WWE Smackdown Live 10/4/16…Countdown to No Mercy

WWE Smackdown Live from San Diego, California

Tuesday, October 4th, 2016

Commentators:  Mauro Ranallo, JBL, and David Otunga

Tonight:  John Cena, AJ Styles, and Dean Ambrose face to face to face.

Match Number 1:  Bray Wyatt Vs Kane.

Randy Orton shows up on the Titantron, upside down.  He just wanted to see things in Bray’s world, and he can’t play mental games like Orton can.  So come on back here, and show me you can.  Bray is counted out, after Kane hits a Chokeslam.  This is not the proper way to book Bray.

Winner:  Kane (By Countout)

Segment Number 2:  Baron Corbin interview

Charly Caruso catches up to Baron, and says he has been on a roll, but Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon signed Jack Swagger.  His thoughts?  He will do whatever it takes to show Swagger how good he is.  Jack shows up, and tells them they need to continue to talk.  Baron said his talking only happens in the ring.  Jack said they can do that, later tonight.

Next:  Alexa Bliss Vs Nikki Bella

Segment 3:  Bray Wyatt Message

Your time has come Randy, your time has come.

Match Number 2:  Alexa Bliss Vs Nikki Bella

Carmella is on commentary, and she causes the DQ, going after Nikki Bella.  But here comes Becky Lynch to even the odds.

Winner:  Nikki Bella (By DQ)

Match Number 3:  Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella Vs Alexa Bliss and Carmella

This turns into a tag match.  Alexa and Carmella win when Alexa pins Becky with Twisted Bliss.  This Sunday, Becky Vs Alexa Bliss for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Title.

Winners:  Alexa Bliss and Carmella (Pinfall)

Segment Number 6:  Bray Wyatt

More mind games, with Bray looking for Orton, he sees his chair, and Randy locks the gate.  Randy asks Bray how does it feel to be the hunted.  Lord, have mercy…or not.  A camera shot shows Bray locked in that, but he screams at Randy nobody can help him.

Tonight:  Face Off with AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, and John Cena.  Also, Miz TV, with a Dolphumentary, with The Miz.

Segment Number 7:  Susan G. Komen and Daniel Bryan.

Daniel gives the women in the ring all WWE Smackdown Women’s Titles, for surviving Breast Cancer.  We can take action, by visiting Komen.org/WWE.

Tonight:  Jack Swagger Vs Baron Corbin.

Match Number 4:  The Vaudevillains Vs The Hype Bros

The Hype Bros win with Hype Ryder, and we see The Ascension watching from the ramp, perhaps doing some scouting?

Winners:  The Hype Bros (By Pinfall)

Next:  Miz TV

Segment Number 8:  Miz TV

The Miz and Maryse welcome us to Miz Tv.  This is a Dolphumentary.  He wants to bring out Dolph Ziggler.  Tonight is not about Miz, this is about Ziggler.  Because this Sunday, his career could be over.  But it won’t be forgotten, we see this video.

Video:  Dolphumentary

This video is all about Dolph Ziggler’s failures.  WWE:  24 Presents The Success of a Failure, this Sunday at No Mercy.  If Miz’s career is half as bad as Ziggler’s he would have left a long time ago.  I haven’t gone yet ass face, say another thing, and I will knock you out.  For every 10 bad things that happen, any time Ziggler sees a little kid wearing his shirt saying he is his hero, Ziggler says he is his hero.  Or every Make-A-Wish Foundation, a kid says Ziggler is his hero, he says to that kid he is his hero.  That is real, and the night after he won the World Heavyweight Title, the fans went nuts, and he still has goosebumps when he thinks about it.  But that is why this Sunday, he will win the IC Title, and keep his career.  And for all the good rides he has had, and great moments he has had in his career, he is not done yet.  Yes you are, you want to talk about those moments, say goodbye to them.  And they will end because of The Miz.  But he has just the thing to raise his spirits.

Kenny Dykstra and Mike Mondo from The Spirit Squad.  They give us a cheer for Ziggler.  And Miz said they could find only two of them, but Ziggler can join the Spirit Squad, and Ziggler asks if he wants to go right now, and we see Spirit Squad turn on him.  But Ziggler hits both Mikey and Kenny Superkicks.  And Ziggler goes after Miz, but the IC Champion slides out of the ring.  This Sunday, Career Vs IC Title.  Ziggler Vs The Miz.

Segment Number 9:  Bray Wyatt

Wyatt is flipping out, with the camera view.

Tonight:  Face to Face with Styles, Cena, and Ambrose, and next, Jason Jordan Vs Jey Uso

At No Mercy:  Official match, Nikkie Bella vs Carmella

Match Number 5:  Jason Jordan Vs Jey Uso

Jordan wins the match in quick fashion, with a roll up.  But now The Usos go after American Alpha, and clip Jordan’s knee.  But here comes Beauty and the Man-Beast to fight off The Usos.  This Sunday, for the Smackdown Tag Titles, The Usos Vs Beauty and the Man-Beast.

Winner:  Jason Jordan (By Pinfall)

Segment Number 11:  Bray Wyatt

Bray is singing, and says he missed Abigail, and is ready to come home.

Segment Number 12:  Randy Orton

Orton opens up the gate, and Bray is not there.

Video:  John Cena on Talking Smack last week.

Tonight:  Face Off with Styles, Ambrose, and Cena.

Match Number 6:  Jack Swagger Vs Baron Corbin

Swagger wins with the Patriot Lock, but the funny thing is Corbin did not tap.  He was trying to reach the ropes.  Great going Rudy Charles.

Winner:  Jack Swagger (By Submission)

Next:  Face Off with Cena, Styles, and Ambrose

Segmenr Number 14:  John Cena, AJ Styles, and Dean Ambrose

The WWE World Champion AJ Styles comes out.  He says Smackdown is the land of opportunity, and he agress.  He went to Summerslam, and beat John Cena to become the face that runs this place.  Then he went to Backlash, and he beat Dean Ambrose to become the new WWE World Champion.  Now he has a chance to beat Dean Ambrose and John Cena at the same time, at No Mercy.  But here comes Dean.  Dean calls AJ a chump, because of what he did, took the low road.  He had a 15-year career, won every title he could, and he did that.  But he’s not even mad at that.  He’s mad because Dean had AJ beat for 20 seconds last week, and John Cena had to come out, and ruin that.  Cena should be thanking him for bringing the WWE World Championship to Smackdown.  Cena comes out to this, and before he can say anything, Styles cuts him off.  AJ knows what John is going to say, he is chasing history.  But he’s not even in the same class as legendary Ric Flair.  No matter what happens, Cena isn’t even in the same class as Flair.  But he wouldn’t be worried about Ric Flair.  He needs to be focused on AJ Styles, he doesn’t chase history, he makes history.  Cena starts to say something, but Dean cuts him off.  He already knows what Cena will say, so let’s hear it.  Cena will say he didn’t cost Ambrose the title, Ambrose just got screwed.  So the spin will be spun, he can run office.  Cena undermines the young guys he sees as a threat.  He won’t do that, because Ambrose sees right through him.  You want to talk about loyalty?  While Cena takes off in lear jets, Dean is working in the ring, 0 work days with blood, sweat, and tears.  Mr. Respect, he won’t respect Cena because he sees right through him.  He’ll just watch Cena play John Cena on television.

Talk is cheap as Cena said, and the two men fight.  He hits an AA  on Ambrose, and Styles comes with a Phenomenal Forearm, and he tells us he is the WWE World Champion, Ambrose comes in, nails Dirty Deeds on the ramp, and this ends the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This just wasn’t a good show, the matches were crappy, only saving grace were the two promos with Styles-Ambrose-Cena, and The Miz and Ziggler segment.

Matches were very short, and crappy, even with Swagger Vs Corbin match being the best of the night, such a shitty ending to it.  Share me your thoughts?  You agree?  Disagree??

Quick Match Results:

Kane def. Bray Wyatt (By Countout)

Nikki Bella def Alexa Bliss (By DQ)

Alexa Bliss and Carmella def Nikki Bella and Becky Lynch

The Hype Bros def. The Vaudevillains

Jason Jordan def Jey Uso

Jack Swagger def Baron Corbin (Via Submission)

WWE Smackdown Live 9/27/16…Styles Vs Ambrose

WWE Smackdown Live                                                                             From:  Cleveland, Ohio                                                                           Commentators:  Mauro Ranallo, David Otunga, and JBL

Segment Number 1:  Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt

We begin the night with Randy Orton headed to the ring.   Bray Wyatt, I know how you like to talk about fear.  You think talking about mind games, he loses his focus.  He knows why he does these things, because Bray himself is afraid.  Nothing to be ashamed of, people are afraid about things.  Heights, snakes.  He knows Bray is afraid of one thing, and that is Orton.  If you’re man enough, get your ass out here, and face your fears.  Here comes Wyatt.  Bray has a story about Hansel and Gretel.  He heard Randy tell it to his kids.  Two children lost in the woods, leaving a trail of bed crumbs, so they can find their way back home.  Bray left his own trail of bread crumbs, because this is his world.  Bray is a GOD.  Does he want to hurt Bray?  Go ahead and do it, because of the sands of time doesn’t wait for anyone.  He’s got the whole world in his hand.  He’s got the whole wide world in his hands.  He’s got the whole world in his hands.  Randy goes after Bray.

Tonight:  Dean Ambrose Vs AJ Styles (WWE World Championship Match).

Segment Number 2:  Promo with Dean Ambrose.

Charly Caruso asks Dean what his thoughts are about tonight’s WWE World Title match.  Dean will take care of the new “Face Who Runs This Place”, and burt his own ego.  He is going to be the next WWE World Champion.

Match Number One:  8-Man Tag Match.  Beauty And The Man-Beast, and American Alpha Vs The Usos and The Ascension.

The Usos and The Ascension picks up the win here, with Jey Uso going after Heath’s leg, and giving him a Tequila Sunrise, making Heath tap out.  The two teams face off at No Mercy, for the Tag Team Titles.  And Slater now has a double wide, and a pool.

Winners:  The Usos and The Ascension

Segment Number 4:  Backstage Interview with John Cena.

Charly has Cena, he will be at ringside tonight for the Title match.  He doesn’t care if its AJ or Dean, at No Mercy, history will be made.  Because the 16-time Champ is here.

We pan right to The Miz putting a picture of himself on the wall of Quicken Loans Arena.

Segment Number 5:  Randy Orton

Randy is looking for Bray, and Rowan has him trapped.

Segment Number 6:  Bray Wyatt

We come right back to Bray saying he never learns, he loves to be sucked into the abyss.  But he never knows what’s in store for him tonight.

Match Number 2:  Tag Match with Carmella and Natalya Vs Nikki Bella and Naomi.

This didn’t seem to gel for some reason, but Carmella picks up the win hear, rolling up Nikki for the pin fall.

Winners:  Carmella and Natalya

Segment Number 8:  Randy Orton Looking For Bray Wyatt

Randy is looking all around, and sees red paint, with “I Am A God” and “Predator Or Prey”.  Randy opens a door in the boiler room, and sees a cutup poster of himself.  He opens another door, and Erik Rowan is waiting for him.  Randy closes it, and leaves.  The door is locked.

Next:  The Miz’s Hometown Celebration

Segment Number 9:  The Miz, Maryse, and Dolph Ziggler

Here comes the hometown boy, The Miz, and Maryse.

Video:  The Miz and his WWE career.

Cleveland, Miz is home.  And the Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA Finals.  1.3 million people lined the streets to celebrate Cleveland’s championship.  And this is all he gets?  Miz is the only hero in Cleveland.  Long before Cleveland was so desperate to win a championship, they welcomed back a traitor, Miz was winning the main event at Wrestlemania.  Miz is proud to celebrate day 173 of the Intercontinental Championship with the only 2 people he cares, his two parent.  Miz’s wife just informed him Dolph Ziggler’s parents are here too.  It must be hard for them, because they raised a world-class elite loser.

Enter Ziggler.  You can say anything about Ziggler, but you never talk like that to his parents, you never say that to his city.  If you have something to say, say it to his face.  Miz already said it when he defeated Ziggler.  It was a tainted victory, and Miz says it’s all in the record book.  Miz is a winner, and Ziggler is a loser.  He was almost at the top, but he keeps losing.  He’s like the opening act.  His career makes Miz sick.  His parents should be embarrassed, his friends should be embarrassed, but all he does is lose.  What can he do next?  Nothing else matters, Ziggler has nothing.  So unless Dolph ends his career, he has nothing left for him.  Miz is going to Hollywood, see ya around kid.  Miz starts to leave, but Ziggler tells Mike to wait.  He is right, this ring is everything Ziggler has.  This is what he loves, but sometimes things you love doesn’t always love you back.  You get nothing in return.  You have fans, friends, asking him why he still subjects this to his life?  It’s because he can’t stop.  Maybe his career didn’t turn out better, he thought he’d be a bigger star, but he just can’t stop himself.  But Miz, he puts that title up one more time.  You put that title up one more time.  Put that title up one more time, and Ziggler will put up his entire career.  Miz wants to make sure he means this, not that he takes a break.  He is done because of Ziggler.  Your title, or my career.  I either wind up champion, or he is done.  Either way, he is out of his mercy.  Miz’s title, or Ziggler’s career.  And if he can’t hang up his career, Miz will do it himself.

Tonight:  Dean Ambrose Vs AJ Styles (WWE World Championship Match)

Segment Number 10:  Bray Wyatt

When one door closes, another one opens Randy.  The door is open Randy, and he looks at him like a mouse in a maze.  Not sure which way to go.  And he laughs.

Match Number 3:  Becky Lynch Vs ??

The match never takes place, because Alyssa Bliss attacks her, and says she doesn’t deserve the Women’s Championship, because Alyssa does.

Winner:  No Contest

Tonight:  AJ Styles Vs Dean Ambrose (WWE World Championship Match)

Video:  Curt Hawkins

Curt is making a big announcement next week.

Segment Number 12:  Bray Wyatt

Bray is disappointed of Randy, he thought he was worthy of his appearance.  Someone worthy of having intelligence, but he was wrong.  The Viper has no venom.  Randy is taking all of the fun out of his little game.  Where are you Randy?  Where is the great predator he was hoping to see.  Someone wearing a sheep mask appears behind Bray.  It’s Orton.  The two men fight, with Randy laughing, and Bray running away.  I’ve got the whole world in my hands.  I’ve got the whole world in my hands.

Segment Number 13:  backstage Interview with AJ Styles

Charly is back, recapping what Ambrose and Cena said.  This is AJ Styles defending the WWE World Championship.  Recap of what happened, AJ beat up John Cena, then he beat John Cena.  Then AJ beat up Dean Ambrose, then he beat Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Title.  What we will hear at the end of the night is the ring announcer say the winner of the match, and still WWE World Heavyweight Champion, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles.

Match Number 4:  (WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match) AJ Styles Vs Dean Ambrose.

John Cena joins the crew.  What a great match here, Cena cost Ambrose the title when AJ started the shove on Cena.  John popped his head to the inside, distracted the ref for a moment, AJ rolls up Ambrose, with some help holding his pants, and win the match.  Ambrose gets right into Cena’s face, and Cena hits an Attitude Adjustment, on both AJ and Ambrose to close the show.

Winner:  And Still (WWE World Champion) AJ Styles.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

The second hour of the show picked up some steam.  We had a terrific promo from The Miz and Ziggler, setting up their big match at No Mercy.  I am fine with Ziggler winning too, as long as Miz is elevated too, because he is such a big star now.  World Title match too was fantastic, and a great way to make it clear John Cena is in this match too.  I even enjoyed Orton and Bray tonight.  Disappointed not much from Becky though.  What was your thoughts on tonight?  Send them here, and remember to follow me over at Foreverrebuilding.com and check out work there for the Cleveland sports scene, including my reports and Smackdown Vs Raw that comes out every week.

WWE Smackdown Live 9/20/16…Cena Vs Ambrose

Tonight, it’s John Cena Vs Dean Ambrose, and The Miz Vs Dolph Ziggler, for the Intercontinental Championship.

Smackdown Live is now.

We are live in Birmingham, Alabama, 3 weeks away from No Mercy.  Daniel Bryan is in the ring.

We have an official contract signing for the Women’s Championship match at No Mercy.  We will keep things civil, this is Smackdown Live, and this is a new era, and that is how it will be.

Becky Lynch comes out first, followed by Alexa Bliss.

Mauro Ranallo, JBL, and David Otunga welcome us to the show.

Bliss tries to get into Becky’s head, but it isn’t working.  Becky is preparing for a fight.

Becky doesn’t even fit as a champion.  Her role is to succeed, then fail miserably.  She gets back to what she does best, get back up, and fail miserably.  She wasn’t born to win, she is born to be a loser.

Becky agrees, she wasn’t born to be a champion.  She was born to live in a small house in Dublin.  She was born to work at a crappy job, and be miserable.  But she has watched far too much TV, and listened when they said she can achieve anything if she wanted to be, and she wanted to be champion real bad.  She wasn’t born to be a champion, but she has worked hard to get where she is at, and she wants this a whole lot more than she wants it.  And if she thinks Alexa will take this away from Becky, she will rip her head off.

Alexa tells Becky she was always destined to finish second place.  And at No Mercy, she will expose her what she was meant to be, a one hit wonder.

She throws the contract at Becky, and flips the table.  Signs it, and Becky goes right after her.  She signs it, and holds the Smackdown Women’s Title high in the air.

Becky Lynch Vs Alexa Bliss, at No Mercy.

The Usos are in action Vs American Alpha, next.

Backstage is The Miz and Daniel Bryan.

We have a problem, it’s the IC Title defense tonight.  Daniel said we can cancel the match, and The Miz is happy about that.  Daniel said they can cancel the match, and cancel the contract.  He didn’t read the fine print.  But that’s okay, they can cancel the match, and the contract.  But then again, Miz can’t do then what Daniel can’t do.  Is there a problem?

No.

Usos Vs American Alpha is now.

Winner gets Tag Team Title shot against Slater and Rhyno at No Mercy.

The Usos win the match with a Samoan Splash.  A fantastic match here that told the story of The Usos working on the injured knee of Chad Gable.  Chad wanted the tag, but Jason refused, in fear of Chad’s knee, and The Usos took over, and won.

At No Mercy, its Slater and Rhyno Vs The Usos.

Slater and Rhyno are ready for their match.  The Usos confront them, and said they got lucky at Backlash.  They have two options, either hand over their Tag Team Titles right now, or they take out Slater’s knee right now, so he and his 26 ragged ass kids can go back where they came from.

Tonight, its Randy Orton Vs Erick Rowan.

Jack Swagger joins us for Baron Corbin Vs Apollo Crews.

Corbin wins with End of Days, after destroying Crews.

Corbin goes face to face now with Swagger, and walks away.

Dean Ambrose is getting ready for his match with Cena.

Intercontinental Title is on the line tonight, The Miz Vs Ziggler.

Curt Hawkins is telling us more facts.

Naomi and Nikki are getting ready for their match, Charly Caruso asks how they keep this momentum against Carmella and Natalya.

Glowing is to be confident about yourself.  Natalya’s glow is corrupt, but she has an antidote for her.  She is going to make sure she feels the glow.

Carmella wants to make a name for herself, but Nikki isn’t the Nikki Bella she was a year ago.  She is fighting like this is her last match.  Nikki is glow, and Carmella is a bootleg.

Renee Young is with Dolph Ziggler.

Dolph hasn’t had many wins lately, but this is Smackdown Live, and anything can happen.  The Miz is desperate, he wants to cling onto that title, but Dolph is desperate too.  He wasn’t supposed to be a World Champion, but he did.  He wasn’t supposed to be a Kent State Hall of Famer, but he is.  There is only one thing left to do, win the whole damn thing.

Ziggler Vs The Miz, for the IC Title is now.

Miz used the spray Maryse had tried to use earlier, and hit Skull Crushing Finale for the pinfall victory.

A great match between these two.

Tonight, Cena Vs Ambrose, one on one.  But next, it’s Orton Vs Rowan.

RKO…BOOM…Match is done.

The lights go out, come back on, and we see the sheep mask in the ring.

Bray is on the screen.  The Viper strikes again.  They love you, but you and I Randy, we are about to embark of the most unholy of matrimonii.  Till death do us part, Randy.  But Randy is just a man, and Bray is a GOD that will never die.

Run.

Nikki and Naomi Vs Carmella and Natalya, next.

Carmella and Nattie are DQ’d when Carmella rammed Nikki on the barricade a few times.

The match ended as quickly as it began.

AJ Styles is polishing his title.  Charly Caruso interviews Styles.  He doesn’t have a rivalry with Cena and Ambrose, because he beat both of them.  The face who runs this place.  The Champ that runs this place.  He is the WWE World Champion.  All of those says he is superior to any of them.  So why should he face them in a Triple Threat match?  Its simple, that is the best way for him to lose the title.  So this is the best part, he gets to watch Ambrose and Cena beat the crap out of each other, and The Champ will watch it all.

Our main event, Cena vs Ambrose is now.

Ambrose rolls up Cena for the pinfall victory.

AJ Styles came from the crowd, laid both Ambrose and Cena out.

Daniel Bryan was impressed by what AJ did.  But last week, Shane McMahon promised Dean would receive a WWE World Title rematch.  That will happen, next Tuesday on Smackdown Live, in Cleveland.

Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds on Styles.

The show ends here.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Another great show tonight, beginning to end, everything had a purpose, and they are setting up No Mercy fantastic.

Be sure to check out http://ForeverRebuilding.com, and check out this week’s Smackdown Vs Raw later this week.  Share me your thoughts about the show here.

WWE Smackdown Live 9/13/16…The Face Who Runs The Place

Right after Backlash, we begin tonight’s program with a look over what happened at this past Sunday’s Backlash.  3 new champions were crowned, including AJ Styles becoming the new WWE World Champion.

We are live in Philly, and our new WWE World Champion, “The Face Who Runs The Place”, AJ Styles kicks off Smackdown Live.

Mauro Ranallo, JBL, and David Otunga welcome us to the show.

The Champ Is Here!!

I hate to say I told you so quietly, so let him yell it, I TOLD YA SO!!!  Everything he has said, he has done.  He told us he would beat John Cena at Summerslam, he did, and he is now the face who runs the place.  He told us he would beat Dean Ambrose, and he became the WWE World Champion.

If he told us he can beat Cena and Ambrose with an arm tied behind his back, you can bet its the gospel.  If he told us to buy a lottery ticket, because you’d be a millionaire, you would.

And now he is the champ who runs the camp.  Philly, did you hear him?  He is the champ who runs the camp.  World, he is the champ who runs the camp.

Here comes John Cena.

Philly is giving Cena some love, okay not really, but you know the deal.

You can hear all of these people, you want something that belongs to him, and he decided he wants it back.

AJ threw back his armband, and Cena wants the WWE World Championship, and he decided now is the time to take it back.  Because you know the greatest champion that has said “To be the man, you have to beat the man”, and he wants to make history.

He has one goal in mind, and that is to announce the 16-time Champ is here.

Here comes Dean Ambrose.

Ambrose goes right to AJ, and said he made the biggest mistake of his life.  He can take losing the title, but when he kicked him in the jewels, he stole it from him, and now is his enemy.  And you don’t want to make an enemy out of him.  Ambrose claims AJ did it because he knew he was beat, and there was nothing else he could have done

Cena pushes him to the side, and calls him out for losing after a nut shot.  Cena said Stone Cold was right for calling him out on his podcast.

Uh-Oh, please Dean, go there.

Ambrose didn’t step up, he stepped down, and showed WWE Universe he has no balls, brah.

Now the Philly crowd loves Cena.

I’m sorry, you must be mistaken Ambrose for someone who gives a damn about what Cena thinks, cause he doesn’t.  He has no patience for Cena.  He doesn’t care for his sanctimonious rah-rah bullcrap.  You know what Cena is to Ambrose?

A part-timer.

You’re better off doing those TV shows, those award shows, because you can’t keep up anymore.  WWE uses you as a corporate puppet that goes on morning shows, and look great on cereal boxes, but you can’t get it done anymore.  You can’t get past this chump, what makes you think you can get through him?  You’re nothing but a lazy….

And here comes Shane O’ Mac.

What’s up Philly?  Through all of this emotion, Shane had to come out.  At Summerslam, AJ and Cena tore the house down at Summerslam.  He beat him in the ring, clean.  Now the face who runs this place is getting to Shane, but he earned that.  But he got into Backlash, and tore the house down with Dean Ambrose.  But Styles took the easy way out.  It’s not how Shane would have done it, but he is the WWE World Champion.

And Dean, he knows emotions are getting high, but he is owned a rematch.  But that is not what is going to happen.  Because at No Mercy, he will defend the WWE World Championship against John Cena, and Dean Ambrose in a Triple Threat.

But since these two have so much animosity tonight, they will ne teaming up together to face AJ Styles and a partner of his choosing.  And since he is the champ who runs this camp, he is sure the GM will find a suitable partner for him.

Tonight, Randy Orton will address his status, and tonight, we will have a Fatal 5-Way to determine who the new Smackdown Women’s Champ Becky Lynch will face.

Rematch from Backlash, The Usos Vs The Hype Bros is now.

The Usos win the match with ease, hitting a splash.

Heath Slater contract signing is tonight.

We hear from The Miz, next.

Curt Hawkins is here!!

AWESOME!!!

Here comes the must-see Intercontinental Champion, The Miz.

For weeks, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, and most of WWE Universe has been calling The Miz a coward.  But he left Backlash with his beautiful wife by his side, and the Intercontinental Championship on his shoulder.  It is day 162 of being the Intercontinental Champion.  He has held this title more than 132 champions, including Pat Patterson and Dolph Ziggler.

Here comes Ziggler.

He is holding the IC Title, yet he isn’t really the champion.  But no matter what he does, he hear people in the back laugh, Miz knows why.  The ones you can’t pull the wool over you eye, the WWE Universe, you will never be seen as a top guy.  The WWE Universe knows about you.

Miz wants to make this clear, every show Miz is on, he is a top guy.  And if he lives and dies by what the WWE Universe thinks, well then they can bury Miz 6 feet under, just like Ziggler’s career.

Ziggler agrees, he is at crossroads in WWE.  But Miz still has to prove he is the man, so what do you say one more time?  No Maryse, no interference, no girlfriends.  Just The Miz and Dolph Ziggler.

Maryse wants to get this clear.  Dolph Ziggler just wants one more match?

Here comes Daniel Bryan.

I’m sorry he interrupted while his wife was speaking.  Because Maryse cheated to win, and she is the only reason The Miz is still the Intercontinental Champion, so Dolph will get his rematch.

Miz has an issue with this, he told Daniel at Backlash if he wins his title, he wants his contract renegotiated.  So in order for Ziggler to get what he wants, Miz needs to get what he wants.

This prestigious Intercontinental Championship isn’t going anywhere until The Miz gets what he wants.

AJ Styles recruits Baron Corbin to be his tag partner. tonight.

Corbin wants that title, he’d rather be his opponent than his partner.

It’s now Corbin Vs Crews.

The match never takes place, because Corbin took Crew out of commission, and here comes Jack Swagger.

As of 12:01 AM, he is officially a part of Smackdown Live, and we will see a side of Jacl we have never seen.

Coming up next, Becky Lynch will have a few words.

Charly Caruso is with Becky.

How does she feel defying the odds, and become the first Smackdown Women’s Championship.

On Sunday, she was beat down by 5 other performers.  Five became four, then three, then two, and there was one.  They say the journey is better than the destination.

Well not when this is the destination, the Women’s Championship.  Philly is a fighting town, so come at me, bros.

5-Way Women’s match is up now.

Alexa Bliss took the cheap pin after Carmella knocked out Nikki, Alexa rolled her over, and pin.  Alexa Bliss will face Becky Lynch at No Mercy.

AJ finds Kane.

Kane is not impressed by AJ’s offer, and walks away.

Heath Slater’s official contract signing is next.

Shane McMahon introduces the new Smackdown Tag Team Champions, he tells Heath everything is in order for him to sign his contract, and Heath does.  It’s official.  Heath thanks some people, including the fans, Rhyno, and his family.  Now they can get that double-wide trailer.

Just then, The Ascension come out.  They challenge Heath and Rhyno to a tag team title shot, and Shane officially makes the match, now.

Slater and Rhyno win when Rhyno gores Viktor, and picks up the win.

AH Styles still doesn’t have a tag partner, but Daniel Bryan has one for AJ…some goofy guy named “James”.

Randy Orton address the nation, next.

Bray, Bray, Bray, all you do is talk and say you’re The Face of Fear?  He finally knows what that means, Bray is the Face of Fear, he is afraid of Orton.  That is why he attacked him from behind, but he will never be as good as Orton.  So Bray, come on out if you have the balls.

Lights go out, and Bray is on the screen.

A wise man knows when to stay down Randy.  And this world we live in is cruel.  I know this, I am giving you a gift.  I gave you a way out, and all you had to do was take it, but you didn’t.  And you chose to embarrass him, and he didn’t like that.  But now he knows what he has to do.  Don’t sleep Randy, do not sleep.

The spotlight comes back on, and Bray is behind Orton.  The lights go out, come back on and we see Erick Rowan nail Orton from behind.

But one RKO out of nowhere.

Our main event, AJ Styles and “James” Vs Cena and Ambrose is now.

Before James Ellsmore can come to the ring, The Miz attacks James, and hits a Skull Crushing Finale, saying he is the main event.

Cena and Ambrose win when Cena gives Miz an Attitude Adjustment.

Ambrose then gives Cena Dirty Deeds to send a message.

At No Mercy, it will be a Triple Threat match for the WWE World Title.  AJ Styles Vs Dean Ambrose Vs John Cena.

The show ends here.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Another great show this week, top to bottom.  I wanted to see more interaction between Ambrose and Cena, but going by what we saw at the end of the show, it will happen.

The Miz has become a star, with Maryse by his side, IC Title over his shoulder, and the things he says.  He is fun to watch.

Alexa Bliss gets the nod, and should have a good match with Becky Lynch.

A fun show tonight.  Do you agree?  Disagree?  Send me your thoughts, and don’t forget to tune in read my work this week over at http://ForeverRebuilding.com click on Ringside Seats, and check out my latest Smackdown Vs Raw report.

WWE Summerslam 8/21/16

The biggest party of the summer comes to the bright lights of New York.

Tonight, Summerslam is here.  15 years in the making, Brock Lesnar Vs Randy Orton.  We will also see the first WWE Universal Champion be crowned, when Seth Rollins faces Finn Balor.  And for the WWE Championship, Dolph Ziggler will face Dean Ambrose.

The Summerslam Kick-Off show is upon us, so keep checking here throughout the night.

We are live at the Barclays Center.  Renee Young welcomes us to the Summerslam Kick-Off show.  Tonight’s panelists are Booker T, Lita, and Jerry “The King” Lawler.

Tom Phillips is at the Social Media Lounge.  Tonight’s guest will be the WWE Women’s Champion, “The Boss” Sasha Banks.

One the Kick-Off show, we have a 12-man tag match.  Also The Dudley Boyz Vs Sami Zayn and Neville.

Best of 7 Series kicks off tonight, with Cesaro Vs Sheamus, on the Kick-Off show too.

3 matches in the next 2 hours.

Tonight, John Cena Vs AJ Styles, one on one.

Video profiling the match is showing now.

Next, breaking down the IC match between The Miz Vs Apollo Crews.

Apollo Crews last week showed The Miz who he is.

Tonight, Apollo has an opportunity to become the new IC Champion.

Tom Phillips is with Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens.

Chris apologized for getting Tom’s name wrong.  Sorry Phillip.

He also has to apologize to Enzo Amore for saying he couldn’t be a certified G.  He googled it, and saw you can be a certified G for $89.99.  So he has a certified G.

He’s talking about chemistry, something you can’t teach.

KO said you can, he had a 96 in chemistry in high school.  But not that chemistry, Jericho and Owens has a bond.  And they will take out the two hometown boys.  Enzo will get home, and see his father is crying, and his mother is wearing a Kevin Owens T-shirt.

And they will teach something else, IT.

JBL, Mauro Ranallo, and David Otunga are ready to call for the 12-man tag match.

The Vaudevillains, The Ascension, and Breezango Vs Hype Bros, The Usos, and American Alpha.

The Hype Bros, The Usos, and American Alpha win the match when Jey Uso stole the pin from Chad Gable.  And now all six men are bickering among each other.

The Tag Team Championship are coming to Smackdown Live.

Tonight, Ziggler vs Ambrose for WWE World Championship.

Video footage is showing now.

How small is that window closing for Dolph Ziggler?

He could very well be a dangerous opponent for Dean Ambrose.

We can still post questions for “The Boss” with Sasha being a guest in the Social Media Lounge.

Baron Corbin shows up.  His match with Kalisto has been cancelled tonight.  He is a man about making money.  He tells Kalisto he hopes he is comfortable sitting at his couch with his wife.  He is going to put him permanently.

Tonight, United States Championship, with Reigns Vs Rusev.

Video footage is being shown from 2 weeks ago.

Tonight, Women’s Championship is on the line, Sasha Banks Vs Charlotte.

Video of these two are showing.

“The Boss” is answering questions now in the Social Media Lounge.

Cathy Dennis is with Cesaro.

Cesaro has something to prove with Sheamus, and tonight sets the tone for the rest of the series.  But this is the perfect way to settle this.  Less talk, more wrestling.

Cesaro Vs Sheamus, Best of 7 Series is tonight at the Kick-Off show.

But next, The Dudley Boyz Vs Zayn and Neville.

Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves handle their portion of the show, with tag team action, now.

Neville and Sami Zayn win after The Dudleys had some miscommunication again, and we had The Helluva Kick, and Red Arrow.

Tonight, Rollins Vs Balor for the first WWE Universal Championship.

We see the video footage of the two right now.

We are just 33 minutes away from WWE Summerslam.

Sheamus Vs Cesaro is now.

Sheamus picks up the win with a Brogue Kick.  He takes the lead in the Best of 7 Series to 1-0.

Who is going to win tonight, Brock Lesnar Vs Randy Orton?

Orton Vs Lesnar video is showing.

WWE Summerslam is now.

We are live at the Barclay Center, in Brooklyn.

Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves join us for the show.

Brooklyn’s own Enzo and Cass begin the show.

My name is Enzo Amore, and I am a certified G, and a bona-fide stud, and you can’t teach that.  This guy here is Big Cass.  He is 7 feet tall, and you can’t teach that.

Badda bing, realist cats in the room, how ya doin?

This match is dedicated to all the teachers who told them they’d never make anything of themselves.  Dedicated to the ones tryin’ to make money for the kids, so they can eat food for dinner.  How ya doin’?

This is a dream, and that dream will become a reality.  How ya doin’?

There was once this man named Blue Eyes who sang to New York, saying if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere, how ya doin’?

They are ready for JeriKO.

And Cass tell us there is one word to describe them, and he’ll spell it out for us.

S.A.W.F.T.

Tag team match is set, Enzo and Cass Vs JeriKO.

JeriKO win the match, when Owens launched Jericho into a Code Breaker.

Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan run into Mick Foley.  And they are greeted by Jon Stewart and his son.  Stephanie McMahon runs into all of them.

New Day interrupt the fun, telling us we all need to use the power of positivity.

Next, Women’s Championship is on the line.  Sasha Banks Vs Charlotte.

Charlotte wins the match, and the title when she rolled Sasha up, and pinned her, even when Sasha had the Bank Statement on Charlotte.

An incredible match here between the two women.  We even saw a Razor’s Edge off the top rope.

Charlotte is now a 2-time Women’s Champion.

A moment with The Club.

Doctor to Doctor to Phenomenal.

And they run into Finn Balor.

Hmmmm.

Mauro Ranallo, JBL, and David Otunga welcome us to their portion of the show.

The Miz Vs Apollo Crews, for the Intercontinental Championship is now.

The Miz retains his IC Title with a Skull Crushing Finale.

John Cena Vs AJ Styles is up now.

AJ Styles just beat John Cena, clean with a Styles Clash and a Phenomenal Forearm.

What an incredible match, and what a statement.  Styles kicked out of the Super AA, and Cena was beside himself, trying to figure out what to do.  Styles escaped from another AA, and picked up the clean win.

Incredible!!

Cena took off his armband, and put it in the middle of the ring, and saluted the crowd.  What a moment.

Footage from the two fans who won the Cricket Wireless WWE sweepstakes.

Oh lord, time for Jon Stewart.  Why?

Jon keeps talking, and nobody cares.

Jon is an honorary member of New Day, taking the place of Big E.

WWE Tag Team Championship match is now.  New Day Vs Gallows and Anderson.

New Day are DQ’d when Big E. comes back, and kicks Anderson and Gallows’ asses.

Big E. takes a swig of the balls jar, and spits it out.

New Day are still Tag Team Champions.

They saved Jon Stewart.

Ziggler Vs Ambrose, for the WWE World Championship is up now.

Ambrose wins the match, retains his title with Dirty Deeds.

A bit of a short match, and the crowd did not seem to care too much.

Footage from WWE Week in New York.

6-Woman tag match is up now.  Naomi, Becky Lynch, and Carmella Vs Natalya, Alexa Bliss, and ???

Nikki Bella.

So she is a heel, again.

Nikki, Nattie, and Alexa win with a Rack Attack.  Nikki pins Carmella.

Still 2 title matches are left, and the big match.  But we see segment from last week on Raw, with Reigns and Rusev.

Maria Menounos interviews Rusev.

He is ticked that Reigns mocked he and his wife Lana’s nuptials, and ruins her wedding dress.  Tonight, he will pay.

But first, for the WWE Universal Championship.  Balor Vs Rollins.

We have “The Demon King” in our presence.

Finn Balor just made history, being the first Universal Champion, hitting Coup De Gras, pinning Seth.

I loved the finish, a slow build, but an incredible ending.  I can’t wait to see the rematch.

We get to hear from the Summerslam panelists.

United States Championship is up now.  Roman Reigns Vs Rusev.

The match is ruled a no contest, when Reigns and Rusev attack each other when the action starts.  But Reigns destroys Rusev with a chair shot, and acts like a heel, with Rusev being the face.

After Rusev gets up in his own power, Reigns comes right back out, and spears Rusev.

If this was designed to be a double turn, it would be awesome.

We will see tomorrow.

Our main event, 15 years in the making…Orton Vs Lesnar is now.

Brock Lesnar won the match by TKO.  Orton hit 2 RKOs, one of them on the announce table, and Lesnar took over from there.  Making Randy bleed, and the referee stopped the match.

Shane came out after the match to check on Randy, and Brock blocked his path, even hitting a F-5 on Shane, and this ended the match.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Overall, a fun night of action.  Surprised to see how the main event ended this way.  Fans were chanting for Goldberg, who didn’t show up.  So this would lead me to guess we will see Brock Vs Shane at Survivor Series?

Styles Vs Cena was amazing, as was Charlotte Vs Sasha.  Balor Vs Rollins was amazing, but Ziggler Vs Ambrose was very disappointing for some reason.

But where do we go from here?  What were your thoughts on the show?  Send them to me, and I will talk to you tomorrow.

WWE Smackdown Live 8/16/16…Ambrose Vs Ziggler…Miz TV

We are 5 days away from Summerslam, the fine folks of Smackdown will be closing up their Road to Summerslam, with Miz TV.  Miz will have Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler as his guests.  We will also see John Cena Vs Alberto Del Rio.

Smackdown Live is now.

Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan have Randy Orton sign the official contract to face Brock Lesnar.

Heath Slater has a bag of fruit, to offer a gift to his two bosses.  He expects a Smackdown contract, because he stood toe to toe with Brock Lesnar.

Daniel and Shane told him they are not interested.  I guess are in a bit of a pickle here then.

Orton has an idea, since he bit into an apple.

We cut right to the music intro.

We are live in Austin, Texas.  Mauro Ranallo, David Otunga, and JBL welcome us to the show.

Miz TV starting the program.

Miz starts to welcome us to the show, but Dean Ambrose interrupts.

We are only a few days away from Summerslam, and Dolph Ziggler interrupts the fun.

Sorry to interrupt, actually, Ziggler isn’t.

Dean isn’t in the mood to talk, the two men go face to face.  Miz interrupts, reminding us this is Miz TV.  He invited them to talk, not fight, but talk.

Dolph Ziggler, who would have thought even 6 months ago, he would compete for the WWE Championship, at Summerslam?

Many people thought, including Miz he would turn out to be a flop.  But Ziggler proved the critics wrong in a career resurgence.  But what happens if he fails?

Ziggler isn’t worried about after Summerslam, he is only worried about this Sunday at Summerslam.

There is the new Dolph Ziggler, the fire, the pizazz, the determination.  Many people think this is the new Dolph Ziggler, but he doesn’t buy it.

Miz gives a OOOOOHHHHH

Shut your mouth, Miz.

What do you want Ziggler to admit, Dean?  That he used the company never pushed him excuse, that he always uses that as an excuse.  Dean was right about everything he said.  But he will be responsible for giving him that extra push he needed to beat Dean.

So let’s say Ziggler is right, where do we go from there?  You think the critics will leave you alone?  They won’t, that is where the real pressure comes, and we know Ziggler doesn’t like pressure.  He just caves in, and makes another crappy movie.  Look at this big chip, it just caves you in, because Ziggler doesn’t like pressure.  But he is going to continue to feel it, because Dean will beat him, and he will prove something to all of us.  He never wanted it bad enough, and Ziggler won’t want it bad enough.

Dean will feel pressure, but he will use everything to put Ziggler away, but it won’t be enough.  There will never be anything big enough to put Ziggler away.  When he is looking for one last move.

BAM!!  Superkick!!

This Sunday, you will realize Ziggler is that damn good.

Tonight, John Cena Vs Alberto Del Rio.  Also tonight, Heath Slater Vs Randy Orton.

But next, it’s a 12-man tag, featuring the Tag Team Division.

During the commercial, The Miz was talking about his opponent for Summerslam, even forgetting his name.  It’s Apollo Crews, and he shows up to let him know who he is.

If you’re keeping score at home, we have The Usos, Hype Bros, and American Alpha taking on The Vaudevillains, The Ascension, and Breezango.

American Alpha pick up the win for their team, with Grand Amplitude.

The Tag Team division has been lit.

Dean Ambrose was Superkicked earlier tonight, and he is not happy.  He faces Erick Rowan, tonight.

But next, Eva Marie makes her Smackdown Live in-ring debut.

It’s all red.

Naomi is Eva’s opponent.

Naomi has a new entrance, complete with glow in the dark, and is now a face.

But the awesome announcer guy is now introducing the glorious Eva Marie.

Eva Marie is unable to compete, due to traffic.

Oh my gosh, this is funny.

Flashback of Hell in a Cell 2015, when it was Cena Vs Del Rio for the United States Championship, and Del Rio won the match.

Del Rio runs into AJ Styles.

Styles reminded Del Rio beat up John Cena at Hell in a Cell 2015.  Del Rio isn’t impressed.

He doesn’t need Styles’ pep talk, and AJ reminds Del Rio he is the main event of Summerslam, and Del Rio isn’t even on the card.

Also tonight, Ambrose Vs Rowan, but it will be Orton Vs Slater, next.

Curt Hawkins is coming back to Smackdown, soon.

Orton Vs Slater is now.

Orton is DQ’d, because he thought Slater was Lesnar.

Does that mean Slater gets a contract?  It doesn’t matter, Orton takes Slater outside.  This won’t end well for Heath.

Draped DDT, off the barricade.

Orton is sending Slater to Suplex City, and mocks Brock.

RKO!!

Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan interrupt things.

Austin, Texas….we’re here.

Heath Slater is getting checked on, hurting all over.  Slater won, and we see Shane and Daniel congratulating him on his victory.  Heath thinks Daniel Bryan is Mick Foley.  He needs a pen, Shane hands him the contract.  Heath believes Shane is Stephanie.

But Shane takes it away.

That is cold.

During the break, Bray crossed paths with Orton.

Rowan Vs Ambrose is now.

A competitive match, but Dirty Deeds always does the trick.

Bray is looking at the sheep mask, and leaves Rowan.  Is this the end of The Wyatt Family?

Tonight, Cena Vs Del Rio.

But next, Carmella and Becky Vs Natalya and Alexa.

Carmella and Becky Lynch Vs Natalya and Alexa Bliss is now.

Carmella and Becky win with the Disarmer, making Nattie tap out.  Eva Marie did show up, so the traffic evaporated.  Naomi countered Eva though, and Becky pulled off the win.

Oh lord, Kalisto is getting beat up by Baron Corbin, again.

This is WWE Summerslam Week, on WWE Network.

Video of Lesnar Vs Orton:  15 Years In The Making is showing, now.

Orton Vs Lesnar, this Sunday.  I can’t wait.

Added to the card this Sunday, 6 women match.  Carmella, Becky, and Naomi Vs Natalya, Alexa, and Eva.

AJ Styles comes to the ring, to watch our main event.  That is next.

WWE NXT Takeover:  Brooklyn II is this Saturday, at 8:00.

Cena Vs Del Rio is now.

Cena picks up the win with Attitude Adjustment, and after the match, AJ hits a Springboard Phenomenal Forearm, and lays out Cena.

AJ is sick and tired of hearing the future goes through John Cena.  At Summerslam, after beating Cena, AJ will be the face that runs this place.  Cena says he has a passion of WWE?  That is great, AJ will make this a prison for Cena.  Because your time is up, my time is now.

He lifts Cena up, but John flips up, and hits an AA on AJ.

Now goes the table, John sets up the ring steps, and puts AJ through the table with another AA.

Cena is still breathing, and we end Smackdown here.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

No matter what happens, John Cena showed us he is still the face who runs this place.  That will never change.  But I am looking forward to seeing Cena vs Styles.

I absolutely loved this show tonight.  They did everything they needed to do to hype Summerslam.  But my favorite segment still was Miz TV, with Ambrose and Ziggler, setting up their Summerslam main event.  I am also becoming a bigger fan of Heath Slater than I was before.  And what else can I say about Eva Marie?  My goodness, that was hilarious, how the awesome announcer guy told us she was stuck in traffic.

We are now set for this weekend.  If you want to check on my other work, please go to ForeverRebuilding.com, and click on Ringside Seats.  I am doing the new piece on Smackdown Vs Raw, where I tell you which show was the best show of the week.  That appears later this week.

I will not be covering Impact Wrestling this week, but look to continue that next week.

I will be on here for Saturday night’s WWE NXT Takeover:  Brooklyn II.  Send me your thoughts.

Daley “The Milkman” Millman is talking in the ring.  He is licensed to compete, but nobody wants to compete.  But he isn’t leaving here until someone comes to the ring and compete.

Who is this guy?

He’s in his tidy whities, and here comes Kane.

WWE Smackdown Live 8/9/16…The Lunatic And The Show-Off Team Up

After a boring Raw last night, Smackdown has a chance to supreme on top again, will they?

Smackdown Live starts in 5 minutes.

We enter the night with Randy Orton entering the building, and that new woman asks Randy how does he stay focused, knowing he is about to face Lesnar at Summerslam.

Orton said Brock may be big and bad, but it only takes one RKO to get to Viperville.

Alberto Del Rio interrupts, and says that sounds like it’s Disney World.

Randy proposes he finds out first hand, with a match.  Del Rio says let’s see if he can do it, with a broken arm.

We are live in Bakersfield, California.  Mauro Ranallo, JBL, and David Otunga welcome us to the show.

Bray Wyatt comes out to the ring, with Erick Rowan.

Last week on Smackdown, Dolph Ziggler put his Summerslam spot on the line with Bray Wyatt, and Ziggler won.  But Erick Rowan came out to counter.

I would like to make something very clear.  Last week, I did not fall to Dolph Ziggler.  Wyatt was a victim.  Ziggler was desperate, and he rammed Bray’s head into the steel, because he knew it was the only way.  Then he realized everything had been taken from Bray again.  But what Dolph doesn’t understand is Bray is a God.  And you can’t ever kill a God.  Ask your friend Dean Ambrose, because he knows Bray very well, he still has teeth marks on his side.  And what you two don’t understand is this is Bray’s show.  There is no blue, there is no red, it’s Bray Wyatt Vs the whole damn world.

Here comes the WWE Champion, Dean Ambrose.

Everything has changed, we have Bray Wyatt in the ring, as always saying some mambo jumbo, as always.  Then we have Erick Rowan standing by his side, but Bray thinks of himself as a victim.  Well listen up, Smackdown Live isn’t his show, it’s the WWE Universe’s show, and the champ runs this show, so Dean Ambrose runs this show.

Wyatt dares Dean to come to the ring, and make him shut up.

Dean is smarter, he won’t come to the ring by himself, but then again the more Bray sprays out his words, the more he wants to shove these big words down his throat.

Here comes Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler just walks to the ring, and fights the Wyatts.

Dean joins in.

I smell a tag team match, later tonight.

Ziggler nails a Superkick on Ambrose, accidentally.  And nails Rowan, but Sister Abigail on Ziggler.

Tonight, Orton Vs Del Rio.

And next, American Alpha are in action.

Ziggler and Ambrose face off, with Ziggler telling Dean that wasn’t on purpose.  Ambrose said he owes Dolph one, and Ziggler dares him to say no other time than the present.

Shane O’ Mac and Daniel Bryan rush in, inform them to save that for Summerslam.  Tonight, they will team up to face Wyatt and Rowan.  And if you don’t like that, then screw you.

Mikey O’ Shea and Mike Vega will face American Alpha.

The Ascension, proving to us they still have a job in WWE come out.  Here comes The Vaudevillains, followed by The Hype Bros.

All watching this match closely.

American Alpha wins the match, and here we go, all tag teams are fighting among each other.

American Alpha are left standing.

Tonight, Orton Vs Del Rio.

But next, the second chance in-ring Smackdown debut of Eva Marie.

Renee Young is with The Miz and Maryse.

Renee Young wants to look at Apollo Crews, The Miz’s opponent, Miz wants to look at Maryse.

Do you blame him?

Video of Apollo Crews is being shown.

Maryse and Miz are looking at each other, which is hilarious.

Eva Marie is going to face Becky Lynch.

The glorious entrance of Eva Marie.

Oh wait a second, Eva has a wardrobe malfunction, Rudy Charles asks for a towel.

No match, Eva can’t compete in the match.  Another no contest.

The new announcer asks Becky about feeling frustrated for not competing, Becky is here to compete.  So she challenges anyone to come out, and she will wrestle them.

It’s Alexa Bliss.

She is Team Blue’s hottest star, and here to bring bliss to Smackdown Live.  And she feels nothing better to knock out Smackdown Live’s first woman draft pick.

Becky Vs Bliss is next.

Eva Marie’s entrance comes out again, and Alex wins with Twisted Bliss.

Charlie Caruso is the woman’s name.  Eva feels bad about not facing Becky.  Alex beat her to the punch, but don’t worry, she will get her shot next week.

Tonight, Ambrose and Ziggler Vs Bray and Rowan.

But next, Orton Vs Del Rio.

We see the footage the last few weeks with Orton and Brock.

Orton Vs Del Rio is now.

Del Rio is DQ’d when he nails Orton with a chair, hurting that arm.

RKO out of nowhere!!

Rhyno is tuning up for his match with Heath Slater.  Heath reminds Rhyno that if he beats him, he can get a contract to Smackdown Live.  Heath tells Rhyno he has kids, and he can’t let him down.  He just bought a pool.  Rhyno just won the Michigan primary, he can’t let his constituents down.  Heath said his 4 kids are his constituents.  But Heath just said he has 2 kids.  Does Heath have an in ground pool?  Does it matter, Rhyno can’t let his people down.

Slater Vs Rhyno is next.

Earlier today, The Miz entered the building, and he runs into Scooby-Doo.

Scooby shoves Miz into Mystery Machine, and takes his car.

Slater Vs Rhyno is now.

Rhyno picks up the win with a Gore.  Slater is not a member of Smackdown Live.

We cut to Wyatt and Rowan.

Wyatt tells Rowan he has always been a good solider, but tonight he is asking him to fight.  To sacrifice his life, if he needs to.  To show the world that they are here to fight.  There is a cause for this fight.

Run.

Ben-Hur trailer, again, this movie will not do well in theaters.  You can’t make remakes from classics.

Daniel Bryan and Shane are impressed with Heath Slater’s work, they might even offer him a WWE Smackdown job.  Heath tells them he is the hottest free agent, he doesn’t need them.  He has 7 kids to feed, and will join The Suicide Squad, if he needs to.

More women’s action, with Carmella Vs Natalya.

Natalya tried to attack Carmella again, but you can’t do that two times.

Bell is run, match is official.

Carmella makes Nattie tap out to a leg lock.

Next, Cena Vs Styles Summerslam Preview.

Renee Young introduces us to the video of Styles Vs Cena, set for Summerslam.

We come back, and Baron Corbin is beating Kalisto a pulp, getting even for costing him at the Intercontinental Championship last week.

Well, alright.

Main event time, Ziggler and Ambrose face The Wyatts.

Ziggler hits a Superkick on Rowan for the pinfall victory on his team.

Ziggler pats Ambrose on the back, but “The Lunatic Fringe” hits Dirty Deeds, to show “The Show-Off” he is still the king on the mountain.

In 12 days, Ambrose Vs Ambrose for the WWE Championship at Summerslam.

The show ends here.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

A fun show tonight, much better than last night’s Raw.  We have a little friction between champion and challenger, setting up Summerslam.  No Apollo Crews, and speaking of Miz, why didn’t he act upset Scooby took his car in his segment with Renee and Maryse, and who let him out of The Mystery Machine?

I know, who cares.

I like where they are going here with Heath Slater.

I expect both shows to be good next week, since it’s the final build to Summerslam.  What were your thoughts on tonight’s show?  Send them to me.
