Roman’s blood line has been here in WWE for a long time, but they have never been United States Champion, but Roman is THE guy.  And Lana enters.  She came out here to talk to Roman, but her husband doesn’t know.  Roman says how ya’ doin?  Lana is here to negotiate.  Her husband is challenging Roman to a United States Championship.  Roman isn’t impressed, and says Rusev is hiding behind Lana’s skirt, while Lana does all of the work.  Rusev is Lana’s husband, he is family.  Roman has zero respect for family, because he came out here, and tried to destroy her wedding celebration.  Lana tells Roman to hide that stupid smile you stupid boy.  Her husband will come out, and crush him in front of all these people, and in front of his family.  Reigns tells Lana to send for her husband and tell it to his face.  Lana says you go to hell.  But here comes Rusev.  The two men start to fight in the aisle.  Rusev sends Reigns over the barricade with his boot.  Rusev holds the United States Championship, and takes it.  Possession is 9 tenths of the law.  But Reigns from behind, with the Superman Punch, knocking out Rusev.  Reigns is taking Rusev and Lana to hell, inside Hell in a Cell.

Segment 3:  Exclusive Interview With Seth Rollins

Michael Cole asks Seth about what happened at Clash of the Champions.  Seth admits he got caught in the wrong position, but he still works harder than anyone.  Kevin Owens and Seth have one thing in common, being HHH’s man.  But Kevin is always at the right place, he doesn’t work half as hard as Seth.  Cole asks him how it feels to be replaced by Kevin Owens.  You can’t replace Seth Rollins.  Kevin is just a cog in the machine, like Seth was.  But now Seth has wide opens, and he will take out that cog in the machine, and it begins with taking the WWE World Title from Owens.  Cole asks him about Jericho coming out to cost Seth at Clash of Champions.  Everything was done at the right time.  And Stephanie just shows up, to send another referee.  But when Seth gets the next title shot, he will cancel The Kevin Owens Show, at any cost.

So the interview ends, and we find out tonight, Kevin Owens will respond to Seth Rollins.

Next:  Kevin Owens will speak.

Royal Rumble is coming to The Alomodome, for the first time since 1997.

Confirmed:  Reigns Vs Rusev, inside Hell in a Cell.

Segment Number 6:  Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho

The WWE World Champion comes out with his best buddy, Chris Jericho.  Owens just watched that interview Seth Rollins had with Cole, and what he got from it is if Rollins was smart, he’d get some rest from those bruised ribs the doctor told him to do, but he is a stupid idiot.  He wants a rematch for the WWE World Title, but what has he done to deserve it?  He lost the match, and he has one person to blame, Kevin Owens.  Because he is standing here with the WWE Universal Championship.  Another question we may have is why Chris Jericho is standing in the ring here?  Jericho answers they are best friends.  That is true, but that’s not why Owens asked him here.  Owens brings up the ref costs Seth the match, so Owens asks Jericho to be the special guest ref, if Seth gets the title rematch.  Jericho agrees to it, but he proposes after winning their big match over Enzo and Cass, they should go after the WWE Tag Team Titles.  Owens agrees they are a great tag team, but he says Cesaro and Sheamus are Number One Contenders, so they wouldn’t get Tag Title shots anyway.  Jericho counters, they can win against New Day, then go after Tag Titles.  Besides, Sheamus and Cesaro aren’t best friends anyway.  Owens says he is busy being WWE Universal Champion, and Jericho brings up it’s not like he is asking for Universal Title shot.  Owens pauses, but agrees to this, and that leads to…..

OHHHHHHH L.A. IT’S TIME TO STAND UP AND CLAP FOR YOUR WORLD FAMOUS 2-TIME WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS….IT’S A NEW DAY, YES IT IS.

They bring up friendship, nobody has friendship like New Day.  Kofi just made the list.  Big E. starts singing, and he suggests they have a champion huddle.  Owens can get involved, but not Jericho.  He’s not a champion.  Jericho confirms Big E. has made the list.  Xavier laughs about this, and he just made the list.  Champion huddle, and Owens talks about how they promote kids to eat questionable things.  They also jumped the shark earlier about 7 months ago.  Xavier answers they don’t swim, and Kevin hasn’t jumped anything in years.  Xavier made the list again.  Xavier accepts their challenge, and says they will never be the WWE Tag Team Champions, because New Day Rocks!!

Earlier Tonight:  Cesaro and Sheamus arguing, and Charlotte Vs Sasha.

Confirmed:  The New Day Vs Jeri-KO, tonight.

Segment Number 10:  Jeri-KO, Ashton Kutcher, and Danny Masterson.

Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson greet Jericho and Owens.  They take a look at THE list.  Ashton calls he and Danny brothers.  Jericho says they should be Siamese twins.  Owens leaves.  Ashton warns Jericho they will be at ringside for their match against New Day.  Jericho tells them they better stay out of their business, or they will get….he disappears, and reappears, IT….

Segment Number 11:  Susan G. Komen Plug with Enzo and Cass.

Enzo and Cass are with former Cancer patients.  This year marks the 5th year WWE and Susan G. Komen teamed up to fight with Breast Cancer.  These women are Breast Cancer survivors, and they are awarded the Women’s Championship.  Very classy.  They are not S.A.W.F.T.

Tonight:  Sasha Vs Charlotte for Women’s Title.

Next:  The New Day Vs Jeri-KO

Match Number 5:  The New Day (WWE Tag Team Champions) Vs Jeri-KO

Seth Rollins came out to watch this, while Ashton and Danny were commentating.  New Day picks up the win, when Xavier hits Midnight Hour, pinning Jericho.  Owens leaves his friend from behind.

Winners:  The New Day Via Pinfall.

Rollins comes into the ring, and gives Jericho a Pedigree, with Owens not coming to the ring.

Earlier Tonight:  Rusev and Reigns.

At Hell in a Cell, it’s Rusev Vs Reigns inside Hell in a Cell, for the United States Title.

Segment Number 13:  Backstage Interview with Charlotte and Dana Brooke.

The idiot Tom Phillips asks a stupid question to Charlotte, any butterflies over her match tonight.  Charlotte tells us she is the most dominant woman in the business, and she will prove that once again.  She was born in this business, and she will take Sasha, and be history.

Next:  Rich Swann Vs Tony Nese

Video:  Rich Swann

Segment Number 14:  Stephanie McMahon and Seth Rollins

Seth is not medically cleared yet, he never should have been in the ring.  Stephanie admits Rollins is all alone for the first time his WWE career.  No Shield, no Authority.  And he will find out he is replaceable, just like everybody else.  You don’t get it, Rollins stopped listening the night HHH stabbed Rollins in the back.  It’s the second biggest mistake he ever done.  What’s the first?  Marrying Steph.  Ouch!!  If she doesn’t give Seth his title rematch, he will make her life a living hell, and he will take care of her, Owens, and Chris Jericho.

Match Number 6:  Rich Swann Vs Tony Nese

Tony picks up the win with a Pump Handle Michinoku Driver, and pinned Swann.

Next:  Sasha Vs Charlotte for WWE Women’s Title.

Live From:  Staples Center in Los Angeles, California

Video:  Sasha Banks Vs Charlotte

Segment Number 18:  Backstage segment with Charlotte, Dana Brooke, and Bayley

Charlotte makes fun of Bayley, saying one day she can maybe grow up, and have a title match against Charlotte.  Charlotte walks away, Dana Brooke gets into Bayley’s face, and Bayley shoves Dana into the platform, hurting her knee.

Match Number 8:  Sasha Banks Vs Charlotte (WWE Women’s Champion) WWE Women’s Title Match

What a match, these two shared the spotlight, including Charlotte doing a back flip that speaks volumes, please check it out when you can.  Sasha wins the match, making Charlotte tap out to the Bank Statement.  Sasha becomes a 2-time Women’s Champion, and Charlotte is irate.  The show ends here.

Winner:  (And New WWE Women’s Champion) Sasha Banks

Kevin’s Thoughts:

What a great main event, the show was okay.  It had its good moments, and bad, but the main event was incredible.  A physical match where the ending sequence needs to be seen by everyone reading this.  Just a great ending to the show.  It’s on the List of Gillman.

WWE Monday Night Raw 9/19/16…Go Home For The Clash

6 days away from Clash of Champions, we will see how the show is set up.  How will Reigns react from getting screwed by Rusev?

Raw is 20 minutes away.

Last week on Raw, we see what took place with Reigns Vs Owens.

We are live in Memphis, Tennessee, and we get no music intro.  Roman Reigns comes out to the ring.

Reigns starts to talk, and here comes Stephanie McMahon.

She knows he wants a piece of Rusev, but she has a show to run.

Here comes Mick Foley.

Foley chants in Memphis.

They came up with a solution, Foley was in charge last week, and he let things get out of control.  That is on him, so he will put Seth Rollins Vs Rusev, tonight.

That is great, but what does it do for Reigns?  Three weeks ago, he was screwed by her coward husband.  Last week, he was screwed out of Rusev.

Foley tells Reigns in 6 days he will get a United States Title match against Rusev, and Stephanie guarantees it.

But Foley tells Reigns he has every right to not trust Stephanie, because of their past, but she put Mick in charge.  But guys don’t take his word , and they decide to do things in their own way.  He said Reigns and Owens had an incredible match last week, until things got out of hand.  He wants to make things right, because while Stephanie will be good, he can be back on the couch, if they lose the ratings war.  He said he has been in and out of good graces with the company over the years.  He has something to prove.

So tonight, we will have a rematch of Owens Vs Reigns.

The Champ comes out, and disagrees with this.  He needs to get ready for his title match this Sunday.

Stephanie tells Owens this will be a non-title match, but Mick is in charge.

Mick agrees it’s a non-title match, but it will be inside a steel cage, right here in Memphis, Tennessee.

So we kick things off with Rollins Vs Rusev, now.

Stephanie is upset about Mick’s decision to make this a steel cage match.

But Rusev is irate over making this match at Clash of Champions, and tonight’s match.  Rusev says Foley is jealous of the Rusev family, and Mick ignores that, he tells him he has a match this Sunday against Roman Reigns, and tonight’s match with Seth Rollins.

He gets a phone call from Chris Jericho.

Rusev Vs Rollins is now.

Both men were counted in what was a fantastic match.  Rusev tries to give Rollins a Powerbomb onto the floor, but Rollins gets out of it, and gives Rusev a flying body press, on top of the announce table.

We are backstage, Dana Brooke and Charlotte show footage from last week’s Triple Threat match.

Foley changes the match this Sunday for the Women’s Championship to a Triple Threat match between Charlotte Vs Sasha Banks Vs Bayley, the credits Dana for the idea.

Charlotte shoves Dana.

Tonight, steel cage match with Owens Vs Reigns.  We also will see the debut of The Cruiserweight Division.  2 guys we will see in the ring are Brian Kendrick and Cedrick Alexander.

Jericho is with Kevin Owens.  He says Foley never like him, so he is out to get to Owens.

He is rotten, he is abusing his power.  Jericho is going to make a list of every rotten thing Foley has done as GM.  And when he shows him, he is not going to like IT.

Braun Strowman squash is up, against Sin Cara.

Braun took care of Sin Cara, with ease.  Hitting a powerslam.

Bayley is with Sasha Banks, she is looking forward to being in the ring with her this Sunday.  They beat each other last week, but the good news is one of them will be Women’s Champion, but tonight, they will team up and face Charlotte and Dana, and show them how it’s done.

That tag match is next.

Bayley and Sasha vs Charlotte and Dana is now.

Charlotte and Dana win the match with an assist by Dana, and a kick to the face by Charlotte, pinning Bayley.

Tonight, a steel cage match with Kevin Owens Vs Roman Reigns.  We see Seth Rollins enter Stephanie’s office.

Tomorrow night on Smackdown Live, a double main event with Cena Vs Ambrose, and Miz Vs Ziggler, for the IC Title.

Players from the Memphis Grizzlies are here.

Rollins is in Stephanie’s office, and they had some good times here.  So why did she throw it away for Kevin Owens?

Stephanie still denies anything to do with that.  But maybe Kevin was right, he is responsible for the WWE World Championship being on Smackdown.  Maybe it’s because he lost the title to Finn Balor, maybe.  HHH chose him from The Shield, and he has embarrassed him, maybe.

Seth knows Stephanie was behind this, with her husband, and maybe they made the wrong decision, and when Rollins beats Owens at Clash of Champions, they will crawl on their knees, and ask for forgiveness.  But then again, maybe he will be their worst nightmare.

Stephanie again denies anything, but she admits they were wrong in Seth. She thinks Kevin Owens is the right choice for WWE Universal Champion, and now Kevin is THE MAN.

Seth says Steph used to be a shrewd businesswoman, but she has changed.  And he thinks it started when her brother Shane came back.

Another squash for Bo Dallas, hitting Roll The Dice.

Sick of these squash matches.

Cesaro Vs Sheamus, match 6 of best of 7 series is next.

Video on our new Cruiserweight Champion, TJ Perkins.

The Cruiserweights Arrive on Raw, tonight.

Cesaro Vs Sheamus, match 6 is up now.

The series is tied at 3-3, with Cesaro hitting a Neutralizer, winning the match.

Foley is on the phone, making it official, match 7 is at Clash of Champions.

Jericho is with Foley.  Jericho is making the list of Jericho, with what Foley has done poorly as a GM.

Foley calls him a stupid idiot, and tells Chris he looks stupid with this scarf, right here in Memphis.

Jericho will now have to tell the world what is on the list of Jericho.

The List of Jericho is on The Highlight Reel.

For the last 2 months, Mick Foley has done a terrible job as GM, and we all know it.  He has screwed with Chris, he has screwed with his best friend Kevin Owens, and we will hear the list now.

  1.  He has tried to develop a fringe between his best friend and himself, Kevin Owens, but it won’t happen.
  1.   He has horrible fashion senses.

  2.   He has a liking for that psychedelic Sami Zayn, and he will take care of him next week at Clash of Champions.

Here comes Enzo and Cass.

Enzo and Cass have an issue with Jericho calling Owens his best friend, because a best friend wouldn’t make him wear that horrible scarf.  When they think of best friends, they think of Enzo and Cass, Bart and Millhouse, Burt and Ernie, Ashton and Justin.

Jericho said half of those people don’t even exist, and they bring up Ashton?  What is this, 1998?

Here come The Shining Stars.

They talk about how everyone needs to relax, and they can do that by traveling to Caribbean.

OHHHHHHHH MEMPHIS, ITS TIME TO STAND UP, AND CLAP YOUR HANDS TOGETHER FOR YOU WORLD FAMOUS 2-TIME WWE WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, AND IT’S A NEW DAY, YES IT IS!!

The new Day come out, and share their thoughts on this, and here comes Anderson and Gallows.

They say its stupid to hear them talk about their cereal, which is why they will take their Tag Titles at Clash of Champions.

Jericho calls them all stupid idiots, and says they all made the list of Jericho, and here comes Sami Zayn.  Now all 11 men are fighting each other when we go to a break.

10-man tag match is now.

The team of Enzo, Cass, Sami, and New Day win with a Helluva Kick, and a Badda Boom Shaka Lacka, winning the match.

Earlier tonight, we see where Foley made the match official for United States Championship at Clash of Champions.  And tonight, steel cage match between Reigns Vs Owens.

More Cruiswerweight video with Richard Swann and Grand Metalik.

The Cruiserweights Arrive, next.

September is Hispanic Heritage Month, and we look back at the late, great Eddie Guerrero.

Mick Foley is here, again.

He is here to introduce the Cruiserweights.

4 competitors are here now.  Rich Swann, Grand Metalik, Cedrick Alexander, and The Brian Kendrick.

Mick tells us every title will be defended at Clash of Champions, and that includes the new Cruiserweight Title.  The winner of this Fatal 4-Way match will face TJ Perkins at the PPV.

That match is next.

The Brian Kendrick wins the match, making Cedrick tap out to Captain’s Hook, a Crossface submission hold.

Kendrick Vs Perkins is set at Clash of Champions, for the Cruiserweight Title.

Last week, we saw Nia Jax face Alicia Fox, and this coming Sunday, on the Kick-Off show, these two will hook it up, again.

The steel cage is being lowered.  Our main event is live, and next on Raw.

We are live at the Fed Ex Forum, in Memphis, Tennessee, set for our main event.

Owens vs Reigns, inside a steel cage.

Reigns wins the match by escaping out of the cage, before Owens could.

Rusev shows up, and the two men fight it out.

Rusev and Owens has Reigns trapped inside the cage, and here comes Rollins.  He climbs up the very top of the cage, and flies, ending the show with all four men down.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Yup, they are going to reunite Reigns and Rollins, even if it’s for one night.  A good show tonight, the only two down parts were the two squashes.  But I love how they treated the Cruiserweight Division, and can’t wait to see more.  The women’s tag match was very good, Cesaro and Sheamus move on, we hear from the great List of Jericho, and 2 good main event matches, to boot.

Not much more you can ask for, setting up Clash of Champions.

Send me your opinions, and get ready for Smackdown Live tomorrow night.

WWE Monday Night Raw 8/29/16…Fatal 4-Way For The Universal Title

Tonight, we will see who the new WWE Universal Champion will be in a Fatal 4-Way match.  We will also see match 2 of Best of 7 Series, between Sheamus Vs Cesaro.

Raw is in 15 minutes.

In memory of Harry “Mr. Fuji” Fujiwara.

Clips from last week, when Finn Balor had to forfeit his WWE Universal Championship, and tonight we see a Fatal 4-Way to determine the new WWE Universal Champion.

We are live in Houston, Texas.  Corey Graves is standing by with all 4 competitors in the ring.

If it wasn’t for what Seth Rollins did to Finn Balor, he never would have underwent shoulder surgery.  And he would have never relinquish the Universal Championship.

Seth Rollins is the number one draft choice, he is ready to take the Universal Championship, and he is going to be very generous in giving mic time to any of these other competitors.

Kevin is gracious, and he puts over the other three competitors.  But now it’s time to be serious.  Now that Sami Zayn is out of the picture, he can focus on going after the prize.  He is a prize fighter.  And he is at his best when the big fights take place.

Now Seth, he is at his best, but Kevin is better.  Roman fights a bigger fight, but Owens fights smarter.  Big Cass, well he is just tall.

But Cass doesn’t even have his mouthpiece, which means he can talk.

Cass knows where he stands, he is the new guy.  He doesn’t have any titles, but he has nothing to lose.  He may be a new guy, but he is the biggest dog in the fight.  And Seth no matter what he tries to tell himself, size does matter.

How ya doin’?

It’s Seth’s turn to talk.  He is glad this is an elimination match, because he will send Cass back with his partner.  And Owens, he will eliminate him, and send him back to his Ernie-=wearing scarf, Chris Jericho.  And Roman, we all know how we stand, he will just have to beat Roman again.  There are three things in life.  Death, paying taxes, and beating Roman Reigns.

Corey asks Roman his thoughts, Roman stands up, and gives Owens a cheap shot, and the fighting with all four men begins.  It ends with Roman giving Seth a Superman Punch, and looks at the Universal Title.

Fatal 4-Way match for Universal Title.

Tonight, Paul Heyman addresses what Brock Lesnar did at Summerslam.

But next, Jericho Vs Neville.

Tom Phillips asks Chris Jericho that he gave a cheap shot to Neville to allow Owens to advance to tonight’s match.

Jericho tells us we all knew Owens was going to win.  So Neville is upset?  Is he fired up?  Does the Mighty Mouse come around to sing “Here I come to save the day”?  You know what he’s going to get?

Tom answers it.

No, that doesn’t make sense, you stupid idiot.  He is going to get the gift of Jericho.  Drink it in, man.

Jericho Vs Neville, now.

A great match between these two, we see Jericho make Neville tap to Walls of Jericho.

Raw is starting off good tonight.

Earlier today, Bayley was hugging everyone working for WWE, and she ran into New Day.

Dana Brooke interrupts this fun.

She tells Bayley she doesn’t belong here.

But who did she beat?

Who?

Who?

Who?

Dana is trying to counter that, but she brings up Gallows and Anderson.  They challenge them to a 6 person tag match, and Dana says to bring it on.

Bayley replies it’s already been brought.

Nia Jax is in the ring, ready to squash someone else.

She wins, with ease.

Gallows and Anderson used to be doctors, but now they are in the retirement business.  Some superstars need a little encouragement, like the Dudley Boyz.  Now they are enjoying table tennis, 3-D movies, and remembering back at the days when they used to matter.

But another team who needs to think about retirement are The New Day.  They are here to help them out, as is Nurse Dana Brooke.

We see footage of last night’s WWE Universal Title Tournament, with Seth Rollins.  He will walk out as “The Man” and be the new WWE Universal Champion.

Sami Zayn Vs Jinder Mahal is now.

An injured Sami Zayn hits a Helluva Kick to win the match.

Tonight, 6-Person tag match of Gallows, Anderson, and Brooke Vs The New Day and Bayley.

But next, we will get an update from Sasha Banks.

They show us footage from the Raw pre-show.  Sasha tells us she did hurt her back, but will be back soon.

Charlotte is with the crew.  Sasha calls Charlotte a coward, but Charlotte reminds us she was without her father, and Dana Brooke, so what is her excuse?

AHHHHHH H-TOWN, IT’S TIME TO STAND UP AND APPLAUD YOUR 2-TIME TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS….THERE’S A NEW DAY IN TOWN, YES IT IS.

6-person tag match of New Day and Bayley Vs Gallows, Anderson, and Dana Brooke.

Bayley and New Day win the match when Bayley hits Bayley to Belly, on Dana.

Tonight, Paul Heyman returns to address Brock Lesnar’s actions.  Also tonight, Fatal 4-Way match for the WWE Universal Title.

Cesaro is with Tom Phillips.  He is in a rough spot, being down 1-0 to Sheamus.  But he will do what it takes to win this series, because he wants a shot at a title that Mick Foley promised.  Nobody like Sheamus, so he will take care of him tonight.

Big Cass profile, heading into tonight’s Fatal 4-Way match.

Sheamus Vs Cesaro, match 2 of the Best of 7 is now.

Sheamus wins the match, taking advantage of Cesaro’s injured leg, makes him tap to the Cloverleaf.

Sheamus leads the series 2-0.

Video tribute to Mr. Fuji.

Kevin Owens video is playing now.

Braun Strowman Vs Americo, you know the story here.

Pain!!

He takes the mask off the dude too.

Stephanie McMahon is headed to the ring, next.

Video of Tomasa Chiapa, Cedrick Alexander, and Johnny Gargano, the future of the Cruiserweights are coming to Raw.  They arrive Raw in 3 weeks.

Stephanie McMahon comes to the ring.

She welcomes us to Raw, yet we have been on the air for 2 hours.

Tonight, Fatal 4-Way match for the WWE Universal Title, but first we must discuss what happened to her brother at Summerslam.  Some may think she was glad Brock Lesnar F-5’d Shane, but he is family, and you never mess with family…

Ladies and gentlemen, Paul Heyman just interrupted Stephanie McMahon.

Ladies and gentlemen, his name is Paul Heyman, and Stephanie if you may indulge him….

Stephanie tells him this is her ring, he needs to come to the ring, and apologize.

If I may Madame….

Don’t call her Madame.

ECW chants, and Stephanie thanks them saying she purchased ECW, so thank you.

Heyman reminds Steph that when Brock Lesnar pinned Randy Orton, Raw beat Smackdown.  Now he gets it, when Brock nailed an official, and he F-5’d her brother, he crossed the line.  But he is here to pay his client’s most reasonable fine, $500.

All dollar bills, I love it.

And now he is count them one by one.

Stephanie throws the money.

Brock provides value to Monday Night Raw, but what value does he provide Stephanie.  Explain to his daughter that his Daddy can’t provide for her anymore.  There is a storm coming, and it coming your ugly way.

And so the angel comes from heaven above to warn the advocate you will not survive the pending storm to which, no his client Brock Lesnar IS THE STORM!!

There is an apology to come out 8 days late, and there is an apology that goes out to Stephanie McMahon.

They understand the situation they put Stephanie through the board of directors, to which her brother is a part, that Stephanie has to dictate to.  We understand her father is a part of that board, and the money they make this company, to which the female empowerment.

No, Stephanie says there is a female revolution staring at him in the face.

Heyman understands Stephanie is the only, and right heir to the throne of this empire, and he is here to ask her, to beg her that she accepts this as a fine laid, and an apology that is sincerely delivered.

Apology accepted, she walks off.

And Heyman loves that.

We go back to the WWE Universal Championship, when Seth Rollins lays Finn Balor out with a Buckle Bomb.  And Finn popped his shoulder back in place, and won the WWE Universal Championship.

Footage from last Tuesday, when Balor went through his surgery, and he showed a tweet of his shoulder the day of the surgery.

Fatal 4-Way to the WWE Universal Championship tonight.  Seth Rollins Vs Big Cass Vs Kevin Owens Vs Roman Reigns.

Next, it’s Titus O’ Neil Vs Darren Young

We now see footage of Roman Reigns.

Darren wins with a rollup.

It’s time to make Darren Young great again.

Titus lays out Darren and Mr. Backlund.  Clash of the Titus.

Mick Foley and Stephanie appearance.  Mick feels he should have been out there.  Let’s ban friends and tag team partners out of tonight’s match.  Seth Rollins tells Steph tonight will be the best night ever, and all of that faith she has in him will be worth it.

Stephanie believes in Rollins.

Our main event is up now.  Rollins Vs Owens Vs Big Cass Vs Reigns, winner becomes WWE Universal Champion.

Cass is eliminated, he sure looked great, giving Reigns two big boots.  But all three men teamed up to eliminate him, and Owens hit the Frogsplash for the pin.

Now there are three.

HHH just came out, and gave Reigns a Pedigree, and made Rollins pin him.

It’s now between Owens and Rollins.

HOLY SHIT!!  HHH JUST TURNED ON ROLLING, AND PEDIGREED ROLLING.

OWENS IS THE UNIVERSAL CHAMPION!!!

What an ending, what a moment.  But now Foley and HHH are looking eye to eye, when HHH leaves.

Owens is crying too, what a moment for Kevin.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Kevin Owens Show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

What a historic night indeed, a changing of the guard so to speak.  I loved it, because it makes this show interesting.  What will Rollins do from here?  You have to believe Rollins will be gunning for HHH, right?  And will Reigns team up with Rollins to reform The Shield?

My gawd, share your thoughts with me.  Just an amazing ending.

Tonight, Ambrose and Reigns face Wyatt and Harper.

Video setting up that match.

John Cena is backstage talking with Jon Stewart.  He brings up Jon’s past with Seth Rollins.  Jon asked John to sign an autograph for his son, but it’s meant to sell for E-Bay.

Anyway….

John Cena Vs Seth Rollins.  Title for Title, winner takes all.

Cena Vs Rollins video is showing.

Footage from WWE being in New York this week.

Tonight, Cesaro Vs Kevin Owens will take place.

We see their altercation 3 weeks ago.

Kevin Owens joins the panel.

He confronts Booker T when Booker suggested Kevin is jealous of Cesaro.

Owens tells Byron he will take care of the Cesaro Section tonight.

Tonight, 3-team Divas Elimination match.

Video is being shown.

Who is going to win tonight’s big Diva’s match?

Also tonight, Fatal 4-Way match for the Tag Team Titles.  Prime Time Players Vs Lucha Dragons Vs Los Matadores Vs New Day.

Also tonight, IC Title Triple Threat match with Ryback facing The Miz and Big Show.

Footage from 2 weeks ago, when Ryback returned to Raw.

Also tonight, Randy Orton Vs Sheamus.

Rich Brennaman is standing by with Sheamus.

Sheamus tell us the only thing that truly matters to WWE is Money in the Bank briefcase.  2 weeks ago, he was very close of being a 2-time WWE Champion, but Randy Orton ruined those plans.  So tonight, he will give him Brogue Kick, after Brogue Kick, after Brogue Kick.  And he will take out “The Viper”, then fulfill his dream of being WWE Champion.

You know why that is?  Because it is what it is.

Jo-Jo will speak with Stephanie McMahon now.

Stephanie brings up this match will showcase what is the most dominant diva team at the moment.  A few weeks ago, she started the Diva Revolution, and women have played such a huge part in sports lately.  Ronda Rousey, UFC Women’s Batenweight Champion.  Serena Williams, is the most dominant Tennis player right now.

She can’t pick a winner, but the winner will go to the spoils.

Social Media Lounge will come up next, with Neville and Arrow.

Neville and Arrow will stop Stardust and King Barrett at all costs.

We now see Dolph Ziggler’s return to Raw last week.

Ziggler Vs Rusev face off, tonight.

Who wins tonight?  Brock Lesnar or The Undertaker?

Summerslam starts in 5 minutes.

Jon Stewart begins the show.

Jon tells us this is a historic night, 10 of the biggest matches we will see.  He has spent 16 years talking about politics, it’s nice to be back to reality.  The difference is the wrestlers respect the audience.  He now is giving us a list of wrestlers who will be here tonight.

Come on, get with the show.

Jon is still upset at Brock ending “The Streak” at Wrestlemania.  He wanted to interview Brock, and tell him, but he needs some backup.

None other than WWE Hall of Famer, Mick Foley.

Foley has a funny story here.  When Jon called him, and he asked Mick to interview Brock, it could have been his fuzzy ear, because he thought Jon was referring to The Rock.

Because if he had heard him right, he never would have agreed to it.

So Mick Foley is afraid of Brock Lesnar?

Yes he is, Jon reminds Mick he had wrestled The Undertaker in Hell in a Cell at King of the Ring, fell from 100 feet.

Yes, that did happen, 17 years ago, before Jon had done “The Daily Show”.  The one place Mick has never been to is Suplex City, and that isn’t happening now.

On to the show then.

The 28th annual Summerslam is live in Brooklyn, New York, inside the Barclays Center.  JBL, Michael Cole, and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to the show.

Orton Vs Sheamus kicks things off.

Sheamus wins the match with 2 Brogue Kicks, the crowd still hates Sheamus’ hair though.

2 guys from Draft Kings attend Summerslam, okay moving on.

WWE Tag Title match is up now.

Prime Time Players Vs Los Matadores Vs Lucha Dragons Vs New Day.

New Day are here to teach us about something called hip hop.

Now they are singing us about New Day, shades of “Empire State of Mind”.

Classic.

New Day picks up the win when Titus did all of the work, Kofi made a blind tag and pinned one of Los Matadores.

New Day Rocks!!

More Jon Stewart, with Arrow and Neville.  Telling them he is close with Undertaker.

The lights go out, and we see Taker walking by.

Jon is selling more stuff on E-Bay.

Rusev Vs Ziggler is up now.

This ends in a double countout that saw all 4 people involved, and ends with Summer Rae and Lana fighting each other, on top of Ziggler and Rusev.

Expect a mixed tag match at Night of Champions.

King Barrett and Stardust Vs Neville and Amell, now.

Stephen Amell did more selling than I thought he would, but Arrow and Neville win, when Amell takes out Stardust, and Neville nails a Red Arrow on Barrett.

IC Title match is up now.  Ryback Vs Big Show Vs The Miz.

Ryback steals the pin when Big Show knocks The Miz out, and Ryback threw Show out of the ring.

More Jon Stewart footage, trying to confront Brock Lesnar.

He runs into Paul Heyman instead.

We are live in Brooklyn, New York, at the Barclays Center.

Tag Team action is set now.  The Wyatt Family Vs Ambrose and Reigns.

No heel turn by Ambrose here, just a more or less domination from the Brothers of Shield.  Reigns gives Wyatt a Spear, after Dirty Deeds by Ambrose.

Cena Vs Rollins, winner takes all is next.

Wow, they truly went with this.  Seth Rollins just became the new United States Champion, and is WWE World Champion with help by Jon Stewart?

We had the ref bump, and Jon came out with a chair, acting like he was torn about who to hit, and he nails Cena with it, with Rollins using a Pedigree to pin Cena.

Fantastic match, just a sad state of affairs that John Cena has to job to Jon Stewart.

The Summerslam panel discuss matters.

Divas Revolution tag match is up now.

Team B.A.D. is eliminated now, when Brie pins Tamina.

Team PCB win when Becky hits a Pump Handle Slam, pinning Brie Bella.  This was going to be an elimination match, but they changed the rules to just give us 2 falls.

A bit of a letdown after last night’s fantastic Women’s match, but considering the women involved, it was okay.

Then again, Sasha Banks, who wrestled last night didn’t do much tonight.

Cesaro Vs Owens is up now.

Owens wins a big match with a Pop-Up Powerbomb.

The announcers called this a must-win match for Owens’ career.

WWE Night of Champions is on September 20th, in 4 weeks.

Our main event, Brock Lesnar Vs The Undertaker.  A match 16 months in the making is now.

Wow, what an intense main event that delivered in everything possible, except the ending.

Brock had Taker in his Kimura Submission move, and Undertaker actually tapped out.  The bell-ringer rang the bell, but Charles Robinson didn’t call for the match to end, he screamed at the bell-ringer for this, and Undertaker hits a low blow and slaps Hell’s Gate.

Brock would not tap out though, and even flipped Taker off, but he did pass out.  Charles calls for the bell, when Brock passes out, and Undertaker picks up the win.

Heyman rings the bell, telling us all we saw it, the bell ringer saw, and Brock Lesnar is the real winner.

We end the night with Brock walking out with Heyman.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

So that is how the match ends, we have our 2 biggest matches end in such bullshit ways.  But both matches did their thing.

WWE did a great job of making this important, and give Undertaker credit, he looks in fantastic shape.  But I hated the ending.

So here we go, what will happen tomorrow night?  What did you think of the show?  Send me your thoughts, and I will talk to you tomorrow night for Raw.

Hopefully, the show will be good and we will see the build to Night of Champions.

WWE Elimination Chamber 5/31/15

Tonight, a bonus PPV, exclusively on WWE Network.  We have 2 Elimination Chamber matches, one for the Intercontinental Title, and a World Tag Team Title match.

But first, the Kick-Off show.

Here we go, keep checking here throughout the night.

Renee Young is joined by Byron Saxton, Booker T, and Corey Graves on the Elimination Chamber panel.

Rusev will not be in the Elimination Chamber match tonight.  He injured his ankle this past Thursday night against Ryback.

It’s a tough situation for Rusev, I hope he recovers quickly.

So who will be added to the Elimination Chamber IC Title match?

Booker T speculates it could be a former World Champion being added to the match.  Orton, perhaps?

Tom Phillips is in the Social Media Lounge.  We will hear from Lana later tonight.

Kane is on the phone, making sure everything will be set up.  New Day approaches Kane.

Kane makes sure that all three men have the opportunity to defend their titles, by putting all three men inside the chamber.  The pods will not be changed.

Later tonight on The Kick-Off show will be Miz TV, featuring Daniel Bryan.

Owens Vs Cena is being profiled now.

Last year, at NXT Arrival, Neville defeated Bo Dallas, tonight they compete in a WWE ring.

Also tonight, Divas Triple Threat for the Divas Title.  Paige Vs Nikki Bella Vs Naomi.

Our Elimination Chamber Kick-Off match tonight is going to be Zack Ryder Vs Stardust.

That match is set now.

Stardust wins the match CrossRoads.

Last Monday night on Raw, we see Lana walking away from Rusev.

Lana joins Tom Phillips at Social Media Lounge.

Lana likes Ziggler, it seems.

She liked Rusev, and will always be appreciative of what he did for her.  But it’s time to move on.

It’s time for Miz TV, with the returning The Miz.  Summer Rae  introduced The Miz.

Miz and his guest Daniel Bryan.

Miz is concerned for Daniel Bryan.  Daniel assures Miz that he is coming back to wrestle, he is writing a book, due out in July.

Daniel is sick of Miz TV, and he knows the fans are too.  But so are these guys…

The Meta-Powers.

They take care of The Miz, with the Flying Elbow and a Leg Drop.

Gawd, this is awful.

World Title video, with Ambrose Vs Rollins

Eden Stiles interviews Dean Ambrose.

There is no pressure for Ambrose tonight.  He is ready, and will do anything to piss HHH off as the new WWE World Champion.

Roman Reigns checks to see if Ambrose is ready, and assures him he is going to be in his corner tonight for their title match.

JBL gives us a tour inside Elimination Chamber.

And our show begins, now.

Our first match is for the WWE World Tag Team Titles.  New Day Vs Lucha Dragons Vs The Ascension Vs Prime Time Players Vs Los Matadores Vs Kidd and Tyson.

Los Matadores are eliminated first, with Fall of Man.  The Ascension pin Diego.

Lucha Dragons are eliminated, with Fall of Man, again by The Ascension.

2 more teams are set to exit from the pod.

The Ascension are now eliminated by Prime Time Players.

New Day will enter the chamber last.

Kidd and Cesaro are pinned when Cesaro had the Cesaro Swing, but Darren Young rolls him up for the pin.

So now it’s New Day Vs Prime Time Players.

New Day wins the match with Trouble In Paradise, retaining the Tag Titles.  A big cluster, but it was fun, and historic with Tag Titles on the line.

WWE Money in the Bank is in 2 weeks, June 14th.

Rusev will not compete in tonight’s Elimination Chamber match, for the IC Title.

Who will be the 6th man competing?

Backstage, Dolph Ziggler is warming up for his match.  Lana wishes him luck tonight.  Ziggler said it was too bad about Rusev.  He wanted to pin him himself, Lana told him tonight is not about Rusev, it’s about Ziggler.

Ziggler agrees, and says after his match, it will be about them.  Now Dolph will do what he does best.

Triple Threat match for the Divas Title is up now.

Paige Vs Naomi Vs Nikki Bella.

No seconds are out there in this match.

Nikki Bella wins the match with a Rack Attack, pinning Naomi.

Everything seemed so rushed here.  I can’t wait until Charlotte debuts soon on WWE roster.

Brie Bella comes out after the match, and rewards her sister with a hug.

Moving on.

Offspring “Coming For You” is the official theme song for Elimination Chamber.

Champion Vs Champion match is set.  Kevin Owens Vs John Cena.

It should be match of the night.

Lilian Garcia is back.

Kevin Owens made a statement tonight, pinning John Cena with a Pop-Up Powerbomb.

Match of the night, hands down and give Cena credit for making him look like an equal here in the ring.  Just a fantastic match.

Owens is on the mic, in tears.

On his first night of Raw, he said anyone that didn’t know him yet was not worth his time.  Well now, everybody knows who Kevin Owens is.

He is the man who started a fight with John Cena, and Owens is now the man who finished the fight.

Owens has some “veteran” advice for Cena.  It’s time for Cena to go, because his time is up, and Owens’ time is now.  The Champ Is Here.

The Elimination Chamber Kick-off panel is up now.

Bo Dallas tells us everyone needs help, he tried to help Neville.  But tonight, he is going to force Neville to BOlieve.

Neville Vs Bo Dallas is now.

Neville wins with Red Arrow.

It was good, but after that last match, it had no shot.

HHH comes to Ambrose and Reigns and informs them that while Kane will serve as an official, Reigns will not be in Ambrose’s corner, or else Dean will be DQ’d if Reigns interferes.

Daniel Bryan is out here for our next match, which is The Elimination Chamber match, for the Intercontinental Championship.

Dolph Ziggler Vs King Barrett Vs Ryback Vs Sheamus Vs R-Truth Vs…

Mark Henry.

Barrett is eliminated first with an assist by everyone involved, with Truth pinning him with a Lie Detector.

Truth is eliminated, with Shellshock by Ryback.

Henry is done now with a Brogue Kick by Sheamus.

We are down to Sheamus, Ziggler, and Ryback.

Ziggler is eliminated with a Brogue Kick.

Now it’s between Ryback and Sheamus.

Ryback wins the IC Title with Shellshock, pinning Sheamus.

I am happy for Ryback, but this match sucked. The crowd just can’t get into it, after the masterpiece that was Owens Vs Cena.

Ambrose Vs Rollins will hopefully pick it up.

Daniel Bryan endorses Ryback with this win, and Ryback puts Daniel over, calling him an inspiration.

A nice touch.

Tomorrow night, Stone Cold Podcast returns after Raw, with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s guest being Paul Heyman.

WWE Money in the Bank in 2 weeks.

Earlier tonight, Kevin Owens shocked the world, defeating John Cena.

Breaking news, in 2 weeks at Money in the Bank. The rematch, John Cena Vs Kevin Owens.

Ziggler, Neville, Reigns, Orton, Kofi, and Sheamus will vie for Money in the Bank in 2 weeks.

That is not all of the participants, just 6 so far.

Our main event is up now, Dean Ambrose Vs Seth Rollins, for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Ambrose wins the match…by DQ. The ref is knocked out when Rollins shoves him into Ambrose. Then Dean hits Dirty Deeds, another ref comes in and counts the pinfall for the win.

But the other ref told him about it, so while Dean wins, technically Rollins is still the WWE World Champion.

Reigns comes in and helps Ambrose fight off The Authority, and they leave with the title.

Possession is 9/10 of the law.

The show ends with Ambrose and Reigns leaving the building.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

The ending was too good to be true, which tells me that we will get a rematch set for Money in the Bank.

In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me if Reigns wins MITB ladder match, Ambrose wins title, and Reigns turns heel cashing in.

Overall, this show was highlighted by an amazing Cena Vs Owens match, where Owens made history. And the main event was good, even if the ending was a bit clustered.

But everything else just didn’t mesh well, especially the two chamber matches.

It felt like a rushed show, which is something this company can’t continue to do. Things are better when we get a slow build, and with this show being added just 2 weeks ago is not a good idea.

It takes away other builds for PPV, which is still important for your major shows.

But go out of your way to see Owens Vs Cena Part One, again. Part II is immediately in 2 weeks, which is something they can’t do too, but it’s a given Cena has to win that match.

But wouldn’t it be smart to save Cena Vs Owens III for Summerslam?

What were your thoughts on the show? Send them to me here, and I will talk to you tomorrow night for Raw.
