WWE Smackdown Live 10/18/16…AJ Styles Vs James Ellsworth

WWE Smackdown Live From Denver, Colorado

Tuesday, October 18th, 2016

Commentators:  Mauro Ranallo, David Otunga, and JBL

Tonight:  AJ Styles Vs James Ellsworth, for the WWE World Championship

Segment Number 1:  Randy Orton Promo

Orton gives credit where credit is due to Bray Wyatt.  The evil side goes deeper than he thought.  The harder you fight, the more you pull into the darkness, the more you suffocate.  Orton feels like he is losing the fight, but Bray has a bigger problem.  Randy is wrath, he is vengeance, and Randy is coming for Bray.  The light cut off, and we see Bray in a coffin.  Bray is coming after Orton, he is about to take him on a journey where he is grasping for his last breath.  And there is nothing he can do about it.  He’s here.

Match Number 1:  Randy Orton Vs Luke Harper

In the middle of the match, Bray Wyatt comes out, with the coffin.  Bray comes in the ring, to DQ Luke Harper.  The Wyatt Family attack Orton.  The casket opens, up, and Kane shows up.  Kane and Orton signal for a RKO/Chokeslam, but the lights go out, and the Wyatts are gone when the come back on.

Winner:  Randy Orton (Via DQ)

Segment Number 3:  AJ Styles Promo

Cathy Dennis has AJ Styles, tonight he is defending the WWE World Title.  AJ can’t believe what is happening tonight.  He is the face who runs this place.  He is the WWE World Champion, and he has to defend his title against the skinny, piece of turd.  And we know he is not in AJ’s league.  Dean Ambrose can do something to cost him the title.  It’s like WCW all over again, with David Arquette becoming WCW Champion.  And he has to face that “noodle”.  But if Dean Ambrose does something, he will find him.

Tonight:  World Championship Match, AJ Styles Vs James Ellsworth

Tonight:  6-Man Tag Match, Dolph Ziggler and Beauty and the Man-Beast Vs The Spirit Squad and The Miz.

Next:  Naomi Vs Alexa Bliss

Match Number 2:  Alexa Bliss Vs Naomi

Alexa got the revenge she needed after losing to Naomi a few weeks ago.  Alexa picks up the win with Twisted Bliss.  They can easily set Naomi up to be the next challenger, since she pinned the Number One Contender.  Alexa has a title shot on November 8th, live on Smackdown against Becky Lynch.  Renee Young interviews Alexa after her match, and she said the “Cinderella Dream” ends in 3 weeks, and the wicked witch will be done.  There will be a new princess, and that will be Alexa Bliss.

Winner:  Alexa Bliss (By pinfall)

Video:  Last week on Smackdown Live, with Ziggler Vs The Spirit Squad.

Tonight:  6-man tag match, Ziggler and Beauty and the Man-Beast Vs The Miz and Spirit Squad.

Next:  Curt Hawkins in-ring match.

Match Number 3:  Apollo Crews Vs Curt Hawkins

The match never takes place, because Curt talks some trash about Apollo Crews.  Crews slaps Curt’s face, and Curt Hawkins leaves.

Winner:  No Contest

Tonight:  AJ Styles Vs James Ellsworth for WWE World Title.

Next:  Carmella

Segment Number 6:  Carmella Promo

Two months ago in Brooklyn, New York she was basking in her first PPV match, and who’s music did she hear?  Nikki Freaking Bella, and she doesn’t get why the fans love her.  But Carmella is about to spill the tea on Nikki Bella.  Here comes Nikki.  Nikki is curious to hear what Carmella has to say, so instead of attacking from her behind, she can say it to her face.  Once again, Nikki is stealing her spotlight, but then again she is not surprised since her boyfriend is John Cena.  And she got her spot because she gets to go home to “Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect”.  Nikki is not surprised by this, and Carmella thinks she is hiding it.  But they have two shows together.  Everyone knows, but she chooses not to talk about it in WWE.  Nikki calls Carmella a bully, just like the internet bullies.  Carmella calls John a gold digger.  And we see some edited clips of “Total Bellas” to prove that point.  Carmella can edit, but what she doesn’t know is Nikki paved her own road, she pays her own bills, and wears the pants in her relationship.  You don’t believe her, when they didn’t believe in her, Nikki trained hard to prove them wrong, and when she did get that respect, her world shattered when she hurt her neck.  And she worked hard to get back to where she is at, and she won’t let a princess from Staten Island to hurt her.  Carmella tells Nikki she is a marketing campaign, with her “Fearless” T-shirt.  But she used her looks to get into the company.  She used her sister to get in the ring, and she is using her man to get in this spot.

Segment Number 7:  Interview with James Ellsworth

Renee Young is backstage with James.  James is nervous about tonight’s match, and he knows he’s not in the league of the Champ who runs this camp.  But he is going to be okay, win or lose.  Because he can tell his Grandchildren that for one night, he main evented Smackdown Live with AJ Styles.

Next:  6-Man Tag Match

Match Number 4:  Dolph Ziggler and Beauty and Man-Beast (WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions) Vs The Miz and Spirit Squad.

With some help from The Miz, decking Heath Slater, Kenny pins Slater, with a roll up and wins the match.

Winners:  The Miz and Spirit Squad.

Segment Number 9:  Daniel Bryan and Natalya

Nattie wants to be the first person to volunteer in the Survivor Series challenge.  She quotes Whitney Houston, and wants show her cats Instagram.

Match Number 5:  Jack Swagger Vs Baron Corbin.

End of Days, in very quick fashion.  Probably shorter than the main event.

Winner:  Baron Corbin (By Pinfall)

Segment Number 10:  More Natalya and Daniel Bryan

More cat pictures, but Dean Ambrose come out, dressed in a ref shirt.  He is ready to serve as the special guest ref.  He will call it down the line.  Daniel says he can’t be the ref tonight.  He can do anything else he want, just not a ref for the World Title match.

Next:  WWE World Title match

Match Number 6:  AJ Styles (WWE World Champion) Vs James Ellsworth, for WWE World Title.

Dean Ambrose served as many roles in this match.  Special Ring Announcer, Special Bell Ringer, Promoting WWEShopzone.com.  He did everything, and he made AJ so mad that AJ kept punching James Ellsworth to the point that he made it past the 5 count, so is DQ;d, losing the match to James.  The challenger did lay a offenive move, with Sweet Chin Music.  Dean announcers AJ is the loser of this match, AJ charges the ring, and is hit by Dirty Deeds to end the show.

Winner:  James Ellsworth (By DQ)

Kevin’s Thoughts:

There is 5 weeks left until Survivor Series, so this felt like another filler show.  But I loved the main event, and am sure we will now get a No DQ match between James and AJ, right?  What were your thoughts on the show?  Send them to me.

Quick Results:

Randy Orton def Luke Harper, by DQ

Alexa Bliss def Naomi, by pinfall

Curt Hawkins Vs Apollo Crews ends in No Contest

The Miz and Spirit Squad Vs Dolph Ziggler, Beauty and Man-Beast, by pinfall

Baron Corbin def Jack Swagger, by pinfall

James Ellsworth def AJ Styles, by DQ

WWE Smackdown Live 10/11/16…No Mercy Fallout

WWE Smackdown Live, from San Jose, California

Tuesday, October 11th, 2016

Commentators:  Mauro Ranallo, JBL, and David Otunga

Segment Number 1:  Promo with new IC Champ, Dolph Ziggler.

The weeks leading into No Mercy, Ziggler put his career on the line, and he gave himself one way out…win.  And he didn’t know at No Mercy, walking in if that was the last time he’d see the fans.  The last time he was going to tape his wrists, the last time he’d sit in the back, and devise a gameplan.  The last time he was going to spray tan Zack Ryder’s back.  The last time he would walk into this ring.  For the first time in 12 years, he doubted himself and thought he made a mistake.  He had people approach him and say he didn’t have to do this, but he needed to do it.  He knew that moment he set foot in this ring, he knew this is where he belonged.  And he knew no matter what, The Miz, Maryse, The Spirit Squad, Kerwin White’s caddy, he would walk out as our Intercontinental Champion.  And dammit, they did it.

AWWWWESSOME!!  Here comes The Miz and Maryse.  They are both dressed in black, as if they are at a funeral.  They bow their heads down, for a moment of silence.

The Miz wants to take a moment to mourn the death of the Intercontinental Championship, because no matter how much Daniel Bryan held him back, for 188 days, The Miz was the one who brought back the prestige back to the title.  Not him, not you, not the fans, The Miz was the one.  Your victory is a funeral for the IC Title’s death, because if the mediocrity of Ziggler.  But if you think this is over, this is just act 2, where the hero needs to overcome all odds.  Miz is that hero.  It’s The Empire Strikes Back, because the movies all end the same.  The hero gets the gold, and the girl.  He already has the girl.  He wants the gold.

Ziggler was going to share something with the crowd, and he’s glad Miz is out here, so roll the footage.

Video:  The Miz crying

Was he just crying?  Is Miz about to cry right now?  Miz asks if this is funny, that face is everything he worked for, everything that was sacrificed, and he takes that very seriously.  Miz takes this very, very seriously, and if he thinks for one second that he did so much to keep it, imagine how much he can do to get it back.  Miz isn’t done with Ziggler, and neither are they.

The Spirit Squad.  They tell Ziggler they must face them in a handicap match.  You want some of this, you got some of this.

Match Number 1:  Dolph Ziggler (IC Champion) Vs The Spirit Squad.  (Non-Title Match)

Ziggler defeated both men, with a Superkick, pinning Kenny.  The Miz lays Ziggler out with a Skull Crushing Finale.  Here comes Beauty and the Man-Beast to even the odds.

Winner:  Dolph Ziggler (IC Champion) Via Pinfall.

Women’s Championship set for November 8th, Live on Smackdown.

Tonight:  Randy Orton and Kane Vs Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper.

Next:  Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan has an announcement for Survivor Series.

Video:  WWE2K17

Segment Number 3:  Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon

November 20th is Survivor Series.  They want to give these guys an opportunity, which is why they are proposing a traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Match against Raw.  There will also be 5-on-5 Women’s Survivor Series Elimination Match too, will Raw say yes?

Match Number 2:  Carmella Vs Naomi.

Earlier tonight, Carmella attacked Nikki Bella, and this feud is far from over.  Naomi picks up the win rolling up Carmella, after Nikki Bella shows up.  Nikki goes after Carmella, and she runs through the crowd.

Winner:  Naomi (Via Pinfall)

Segment Number 5:  Backstage Promo with Alexa Bliss

Cathy Dennis wants some thoughts from Alexa, saying she just got lucky, and can beat Naomi any day of the week, and 2 times on Sunday.  Daniel Bryan hears this, and says Alexa will face her next Tuesday night.

Tonight:  AJ Styles Victory Speech

Heritage Hispanic Month:  Eva Longoria.

Match Number 3:  Jimmy Uso Vs Chad Gable

Uso wins the match with a roll up, and Jey held on to his brother for additional leverage.

Winner:  Jimmy Uso (Via Pinfall)

Segment Number 7:  Hype Bros Backstage Segment

Hype Bros need to stay focused on the Tag Team Titles, and is met with The Ascension, just staring at them, and walking away.

Tonight:  Orton and Kane Vs Wyatt and Harper.

Next:  AJ Styles Victory Speech.

Goldberg is on Raw, for the first time in 12 years.

Segment Number 8:  AJ Styles (WWE World Champion)

The Champ is Here!!  AJ beat Dean Ambrose AND John Cena, at the same time at No Mercy.  That isn’t just great, its phenomenal.  We live vicariously through AJ, but there is only room for one in this bandwagon.  So go cheer for John Cena.  Wait, he’s trying to be Kelly Ripa’s co-host.  But then again, you can cheer for Dean Ambrose.  You all are pathetic, but enough about you, let’s talk about AJ.  He beat John Cena.  He beat Dean Ambrose.  Some may not like how he did it, but one thing about AJ Styles is he does whatever it takes to win.  Did he say he beat John Cena and Dean Ambrose?  its so nice, let him say it twice, he beat John Cena, and Dean Ambrose.  Now some may take a year off after doing that, but he is about giving opportunities.  So come on out, and he will make them main event material.

Here comes Dean Ambrose.  Dean had AJ beat, but he had to take it the easy way out.  AJ reminds Dean you can’t win when two people make you tap.  Dean wants to remind him nobody on the roster will top him.  AJ says this isn’t a person currently on the roster, so come on out…..James Ellsworth.  The legend.  He had a chance to be AJ’s tag team partner a month ago, but The Miz beat him to a pulp, so now tonight, he gets his chance.  Non-title match, of course.  So scram Dean.

Dean wants to see this match, and here comes Daniel Bryan.  AJ may be the WWE World Champion, and he may be the Champ Who Runs This Camp, but Daniel runs Smackdown Live.  But he likes James Ellsworth, and makes the match official.  And Dean, AJ is right, you can’t be here, unless you’re the special guest ref.

Match Number 4:  AJ Styles (WWE World Champion) Vs James Ellsworth, with Dean Ambrose as special guest ref.

James Ellsworth wind the match, with some assistance from Dean Ambrose, with 2 Dirty Deeds, after AJ hits a Styles Clash.  Like I said, James is a legend.

Segment Number 10: Backstage Segment with Randy Orton and Kane

Orton meets up with Kane, saying being in Bray Wyatt’s world needs to stop.  They need to go in Orton’s world, with pain and agony.  Is Kane in?  Kane is in, but Randy, you have issues.

Video:  Royal Rumble:  Its All About The Numbers.

Moments Ago:  James Ellsworth defeated AJ Styles.

Segment Number 11:  AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, and Shane McMahon

AJ is irate at everything that just took place, and was starting to take blame on Daniel.  But Shane doesn’t want to hear that, saying it’s official James Ellerton defeated AJ Styles.  He walks out, and Daniel says he has an idea for next week with James.

Match Number 5:  Randy Orton and Kane Vs Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper

Bray and Luke pick up the win, when the lights go out, and Luke is on the other side.  Kane disappears, and we don’t know where he is.  Bray hits Sister Abigail, and pins Orton.  We end the show with Bray laughing, and celebrating.

Winners:  Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper (Via Pinfall)

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Just an average show really, no big build to Survivor Series, since we are still 20 days away from Hell in a Cell.  For some reason, I loved James Ellerton beating AJ though.  The dude has some great facial expressions.  But nothing else was very good.  Share your thoughts here with me,

Quick Match Results:

Dolph Ziggler def. The Spirit Squad (Via Pinfall)

Naomi def. Carmella (Via Pinfall)

Jimmy Uso def. Chad Gable (Via Pinfall)

James Ellerton def. AJ Styles (WWE World Champion) (Via Pinfall)

Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper def. Randy Orton and Kane (Via Pinfall)

WWE Smackdown Live 9/20/16…Cena Vs Ambrose

Tonight, it’s John Cena Vs Dean Ambrose, and The Miz Vs Dolph Ziggler, for the Intercontinental Championship.

Smackdown Live is now.

We are live in Birmingham, Alabama, 3 weeks away from No Mercy.  Daniel Bryan is in the ring.

We have an official contract signing for the Women’s Championship match at No Mercy.  We will keep things civil, this is Smackdown Live, and this is a new era, and that is how it will be.

Becky Lynch comes out first, followed by Alexa Bliss.

Mauro Ranallo, JBL, and David Otunga welcome us to the show.

Bliss tries to get into Becky’s head, but it isn’t working.  Becky is preparing for a fight.

Becky doesn’t even fit as a champion.  Her role is to succeed, then fail miserably.  She gets back to what she does best, get back up, and fail miserably.  She wasn’t born to win, she is born to be a loser.

Becky agrees, she wasn’t born to be a champion.  She was born to live in a small house in Dublin.  She was born to work at a crappy job, and be miserable.  But she has watched far too much TV, and listened when they said she can achieve anything if she wanted to be, and she wanted to be champion real bad.  She wasn’t born to be a champion, but she has worked hard to get where she is at, and she wants this a whole lot more than she wants it.  And if she thinks Alexa will take this away from Becky, she will rip her head off.

Alexa tells Becky she was always destined to finish second place.  And at No Mercy, she will expose her what she was meant to be, a one hit wonder.

She throws the contract at Becky, and flips the table.  Signs it, and Becky goes right after her.  She signs it, and holds the Smackdown Women’s Title high in the air.

Becky Lynch Vs Alexa Bliss, at No Mercy.

The Usos are in action Vs American Alpha, next.

Backstage is The Miz and Daniel Bryan.

We have a problem, it’s the IC Title defense tonight.  Daniel said we can cancel the match, and The Miz is happy about that.  Daniel said they can cancel the match, and cancel the contract.  He didn’t read the fine print.  But that’s okay, they can cancel the match, and the contract.  But then again, Miz can’t do then what Daniel can’t do.  Is there a problem?

No.

Usos Vs American Alpha is now.

Winner gets Tag Team Title shot against Slater and Rhyno at No Mercy.

The Usos win the match with a Samoan Splash.  A fantastic match here that told the story of The Usos working on the injured knee of Chad Gable.  Chad wanted the tag, but Jason refused, in fear of Chad’s knee, and The Usos took over, and won.

At No Mercy, its Slater and Rhyno Vs The Usos.

Slater and Rhyno are ready for their match.  The Usos confront them, and said they got lucky at Backlash.  They have two options, either hand over their Tag Team Titles right now, or they take out Slater’s knee right now, so he and his 26 ragged ass kids can go back where they came from.

Tonight, its Randy Orton Vs Erick Rowan.

Jack Swagger joins us for Baron Corbin Vs Apollo Crews.

Corbin wins with End of Days, after destroying Crews.

Corbin goes face to face now with Swagger, and walks away.

Dean Ambrose is getting ready for his match with Cena.

Intercontinental Title is on the line tonight, The Miz Vs Ziggler.

Curt Hawkins is telling us more facts.

Naomi and Nikki are getting ready for their match, Charly Caruso asks how they keep this momentum against Carmella and Natalya.

Glowing is to be confident about yourself.  Natalya’s glow is corrupt, but she has an antidote for her.  She is going to make sure she feels the glow.

Carmella wants to make a name for herself, but Nikki isn’t the Nikki Bella she was a year ago.  She is fighting like this is her last match.  Nikki is glow, and Carmella is a bootleg.

Renee Young is with Dolph Ziggler.

Dolph hasn’t had many wins lately, but this is Smackdown Live, and anything can happen.  The Miz is desperate, he wants to cling onto that title, but Dolph is desperate too.  He wasn’t supposed to be a World Champion, but he did.  He wasn’t supposed to be a Kent State Hall of Famer, but he is.  There is only one thing left to do, win the whole damn thing.

Ziggler Vs The Miz, for the IC Title is now.

Miz used the spray Maryse had tried to use earlier, and hit Skull Crushing Finale for the pinfall victory.

A great match between these two.

Tonight, Cena Vs Ambrose, one on one.  But next, it’s Orton Vs Rowan.

RKO…BOOM…Match is done.

The lights go out, come back on, and we see the sheep mask in the ring.

Bray is on the screen.  The Viper strikes again.  They love you, but you and I Randy, we are about to embark of the most unholy of matrimonii.  Till death do us part, Randy.  But Randy is just a man, and Bray is a GOD that will never die.

Run.

Nikki and Naomi Vs Carmella and Natalya, next.

Carmella and Nattie are DQ’d when Carmella rammed Nikki on the barricade a few times.

The match ended as quickly as it began.

AJ Styles is polishing his title.  Charly Caruso interviews Styles.  He doesn’t have a rivalry with Cena and Ambrose, because he beat both of them.  The face who runs this place.  The Champ that runs this place.  He is the WWE World Champion.  All of those says he is superior to any of them.  So why should he face them in a Triple Threat match?  Its simple, that is the best way for him to lose the title.  So this is the best part, he gets to watch Ambrose and Cena beat the crap out of each other, and The Champ will watch it all.

Our main event, Cena vs Ambrose is now.

Ambrose rolls up Cena for the pinfall victory.

AJ Styles came from the crowd, laid both Ambrose and Cena out.

Daniel Bryan was impressed by what AJ did.  But last week, Shane McMahon promised Dean would receive a WWE World Title rematch.  That will happen, next Tuesday on Smackdown Live, in Cleveland.

Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds on Styles.

The show ends here.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Another great show tonight, beginning to end, everything had a purpose, and they are setting up No Mercy fantastic.

Be sure to check out http://ForeverRebuilding.com, and check out this week’s Smackdown Vs Raw later this week.  Share me your thoughts about the show here.

WWE Backlash 9/11/16

Never forget 15 years ago today.  Tonight’s piece is dedicated to the ones we lost on that September day.

We are 45 minutes away from the Kick-Off show of Backlash.  Smackdown presents their first PPV since the brand split.  And our main event will be Dean Ambrose Vs AJ Styles, for the WWE World Championship.

Keep it locked here tonight.

It’s time for Backlash Kick-Off.  Live in Richmond, Virginia.  Renee Young welcome us to the show, with Booker T, Lita, and Jerry “The King” Lawler.

Tom Phillips is in the Social Media Lounge, and his guests tonight will be Heath Slater and Rhyno.

Tonight, The Miz will put his Intercontinental Title against Dolph Ziggler.

The Miz Vs Ziggler video is being shown.

Is this Ziggler’s last chance for a title?

Daniel Bryan is with Apollo Crews, trying to pump him up, giving him some advice.  He’s telling him to get loose.  Oh boy.

Baron Corbin isn’t amused by this.

He tells Daniel 2 weeks ago he beat the WWE World Champion on Smackdown Live, and he handles that by now having him appear on the show, and he’s off the Backlash PPV.  But he handles a nobody like Apollo Crews.

Apollo is free tonight, to kick his ass.  Daniel gives us our Backlash Kick-Off show, Corbin Vs Crews.

Tonight, Orton Vs Wyatt, we see video of that.

We are less than 40 minutes away from the live Backlash.

Last Tuesday, we see The Usos turning on American Alpha.

American Alpha is out of the title match, and we will have a second chance challenge, with The Usos Vs The Hype Bros, and the winner will face Slater and Rhyno.

I love this storyline here, we know American Alpha will be back.

Social Media Lounge, with Rhyno and Slater.

Rhyno is very “excited” about this match tonight.

Slater can’t lose, he won’t get his contract.  He can’t feed his kids.  He can’t get that double-wide.  He can’t build his pool.  He needs this win.

Has his kids trained him for this match?  This is hilarious.

Tonight there is a first ever Women’s 6-Pack Challenge match to determine the new Smackdown Women’s Championship.

Alexa Bliss joins the panel.

Booker T questions her experience in the ring, and Alexa believes she has this opportunity, and who is going to beat her?

Alexa is dressed like Harley Quinn.

Match time, Mauro Ranallo, David Otunga, and JBL welcome us to the show.

Apollo Crews Vs Baron Corbin is now.

End of Days, Corbin silences Crews.  A good match to start the show tonight.

Renee Young is talking Jaeger Eaton, host of Nickelodeon’s new show.

Video set up for AJ Styles Vs Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Title, tonight.

Is this AJ’s night?

WWE is starting a message saying we will never forget about the events of 9/11.

Backlash is starting now.

We are live in Richmond, Virginia, we welcome you to Backlash.

HERE COMES THE MONEY!!  HERE COMES THE MONEY!!

Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan kicks off the PPV.

Welcome to Smackdown Live, presents Backlash.

Shane wants to thank all of us making Smackdown Live a success.  We are responsible for the ratings to soar, we are responsible for social media blowing up, and for new superstars to get their opportunity.

Daniel tells us we will have 2 title defense.  Intercontinental Title, and WWE World Title.  But we will also crown first Smackdown Tag Team Champions, and a new Women’s Smackdown Champion.

6-Pack Challenge kicks off the show.

Alexa Bliss is eliminated after Natalya and Naomi hit a Liger Powerbomb.

Excellent start to the show.

Naomi is eliminated after a Sharpshooter by Nattie.

4 women are left.

Nattie is eliminated by a Northern Lights Backbreaker by Nikki Bella.

Carmella rolls up Nikki, and eliminates her.

It’s now between Carmella and Becky Lynch.

Becky Lynch became the first Smackdown Women’s Champion, making Carmella tap out to the Disarmer.

All 6 women fought hard for this, and what a moment for Becky.

Charly Caruso asks Becky how she is feeling right now.  Becky thanks the fans for cheering for her for all of these years.  “Becky Balboa baby, we did it.  We did it”.

In 2 weeks, Raw presents Clash of Champions.

The Miz comes in Jagger Eaton’s dressing room.  He took Miz’s locker room.  Jagger asks Miz to be on his show, unless they can get John Cena instead.

Bray Wyatt attacks Randy Orton’s leg, will Randy be available tonight?

Second Chance Tag Match is set now.  Winner moves on to face Slater and Rhyno later tonight.

The Usos Vs The Hype Bros is now.

The Usos win with a leg cramp, making Zack tap out.

I love this new look by The Usos, and I can see them winning Tag Titles later tonight.

Renee Young is with Slater and Rhyno.  Slater is ready for The Usos.  He walks off, but tells Rhyno his stomach is upset, everything is on the line.  And Beulah made this crab dip that hit the spot.

But they are live, and Heath has to go.

Later tonight, The Usos Vs Slater and Rhyno to determine the first Smackdown Tag Team Champions.

The Miz Vs Ziggler for the IC Title is now.

Before the match, Miz wants to renegotiate his Smackdown contract, and after his match, things will get trickier.  So Daniel, Miz will do something he can’t do anymore, wrestle.

With some help from hair spray Maryse used on Dolph, Miz won the match with a Skull Crushing Finale.

These two can wrestle anytime.

The Kick-Off panel discuss what we have seen so far.

Earlier tonight in the Kick-Off match, we had Baron Corbin defeat Apollo Crews.

Bray Wyatt comes out now.

Bray wants Charles Robinson to count out Orton.

Greg Hamilton informs us Randy Orton cannot compete tonight, so Charles must count to 10, so he wins by forfeit.

The winner, by forfeit….Bray Wyatt.

However, Bray Wyatt will be competing in a no holds barred match against this man….

Kane.

Kane wins the match, with some help from Randy Orton, who came out with a RKO.  Kane wins with a Chokeslam.

AJ Styles approaches 2 “independent” wrestlers in the back.  Telling them they will never amount to greatness.  But they can tell their kids they were here when the new “Face That Runs This Place” became the new WWE World Champion.

WWE No Mercy is set for Sunday, October 9th.

Smackdown Tag Team Title match is up now, The Usos Vs Slater and Rhyno.

SLATER AND RHYNO WIN!!  SLATER AND RHYNO WIN!!  SLATER AND RHYNO WIN!!

Rhyno helps Slater by giving Jimmy a Gore, and Heath Slater has a job, and Tag Titles.

Heath and Rhyno get to talk about their reactions to being Smackdown’s first Tag Team Champions.

Slater was great in this, Yo Beulah, they are getting a Double-Wide.

Another Chicken Little commercial, with Ziggler and The Miz.  But they already faced each other in the ring.

It’s now Styles Vs Ambrose, our main event, and it’s for the WWE World Title.

AJ Styles just had his career defining moment, when he pinned Ambrose, after a ref bump.  AJ kicked Dean in the balls, and hit a Styles Clash for the win.

My goodness, this match had everything we needed.

The show ends here with Styles celebrating his win.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Going into the PPV, there was a report Orton hadn’t been cleared.  I always try to avoid websites the night of the PPVs, so I can be surprised.  They did what they had to do, but I felt Bray should have won that match.

And while they only had 3 weeks of build-up, I felt like the men and women did a fantastic job to make this a fun show.

It was built around Styles Vs Ambrose, and this was a fantastic match, and it ended the show on the right foot.

Now Raw has 5 weeks to build their PPV in 2 weeks, so I expect that show to try to top tonight’s.  But with Styles winning the big title, not sure if they can top it.

What are your thoughts?  Send them to me here.

WWE Smackdown Live 8/30/16…The Face That Runs This Place is in Action

We kick the show off with footage from last Tuesday night on “Talking Smack” with Daniel Bryan and The Miz.

This was awesome.

We day 148 of the Intercontinental World Tour, with The Miz.

Shane and Daniel are watching at a monitor.  Shane tells Daniel he owes The Miz an apology, because he got into The Miz’s face, and he can’t provoke talent like this.

Daniel said he won’t be so honest next time, but he finds it ironic coming from the man who has a beef with Brock Lesnar.

We are off and running.

The Miz and Maryse comes to the ring to kick the show off.

Now do I have your attention?  Don’t you dare boo him, when he is being held down by both his General Manager and his commissioner, they are going to boo him?

It took 148 days to get his attention for an IC Title that used to be prestigious, and was held by failures.  But it will rise again, because of The Miz, our Intercontinental Champion.  But he has a “soft” style, he doesn’t like to get hit.  Maybe that is because he is smarter, and he isn’t a loser, who likes to get hit.

And Daniel Bryan wants to apologize to him?  But you people don’t see the big picture.  We don’t see what is going on back there.  Who do they call to be a spokesman?  Miz, then go do a media appearance?  Miz, then go do a movie?  Miz, then win the IC Title and play a chicken?  Miz.

He does it all, day in, and day out.  He never gets injured, but we all seem to think he is unworthy, and he didn’t spend his first 12 years working at a bingo hall at DFW.  But then they sit and cheer people who get opportunity after opportunity after opportunity, yet they fail.  So what does make all of us?  It makes us cowards.  And you know why we are all cowards?

Here comes Dolph Ziggler.

Miz is out here making great points.  He does it all, the red carpets, the movies, the commercials.  But there is a reason why these guys won’t get behind him, because they see right through Miz.

WWE stars, we live for this, we breathe for this.  We go above and beyond to be the best, but Miz just wants to be famous.  That is why nobody will ever believe in Miz.  That is why Daniel Bryan called him a coward, we all see you through this facade.  All you want to do is walk through a red carpet, hold your title, and be famous.  Every week, he has a chance to prove he is not soft, and he isn’t a coward.  Yet you don’t.  You want to talk about opportunities?  You want to talk about proving to people, prove to Daniel Bryan, prove to your wife, prove to yourself.  You want to prove you are not a coward?  Fight Ziggler right now.  No title, just the two of them fighting.  Prove to himself he can do it.  Miz and Ziggler….right now.

Miz is ready to fight, but he steps out of the ring.  Takes his jacket off, up to the apron, and off he goes.

I guess Daniel Bryan was right, the crowd was right, Miz is nothing but a soft, safe coward.

Miz goes right back after Ziggler, but Maryse stops him.

A great way to start the show.

Tonight, it’s Dean Ambrose Vs Baron Corbin.  And tonight, Bray Wyatt’s Sermon for the Serpent.  Bray Wyatt has a message for “The Viper”.

But next, Tag Team Tournament continues.  The Hype Bros Vs The Vaudevillains.

The Hype Bros pick up the win with a Hype Ryder.  Not a fan of Mojo Rawley myself, but this is the perfect spot for him.

They move on to Semi-Finals of Tag Tournament.

1 down, 2 to go.  There are great teams, but the hype train has left the tracks.  They have their sights set on Smackdown Tag Titles.

They will face the winners of the winner between Slater and Rhyno Vs The Headbangers.

AJ Styles greets everyone, he runs into the guy he doesn’t know.  It’s Apollo Crews, as in C-R-E-W-S.

But dude, this isn’t a spelling test, have a good one.

Here comes “The Face That Runs This Place”, AJ Styles.

Smakcdown Live, The Phenomenal One is here.  The face that runs this place is here.  And the face that beat John Cena, and the face that will beat Dean Ambrose.  Dean Ambrose will see this face in his nightmares.  Dean Ambrose will see this face lying down, as he pins him to become the new WWE World Champion.

Here comes the man AJ Styles doesn’t know.  Apollo informs AJ he went to the back, and he got the match.  Crews Vs Styles, tonight.  And that match is right now.

A good, short match here that ended with a Phenomenal Forearm, pinning Crews.

Tonight, Ambrose Vs Corbin is our main event.

Mauro Ranallo, David Otunga, and JBL join us.  Renee Young traveled to Heath Slater’s home for an exclusive interview.

Rhyno is there, as is his wife, Beulah.

Franks, crackers, and cheese for o’ dours.  Beautiful.

Rhyno is just eating the crackers, hilarious.

Heath and his wife went out for a second, and Rhyno looked at Renee, with a “How ya doin'” look.

Tonight, Slater and Rhyno will face The Headbangers in the first round of Tag Team Tournament, but next, Bray Wyatt has a message for Randy Orton.

Fireflies are out, and here comes “The Eater of Words” Bray Wyatt.

He doesn’t fear snakes.  He doesn’t fear monsters, he fears no man.  Because Bray is FEAR.  And when he thinks of the legend of Randy Orton, he doesn’t think of him as a mythical serpent.  He thinks of him as just another man.  A man who believes he has venom running through his veins, and that excites Bray.  You’re sick Randy, but that is what Bray likes about him.  Now what Brock Lesnar did to Orton was interesting.  He exposed Randy of his flaws.  He went into that fight as a man without fear, but he sees him now as a flawed man.  Bray eradicates the infected, and if he really has voices in Randy’s head, then he prays those voices are telling Randy to run.  Run Randy, run.

Enter Randy Orton.

Actually Bray, the voices in his head, the voices in his head are asking him who the hell does this man think he is.  Bray thinks he is damaged because he has staples in his head?  He’s been damaged for a long time, which makes him go.  So from one damaged man, to another.  Bray has his attention.

There you are, that is the Randy Orton he was hoping for.  The predator he wanted to see.  He shows off his scars, and is still wanting to fight.  But Randy, you are no longer the Predator that you once were.  He is damaged, he is weak.  Bray is the Predator now.  And he should know better than anyone, what does a predator do best?  He kills, and at Backlash, he will cut the head off the serpent, and hold the head like a trophy.

Randy knows about scars.  Does Bray think he know about his scars?  He knows Cactus Jack dropped his head in a bag of thumbtacks.  He knows the scars he got at Hell in a Cell when faced The Undertaker.  But those scars Bray shouldn’t worry about them, he needs to be focused on the eyes of those demons.  Randy even half-ass respect Bray, because he knows he has his demons too.  So if he wants Orton at Backlash?  You’re on.  But fear?  He’s not afraid of kicking Bray’s ass, right now.

The lights go out, and we have a tag team match with the women.  Alexa Bliss and Nattie Vs Naomi and Becky Lynch, next.

Nikki Bella joins the commentary table as we are set with the women’s tag match.

Carmella attacks Nikki Bella from behind, and during the distraction, Alexa rolls up Becky, and win the match.

The return of The Headbangers is coming up next.  Tag Team Tournament continues, with Slater and Rhyno Vs Headbangers.

New music for The Headbangers.

Great music for Slater.

Slater and Rhyno win when a bloody Rhyno gored Thrasher.

Slater and Rhyno will face The Hype Bros in the Semi-Finals.

Ambrose Vs Corbin is next.

AJ Styles joins the commentating team to watch this match.

Daley “The Milkman” Millman is talking in the ring.  He is licensed to compete, but nobody wants to compete.  But he isn’t leaving here until someone comes to the ring and compete.

He takes his shirt, his tie off, and his pants.  He is wearing tiny whites.

Kane answers the call, and he chokeslams.

Such a stupid segment, but Kane leaves, as Baron Corbin comes in.  Future feud?

Our main event, Ambrose Vs Corbin is now.

Ambrose loses, when AJ kicks at Corbin’s head, and all three men battle.  But the show ends when Ambrose catches AJ right by the ropes, and AJ is feeling it in his lower area, Dean has some fun with that.

The show ends with Ambrose celebrating the WWE World Title.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Another good episode here, and it was highlighted by The Miz and Dolph Ziggler’s promo to kick the show off.  This could be a way to make The Miz into a bigger star.  He has done some great things with Maryse by his side, and that makes him complete.

I thought too Orton and Bray Wyatt was a good promo, and looking forward to their match at Backlash.

I love the trek Heath Slater is going, just keep it going.  I want to see how far he can go, the fans certainly love him, and the writing for him has been very good.

Where we go from here, who knows.

What did you think of the show?  Sound off, and be on the look out of my latest piece over at ForeverRebuilding.com under the Ringside Seats.  I will be giving my weekly Smackdown Vs Raw piece.

WWE Smackdown Live 8/23/16…Summerslam After Burn

We kick the show off with some of the Smackdown wrestlers in the back, and we see AJ Styles coming up, and brag about his win over John Cena at Smackdown.  He sees a distraught Dolph Ziggler.  AJ says he doesn’t hang out with losers, and Ziggler fights AJ back, and both men need some help.

We start Smackdown Live in Mohegan Arena, Mauro Ranallo, David Otunga, and JBL welcome us to the show.

Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan welcome us to the show, with the new Smackdown Women’s Title, and the Smackdown Tag Team Championships.  The name, and look of the titles are much, MUCH better than the Universal Title.

At Backlash, we will have a 6-woman 6-Pack Challenge.  The winner is the new Smackdown Women’s Champion.

Also, we will have a tag team tournament that will culminate at Backlash, but Heath Slater interrupts.

Heath was this close of getting Smackdown contract the last two weeks, only to have it pushed back.  He can win the Tag Tournament.  He tells Shane that he will pick any Smackdown Superstar in the back, and they will win.

Daniel Bryan says he can do that, and Shane ups the ante.  Slater has to win the entire tournament, in order to receive a Smackdown contract.

Heath will reveal that partner tonight.

It won’t be AJ Styles, he comes out and demands proper respect.  But Ziggler attacks him from behind, and both men fight, and we need order, so we go to a commercial break.

Becky Lynch Vs Alexa Bliss kicks things off here.

Becky wins the match by a Disarmer, we have Naomi and Natalya watching the match in commentary.

Heath Slater is trying to find a tag team partner.

Slater finds The Miz, but Miz is talking to Spielberg, and ignores Slater.

Tag Team tournament begins, next.

It’s The Usos Vs The Ascension, now.

The Usos win with the Samoan Splash, moving on to the Tag Team Tournament.

Tonight, Randy Orton is live.

AJ Styles is heading to the ring.

AJ has John Cena’s armband.

AJ Styles chants, and AJ sees a lot of angry faces out here, and he sees angry faces in the back, like Dolph Ziggler.

He did exactly what he said he was going to do….BEAT UP JOHN CENA!!!  Then, he beat him at Summerslam.

This goes out to the C-Nation, don’t worry, they don’t have to be John Cena fans anymore, just be AJ Styles fans.  Because he is the face that runs this place, and he should be the number one contender to the WWE World Championship.

Here comes Ziggler, wanting some more of Styles.

Daniel Bryan comes out, and will not allow the two of them to run this show.  Daniel agrees, AJ beat John Cena, he deserves to be the Number One Contender to the WWE World Title.  And Ziggler, he lost, but he was this close of being WWE World Champion.  But it seems like you two want to fight.  And these people want to see them fight.

So let’s make the match, and if AJ wins, he goes on to Backlash to face Dean Ambrose for WWE World Championship.  And if Ziggler wins, he gets added to a Triple Threat World Title match.

Nikki Bella is next.

Curt Hawkins is coming back to WWE.

Its Carmella Vs Nikki Bella.

Renee Young interviews Nikki Bella, but Carmella turns on Nikki.

The match never takes place, Carmella just made a statement, hitting the Bella Bomb, on Nikki.  She even calls Nikki a loser, like Nikki used to do.

Randy Orton is next.

Orton is mocking Lesnar as he comes to the ring.  He received 10 stitches after the match this Sunday.

Randy chants going on here.

Here Randy is, he shows us the 10 staples, and was in one hell of a fight against Brock Lesnar this past Sunday at Summerslam.  He knew the fight he was in for, but he would rather go into a gurney than have the way it ended.  Shane McMahon thought he was doing things the right way, and maybe on paper, he was.  But he and Lesnar will cross paths again.

Enter Bray Wyatt.

Bray just sits down at his chair.

How is your head Randy?  He saw what Brock did to you, and he saw the look in the eyes change, looking all blank.  But it’s something to have your head busted open, and realize you’re just a man.  You are a great man, but still, just a man.  A man who hurts, a man who suffers, a man who dies.  But Bray isn’t just a man, he is a GOD.

And a god, Randy can’t die.  But don’t worry, you will find all about it, in time.

The lights go out, comes back on, and he disappears.

Charly Caruso is with Shane, he says Brock will have repercussions.  And Stephanie agreed, but she only suspended him for $500, that is not taking it seriously.  But do you think that is fair?  Here is a soundbite, this is far from over.

Ziggler Vs Styles tonight, and next….American Alpha Vs Breezango.

Heath Slater is trying to recruit Arn Anderson.

He denies the offer, that was Heath’s last hope.  Rhyno agrees to be Heath’s partner.

Breezango Vs American Alpha is now.

American Alpha picks up the win with Grand Amplitude.  Such a good match here between the two teams.  American Alpha now advance to Semi-Finals of Tag Team Tournament.

Cathy Caruso wants to hear thoughts from Dean Ambrose, and he just found out.  He was in the casino.  He found out WWE World Championship Number One Contender is on the line, so he thought he would check it out.

That match is next.

Here comes The WWE World Champion, Dean Ambrose to watch AJ Styles Vs Dolph Ziggler.

AJ wins the match with Styles Clash.

An incredible main event, and Backlash main event is set, with AJ Styles Vs Dolph Ziggler.

AJ tells Ambrose he wants that belt, and takes Dean’s headset off.

2 weeks away from Backlash, the show ends here.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

A very fun show tonight that sets WWE Backlash in motion.  Styles Vs Ambrose will be a good match, and can we have a new champion?

Heath Slater and Rhyno, while I love American Alpha, I’d like to see these two win.  This storyline of can Slater get a contract is fun to see, but who will they face next week?

Another better show overall than Raw.

Send me your thoughts to the show.  And also check out ForeverReubuilding.com to see my piece in Ringside Seats.  Just click on the link here, or go to that.

WWE Monday Night Raw 9/21/15…The Fallout From Night Of Champions

Tonight, Sting makes an announcement.  We also will see a John Cena US Open Challenge, and a big 6-man tag match.

Raw is now.

We kick the show off with The Wyatt Family.

The Fireflies are out in Laredo, Texas.

JBL, Michael Cole, and Byron Saxton welcome us to the show.

Roman Reigns, he tried to warn him with his words, but apparently he didn’t speak loudly enough.  They tried to warn him with actions, but they didn’t hit hard enough.  Last night, he reached his hands out to Mt. Olympus, and he tried to grab him by the throat.  But he told us they would all fall down, but he is not a liar.

Here comes Reigns.

Reigns is all by himself.

It’s not just about Roman Reigns, it’s Reigns and Bray Wyatt.  It started here, and he says let’s finish it here.  Send the big’uns to the swamp, and we’ll see who survives Lareda tonight.

Bray has nothing prove, and Reigns tells him he’s too scared to go one on one with him?  They don’t need a match, not even a referee.  Just a fight.

Bray sends the troops, and we get our fight.

But Strowman gets involved, and here comes Dean Ambrose.

The numbers game catches up, and here comes Randy Orton, coming to himself some.

They are building Strowman like a beast here.  He gets jumped by Ambrose, dropkicked by Orton, Superman punched by Reigns, and he is still standing outside of the ring.

Seth Rollins lost his United States Title, but survived in his WWE World Title defense.

Kane returns and has the last laugh.

Seth Rollins is backstage, about to go in The Authority’s locker room, and he meets up with Kane instead.

Kane is still the Director of Operations, and he has recuperated since Brock Lesnar took him out.  He is denying that he had anything to do with last night.

Kane has given Rollins his US Title rematch with John Cena, tonight.

The Astro Alliance are in the ring.  Stardust and The Ascension.

Stardust and The Ascension Vs Neville and Lucha Dragons, now.

Lucha Dragons and Neville pick up the win, Klaistro getting the pin fall.

Corporate Kane is back in charge, and our main event is John Cena Vs Seth Rollins, for the United States Title.

We come back, and see Seth Rollins run into The Authority.

He can’t believe they reinstated Kane as Director of Operations.  They deny they had anything to do with it.  Rollins has a chance to get back his United States Championship, so he needs to focus on that.  They will worry about Kane.

Last night, Kevin Owens defeated Ryback to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

Ryback is ready for action, next.

Ryback is facing Bo Dallas.  Kevin Owens joins us at commentary, with the IC Title around him.

Bo congratulates Kevin for being the new IC Champion.  Ryback didn’t lose the title because he BOlieved.  He lost because he thought he was better than Kevin Owens, and he never will be.  BOlieve.

Shellshock, match is done.  Owens attacks Ryback.  But Ryback fights back, and Owens runs off with the title.

Up next, Charlotte’s Diva Championship Celebration.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

The 16-time World Champion, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair is here.

Flair is a proud father.  He also had fun in Laredo, Texas before.  But there are times in a man’s life that happens that are so special.

The fans chant thank you Flair.

The first time you step in that curtain, or the first time you step on apron, first time you get in the ring, or win championships.  The first time you fall in love, get married once, twice, three times.  But make no mistake about it, the proudest memory of his wrestling career was when his little girl won her first championship.

She worked, she sweat, she bled, she paid the price, and she beat a great champion, in Nikki Bella.  So Flair gives us the new Divas Champion, Charlotte.

Charlotte comes out with Paige and Becky Lynch.

Father and daughter give us a WOOOOO.

Dad, since she was a little girl, she wanted to be like Ric.  She always thought he was the best, and if she can make him half as proud of her as he has with her, then she has done a good job of being her daughter.

PCB, since the Diva Revolution started, teaming up with the two of them every night has been a dream of hers.  She has always wanted to be Divas champion, and she now has 2 best friends.

She thanks Becky for reminding her to live her life, and not take everything so seriously.

Paige, they started in NXT together, and she followed her, because she wanted to be with her.

Paige now talks, and she reminds us that she started this Revolution.  Charlotte acts like she is a Hall of Famer, but she’s not.  Charlotte won the Divas Title, big deal.  She won the Divas Title on her first night.

But Brie is going to take back her Divas Title, and take over again, because there never was a Divas Revolution.  Becky is the least relevant of the group, she will never be Divas Champion.  Team B.A.D. will continue to hold their ground as placements.  Charlotte is nothing but a placeholder.  We all know why the Bellas have their spots.

And where is Nattie?  Mrs. Hart?  And the only reason Charlotte is even here is because of her old man.

Enter Team Bellas.

She calls Paige un-classy, and she could never handle being the Divas Champion, but she held on to it for a year.  But Charlotte is going to lose to her sister, and then hand over the Divas Championship, when Nikki revokes her rematch clause.

Charlotte Vs Brie is now.

Brie wins with a Figure Eight.

Tonight, United States Championship is on the line, Seth Rollins Vs John Cena.

Sheamus Vs Mark Henry is now.

Sheamus wins with 2 Brogue Kicks.

Sheamus tells us we can say what we want, but refer him as the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion.  It’s going to happen, just a matter of time.

6-man tag match tonight, The New Day and Rusev Vs Dolph Ziggler and The Dudley Boyz.

The Authority run into Corporate Kane.

Kane wanted to make an impact his first night back.  HHH reminds Kane he just showed up last night.  What is HHH talking about?

Stephanie tells him that if he wants to get back with Seth Rollins, fine but don’t insult their intelligence.

Kane just wants to come back, and do what is best for business.  Stephanie is fine with that, they can get on the same page, just give it back.

Kane gives her a high-five, give her back his mask.

My gosh, it’s gone.  The last time he had it, he gave it to Stephanie and if she lost it, then they have a big problem.  But he can help them find it.

Backstage, Paige is confronted by Natalya.

She understands Paige is frustrated by not getting Diva Title shots, but that was Charlotte’s moment, and she ruined it for her.  But she has a match with Naomi and the only person holding back Paige is herself.

Oh glorious, New Day and Rusev Vs Ziggler and Dudleys.

Xavier has the remains of a table from last night.

They had to remind this piece of wood from his buttocks.

How many people may suffer, Kofi asks before we say enough is enough.

The Dudleys are a menace to society and they must be stopped.

Big E. suggests we build a wall around Dudleyville.  A great wall, a beautiful wall.  A wall that can protect us.  A wall that can protect us from our tables.

Kofi tells us together, we can make everything better.  Together, we can save the tables.

Rusev comes out.

The Russian flag is back.  Putin is proud.

Rusev and New Day win, when Ziggler gives Xavier a Superkick, then Rusev hits one for good measure, and wins.

A week from Saturday, Dudley Boyz face New Day for Tag Team Titles, on WWE Network.

Earlier tonight, Seth Rollins runs into Corporate Kane.

Tonight, Cena Vs Rollins, for the United States Title.

Naomi wins with her rear view, after Sasha and Tamina distract her a bit.

The Authority are beside themselves when Seth comes to them.

He wants to know what the plan is.  There is no plan.  Kane is back to getting into his corporate duties.

Seth isn’t buying it.

HHH tells Rollins they will handle Kane, and he advises Seth to handle John Cena.

Big Show goes one on one with Cesaro.

A week from Saturday, Big Show faces Lesnar at MSG.

Big Show wins with a KO Punch.

Biggest reason he got the win was because of his match with Brock in 12 days.

Big Show is on the mic.  Boo him all we want, this is a message for Brock Lesnar.  October 3rd, at Madison Square Garden, those two will face each other.  He is the greatest giant that has ever been seen.  Survivor Series 2002, Brock Lesnar was “The Next Big Thing”, and can’t be beat.  But Big Show did that.  He knows that he can’t stand Brock.

Suplex City chants, and nobody can take his ass to Suplex City.

Brock thinks he can join the Go To Hell Tour with an easy victory over Big Show?  Show has been in this business too long to be taken for granted.  Brock has this fist waiting for him.

Next, Cena Vs Rollins.

This Thursday night on Smackdown, Ryback and Ziggler Vs Rusev and Kevin Owens.

Earlier tonight, we see The Wyatts continue their feud with The Brothers Shield, and Orton comes back.

The Wyatts interrupt.

Luke Harper listens to voices too, HIS voice.  Bray Wyatt tells Luke to remember his mistakes, I guess Orton does not.

Strowman caught a snake once, killed it, and drank its blood.

Bray approves of this, and reminds us they all fall down, someday.

Main event time, Cena Vs Rollins.

Cena wins with an AA, pulling off a big victory, with Cena leaving the ring, and heading to the back.

Corporate Kane shows up on the Titantron, tells Seth that in order to assure he is the greatest WWE World Champion he possibly can be, there will be many challenges, some that he may not even see coming.

We see the flames, and hear Kane’s music, but Demon Kane shows up from hell…underneath the ring.  He finally grabs Seth’s legs, and sends him into hell, as we end the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

No Sting, and no Chris Jericho, who we were led to believe both would appear tonight, but I liked this show anyway.

Seth Rollins once again proved that he is one of the best in-ring performers, and he bumps for anyone, like HBK used to do, back in the day.

This truly is Seth’s moment now, and it’s been his year.

I don’t care about Paige’s heel turn, because we have seen it many times.  I still think The Four Horsewomen, (Charlotte, Becky, Sasha, and Baylee) should have come out from the seats and take control of the Divas division.  So we see what we see.  We can only find out where we go from here, but good to see Nattie on TV again.

They are building the October 3rd show, which is great.  I expect to see Heyman next week.

Overall, a decent show.  What was your thoughts?  Let me know.
