WWE Monday Night Raw 8/12/13…CM Punk Vs Paul Heyman

We are 6 days away from Summerslam. Expect some big segments tonight, and we should end with the CM Punk Vs Paul Heyman fight. Not a match, but a fight.

Here we go.

We are live in Sacramento tonight with the Number One Contender to the WWE Title kicking the show off.

It will be Daniel Bryan Vs Wade Barrett starting the show off.

The Raw General Manager Brad Maddox is the special guest referee for the match.

Wade Barrett wins the match with a very fast rollup and count by Brad Maddox.

Daniel has Brad cornered here, and charges after him but Brad runs away.

Tonight, Miz TV will have John Cena and Daniel Bryan as his guests.

We will also see CM Punk Vs Paul Heyman, but next….Damien Sandow Vs Randy Orton. Battle of the Mr. Money in the Banks.

Orton wins the match with a RKO when Cody tried to take the briefcase, this allowed Damien to turn his back, and well we know how that is.

RVD is stretching, getting ready for his match later tonight, which is a 20 man Battle Royal to determine who faces Dean Ambrose for the United States Title at Summerslam.

The Shield are backstage with a message of their own. They are tired of the same, old formula where the same superstars are around. This is a new generation, and they challenge anyone to step into the ring with them for the WWE Tag Team Titles.

When we come back, Michael Cole, JBL, and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to the show. Summerslam will feature The Beast Vs The Best. We see the same footage from Smackdown with Brock Lesnar.

You remember that, right? The “exclusive” video that is so exclusive that we see it again on Raw?

Well, this time, Josh Matthews is standing by with CM Punk.

Tonight, he is facing his good friend Paul Heyman. Paul will find out why he is the best in the world, and invites Brock Lesnar to come out and have a good seat.

The Great Khali and Natalya are headed to the ring, they will be in action, next.

Great Khali and Natalya will face AJ Lee and Big E. Langston.

And of course, logic is telling us that AJ and Big E. wins, since they have a Summerslam match with Dolph and Kaitlyn, but Natalya and Khali win with AJ tapping out to the Sharpshooter….twice.

I guess the referee screwed up, because Natalya uses the move twice.

Vince McMahon is headed to the ring, next.

This Sunday, we have an hour-long Summerslam Kick-Off, featuring Shawn Michaels and Booker T as 2 of the guest panelists, and the United States Title will be on the line, with Dean Ambrose facing the winner of the Battle Royal tonight.

Vince comes out, and states we had a bit of a controversy concerning the match earlier tonight and wants Brad Maddox to come out.

Brad does come out, and admits he made a mistake, he was over-excited about being the special guest referee tonight, and did a fast count. He wants a second chance, to be the special guest referee at Summerslam.

The crowd doesn’t want to see it.

Vince wants Brad to be impartial, and he’ll call it down the line, despite feelings for Cena or Daniel Bryan. Brad said he will call it down the middle, and be impartial, therefore, Brad Maddox will be the special guest referee at Summerslam.

Here comes HHH.

HHH is not here to air any dirty laundry, the crowd is happy to see him. They haven’t agreed on many things lately, but given the importance of this match Sunday than the WWE Championship, he has to agree that he needs someone to take charge of this match. He does think he needs someone to be impartial, and call it down the line, and someone with the guts that will not be intimidated by anyone, or anything. He just doesn’t think he is referring to Brad Maddox, he thinks he is referring to himself.

And with that, HHH pedigrees Brad Maddox.

Vince storms off, and leaves Brad out to dry, which is funny.

Miz TV tonight, with John Cena and Daniel Bryan.

Kane is facing Titus O’ Neil.

Kane wins with a Chokeslam, and The Wyatt Family make their presence known.

But this time, Kane was ready for them and he bailed before Rowan and Harper could go after him. Bray loved it though, and was laughing while the flames went through the ring.

Summerslam, Kane and Bray Wyatt collide in a ring of fire match.

Josh Matthews are with the new stars of “Total Divas”, The Bella Twins.

The Bellas say they own the divas, and Natalya challenges Brie to a match at Summerslam, and we will find out who runs the divas. She can bring her sister, and rat friend of hers, who is Eva Marie, and she will bring hers….The Funkettes.

The match is on, and Brie slaps Natalya.

The World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio makes his way to the ring, he will face Kofi Kingston.

Del Rio wins with a Cross Arm Breaker.

Mark Henry is stretching, getting ready for the 20 man Battle Royal later tonight.

When we come back, we see a nice video about Christian.

Renee Young interviews Christian, and he said that video showed him how much hard work he has put the last few year coming back from an injury. At Summerslam, he will become a 3-time World Champion, and will prove that all he needed was one more match.

Del Rio laughs and speaks in Spanish, telling him after Summerslam, he will show us he won’t have any more matches.

Zeb Colter brings out the Real Americans, and reminds us that Sacramento is no better than any American town, who allows 2.5 million illegal immigrants into our country, but now we will see The Real Americans in action.

We The People.

They will face The Uso’s, one more time.

The Uso’s win the match with a rollup, pinning Swagger.

Miz TV, featuring John Cena and Daniel Bryan is next.

Miz TV is on now, remember The Miz is hosting Summerslam, so he brings out Daniel Bryan and John Cena.

The big news coming out tonight is HHH will be the special guest referee for the match at Summerslam.

Daniel thinks someone finally stood up to Mr. McMahon, and they can have a good match at Summerslam.

Cena agrees, and also bashes Miz TV at the same time.

Miz brings up the two promos they brought up last week, so what is John’s real issues with Daniel.

Cena says that the issue lies around the WWE Championship. Daniel Bryan wants to be the WWE Champion, and Cena is the WWE Champion.

Miz tries to bring up controversy, but Daniel cuts him off and says it is obvious that if he doesn’t shut up, he will punch him in the face.

Daniel doesn’t get it, people like Cena believe that all Daniel will do is just put up a great fight, John tries to cut him off, and Daniel cuts him off.

Last week, Cena said some things that made people get off their feet. Whether it’s that they cheered or booed. But he saw the red light, and did what he does best. Which is why he doesn’t watch TV, he’s all substance, but isn’t in it for the wrestling.

The shirt he is wearing is a parody of Cena, which is a parody of wrestling. He doesn’t want to be a parody. He wants to be the WWE Champion to represent there is nobody better than Daniel Bryan.

Now Cena’s shirt comes off.

Cena is not a parody, and he’s surprised that Daniel brought that up. All of this, Cena does it for this, the fans. All of the fans chant yes, or no for Daniel. People cheer for him, or they boo him, but they inflict emotion. This is just a T-shirt, that is like saying the American Flag is just a cloth. But this isn’t about a cloth, this is about loyalty. He will fight for those fans, he has been in hostile environments before. Yet here he is, still standing, and still wrestling. Daniel won’t be the first person that talks about Cena’s 5 moves of doom. He isn’t the first, and won’t be the last. He’s not doing this for guys like Daniel, he is doing this for the kids, for their parents. For the little boy Dakota that he just met today, for Make-A-Wish Foundation. His father pulled him aside after meeting him, and thanked him, because he inspires to live.

And what John has been doing for 12 years is wrestling, in front of many different environments, different countries, and he was doing what he was holding the WWE Title. So please think he is a joke, because that is what every one of his peers have thought of him, and he has beaten them all. A list that includes HHH, Shawn Michaels, Batista, CM Punk, The Rock.

Daniel says that he thinks that he doesn’t belong in that class, and Cena confirmed it, because while he is good, and on a roll, he isn’t in their league yet. The shirt says “Respect the Beard”, you have to earn his respect. If he becomes the WWE Champion, then he will earn his respect.

Daniel confirms that Cena doesn’t respect him, because Cena is an 11 time WWE Champion, while Daniel would love to just hold it once. For Cena, this is just another Summerslam, but for Daniel, this is the biggest match of his life.

There is a custom in Japan where opponents would fire each other up, they would slap each other in the face as hard as they can.

He wishes he can, but he can’t. Because Cena isn’t a wrestler, and he doesn’t deserve it.

Cena steps aside, wanting Daniel to slap him. He slaps Daniel, daring him to, but Daniel refuses to slap him.

Here comes HHH to settle things down, and here comes Randy Orton.

The segment ends here, and later tonight….CM Punk Vs Paul Heyman.

Well, we had one great segment, and came across a very confusing segment, which seems to be the theme of the night here.

R-Truth and Fandango have a bit of a dance-off, and when Summer Rae and Fandango beat Truth soundly, R-Truth throws Fandango out of the ring.

The 20-Man Battle Royal is next.

When we come back, Paul Heyman, decked out in a suit is taping up with Curtis Axel. Curtis asks him if he is okay, and he responds by saying he is starting to have second thoughts.

20-Man Battle Royal, with the winner getting a United States Title match against Dean Ambrose at the Summerslam Kick-Off Party is next.

Rob Van Dam wins the 20-Man Battle Royal, eliminating Mark Henry last, and will now face Dean Ambrose for the United States Title at the Summerslam Kick-Off.

After the match, Mark Henry came back to the ring, and gave RVD a fist bump.

Here comes The Shield, with RVD and Mark Henry waiting for the fight.

Here comes The Big Show to even the odds, it seems.

CM Punk Vs Paul Heyman is next.

Heyman is on the mic, and he informs Punk that he doesn’t blame him entirely on himself, but he blames his worshipers too, because they took Punk away from his best friend. Heyman brings up that he has heard all week from the fans that this is a trap, no…..really? Of course it is a trap, it’s a conspiracy, and allow him to introduce his co-conspirator, his new best friend….Brock Lesnar.

Here comes The Beast.

He doesn’t have to sell us The Best Vs The Beast, he will show us.

We now see a video of The Beast….Brock Lesnar.

Heyman wants to reveal the plan they have, the plan is so sinister that it can work. Here is the trap, Heyman is willing to fight CM Punk, just come on out and fight himself…and Brock Lesnar.

In a 2 on 1 Handicap match, that is what a hero does. But all heroes are stupid. They don’t have any other choice, or option. But Punk does have a choice, or an option and that is not to fight them, and disappoint every single one of the fans, and choose to fight another day, and that day will be this Sunday, at Summerslam.

So they demand an answer, will Punk play the smart coward, or the stupid hero?

Here comes CM Punk.

Punk comes from behind, grabs a camera, and nails Brock with it.

We have our answer, and the match is on.

Well, we don’t have a match, but Punk kicks Brock’s ass, and Heyman runs away. Curtis Axel runs out, but is met with a GTS, ending the show.

Punk is the best in the world.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

For all of the fire this show was supposed to be, it sure fizzled. So many confusing segments, with people winning matches that shouldn’t, and referees screwing up, and various segments that did not make sense.

RVD, who came back to the company with this awesome video is relegated to a Kick-off show match the very next month? Okay, it’s for the United States Title, and I am sure it will be a great match, but why not include it in the PPV?

Also, I am sure that they were supposed to make Big Show and Mark Henry Vs Rollins and Reigns, but there seemed to be running out of time, so they couldn’t do it.

And even the ending was a big thud. I knew Heyman vs Punk was not going to happen, but I just wasn’t feeling the ending.

The best segment, and the segment that sold the PPV was Miz TV, with Cena and Bryan. That promo the two had was money. I always said that Cena is best when he gives a serious promo, and tonight, he was money. But so was Bryan, the whole Superstar Vs Wrestler is an intriguing storyline that I just don’t think HHH fits into the equation. I just have a bad feeling that no matter who wins, Randy Orton will become the Corporate Champion, with HHH costing the WWE Champion the match.

But having said that, Summerslam looks to be a loaded card. What were your thoughts on the show? Send me your thoughts here.

WWE Monday Night Raw 7/22/13…Daniel Bryan Goes Through The Gauntlet

At Money in the Bank, Paul Heyman threw his friendship of CM Punk out the window. And last week, John Cena chose Daniel Bryan to be his next challenger to the WWE Title, and at Summerslam, those two men will clash. The Road To Summerslam begins, tonight.

We get the drums rolling for our new Raw General Manager, Brad Maddox.

We are live in Austin, Texas. And there is nobody more Texas than the newest sheriff in town, Brad.

Tonight, we will have the official contract signing to the WWE Title, at Summerslam, and that will happen….now.

Cena comes out first, and Brad wants to know why he chose Daniel Bryan.

Cena chose him because Brad allowed John to choose anyone, he listened to the fans, and the choice was clear.

Brad tries to bring out issues of Daniel Bryan. He does not look like a WWE Champion, Cena is bigger than he is, Daniel has been unstable.

Cena asks why Brad would bring these issues up, but here comes Daniel Bryan.

The crowd chants Daniel Bryan, as he begins to talk.

It seems to him that Brad believes Daniel does not deserve the WWE Title, but the fans disagree.

Brad presses Daniel, and wants to know if he believes he deserves a title shot.

Cena stands up, and says if he wants to talk about him, then do it to his face.

There are some damn asses that believe Daniel does not deserve the title shot, because of his size. If that is the case, John throws the title at Brad and says to give it to The Great Khali.

Cena has names like Shawn Michaels, Rey Mysterio, guys that have heart, and have been champions. Daniel has earned that right, he hears the fans, and know how popular he is. He has earned that right, but don’t think Cena will just hand him the title.

Cena signs the contract, and says he is going to Summerslam, giving Daniel a chance, but because you have heart, doesn’t mean you can win the title, because he will do anything he can to retain the title.

Daniel signs the contract, and starts to say something but Brad interrupts him.

Daniel says he doesn’t do this. He has waited his entire life to have this chance, and he deserves it.

Brad says to prove it, because there are people in the back that do not think that. So tonight, he has a match to prove it. Actually not just one match, but a series of matches.

Can he win those matches, and show he deserves to be in the title match?

But the crowd disagrees, and chants yes.

Michael Cole, Jerry “The King” Lawler, and JBL welcome us to the show. Tonight, Mark Henry promises to fire back at The Shield, but next….Alberto Del Rio Vs Sheamus.

Del Rio wins the match with a rollup, after Sheamus’ injured knee buckled down on him when he attempted a White Noise. The champ wins the match.

Tonight, we get a special Miz TV with all of the Divas featured in the new E! show “Total Divas”.

Tonight, we will hear from CM Punk. What is his mental state after last week’s attack?

Renee Young interviewed Booker T, wanting to know Booker’s thoughts. He is a bit confused over what happened this past week’s Smackdown, and Teddy Long shows up. He makes it clear, that if Mr. McMahon wouldn’t have chosen him to be a permanent General Manager, then perhaps he made the right decision.

Christian is headed to the ring, he is in action, next.

Christian is facing Titus O’ Neil.

Christian wins with a Killswitch in what was a good match.

Footage from last week on Smackdown, when Ryback attacked Chris Jericho.

Josh Matthews is with Ryback.

He enjoys putting punishment towards others. He does, including Josh. He is an average size. He hates average. The big guy needs to eat, and people like Josh should be intimidated by him, and if he’s not, he’ll show him why he should be.

Mark Henry is headed to the ring, as we show clips of The Shield attacking him last week on Raw.

Mark is proud to be a Texan. But he is not proud of what happened to him last week. But now, he is ready, and dares The Shield to come out and fight.

And here they come.

The numbers game is too much for Mark, but here come The Uso’s to back him up.

All three men lay out The Shield. And just as we get a World’s Strongest Slam, Ambrose and Rollins retrieve Reigns.

We see what we just saw. Daniel Bryan is warming up backstage, and Cena approaches him. He believes that Maddox is not making this choice alone, and he is scared. Daniel doesn’t need Cena’s help, and if the shoes were in reverse, he would say the same thing. Do not come out and help him in any of his matches, because if he did, it meant what he said earlier tonight was a load of crap.

Our next match is Dolph Ziggler Vs Darren Young.

Ziggler wins with a Zig Zag. Darren seemed to talk a little trash, and Ziggler had the best in him.

Big E. Langston attacks Ziggler, but Dolph is more ready this time, and even flings him out of the ring, and run right out of it when Big E. went back to the ring.

AJ is beside herself.

They are showing us how to install the WWE App again.

Tonight, CM Punk is here tonight, and we will get an update on his condition.

Miz TV with the cast of “Total Divas” is next.

The Miz is here to introduce us to the cast of “Total Divas”, this will be a train wreck. Not sure who the two other women are. Jo-Jo, and someone else.

But The Miz turns over the hosting duties to King.

I guess it’s Eva Marie, and she is here to make a name for herself, and she slaps Lawler.

I guess she is the heel of the group.

The show premieres this Sunday, on E! Network.

Short segment, which is a good thing.

Still to come tonight, Daniel Bryan is in multiple matches, are these called Gauntlet match?

Brad is on the phone, and is interrupted by HHH.

So Brad doesn’t think Daniel Bryan is strong enough? Brad doesn’t think he is big enough? Or even championship material? It seems someone is telling him to say these things. Daniel is the future of WWE, and the reason he didn’t come out to override him? Because Daniel is so driven, he can handle things.

There are two trains, one train is for the future, the other train is a dead-end.

Stephanie comes on the other side, and says she feels for him he has to deal with HHH and her father, but she is coming up with a plan for Brad, and she hopes he is on board.

He’s on board of the train.

Wyatt Family video is being shown.

Follow the buzzards.

Fandango time!! Which also means Summer Rae time.

He is in action, next.

Fandango is going to face Cody Rhodes, with Damien Sandow doing commentary.

Cody wins with a Crossroads. Damien tries to interfere, but it backfires when the two men lock eyes.

CM Punk speaks, next.

Here comes Punk.

He is in bad shape right now, he is hurting, he took a beating from Brock Lesnar, but he’s still standing. Brock is a fighter, he is a former WWE Champion, a former UFC fighter. He still has 13 staples on himself, but here is the big WWE.com headline….CM Punk is not afraid of Brock Lesnar.

But here is his thoughts on Paul Heyman. He is a dead man, because he made his choice, and he will pay for his choice. He will take Brock back to the hype machine where he belongs. But this is his ring. He is the best in the world for a reason. He has proven it. He will get Heyman for screwing him a third time. He will not pretend that Brock isn’t a monster, but monsters were put on this earth to be slaughtered by Punk.

He would do that tonight, but he knows Brock isn’t here, so how about he does it at Summerslam. The Best Vs The Beast.

Paul Heyman interrupts it, and loves that name. He is live via satellite, but Punk wants to know if he is here, because if he was, he’d bring him to the ring, and beat his ass so the fans can see it.

Heyman asks if this is what it comes down to, Punk is doing this for, what are they called? Texans. Brock has a theory about Punk and that he is he is trying to be a hero, but heroes can be taken down. Either Punk is a hero, or a fool. Which one is it?

Punk answers he will answer it at Summerslam.

Heyman reminds Punk they were the WWE Champion for such a long time. Admitting, based on his skill, but his stragedy making too. Brock is in the top shape of his life, and look at Punk. He is in bad shape since the beating last week. But Brock accepts Punk’s challenge, but don’t call this The Best Vs The Beast, because the best is his best friend….Brock Lesnar.

Rob Van Dam is in action, next.

This Friday night on Smackdown, Rob Van Dam will face Alberto Del Rio.

But RVD is facing Wade Barrett, now.

Five Star Frogsplash, that is all she wrote.

Daniel Bryan is out next, set for his Gauntlet Challenge.

Daniel is going to face Jack Swagger first.

Daniel makes Swagger tap out to the Yes Lock.

Daniel’s next opponent is Antonio Cesaro.

Daniel wins in what was a long, very good match with a roll up.

Holy shit, we have an Alex Riley sighting. He is in the GM’s office, saying that he is looking good so far to Brad. Brad replies let’s see how he does with his next opponent.

Who will it be? We will find out, next.

It’s Ryback.

Ryback is DQ’d when he put Daniel Bryan through a table, powerbombing him through a table, and here comes Cena to save the day.

Cena challenges Ryback to a Tables Match, and Ryback accepts, but no match is made now. The announcers are guessing it’s next week.

Brad Maddox is watching backstage, and Vince McMahon comes in, and while we will have Cena Vs Ryback in a Tables match, what about Daniel Bryan? He needs to have a match, how about against his best friend? Brad makes it Daniel Bryan Vs Kane.

We go back to the ring, and Cena gives Daniel his due to celebrate in the ring, and the fans love it.

We end the show here.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This just wasn’t a strong show, not as much as it was last week. I think the central problem here is Vince McMahon. He’s just not a fan of Daniel Bryan, but my gawd, listen to the fan reaction he gets. Even when he was a heel, the crowd cares about him. Isn’t that the central definition of what a valuable wrestler is supposed to be like?

But again, the story here is John Cena is the man, and Daniel Bryan is a peon, despite Daniel absolutely wrestling his ass off. His match with Cesaro was off the charts, yet Ryback, a big guy gets the rub here.

So does Daniel look weak? I mean Cena handled Ryback like he was nothing, yet Daniel was put through a table. I’ll let you decide.

And where was The Big Show? He was promoted as returning tonight, but he wasn’t on the show. Just one of those nights, I guess. What did you think of Raw? Send me your thoughts here.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 7/19/13…A New GM Is In Town

We are live, on tape in Providence, Rhode Island. Michael Cole, JBL, and Josh Matthews welcome us to the show.

Teddy Long is here to welcome us to the show. He has some great things lined up for us, but Booker T comes out to greet us.

Booker is back, and ready to take over. It seems the Smackdown General Manager will do a job evaluation, and determine who gets to be Smackdown’s permanent General Manager.

Here comes The Chairman, Vince McMahon. He asks both men that since there will only be one GM, what kind of match will they provide for us tonight.

Teddy suggests Curtis Axel Vs Chris Jericho, for the Intercontinental Title.

That’s a good idea, but Booker T counters with Alberto Del Rio Vs Randy Orton.

Here comes Brad Maddox.

Brad wants to thank Vince for giving him a Raw General Manager role, he now wants to be Smackdown’s GM too. He proposes the Smackdown return of Rob Van Dam.

Vince has decided to name Vickie Guerrero as permanent Smackdown General Manager.

Excuse Me….

She blames us for what happened, and hates us for everything. Now there is nobody that can stop her, she has all of the power.

We go to a commercial break.

Our first match is Jack Swagger Vs Dolph Ziggler, and before we have the match, we see footage of AJ Lee costing his match Sunday night.

Ziggler wins the match with a Zig Zag. Both Cesaro and Colter were sent out of ringside, and Big E along with AJ were watching on a monitor backstage.

Ziggler tells us that he dumped his girlfriend last Monday night. He is sorry, he is sorry he didn’t do any sooner.

AJ is crying backstage, and flipping chairs.

Big E. consoles her, and kisses her forehead.

Here come The Shield. They are in action against The Uso’s, next.

Footage of The Shield taking out Mark Henry.

Uso’s Vs Shield, now.

The match never starts because Dean Ambrose fights against Uso’s, but here comes Mark Henry, trying to help The Uso’s.

The Shield leaves the ring, and heads back home.

Tonight, RVD will return to Smackdown from many years, and we will also see Randy Orton Vs Alberto Del Rio.

Wade Barrett is in the ring, and his opponent is Daniel Bryan.

Daniel wins the match with a Yes Lock. The crowd is going crazy.

Brad wants to know if bygones are bygones, and everything is okay. Vickie slapped the taste out of his face, so what do you think?

Miz TV, with Paul Heyman is next.

Miz TV is in the ring, now.

Here comes Heyman. Miz has some questions, but he knows Paul will lie, so he’s just going to give him the mic, and he has the open floor.

Heyman said he did this to his friend. Through everything, he forgot about him, and will pay. Punk can’t beat Lesnar, and now Brock is coming after him.

Really? Really? Miz can’t believe how he did this, and Punk will get his revenge back very soon.

Miz walks away, and Heyman told him that Curtis Axel, the same man who pinned you a few weeks ago will watch his back.

Axel Vs Jericho, Intercontinental Title match is next.

Axel won his Swinging Neckbreaker, thanks in part to Heyman interfering. Good match between these two.

As Curtis and Heyman leave, enter Ryback.

Ryback destroys Jericho, and takes him out. This might be Jericho’s final appearance for a while tonight.

Ryback gives him a Shellshock, and kicks him in the ribs.

Orton Vs Del Rio, tonight.

Mr. Money in the Bank, Damien Sandow is out.

Damien won this fair and square, the Money in the Bank Ladder Match is everyone for themselves. He did not screw his good friend Cody.

We see the footage from this past Monday when Cody attacked Damien.

He won’t play our game, and insult Cody. That is what separates trash from deacon intellect. Quiet!!

They are still best friends, so come out here Cody, explain yourself and we can get past this.

Damien forgives Cody for everything. He’d like to offer him the role as protector of the case. Until he decides to cash it in, Cody will be responsible to protect the case/ Cody, you have earned this.

Cody attacks Damien, and refuses the job.

Rob Van Dam is headed to the ring, next.

Darren Young is facing Rob Van Dam, now.

Rob wins the match with a Five Star Frogsplash.

Next, our main event…Alberto Del Rio Vs Randy Orton.

Raw Rebound, featuring Wyatt Family, attacking R-Truth.

Vickie is in her office, she wants her things in the office. Teddy Long comes over. Vickie wants she and Teddy to get along, let bygones be bygones.

Teddy asked if she is serious, and she said hell no, She wants security to take him out.

Our main event, Randy Orton Vs Alberto Del Rio is up now.

This Monday, Big Show returns to Raw.

Orton wins the match with a RKO, pinning Del Rio.

Orton celebrates the big win, as we end the show here.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

The matches were good, but I just don’t understand the GM movement lately. We know what Vickie Guerrero brings to the table, she screams into the mic, which can be annoying. But I guess the reason they did this was because she still draws heel heat, however, what does this mean for Booker T? I did find it funny that Brad Maddox wanted to be GM of both Raw and Smackdown, but at least he is new and fresh, Vickie is not. So we’ll see where this goes. Let me know what you thought of this show.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 6/7/13…Daniel Bryan Is Not The Weak Link!!

We are in Long Island, New York and see Miz TV. He introduces us to Randy Orton, and Team Hell No.

Before Miz start, Daniel has something to say. He knows Randy did not intentionally hit him. Kane is the best partner a guy can have.

Miz brings up this is personal for Daniel, even though he single-handedly took care of all 3 members of The Shield.

Does he think he gets what he deserves?

Sometimes, and other times, do you think you’re a goatface troll.

Orton tells Miz that his mind is all messed up, and Daniel asks if everyone thinks this is a joke?

Now they bicker, and Bryan blames Orton for bumping into him, and costing him the match.

Now we are right back where we started.

Daniel tells Kane that he is supposed to have his back. How many times does he leave him alone in the ring with the Shield? And why doesn’t Kane defend him when people call him the weak link?

Kane wouldn’t last 2 minutes with any other partner, and with that, Kane has had enough, Randy is on his own.

Kane leaves the ring.

Did we just witness the breakup of Team Hell No?

And people will put the blame on Daniel? No!! No!! No!!

Teddy Long comes out, and he tells Daniel he will have something to prove tonight to face Reigns and Rollins. But since his partner left him, he has no choice, but to put Orton and Bryan together.

Next, Chris Jericho Vs Curtis Axel.

Axel wins after a rollup, when Heyman gave the signal to play CM Punk’s music, when he looked away, the young kid picked up a victory.

He was gloating about it, and Jericho started pounding on Curtis, giving him a Codebreaker, for good measure.

Kane runs into Ryback. Daniel is his partner, no matter how annoying he is at times. He put Kofi through a table, took out Daniel, how about he try to take him out.

Everyone knows Ryback rules.

He tombstoned a priest, buried his brother alive, there is nothing that fears Kane.

Next, a little something called tough love.

Video on The Wyatt Family is playing.

JBL and Michael Cole are concerned about them.

Footage from last Monday Night Raw, with the Raw Rebound….Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon returns, will not allow HHH to compete. HHH said he will be there this Monday.

This Monday on Raw, HHH will be there to face Curtis Axel in the ring, Monday night.

Ricardo Rodriguez introduces Alberto Del Rio.

Del Rio take out 3MB, without the bell ringing, so there was no match. Dolph Ziggler shows up on the Tron. He says he has been medically cleared, and is ready to compete on Monday Night Raw, doing what he does best….show off.

Still to com,e tonight, Ryback Vs Kane, that match is next.

Ryback put Kane through a table, ending the match in a no contest

Still to come tonight, it will be Orton and Daniel facing Rollins and Reigns.

Another brain teaser from Danien Sandow, on Sheamus.

This time Damien is going to play Chess with a supercomputer. This computer can do wonders that only some of us can dream, but he will defeat them with Chess.

He makes a move, and here comes Sheamus.

Sheamus bets he can defeat the computer with one move.

He is figuring it out, and he gives the super computer a Brogue Kick.

Sandow lays out Sheamus, he has had enough, taking out Deep Blue.

You’re welcome.

Daniel Bryan is backstage, warming up. Orton tells him Kane had to go to the trainer’s room after being put through a table by Ryback. Daniel doesn’t care, and Orton says they can just forget their feelings for one another and focus on beating The Shield. Orton isn’t partners with Daniel, and he doesn’t like him.

The Wyatt Family are coming.

Fandango, and the lovely Summer Rae are heading out to the ring. Fandango will face Zack Ryder, and The Miz has joined the two men at commentary.

It’s official, Intercontinental Title match is set, with a Triple Threat match of The Miz Vs Fandango Vs Wade Barrett.

Fandango wins with the Last Dip leg drop off the top rope.

His name is Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaandaaaaaaangooooooooooooooo

Next, Ryback’s Rampage from this past week.

Video of Ryback’s Rampage….Ryback Rules.

Natalya is backstage with Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn said she will find out who her secret admirer is this Monday on Raw. Natalya believes she should meet her privately, he could be a creep. Then shouldn’t it be better to meet the guy in public?

Our main event, Rollins and Reigns Vs Orton and Bryan, now.

Orton and Bryan win the match by DQ, when Dean Ambrose comes in and tries to take down Daniel. Rollins gets kicked by Daniel after the match, then Daniel mule kicks Ambrose out of the ring, and Orton hits a RKO on Daniel, since Daniel knocked into him.

I guess you can say it’s payback…get it. The show ends with Orton looking at Bryan.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Another solid show here that featured Daniel Bryan. They are looking to give him a summer push, and it shows right here. I still love the relationship Team Hell No is using. They fight like brothers, yet Kane is still there for him.

Orton’s RKO adds some tension to the mix too, we will more than likely see a match between these two this Monday on Raw.

At least the Damien Sandow/Sheamus segment was entertaining, with the computer talking like its “Wargames”, “Do you want to play a game?” If you don’t know what I am talking about, google it.

I also liked Ryback Vs Kane, and it’s always good to see Summer Rae.

Getting ready for Raw, and we can see who Kaitlyn’s secret admirer is. I sure hope it’s not Hornswoggle. Any thoughts on who he could be? Let me know, and what did you think of the show? Send me your thoughts here.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 5/24/13…Kofi Believes In The Shield

We are in Omaha, Nebraska. Tonight, we see a match for the Unites States Title between Dean Ambrose of The Shield taking on Kofi Kingston. We will also get an update on HHH, who seemed to pass out this past Monday night on Raw.

Smackdown is now.

Miz TV kicks the show off, and Miz has Fandango as his guest, along with Summer Rae.

The two start to bicker, Miz called Fandango a bag of skittles, which was trending on Twitter, and Fandango called him boring.

Wade Barrett shows up.

Wade tells Fandango a pathetic ballerina, who walked out on him out of their tag match to dance on Monday night.

The Miz informs Barrett they have a match tonight for the Intercontinental Title, and he made him tap out at Wrestlemania pre-show, he will do it again.

Miz and Barrett start to fight among each other, and the match takes place, next.

Barrett loses by DQ when Fandango kicks Miz in the head, after Miz had taken Fandango out. Wade and Fandango start to gain up on Miz, but Barrett nails Fandango with a Bull Hammer Elbow.

I smell a Triple Threat match in the future here.

Daniel Bryan is talking to himself, lacing up his boot. Kane tries to talk some sense to him, saying they lost as a team, Kane lost on Monday night, Daniel thinks he is insinuating that Daniel wasn’t there for Kane, and he is the weak link of the team.

Jack Swagger is in the ring, waiting for Daniel Bryan. The match is on, now.

Daniel Bryan wins the match with a No Lock, making Swagger tap out. Daniel yells out who is the weaker link, now?

He hits another No Lock on Swagger.

Next, who was the Last Man Standing from this past Sunday’s Extreme Rules?

They show us stills of this past week’s Extreme Rules between John Cena Vs Ryback, where both men are laid out, and taken with paramedics.

Cena was banged up, but he should be ready to go this Monday on Raw.

Last Monday night, Ryback issued a challenge to Cena at Payback in an Ambulance Match.

It’s official, at WWE Payback, it will be Cena Vs Ryback in an Ambulance Match.

Damien Sandow and Matt Striker are in the ring, dressed like they are at a funeral.

The last few weeks, Damien has watched two superstars embarrass themselves more and more, with a Tug-of-War, Arm Wrestling Match, and Truck Pull. And you guys seemed to have enjoyed that. It’s what he calls common denominator.

He has tied knots, and tell us anyone that can untie it is a Gordeon Knight.

He wants Striker to attempt to untie a Gordeon Knot.

He can’t do it, he just embarrassed the Substitute Teacher’s Union, call Washington, this is what is wrong with education.

Here comes Sheamus.

He finds it troubling that Damien is spending his spare time with knots. But nonetheless, he wants to solve the problem of the Gordeon Knots.

Damien gives him permission.

Damien wants to help, watch and learn….SILENCE!!

He has some pliers to cut the knot, and it’s solved. BRILLIANT!!

You’re welcome.

Sheamus wants to congratulate Sandow, and do it now. He missed the Brogue Kick.

Sheamus can’t ever meet his mental challenge, but with the crowd, at least he’s not alone.

Sheamus wants to teach Damien Newton’s Law, and he throws Striker right into Sandow. Gravity, what comes up, must go down.

Coming up next, Chris Jericho will take on The Big Show.

This Monday night, Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel returns with Chris’ guest being none other than Paul Heyman.

Jericho wins the match by countout, hitting the Code Breaker outside of the ring. Big Show has a chair, but Jericho slides it right into him, and nails him with the chair.

Next, an update on HHH from this past Monday Night.

We are in Omaha, Nebraska with some Sonic product placement.

Raw Rebound, featuring HHH Vs Heyman’s newest client, Curtis Axel.

Cole said that HHH has post concussion symptoms, and he will be out of action for quite some time.

Here comes Paul Heyman’s newest client, the artist formerly known as Michael McGillicutty, now Curtis Axel.

Paul Heyman is accredited to having the beast in coordinated himself, Brock Lesnar. Brock is a first ballot future Hall of Famer. He also managed the man who is the former WWE Champion for a unpresented 434 days, in CM Punk. Do you see a pattern here? Whenever Heyman takes in a talent, success happens, they become a WWE Champion, they become a future WWE Hall of Famer, and when he says this guy has the good, then he has the goods….Curtis Axel. And what he did at Raw this past Monday, well, he will tell us all what he did.

Curtis did more in one day, taking out HHH that his own father and grandfather had done their entire careers. His name is Curtis Axel, and that was just day one.

Curtis is in action, next.

Curtis is facing Sin Cara, now.

Curtis win the match with a one-armed swinging neckbreaker, he is calling Axel Grinder.

Next, the United States Title match, with Kofi Kingston, trying to win back the US Title against Dean Ambrose.

The Shield attack Kofi for the DQ, but here comes Randy Orton and Sheamus to help, and all chaos is ensued.

But wait….Teddy Long makes his presence known, and orders a 6 man tag match, now.

The Shield wins when Dean Ambrose gives Kofi Kingston the Headlock Driver, and we had all men knocked down. Total chaos, and we end the show with The Shield celebrating in the ring.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Another fun episode tonight that featured a 6-man tag main event, putting The Shield over. I am still not sure why The Shield has all the titles, because to me, that never should have been the plan. You remember all of the “injustice” talk, and righting the wrong? So, in other words, the wrong was The Shield not wearing gold? Regardless, they are fun to watch together as a unit.

I am looking forward to seeing The Highlight Reel this Monday night, and see how Chris and Paul interact.

Still not sure about the Curtis Axel, I’d rather he go by Joe Hennig, it’s certainly a more marketable name, but I’ll give it a chance.

I am becoming more and more of a fan of Summer Rae. I see nothing wrong with a WWE Diva being a manager, at least right now. If she does get into the ring, take your time with it.

Good match with Jericho and Big Show.

Smackdown has certainly picked up over the last few weeks, and at times has been the best wrestling show of the week. Let’s hope this continues. What did you think of the show? Send me your thoughts. I will talk to you on Monday.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 5/17/13….Miz TV Sets The Main Event

Tonight, after Dolph Ziggler’s current condition takes him out of Extreme Rules, how will Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger set up their I Quit match? Miz TV will feature Randy Orton and Big Show tonight. Will The Viper strike? Or will see a Knockout Punch?

Smackdown is up now.

Michael Cole, Josh Matthews, and JBL welcome us to the show. 2 days away from Extreme Rules. The Miz kicks things off with Miz TV. His guests square off at Extreme Rules, with The Big Show and Randy Orton.

We see footage from the two men getting the upper hand this past week. Big Show said that this Sunday at Extreme Rules, Orton will be knocked out, just like he was this past Monday. Their match is the most anticipated, it began at Wrestlemania, and Big Show will finish Orton off.

Randy said while this match is the most anticipated, Big Show will be met with a RKO.

Here comes Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter.

Zeb said they are both wrong, because the most anticipated match is Jack Swagger Vs Alberto Del Rio. Jack will make Del Rio say “I Quit”, or in his case….”No Mas”.

Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez come out, Del Rio said that he will make Swagger say “I Quit”, because he’s….Rodriguez chants out Alberto Del Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Here comes Mark Henry.

Mark has been lifting tractors, and using a strap on Sheamus, because that’s what he do.

Sheamus enters the fun.

He said that Sheamus Vs Henry is the most anticipated, because Sheamus will use a strap on Mark, and he can do it now.

All 6 men start to fight in the ring, and when we come back from a break, he calls for a big 6-man tag match later tonight as our main event. Alberto Del Rio, Randy Orton, and Sheamus face Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, and Big Show.

Holla!! Holla!!

Michael Cole, Josh Matthews, and JBL officially welcome us to the show, but we hear The Shield’s music.

It will be Rollins and Reigns face The Uso’s, now.

The Shield win with a spear by Reigns. They continue to fight them off, but Kofi Kingston comes out, and The Shield take care of them. Kofi comes back with a chair, and The Shield retreat.

This Sunday, Kofi Vs Dean Ambrose for the United States Title, and we will see Rollins and Reigns face Team Hell No in a Tornado Tag Match for the Tag Team Titles.

Up next, Ryback Rules.

When we come back, Teddy Long welcomes back The Miz. Damien Sandow thinks that all Miz does is cause chaos. WWE needs a talk show that dignifies his guests, call it The Damien Sandow Show….You’re welcome.

Teddy thinks we should see The Miz Vs Damien Sandow, later tonight instead. You’re welcome.

This past Monday night, Ryback lays out John Cena’s ankle with a chair, furthering hurting his ankle.

Tons of Funk come out to the ring, they are next.

Tons of Funk takes care of Prime Time Players with a double body splash, pinning Darren Young. Their epic feud is now tied at 1-1.

Chris Jericho Vs Antonio Cesaro, next.

Jericho makes Cesaro tap to the Walls in a fun match. This Sunday, Fandango faces Jericho.

Speaking of Fandango, here come Summer Rae and Fandango. Fandango tries to attack Jericho from behind, but the wily veteran is ready, and takes out Fandango. He then gives Cesaro a Code Breaker for good measure.

They are talking about the WWE App again, and we see footage from Jack Swagger Vs Big E. Langston this past Monday.

We now see video from Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger.

Basically they are saying that they aren’t extremists, they are concerned Americans, when our government is lying to us. They deserve the truth, and a Real American won’t say “I Quit”

We The People.

Damien Sandow Vs The Miz, with Cody Rhodes doing commentary, now.

Miz wins with the Figure Four, despite Cody’s help on his best friend. This Sunday, at the pre-show, we will see Cody take on The Miz.

Kaitlyn Vs Aksana, earlier today, Kaitlyn received new gloves and flowers. She is more interested in the gloves than the flowers.

Kaitlyn wins with a spear.

Coming up next, a Caged Confrontation from Raw with HHH and Brock Lesnar.

“Live it up” by Airborne is the official theme song for Extreme Rules.

Brock Lesnar Vs HHH video footage is being shown now.

Our main event match tonight is up now. Alberto Del Rio, Randy Orton, and Sheamus taking on Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, and Big Show.

Orton, Sheamus, and Del Rio win the match with a RKO on Jack Swagger.

The show ends with all three men, four, if you include Ricardo staring down at their respective opponents for this Sunday.

Extreme Rules is this Sunday.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

A decent go-home show tonight, and it put over this Sunday’s big PPV. I am not sure what they are doing with Josh Matthews though, he seems to be acting a big heelish. Just not something I would recommend, as we had already seen it with Cole.

But I am looking forward to seeing the show this Sunday. What were your thoughts? Send them to me here.

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/14/13…20th Anniversary Of Raw

I was going to write this piece on the history of Raw, and my own thoughts, but I really didn’t have the opportunity to do that this weekend.  So I thought I’d share my thoughts here.  20 years ago, Monday nights changed forever.  What was once Primetime Wrestling became Monday Night Raw.  I didn’t think it would last long, yet fast forward 20 years, it has become a staple in Americana.  Tonight, we celebrate 20 years of the longest running episodic show on television, tonight….we celebrate Raw.

Here we go.

We start the show off with all of the theme songs we have heard over the years.

We are in Houston, Texas.  Here comes The Chairman of the WWE….Mr. McMahon.

Vince still has it, welcome to Monday Night Raaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwww.  We have seen so much all of the years, but we have seen the most is entertainment.  Over 4 billion viewers have enjoyed Monday Night Raw, because of one reason, he is a certified iconic genius.  But also because of us, and he thanks us.  Tonight, Dolph Ziggler will face John Cena, inside a steel cage.

We will also have our very own “Rock” concert with the Most Electrifying Man in all Entertainment.

Here comes The Big Show, the former World Heavyweight Champion.

Big Show says the celebration will have to wait, because they need to discuss the travesty of what took place last Friday night.  Vince doesn’t like being interrupted, and he doesn’t like being called Vince.

Big Show calls him sir, and Vince said he looks to have trimmed down, and looks great.  Show has lost weight, and Vince is talking about the gold he has lost.

Show wants to discuss the travesty of what took place Friday night, Vince wants to see the footage, and Show believes the truck doesn’t have anything, but Vince insists on seeing it.

So we do.

Big Show was not prepared out of his match, why Booker T would do that to him, who knows, perhaps he wants Del Rio to look like a hero, because he is Latino?  Perhaps Booker T is just jealous of Show, because he has an iron clad contract, and that means he is better than anyone.

What does Show want?  Show suggests since he is the biggest commodity of Vince, he strips Alberto Del Rio of the World Heavyweight Championship.

Here comes the World Heavyweight Champion, Alberto Del Rio, with Ricardo Rodriguez introducing him, without a car.

For someone who talks about being a big giant, he talks small.  He remembered Show bullying his good friend Ricardo Rodriguez, but now he is crying like a big baby.  So how about instead of crying, you do something about it.  How about Big Show Vs Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Title, tonight?

Show is not prepared to face him tonight, he is wearing a custom-made suit.  But Show is bigger, and stronger than him, for once in your life, show some cojones, Perro.

He’s not going to fight Del Rio when Del Rio wants to fight him, he will fight him when he wants to.  He thinks to fight for that prestigious title, don’t do it in Houston.  But rather do the match at Royal Rumble.  Nobody is going to talk about The Rock Vs CM Punk, or who survives the 30 man Rumble match, people will talk about Big Show knocking out Del Rio.

Del Rio calls Show a fat jackass in Spanish.

Alberto and Ricardo has a present for Big Show, a bucket with something in it.  Confetti.

Big Show tries to go after Ricardo, but Alberto fights him off, and nails him with an enzuguri.

Michael Cole, Jerry “The King” Lawler, and JBL welcome us to the show.

Dolph Ziggler Vs John Cena, inside a steel cage, and we will have a Rock Concert, featuring The Rock.

A Monday Night Raw moment….The Price is Right with Bob Barker, and Chris Jericho.

Wade Barrett is in the ring, and is facing Randy Orton.  Former enemies ignite.

Wade Barrett wins with a Bull Hammer.

Wow, what a statement.

We will have a Rock Concert tonight, and also we will hear who the first inductee is into the WWE Hall of Fame.

We come back to Booker T, Teddy Long, and Eve Torres backstage.

Booker told Eve that there is a special stipulation to Eve’s match tonight against Kaitltyn, if Eve thinks about getting counted out, or DQ’d, she will be stripped of the Divas Title.

Eve thinks there is something she can do, to work it out.  Booker laughed it off.  Tell me you didn’t just do that.  Eve slaps Teddy.

Cole, King, and JBL inform us that Team Hell No has to talk to Dr. Shelby for their 4 month checkup, and we see it earlier.

Daniel suggests they lie and tell Dr. Shelby anything he wants to hear.

Dr. Shelby wants a group hug, and has one question for each of them to discuss the formality.

Daniel, what is one thing he likes about Kane?

He’s tall, he can set anything on fire, with his hands, and he is quite a good dancer.

Now Kane, what do you like about Daniel?

In the ring, he is agile, he has a great beard, and sometimes, he is not afraid to admit he wears women’s clothing.

Dr. Shelby invited Team Rhodes Scholars to purposely antagonize them, and see how they react.

When they do that, find your happy place.

Team Rhodes Scholars critique Dr. Shelby, does he know what to do to help them?  Cody wonders what is worse, the way they team together, or advice from Dr. Shelby?  Damien suggests they can get better advice from Dr. Phil, and this is what irate Dr. Shelby, boys get them.

They deck both men, and Kane responds this is what he calls a happy place.

Kane Vs Damien Sandow, next.

Chokeslam on Sandow, for Kane to win.  At Royal Rumble, Team Hell No will face Team Rhodes Scholars, for the Tag Team Titles.

Coming up next, we will find out who the first inductee of the WWE Hall of Fame is.

We are live in Houston, Texas, and see what took place in hour one, with Alberto Del Rio taking out Big Show.

Justin Roberts introduces the first Hall of Fame inductee, Mick Foley.

Foley comes out to address the crowd, and they give him a “Foley” chant.

Thank you for giving him that response, right here….in Houston, Texas.

Here come The Shield.

Feed Me More….

Ryback comes out, and takes out The Shield, but the numbers game is too much.

Randy Orton come out to help, here comes Sheamus.

Ambrose is about to get Shellshocked.

Moments ago, we see what we just saw.

Josh Matthews is with Ryback.

Everytime Ryback has stepped in the ring with CM Punk, The Shield has allowed Punk to escape with the WWE Title.  He will not rest, until he gives back The Shield what they have taken from him.

Feed him Shield.

Cole, King, and JBL welcome us to the show, again.  We now see the most outrageous gimmicks in the history of Raw.

Eve Torres Vs Kaitlyn, for the Divas Title, next.

Divas Title is up, now.

Kaitlyn wins the Divas Title with a spear.  Eve tried to throw her out of the ring, and over the barricade, but Kaitlyn came back, and won the title.

Good for her.

Josh Matthews is with Brodus Clay.  Last week, CM Punk brings up Clay, how he Jukes and jives, because he has to.  Brodus responds that he Jukes and jives, because he wants to.  Keep his name out of his mouth, punk.

More Raw classic moments, including Donal Trump confronting Vince McMahon.

Brodus Clay is juking and jiving for us, he is going to face the WWE Champion, CM Punk.

Punk wins, by making Brodus tap to Anaconda Vice, and to celebrate the win, Punk gives us a jive.

Now he came out here to do what he does every Monday night.  A little bit later, The Rock will come out and do what he does.  Some may think either way is more entertaining, and that’s your opinion.  But where it matters are facts.  There is no opinion he just made a 400 pound man tap out, fact.  The WWE Title is fact, for 427 days.

The Rock may entertain you later tonight, if that is what you like, but he has the WWE Title, and The Rock will not, and at Royal Rumble, that will be a fact, because he is the best in the world.

Tonight, we will have a Rock Concert.

And John Cena Vs Dolph Ziggler, inside a steel cage.

The official Royal Rumble theme song is “What Makes A Good Man” By The Heavy.

Now we will see the most Vehicular moments of Raw in 20 years.

Mick Foley is talking to his son Dewey on the phone, and runs into The Rock.

Mick wants to shake Rock’s hand, but no handshake….Rock has a hug.

Finally, Mick has his contributions, finally….

Finally, The Rock….And Sock Connection have come back to Houston.

Finally, The Rock and Sock Connection are the trail blazing, pie eating, a bona fide Hall of Famer.

Excuse me….

Vickie Guerrero can’t even hear herself think.  She has a show to run, so don’t waste her time.  Does she make herself clear?  Does Rock have anything to say to her?

No, he has nothing to say her.

Foley can’t believe he didn’t say anything, and Rock says there is a time and place for that.  Trust him, enjoy The Rock concert.

Our next match is an Over the Top Challenge match, featuring Sheamus, next.

Sheamus and 3MB are squaring off in the Over the Top Challenge match.

Heath Slater win the match, after Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre were eliminated, they helped eliminate Sheamus.

After the match, 3MB celebrate, but Sheamus ruins the party, and Brogue Kicks both Heath and Drew.

Josh Matthews is with John Cena.  Cena gives us a joke, about how we should celebrate the former characters, and brings up Braden Walker.  Now, Braden wasn’t on Raw, but he did sure had a great highlight.  Now Three’s Company might be Jack Tripper’s house, his house is inside the steel cage.

The Miz comes out for Miz TV, his guest is a Hall of Famer, and it will be awesome.

Want a hint?

When we come back, we see hour 2 highlight that showed Sheamus, Mick Foley, and Ryback helping out Mick Foley, and fighting The Shield.

Miz TV time.

It’s an honor to have his guest on the show, the only 2-time Hall of Famer, get out of your seats, for “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair.

Ric has done everything on this show, he had a classic match with Mr. Perfect, he started Evolution, he even played Musical Chairs.  What is his favorite moment on Monday Night Raw?

The Monday Night Raw after his match with Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 24, where he retired.  But let’s not talk about the past, but the future.

He said the day Ryback takes care of The Shield will be a highlight on Raw.

Wooooooo….whoa whoa whoa….WOOOOOOOOO

We have a Woo-off now, between The Miz and Ric Flair.

The most unforgettable superstars video is playing now.

Flair gives us his trademark catchphrase….

And here comes Antonio Cesaro, complete with the American flag.

He doesn’t need catchphrase, because guys that need them uses them as a clutch.  When he sees these two, they personify America.  A failed reality star, who wants the fame, and not to be great, and another man who is a 16-time World Champion, that made $10 Million, and spent $30 Million just to keep up the image.  Now Ric can’t even keep up the bar tab, and the symbol of 4 represent the number of ex-wives he has.

Miz will pay Ric’s bar tab tonight, so how about he pay his receipt, now?

Antonio will walk away, and be the better man.

But Ric stops him, and shoves him into the Skull Crushing Finale.  Flair is about to do the Figure Four, but he has Miz do it.

Now Flair is doing the leg drops on their jackets.

Very fun segment.

Still to come tonight, John Cena Vs Dolph Ziggler, inside a steel cage.

We see another Raw moment, this time with Austin and Tyson.

Daniel Bryan is headed to the ring, he is going to face Cody Rhodes.

Daniel wins with the Yes Lock.

From WWE Active, Eve Torres quits WWE.

Tonight, a concert with The Rock.

This Friday night on Smackdown, we will see Alberto Del Rio’s Championship Fiesta.

AJ Lee and Big E. Langston look back at the past weddings.

We see Daniel Bryan and AJ’s wedding where Vince McMahon named AJ as the new General Manager.

AJ cries, and says that was the best moment of her life, until John Cena ruined it by getting her fired.

Dolph Ziggler hugged her, and said to Cena, he has been preparing this match his entire life.  Tonight, he proves to Cena, and the world, that he is the Show…..Off.

Good Ol’ JR….Jim Ross comes out to call the next match, Ziggler Vs Cena, inside a steel cage.

Cena wins the match with an Attitude Adjustment, after Big E. tried many times to interfere, but the final time backfired, when Ziggler tried to kick Cena, but John ducked and Dolph nails Big E. instead.  AJ climbed up the cage, and lost it too.

AJ is beside herself.

Next, The Rock Concert.

Okay, the first song he sang was a bit of a miss for me, basically calling Paul Heyman fat, but the 2nd song….”Biacth, You Look Horrible Tonight” was an instant classic, directly at Vickie Guerrero.  It was to the tune of Eric Clapton “Wonderful Tonight”.  She was a great sport too.

Then he called CM Punk out, and here comes the WWE Champion.  He mentions about his facts, Fact….He is not God.  Fact….421 days as WWE Champion means he has been unstoppable.  Fact….in 13 days, his days as WWE Champ is over, because he can do it.

This somehow upsets Punk, he leaves Heyman and goes right after Rock.  The two are trading punches, until officials come out to separate them, and the show ends with the two men locking eyes on each other, being separated.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This show was less about celebration, and more about advancing storylines.  I don’t think I liked that, because at the end of the day, we all know what Royal Rumble is going to be about….30 men in the ring, vowing to win the Royal Rumble.  But this should have been about 20 years of celebrating.  The biggest crime is we didn’t have the biggest star WWE has had since Raw began 20 years ago, Stone Cold Steve Austin.  I am not sure whose call it was, either Vince himself, Steve not wanting to take part in something that storyline wise, it didn’t make sense.

Either way, it was the wrong call.

But here is something I did like, Punk’s promo, and Rock’s concert.  I am a fan of both wrestlers, and both personalities.  Rock’s rendition of “Wonderful Tonight” was a classic.  Not sure how Vickie could keep a straight face, but a great job by her.

I also liked the main event of the steel cage match, although the wrong man won.  I have always said John Cena doesn’t need wins, he’s so much of a star that any loss never hurts him, but it does with Dolph, especially if WWE is telling us he is our next World Heavyweight Champion.  I am not a fan of these ‘fluke” wins they have given us.  You know what I am talking about, the challenger is a mid card talent, who hasn’t strung together wins, yet he somehow, miraculously prevails.  If a champion is being groomed, he needs wins, and who better to say you beat John Cena, right before you win the big one?

Everything else was there, I will miss Eve Torres though, but am happy for Kaitlyn, and am looking to see this build to AJ Lee Vs Kaitlyn, since the two are good friends, and no doubt, AJ will take that title from her soon, rather than later.

What did you think of the show?  Send me your thoughts here.
