamus that if he does take care of Orton, but he gets RKO’d and Miz can come out and cash in the Title shot and becomes WWE Champion.  He can also be in the back, talking like a tough guys, but Miz nails him in the back with the briefcase and drags him to the ring, and pins him.  Every breath he takes, every step he takes, he’ll be watching him….cause he’s THE MIZ AND HE’S…..Shemus tells him he’s nothing because he’s not the champion, he is.

As Sheamus walks away, the email sound goes off, Cole said the Raw GM suggests that The Miz stay at ringside and watch the next match, he is taking on Evan Bourne.

Sheamus defeated Evan with the Brogue Kick.  Evan tried to do Air Bourne, but Sheamus moved out of the ring, and Evan flew outside of the ring.  Sheamus got back into the ring, distracted the ref, and kicked Evan back into the ring and then did the big kick to win.  The Miz was watching this throughout from a chair and when Sheamus beat him, Miz attacked Sheamus from behind with the briefcase.  Crowd was totally into The Miz doing this and after Miz used the Skull Crushing Finale on Sheamus, he told the ref he wanted to cash in his Money in the Bank title match now.  The ref had to check on Sheamus before the bell would ring, but R-Truth came out to get back at what happened a few weeks ago.  Miz told the ref he wasn’t cashing in and since the bell never rang, no match took place.  Miz just took his briefcase and ran.  Oh boy, we need a scorecard right about now.

When we come back, we get a Summerslam moment from 1998.  Undertaker taking on Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Sheamus is backstage with an ice pack on his head, walking past Gail Kim and the Bella Twins laughing.  They are more than likely laughing that they are getting paid and not wrestling.  Randy Orton said that if it is indeed Sheamus Vs Orton at Summerslam, Orton will take care of him with a RKO, but he is the hunted now that he is the WWE Champion.  Anything can happen.

Santino and Vladimir Kozlov are facing off against William Regal and Zack Ryder, who don’t even get their entrances.  That’s not cool.

Cole said we can catch Zack Ryder every Tuesday night on NXT, but my thought was what about Monday nights on Raw?

Santino and Kozlov beat Ryder and Regal when Kozlov did a big spinebuster, Santino wanted to cover, Kozlov made the tag and Santino did a big elbow to win the match.

Wade Barrett is discussing things with NEXUS backstage, Mark Henry is taking on Wade Barrett and that match is up next.

Wade defeated Mark Henry in a relatively easy manner.  But NEXUS came out to the ring near the ramp, never at ringside.  That distracted Mark Henry, who was at the top, but Wade kicked Mark in the head and hit The Wasteland (Fireman’s Carry slam) to win the match in impressive manner.

Wade calls out John Cena now, and the screen showed him, but he was slowly walking, as if he didn’t hear that.  So commercial break.

They come back, and there’s still no Cena, which is funny to me.  I know he needs to do his own entrance, but it’s still funny he has not come out.  So Michael Tarver is on the mic now and he says considering they already made a truce, they promise to at least listen to what Cena says.  If he admits NEXUS runs the show.  He wants John to show some remorse over what he did a few weeks ago to Darren Young, and what he did to NEXUS last night.  Maybe they will leave him alone, but it’s all on him.

So Cena makes his grand entrance.  Cena thanks NEXUS for talking to him.  Ever since NEXUS came into the picture, he has had 2 title matches.  One, where he lost the title at Fatal 4-Way and the other one where he lost in a steel cage.  He wants to talk to every member, one by one.  Wade says that won’t happen, in fact he wants Cena to join NEXUS because as much success as Cena has had before them, he can have 10 times more with NEXUS backing them.  So he asked Cena to join them.  John thought about it for a second, but declined.  So Wade said okay, he is either with NEXUS, or against them.  So John has 2 choices, he can either get out of the ring, with his tail behind him, or he can receive the biggest beating of his career.  John chooses to leave the ring, he goes up to the top of the ramp and says one more thing.  John said before that he has vowed to take out each and every single member of NEXUS.  He will either do it himself, or get some help.  The truth is since NEXUS started to show up, he started to assemble his own team to take care of NEXUS, once and for all.  His teammates?

John Morrison

The Great Khali

Chris Jericho

Bret “The Hitman” Hart

All 7 charged into the ring and the 7 members of NEXUS ran away, and that is the end of the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Wow, okay, where do I start?  I’ll just start at the end of the night.  No question, there was going to be a 7 on 7 match, and no question this will be a very important night for the guys on NEXUS.  People say they can’t work very well, and while that may be true, they will have a shot to shine.  But Great Khali?  Bret Hart?  I love Bret coming back, but what can he do in the ring?  I guess we will have to wait and see because it’s possible that they could do a bait and switch here.  But the ending segment was pretty good, but I have to say, R-Truth needs to stop dancing around.  John Morrison tonight looked very serious, that is a good thing because when you are talking about the “livelihood” of your company, you can’t dance.  I am just saying.  But other than that, I am not going to pick anything else, it was a good way to end the show.

Orton is obviously a good choice to face Sheamus because even though they faced each other before, it seemed unfinished and at the time, they were both heels.  Now Orton is a face, grant it, a tweener, but the fans get behind him, so that ought to be good.  I absolutely loved what they did with The Miz though.  They reminded everyone that he won Money in the Bank last night, and he truly does control the entire landscape because he can cash in the title shot anytime he wants.  I just hope it’s not anytime soon, but at some point, WWE will have no choice but to turn him face.  The crowd again was absolutely loving every second of his segment and singing along his catchphrase.  He truly is the next breakout superstar.

I also have a feeling that Sheamus’ pact with NEXUS won’t last long too.

Number One Contenders match was very good and so was Sheamus and Bourne.  I am a bit surprised that Evan wasn’t involved in that match though.  I know he’s a small dude, but so is Rey Mysterio, and he can go with the big guys.  I know Evan could too.  Overall, a fun show and Summerslam is now beginning to shape up with 2 big matches announced.  Give me your thoughts on the show by email at DJKevinGillman75@aol.com or through comments here.

WWE Raw 5/31/10…That Wrestling Show

In honor of Ashton Kutcher, who is the guest host tonight, a big WWE fan himself so that should be fun. What will happen tonight? Let’s “Burn Down The Ground” and find out.

Whoa, we start off with Edge beating up Evan Bourne.  Apparently, Evan spoke out how this is his opportunity and he is making it happen.  Evan actually does some high flying with some kicks.   Evan goes up for Air Bourne, but he misses, and now Edge is setting him up for a spear.  He nails it.  Edge grabs the mic and he said what just happened to Evan will happen at Fatal 4Way.  No matter what he does, no matter how many times he shows off his dominance, people like Evan Bourne disrespects him, he is nothing like his 3 opponents.  John Cena is the superhero, he is the strongest Wrestler in the industry, Sheamus will do whatever it takes to bulldoze his opponents.  But that leaves “The Viper”, who strikes at a moment’s notice.  Edge tries to get the fans to chant RKO, but then he says the fans are sheep.  He will prove everyone wrong at the PPV when he becomes a 10 time WWE champion.

Now comes The Viper, who charges in the ring and stares down Edge.  Edge said that Randy comes down to the ring, thinking he will do something to him, but both he and Edge know that won’t happen.  Because Randy isn’t 100%.  He did his homework, if he makes it to the PPV, he will hurt Randy.  He’s not kidding, so Randy gives him the RKO and favors his shoulder.  He goes to the ropes and poses for the crowd.  I love this segment.

Tonight in the main event a tag team match between the 4 opponents at Fatal 4Way.  John Cena and Randy Orton take on Edge and Sheamus.

Ashton Kutcher is next.

Ashton Kutcher is backstage, apparently Zack Ryder is talking trash to him on Twitter.  Eve greets him and he seems upset that Zack is doing that.  She asked him what is he going to do about it?  He said he is going to put a hit on Zack.  It could be anyone, a wrestler, a referee, even him.  The Miz comes over and he wanted to know why Ashton wanted to see him?  Does he want him to star with him at The Killers Part 2.  Ashton said he talked with Bret Hart and they signed Daniel Bryan to a 1 day contract and they are going to have a match tonight.  Wow, talk about hot shotting something.  Then Ashton and Miz gets into an argument, you don’t want him to use the “Farmhand”

R-Truth comes out and his opponent is Chris Jericho.  R-Truth wins with a small package.  He countered a Walls of Jericho with a roll up to win the match.  I don’t necessarily agree with that, but it seems they are planting the seeds of Jericho doubting himself.  He looks like he is about to break down and cry over losing.  Not one of my favorite matches, but whatever.

They are showing clips of what happened last week when Batista quit and Bret Hart was named GM of Raw.

Zack Ryder is now backstage talking with the GM, he said he is watching him Hitman.  The Hart Dynasty comes in and is talking about the 3 people who attacked them last week.  They are the Usos, Rikishi’s kids and the woman is Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka’s daughter.  He said he can’t play favorites, so they will have to handle their own business.

Eve and Santino come out for a mixed tag match next.  Their opponents are Maryse and William Regal.  Santino entertains us with his mic work and calls Regal’s music “Darth Vader” he is trying to persuade Vladimir Koslov to join him and even said Eve has agreed to “make love to him” but then he quickly changes that Eve would “love” it if Vladmir is Santino’s tag team partner.  Off with the match.

They did the usual spot with the divas rolling over the ref and Vladmir came in and gave Regal The Iron Curtain and left, so Eve and Santino won the match.  The makings of a great tag team.

Now we get a nice video dedicated today’s episode to the soldiers who are fighting or who have served our nation.  Amen, God Bless the troops.  They are the real heroes.

Our new Raw GM, Bret “The Hitman” Hart comes out to greet the crowd.  Bret tells us he is having fun this week as GM and next week will be real special, all the superstars of Raw and Smackdown will be together.  A 3 hour episode next week, starting at 8:00.  Out comes “The Fortunate Son” Ted Dibiase with the REAL Virgil, looking dapper that the REAL Virgil can look.  If they are truly taking ideas from the Wrestlers, then Ted wants to be the GM and he is willing to pay him whatever he wants to be GM of the night.  He said his father knows Bret very well, and Ted said “Everybody has a price” and so does Bret.  Ted says the reason Bret came back to WWE is because he needs money, and Ted can achieve those dreams, so name your price.  Ashton Kutcher interrupts on the screen, and he says he has an idea…next week they do a first ever Raw Viewers Choice, where the fans pick the matches and stipulations.  Bret agrees, so next week, it will be a Viewer’s Choice night.  Oh good gravy….HERE COMES VINCE!!!

This is Vince’s first appearance since his Wrestlemania beatdown.  Vince now does a comparison of let’s hear for Vince….let’s hear for Bret.  He says Bret looks 10 years older than the last time he saw him, and he looks great.  He asks Bret how many times Bret hit him with a chair?  Bret says 18…he counted.  The crowd then chants “You tapped out” and he said he must have had that aggression out of his system because Bret accepted the position of GM.  But Vince asks why he offered Bret the job?  He says that Bret has to make some unpopular choices down the road, he has to treat the fans as “children” which means you have to make the right decision for WWE rather than the fans.  He even asked him if he could take the fans booing him, he said yes.  He also wanted to say good luck to Bret, Vince thinks it’s a fantastic story to have a guy admonish from the show 13 years ago, and now he is back as a GM, and he is hoping his “story” as GM has a happy ending.

Now Zack is asking Randy Orton why Ashton didn’t ask Randy to take him out and Randy said if he did, he wouldn’t be having this conversation.  Randy is leaning against the wall and Edge rams the door shut, hurting Randy’s shoulder, so he might be out.

They just showed what happened with Edge attacked Randy’s shoulder and they speculate as to if he can wrestle tonight.

The Miz Vs Daniel Bryan and we now get a “Michael Cole heel turn” and now the match starts.  Well, Daniel Bryan won the match, and it was very short.  The story here though was Michael Cole being a part of this.  Apparently he hates the fact that Daniel doesn’t have a TV, he also hates the fact that he is a vegetarian and he said “go back to the independents” well Michael, at least he has 10 years of experience and has paid his dues.  What has Michael done to get his job in WWE?  He will never be a Jim Ross, and quite frankly won’t even be a Todd Pettingill.  So after the match, Miz attacks Daniel and takes him outside, tried to get him to apologize to Cole, but Daniel reverses it and shoves Miz right into Michael Cole.  Very funny.

Michael is now acting like a wimp, saying he was “assaulted” twice in a week.

The Usos are out there now and they say the whole world is trippin’ because they want to know who they are.  Wow, they do look like The Rock, you can tell they are related.  They say their blood goes all the way deep and they aren’t the stereotype Samoans, they are in our universities, they are taking our scholarships and The Harts were at the wrong place, at the wrong time.  They say the respect where the Harts come from, but they have the respect their family doesn’t have.  I disagree with that right there.  Snuka’s daughter said that his father was put “in the corner” of the first Wrestlemania.  Yes, but he still got a cut of the money.  They said they were born and created for one purpose…dominate.

The Hart Dynasty come out and we are ready for a fight.

The Harts come out fighting, but the heels get the upper hand with an awesome Samoa drop and then all 3 climbed up on the ropes to give them the splash.  Incredible.

They then show a review of what happened tonight with Edge and Orton and it seems Randy won’t wrestle, so who will be Cena’s partner?

They showed a clip from the upcoming “Killers” movie which looks good.  Now Zack Ryder comes out.  He said he is not going to wait to get jumped, he is coming out to the ring and demanding Ashton to tell him who got the hit.  Ashton says you want to know?  Jerry Lawler comes in with a chair, thinking it’s him.  But it’s not, it’s The Great Khali.  I would have had Stone Cold Steve Austin, but okay.

It’s not Khali…Goldust comes out, but it’s not him either.  Zack apologizes to Ashton and he says he wants to know who it is.  Ashton says you will never see it coming, Alicia grabs the mic and says she is tired of this and drops the mic, but Alicia Fox gives him the Scissor Kick, and this is out to absolute silence.

Sheamus confronts Edge and says he is right, he is a bulldozer, but Edge tells him they should team up and hurt Cena, and Sheamus agrees, but if he attacks him, Sheamus will hurt Edge.  Main event match is next.

WWE Classic On Demand this week present a loving tribute to JYD, he died in a car crash back in 1998, and he truly is missed, but he was one of a kind.

Next week on Raw, the cast of A-Team will be there, I wonder if Rampage Quintin Jackson will bring up how he got beat this weekend by Rashad Evans?  Probably not.

So will John Cena’s tag team partner be?  Evan Bourne

Evan and John Cena won their match.  Evan got to truly shine here in this match, which is very refreshing to see.  Evan even got to do Air Bourne on Sheamus and pinned him.  A very good match and a feel good moment tonight.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

A much better show tonight than last week, we got to actually see a young WWE Wrestler be elevated right before our very own eyes.  Evan is very over with the crowd, so over in fact that he was drafted to Raw last summer, but they did absolutely nothing with him….until now.  The question is where does he go from here?  Do they move him back in the middle of the pack or do they truly give him the push and have him win a title?  Time will tell, but so far so good.

But the guest host concept is done, there is no point to it anymore now that Raw has a GM.  All Ashton did was stay backstage, the guy was a freaking producer of one of the most successful cable shows in some time in Punk’d, couldn’t you, I don’t know, do something more creative with him?

I liked seeing Vince come out and sort of plant the seed that down the road, Bret will have to make an unpopular decision, I am curious to see what happens.

Orton still not working makes me wonder if he’s going to do the match at the PPV.  My guess is no, but I also would start an angle to prepare without him.  Would they put Evan in there on the basis of the crowd reaction?

I hated Bryan-Miz match because the way they started it a few weeks ago, I was hoping they would build it up more, and what was with the whole idea of Bret giving him a 1 day contract?  Why?  And did their first match have to be 3 minutes long?  REALLY?

I loved seeing the Usos come out and give the Hart Dynasty another beatdown, their mic work needs some work, but they have charisma and can pull off the moves, so I like them getting the shot.

Next week will be a 3 hour show, and we’ll see how “Fan interactive” it is.  Speaking of that, did they even explain how that will work?  Regardless, a much better episode this week.  Comments?
