WWE Monday Night Raw 10/17/16…GOOOOLLLDBERG!!!

WWE Monday Night Raw, Live From Denver, Colorado

Monday, October 17th, 2016

Commentators:  Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves

Video:  Goldberg Returns Tonight!!

Tonight:  Lita’s Exclusive Interview with Charlotte and Sasha Banks.

Segment Number One:  Promo with Jeri-KO, and Seth Rollins

Y2J chants get started, but Kevin has something to say.  At this point, there is no denying anymore, Mick Foley has a vendetta against him.  Why else would he shorten his carrer defending his WWE Universal Championship against a man who doesn’t deserve a title shot.  Jericho tells us to be quiet, and he agrees that Foley has a vendetta against both men.  Being in a Hell in a Cell match is the most barbaric, destructive match in WWE history.  And to prove that Owens is in the same match that ended Foley’s career proves he is a stupid idiot.  Owens has more brain cells than Mick Foley does.  He is a thinking man’s champion, and will make sure he continues his career, and proving that he is a smarter man than Seth Rollins.  And after its said and done, it will still be The Kevin Owens Show for years to come.

Chris believes it should be Chris and Kevin show, and Chris should have been put in this match.  He can beat Seth Rollins, and look at the list of legends Chris has beaten.  Shawn Michaels to Rey Mysterio.  He beat Stone Cold and The Rock on the same night.  He beat The Undertaker for the World Title in this ring.  You can surely think he can beat Seth Rollins.  And only reason why he isn’t is because of that horrible referee.  HE’S ON THE LIST!!  At Hell in a Cell, Seth Rollins will have a swan song.  Because he has already replaced him as “The Man”, and in two weeks, Owens will retire Rollins.

And on cue, here is Rollins.  You know Chris, if you want to put something on that list, put that scarf on there.  How about those weird tattoos, goofy looking mustache, and sparkle crotch.  Chris is not sparkle crotch.  Seth just been put on the list.  If he should put something on there, he needs to put his friendship with Kevin Owens.  After all, he was pedigreed twice in a row in front of Kevin.  Chris and Kevin are still very good friends, and have talked about it last few weeks.  One of them needs to stay strong.  So, Owens stays strong, and Chris stays weak?  Chris is a 6-time World Heavyweight Champion, he is the best in the world at what he does.  You want to say why it says GOAT on his trunks?  It should say sprinkle crouch.  Jericho can beat Rollins any day of the week, and Seth thinks now is the time to do it.  But where is Kevin going to be at?  Will he just watch Chris get pedigreed again?  Chris tells us Kevin is leaving.  Owens doesn’t agree with this, and Chris tells him he needs to leave.  He knows all of the tricks, and it doesn’t change Owens is his best friend.  But he has to show the world, and this idiot who he is.  Chris Jericho, dammit.

Match Number 1:  Seth Rollins Vs Chris Jericho

Great match between the two, and we saw Owens come back out.  Jericho did have the Walls on Rollins, but Owens grabbed the ropes away from Rollins, the ref saw it, made Chris break it up.  Pedigree, pins Jericho.

Winner:  Seth Rollins (Via Pinfall)

Video:  Goldberg’s WCW debut

Tonight:  Goldberg Returns

Segment Number 3:  Lita’s interview with Charlotte

Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, HHH, and Mick Foley.  These are legends first appeared inside Hell in a Cell.  How do they feel about being the first two women to go inside Hell in a Cell.  She is a winner, always has been.  Did Charlotte take advantage of Sasha Banks at Summerslam?  Charlotte has had 12 straight PPV wins, and she is durable.  Forbes Magazine has called her the best Women’s Wrestler, she may even be the best performer, period.  Charlotte is genetically superior, it is in her blood.  Sasha needs the WWE Universe, she does not.  Sasha needs her hometown fans, she may not be 100%.  But Charlotte will, she has proven that.  At Hell in a Cell, she will prove she is better than Sasha.  Nobody will stop her.

Tonight:  Lita talks with Sasha

Match Number 2:  The Golden Truth and Mark Henry Vs The Shining Stars and Titus O’ Neil

World’s Strongest Slam, Mark Henry takes care of Titus O’ Neil, while The Shining Stars watch this.

Winners:  The Golden Truth and Mark Henry.

Next:  Big E Vs Sheamus

Segment Number 5:  Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens backstage

Jericho is upset Owens came down to the ring, he did it as a friend.  Foley wants to add some tension, so he can have his back.  Jericho told Owens not to come down, you stu….Owens tells Chris not to call him a stupid idiot, he is not just an idiot.  He is the WWE Universal Champion.  Chris is a 6-time World Champion….Stephanie McMahon interrupts them, and says they need to stay focused for Hell in a Cell.  Her brother made that challenge at Survivor Series, and she needs her two generals to get along.

Match Number 3:  Big E Vs Sheamus

Cesaro is on Facebook Live, Sheamus tells Cesaro, and the world he will use the Brogue Kick, but is rolled up by Big E. for the win.  These two teams face off in 13 days at Hell in a Cell.

Winner:  Big E. (Via Pinfall)

Video:  Goldberg Vs Hollywood Hogan

Tonight:  Goldberg Returns

Earlier Tonight:  Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel

Match Number 4:  Bo Dallas Vs Neville

These two headlined the very first NXT special on WWE Network, and Bo picks up the win rolling the dice.  Curtis Axel BOlieves, but Bo turned on Curtis.

Winner:  Bo Dallas (Via Pinfall)

Next:  Dana Brooke Vs Bayley

Match Number 5:  Dana Brooke Vs Bayley

The story of this match was Dana physically punishing Bayley, and focusing on her head.  She banged Bayley’s head on the ring apron, and picks up the win.

Winner:  Dana Brooke (Via Pinfall)

Segment Number 9:  Paul Heyman

Paul is live, via satellite at WWE Studios.  Cole asked Heyman if he believes Goldberg will accept Brock’s challenge, later tonight.  Heyman knows that Goldberg will fly out here, to accept the challenge.  But Bill, Brock doesn’t even think about you anymore.  It’s a video game, Bill.  So Heyman suggests Bill just says no.  Because if he does say yes, it will piss Brock off.  Goldberg beat him 12 years ago, and Goldberg thinks he can do it again.  The WWE Universe will chant Goldberg’s name, and we hear Goldberg chants.  Paul says that will piss off Brock too.  He will be victimized, and beat down, not be the hero in the video game you think, by Brock Lesnar.

Tonight:  Lana and Rusev has a message for Reigns

Match Number 6:  Braun Strowman Vs The Mile High Trio

I love that name Corey Graves used, so we will go with it.  A 3-on-1 Handicap match, with Braun winning with a reverse Chokeslam.  Braun demands more competition, he is going to the back and take matters into his own hand.  Here comes Sami Zayn.  Braun shoves Sami outside of the ring.  Sami wants some.

Next:  Rusev and Lana

Segment Number 11:  Sami Zayn

Charly Caruso has a moment with Sami.  Why did he challenge Braun?  Because nobody else will.

Segment Number 12:  Lana and Rusev

Rusev trimmed his beard a bit.  In 13 days time, he has an opportunity to crush Roman Reigns’ dreams, shut up with your USA Chants.  Rusev wants Lana to speak.  Her husband is not just the greatest United States Champion of all time, but as his wife, she knows he is an incredible family man, unlike us weak Americans.  Roman Reigns wants to talk about being a family man, good for you.  We know you have 9 Samoans, sitting around campfires, dipping their chicken with mayonnaise, and following everything that he does.  They put coconuts on their head, they say stupid things.  His family is civilized.  Let’s meet The Rusevs.

Video:  The Rusevs

Mama Rusev is a world-class rowing champion.  She is a strong, beautiful woman.  Lana is proud to call her Mother-in-Law.  Don’t boo Mama Rusev.  Now, its Papa Rusev.  He served in the military, and was a wrestling champion.  Now it’s brother Rusev, the best chef in all of Bulgaria.  Now it’s Grandma Rusev, who he calls Babucha.  And we even have his family dog Miguenta, who has won dog shows all over the world.  We have cousins, who play football.

Roman Reigns comes out.  Rusev was right about one thing, Roman does have a big family, but not bloodline, he’s talking about The Roman Empire.  He doesn’t look like his handsome father, he looks like the dog.  Rusev says he can disrespect anyone from his family, don’t disrespect him.  Who is he going to call?  Because in 13 days, they will be locked inside Hell in a Cell, and the only call he will make is 911.  Lana slaps him, and Rusev kicks Reigns.  Reigns takes care of Reigns, and crushes him on top of steel steps, and now Accolade on Reigns.

Video:  Goldberg Vs The Rock in 2003

Tonight:  Goldberg Returns

Video:  Emmalution is coming to WWE Raw

Match Number 7:  Karl Anderson Vs Big Cass

Big Cass wins in quick fashion, hitting Sidewalk Slam, picking up the win.  How ya doin’?

Winner:  Big Cass (Via Pinfall)

Segment Number 14:

Brian Kendrick has a 6-man tag match with Drew Gulak and Tony Nese.  T.J. Perkins doubt this was legit.  Kendrick says he will do whatever it takes to survive.  Cedrick Alexander and Rich Swann has T.J.’s back,  6-man tag match is next.

Segment Number 15:  Sasha Banks

She’s been ready, they started together in NXT.  And from NXT to now, they are making history, and she does have respect for her.  But she will show she is the best.  This is real, 13 days, first two women inside Hell in a Cell.  Her back is doing well, she proved she is the woman’s champion.  Is she afraid?  Sasha knows what she got herself.  But she is trying to prepare herself for this night, and in 2 weeks, she will be making history.

Video:  Goldberg Vs HHH

Tonight:  Goldberg Returns

Next:  Cruiserweight action.

Match Number 8:  The Brian Kendrick, Drew Gulak, and Tony Nese Vs T.J. Perkins (WWE Cruiserweight Champion), Cedrick Alexander, and Rich Swann

Brian made Rick tap out to Captain’s Hook, picking up the win.

Winners:  The Bryan Kendrick, Drew Gulak, and Tony Nese, (Via Submission)

Segment Number 17:  Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley

Hell in a Cell is shaping up to be a good show, but what about next week?  Mick offers a triple threat main event if Seth Rollins Vs Chris Jericho Vs Kevin Owens.

Videos:  From last two weeks.

Segment Number 18:  Goldberg

Michael Cole introduces us to the man.  Michael leaves, Goldberg is touched by his return, thanking the fans for remembering him.  Michael walks away, and gives Goldberg the floor.  12 years ladies and gentlemen.  You never say never.  So thank you for the humble return.  What makes this so special is his wife and his son get to see him live, for the first time.  Back in January, 2K and WWE asked him to come back.  He went on a tour to Germany, met some kids, and looked at him as Goldberg, a true superhero.  He had some trouble in WWE, so he thought maybe he should just leave it alone?  But then Brock challenged him to a fight.  But he used that big, fat stooge Paul Heyman to do it for him.  So what would you do?  Maybe he has one last ass kicking left in him.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

It was great to see Goldberg back tonight, and am curious to see where we go from here.  The match takes place at Survivor Series.  Next week, Brock Lesnar returns, live in Minneapolis.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Send them to me here.

Quick Results:

WWE Monday Night Raw 9/12/16….Reigns Vs Owens

We are 13 days away from Clash of the Champions.  Tonight, the main event will be sealed, one way or the other.  Reigns Vs Owens, and if Reigns wins, he will be added to the main event, in a Triple Threat match.

Raw is in 10 minutes.

Last week on Raw….The Kevin Owens Show began, but here comes Roman Reigns.

Reigns Vs Owens, tonight.

We are live in Baltimore, Maryland.  Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves welcome us to the show.

Tonight, Kevin Owens Vs Roman Reigns.

Mick Foley is in the ring.

Clash of the Champions, the first Raw exclusive PPV will be in 2 weeks, and we will find out if Kevin Owens defends his WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins, or Roman Reigns added.

He talks about last night’s Backlash PPV, we saw the first Smackdown Women’s Champion being crowned, congratulations to Becky Lynch.  But Raw still has the premiere women’s division, and the Women’s Champion is Charlotte.

Last week, Bayley pinned the Women’s Champion, and Charlotte slapped Dana Brooke.  Sasha Banks informs Dan Brooke that Sasha is ready to get her rematch, at Clash of the Champions.

We come back live.

Charlotte tells us someone owes an apology.  Not Mick Foley.  Dana Brooke tells Charlotte that she doesn’t owe an apology.  But Charlotte tells Dana owes Charlotte an apology.

She cost Charlotte the match last week against Bayley, in fact she is talking to the officials about changing the ruling so Dana lost to Bayley, and not Charlotte.  And Dana decided to think for herself, and she tapped out to the Bank Statement, so she needs to apologize, or else lose her spot.

Mick wants to talk about Clash of the Champions, but here comes “The Boss”.

Sasha tells Charlotte she is the face of the WWE Women’s Division, and she is the only legit “Boss” of WWE.  At Clash of the Champions, that Women’s title is coming back home.

Here comes Bayley.

She wants to see Sasha get her revenge, but she beat the Women’s Champion last week, so that title shot, maybe should go to her.

Sasha tells Bayley they have some history at NXT, and she helped her awhile back, but in this women’s division, she has no friends.  Bayley will take a back seat.

Charlotte tells Sasha she doesn’t dictate about who she defends her title with, Mick corrects her and says he does.  But Sasha, she said she had her rematch at Clash of the Champions, but he is having second thoughts.

So, we will decide who Charlotte faces at Clash of the Champions, and Dana suggests Mick we should have another Best of 7 Series with Sasha and Bayley.

Mick tells us it will be Sasha Banks Vs Bayley….

Charlotte degrades Dana again, and Dana slaps Charlotte.

Mick makes this a Triple Threat match, with Dana being added, and the winner faces Charlotte at Clash of the Champions.

That match is next.

Sasha rolls up Bayley after she hit Dana with a Bayley to Belly.

It’s official, Sasha Banks Vs Charlotte, at Clash of the Champions.

Tonight, Match 5 of Best of 7 Series with Cesaro Vs Shamus.  Also tonight, Owens Vs Reigns.  If Reigns wins, he is added to the Universal Title match at Clash of the Champions.

We come back, and see Dana Brooke backstage.  She apologizes to Charlotte, the Women’s Champ doesn’t want to hear it, orders Dana to grab her luggage.

Shining Stars try to sell R-Truth some timeshare in Puerto Rico, but Goldust stops him.

Enzo and Big Cass want to challenge them to a rematch, after they cheated to win last week.  It is on.

Tom Phillips is with WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens.

Owens is not here to give “Terry” any quotes, such as Roman Reigns is never, nor will he be on the same level as Owens, and that the only reason why Mick Foley is stacking the deck against him is because he knows deep down he will never be the same superstar as his mentor HHH.  But he wouldn’t do that, and give Todd the satisfaction.

Chris Jericho shows up and informs us Kevin Owens was going to be Chris’ guest on the Highlight Reel, but Mick Foley nixed that.  So he is going to have Kevin’s ex-friend Sami Zayn on instead, and show the world the real kind of person Sami is.

A stupid id-it.

Bo Dallas is set for a squash, next.

A more serious Bo Dallas will face Brandon Scott, now.

Bo wins with roll the dice.

Bo BO-lieves in Bo.

Highlight Reel is next.

It’s time for the gift of Jericho.

This was supposed to be the greatest Highlight Reel, with a man who is so great Tom Cruise could play him in his movie.  Then again, so could Brad Pitt.  But this is the longest reigning WWE Universal Champion in WWE history, talking about Kevin Owens.  He had to go so high, so how do you change things?  By going lowest to the low, someone who used to be Kevin Owens’ friend, Sami Zayn.

Sami thanks Chris for that glowing introduction.  Jericho says what is he supposed to say?   Ole, Ole, Ole?

Crowd loves that.

But what else is he supposed to say?  Sami used to be Kevin’s best friend, he doesn’t even have his new phone number.  But Chris has it.

Sami wants to know why he is here.

Chris wonders why they aren’t friends anymore.  Owens doesn’t even look at him anymore backstage.  Chris knows it’s not because of Kevin, so maybe it’s because of Sami.

The only thing Sami wants from Kevin is the WWE Universal Championship, and he will get that from him. If Chris truly believes Kevin is Jericho’s best friend, he truly is a stupid idiot.

Jericho gives us all the gift of Jericho, and Sami cuts him off, and he says if he truly thinks Kevin doesn’t think of anything but himself, Chris is delusional.  Where is the real Chris Jericho?

Chris is the reason why Sami got into this business.  Guys like Chris, Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero.  Guys who have paved the way for guys like Sami.  Chris is a 6-time WWE World Champion, he was the first Undisputed World Champion, and now all he sees is Kevin Owens’ bitch.

Chris tells Sami he just had a message from Kevin earlier, and you want to know what he said?

Chris slaps Sami, and gave him the Code Breaker.

Tonight, Reigns Vs Chris Jericho’s best friend, Kevin Owens.

But next, Best of 7 Series, Cesaro Vs Sheamus.

Cesaro Vs Sheamus, with Sheamus leading 3-1 in Best of 7 Series is now.

Cesaro win the match, hooking the ropes.

Sheamus is up 3-2.

Seth Rollins is with Mick Foley.  He is confused about why Mick put Reigns in this match tonight, to give him a chance at the championship at Clash of Champions.

He doesn’t want any distraction for his title match, which is why he doesn’t want Roman in the match.  Maybe we can check with Stephanie.  She is in Singapore.  If this match takes place, maybe we should question Mick’s integrity.

Mick is irate over this, and he says he can say anything he wants about Steph, just don’t question his integrity.

Seth said he never would, but if he continues to believe in Stephanie, a former WWE Champion, former Hardcore legend, it won’t matter, because Mick will be proven a fool.

Jericho Vs Zayn is set for Clash of Champions.

Alicia Fox Vs Nia Jax is up now.

Nia tells Tom she will beat the crap out of Alicia Fox, whether she gives up, or she doesn’t get up.

The match ends in a no contest when Nia speared Alicia through the barricade.  An awesome sighting.  Officials came out to check on Alicia.

We are live in the Royal Farms Arena, in Baltimore, Maryland.

We see what we just saw, Nia Jax speared Alicia Fox through the barricade.

360 days as WWE Tag Team Champions, and counting.

New Day put their Tag Team Titles on the line at Clash of Champions against Gallows and Anderson.

Last week, Gallows and Anderson, the cool guys who are about too seat tried to be entertaining.

That is their thing, and DON’T touch their thing.

We have footage from last week’s Old Day footage.

Sike!!  We won’t make you suffer through that again.

They wasted your time, 5 minutes, and 37 seconds, we could have done a lot of things.

So, in short, they want to apologize for Gallows and Anderson wasting their time, and that won’t happen again, because they are our WWE World Tag Team Champions.

Here comes the “fun” group, Anderson and Gallows.

Really?  They pander to a stupid crowd like Baltimore.  They talks about Booty-O’s, and wear those stupid unicorn heads, and they waste their time?

At Clash of Champions, they will take those stupid unicorn heads and take their Tag Team Champions.

Summerslam Rematch here, with Gallows and Anderson Vs Kofi and Xavier.

Gallows and Anderson win with Magic Killer, in 13 days these teams face off at Clash of Champions.

Tom Phillips approaches Reigns about his thoughts for tonight’s match.

He’s only thinking about getting into the Universal Title match, ad becoming the Universal Champion.

Only way he can do that is kick KO’s ass.

The Cruiserweight Division arrives on Raw next week.

Jinder Mahal is the “Man who comes in peace”.

Jinder hasn’t had the chance to explain why he was gone.  He has had hate for a while, but he has learned to let that all go.  He has been in the Himalayas, he has visited in monasteries.  But he has found peace, and he wants to share it with us.

Jack Swagger is his opponent.

Jinder Mahal with the win, hitting a Neckbreaker.

Enzo and Cass are in action, next.

Tom Phillips wants some thoughts from Jack Swagger.  His Raw contract is expiring soon.

Swagger just breathes hard, and walks away.

His name is Enzo Amore, and he’s a certified G, and a bonafide stud.  And you can’t teach that.

This guy here is Big Cass, and he is 7 feet tall, and you can’t teach that.

Badda bing, they are the realest guys in the room…

Shining Stars, there is only one word to describe you, and he will spell it out for ya.

Shining Stars win, by holding on to the ropes.

Owens Vs Reigns is next.

Owens walks by, and Rollins approaches him.  He gives him advice on beating Roman Reigns.

Owens doesn’t need luck, and he talks about how he thought he wanted Roman in the match, so he can help him.  Seth always has someone do his help, but Seth sneaks in with the win.  Or wait a second, he’s upset because HHH doesn’t back him anymore, because now he realizes there is someone better.

Ever since Seth came back from his injury, he has failed.  He failed to win the title for Raw, and he failed to win the title a few weeks ago.  Yet Owens took one chance to win this.  So Rollins’ new phrase should be Regroup, Rebuild, Fail.

Foley cuts this off, and tells Owens his match is now, and warns Seth if he tries something, there will be consequences.

Owens Vs Reigns is now.

Rollins comes out, and causes the DQ, going after Owens.

An irate Mick Foley tells Rollins he needs to listen to him, and now they will have a talk.  He restarts the match, and here we go.

With Rusev’s help to distract Reigns, Owens wins the match with a Pop-Up Powerbomb.

Clash of Champions is still Rollins Vs Owens.

Rusev is alone with Reigns.

Rusev hits a kick in the head, and ends this with an Accolade.  Lana is looking on admiring this, and we end the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

The show was okay, but you have to love the ending.  Rusev gets the revenge he deserves, with the disrespect Reigns gave Rusev’s wife, Lana.

Clash of Champions is setting up to be a good PPV.  I loved tonight’s Highlight Reel too, and am looking forward to seeing Sami Vs Jericho.

And now with Swagger’s Raw contract expiring, perhaps he is the next guy WWE could rebuild on Smackdown, like they did with Heath Slater?

Share me your thoughts on the show.

Chris apologized for getting Tom’s name wrong.  Sorry Phillip.

He’s talking about chemistry, something you can’t teach.

KO said you can, he had a 96 in chemistry in high school.  But not that chemistry, Jericho and Owens has a bond.  And they will take out the two hometown boys.  Enzo will get home, and see his father is crying, and his mother is wearing a Kevin Owens T-shirt.

We are just 33 minutes away from WWE Summerslam.

Sheamus Vs Cesaro is now.

Sheamus picks up the win with a Brogue Kick.  He takes the lead in the Best of 7 Series to 1-0.

Who is going to win tonight, Brock Lesnar Vs Randy Orton?

Orton Vs Lesnar video is showing.

WWE Summerslam is now.

We are live at the Barclay Center, in Brooklyn.

Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves join us for the show.

Brooklyn’s own Enzo and Cass begin the show.

My name is Enzo Amore, and I am a certified G, and a bona-fide stud, and you can’t teach that.  This guy here is Big Cass.  He is 7 feet tall, and you can’t teach that.

Badda bing, realist cats in the room, how ya doin?

This match is dedicated to all the teachers who told them they’d never make anything of themselves.  Dedicated to the ones tryin’ to make money for the kids, so they can eat food for dinner.  How ya doin’?

This is a dream, and that dream will become a reality.  How ya doin’?

There was once this man named Blue Eyes who sang to New York, saying if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere, how ya doin’?

They are ready for JeriKO.

And Cass tell us there is one word to describe them, and he’ll spell it out for us.

Tag team match is set, Enzo and Cass Vs JeriKO.

JeriKO win the match, when Owens launched Jericho into a Code Breaker.

Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan run into Mick Foley.  And they are greeted by Jon Stewart and his son.  Stephanie McMahon runs into all of them.

New Day interrupt the fun, telling us we all need to use the power of positivity.

Next, Women’s Championship is on the line.  Sasha Banks Vs Charlotte.

Charlotte wins the match, and the title when she rolled Sasha up, and pinned her, even when Sasha had the Bank Statement on Charlotte.

An incredible match here between the two women.  We even saw a Razor’s Edge off the top rope.

Charlotte is now a 2-time Women’s Champion.

A moment with The Club.

Doctor to Doctor to Phenomenal.

And they run into Finn Balor.

Mauro Ranallo, JBL, and David Otunga welcome us to their portion of the show.

The Miz Vs Apollo Crews, for the Intercontinental Championship is now.

The Miz retains his IC Title with a Skull Crushing Finale.

John Cena Vs AJ Styles is up now.

AJ Styles just beat John Cena, clean with a Styles Clash and a Phenomenal Forearm.

What an incredible match, and what a statement.  Styles kicked out of the Super AA, and Cena was beside himself, trying to figure out what to do.  Styles escaped from another AA, and picked up the clean win.

Cena took off his armband, and put it in the middle of the ring, and saluted the crowd.  What a moment.

Footage from the two fans who won the Cricket Wireless WWE sweepstakes.

Oh lord, time for Jon Stewart.  Why?

Jon keeps talking, and nobody cares.

Jon is an honorary member of New Day, taking the place of Big E.

WWE Tag Team Championship match is now.  New Day Vs Gallows and Anderson.

New Day are DQ’d when Big E. comes back, and kicks Anderson and Gallows’ asses.

Big E. takes a swig of the balls jar, and spits it out.

New Day are still Tag Team Champions.

They saved Jon Stewart.

Ziggler Vs Ambrose, for the WWE World Championship is up now.

Ambrose wins the match, retains his title with Dirty Deeds.

A bit of a short match, and the crowd did not seem to care too much.

Footage from WWE Week in New York.

6-Woman tag match is up now.  Naomi, Becky Lynch, and Carmella Vs Natalya, Alexa Bliss, and ???

Nikki Bella.

So she is a heel, again.

Nikki, Nattie, and Alexa win with a Rack Attack.  Nikki pins Carmella.

Still 2 title matches are left, and the big match.  But we see segment from last week on Raw, with Reigns and Rusev.

Maria Menounos interviews Rusev.

He is ticked that Reigns mocked he and his wife Lana’s nuptials, and ruins her wedding dress.  Tonight, he will pay.

But first, for the WWE Universal Championship.  Balor Vs Rollins.

We have “The Demon King” in our presence.

Finn Balor just made history, being the first Universal Champion, hitting Coup De Gras, pinning Seth.

I loved the finish, a slow build, but an incredible ending.  I can’t wait to see the rematch.

We get to hear from the Summerslam panelists.

United States Championship is up now.  Roman Reigns Vs Rusev.

The match is ruled a no contest, when Reigns and Rusev attack each other when the action starts.  But Reigns destroys Rusev with a chair shot, and acts like a heel, with Rusev being the face.

After Rusev gets up in his own power, Reigns comes right back out, and spears Rusev.

If this was designed to be a double turn, it would be awesome.

We will see tomorrow.

Our main event, 15 years in the making…Orton Vs Lesnar is now.

Brock Lesnar won the match by TKO.  Orton hit 2 RKOs, one of them on the announce table, and Lesnar took over from there.  Making Randy bleed, and the referee stopped the match.

Shane came out after the match to check on Randy, and Brock blocked his path, even hitting a F-5 on Shane, and this ended the match.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Overall, a fun night of action.  Surprised to see how the main event ended this way.  Fans were chanting for Goldberg, who didn’t show up.  So this would lead me to guess we will see Brock Vs Shane at Survivor Series?

Styles Vs Cena was amazing, as was Charlotte Vs Sasha.  Balor Vs Rollins was amazing, but Ziggler Vs Ambrose was very disappointing for some reason.

But where do we go from here?  What were your thoughts on the show?  Send them to me, and I will talk to you tomorrow.

WWE Monday Night Raw 8/8/16…F-5 Vs RKO

Tonight, Raw is in Anaheim, California.  Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs will be our guest host.  Mick Foley also extended the invite to Daniel Bryan.

Is Randy Orton lurking?

Raw is now.

Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves welcome us to the show.

Tonight, an in-depth look at Lesnar Vs Orton:  15 Years In the Making.

And Daniel Bryan is here to clear the air.

Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs is in the house.

But we kick the show off with Enzo and Cass.

My name is Enzo Amore, and I am a certified G, and a bonafide stud, and you can’t teach that.

And this right here is Big Cass, and he’s 7 foot tall, and you can’t teach that.

Badda-Boom, realest guys in the room….How ya doin’?

Last week, Enzo came out to Monday Night Raw, as a G.  He was talkin some game to the WWE Women’s Champion, how ya doin’?

She was smitten, he doesn’t practice sanatoria, and he doesn’t have a crystal ball.  He had that in the bag.

Cass said Enzo was like Mike Trout.

And then…Bon Jon Jericho wants to come out like a golden glove, and rob him of his Home Run.

This guy hits him like a codebreaker.  The only code he broke was the man code, wearing a scarf without a shirt on.

He and Cass are on Anaheim Angels on Stairway to Heaven, and Jericho is on the highway to Hell.  So Axl Rose wannabe, you’re going down.

Here comes Jericho, with the scarf, and without the shirt.

Jericho has some news for Enzo Annoying.  The only reason he is still here, is because every time he gets his mouth in trouble, he has the 7 foot maid cleaning up.

But at least Enzo has someone watching his back, but so does Chris.  How ya doin’?

Enter Kevin Owens.

Now, Jericho and Owens are closer, like Canadian brothers.  No matter what he does, Owens has his back.  No matter what he says, Owens has his back.  You have my back, right?

Owens has Jericho’s back, like Burt and Ernie, in the same bathtub?

You think that is funny?  Only a stupid idiot would think that is funny.

Owens used to like Big Cass.  Because he had dead weight, that he would carry on his back, and Owens had dead weight on his back.  But now, Cass took that dead weight with him to Raw, and he has to always hear him vomit spew.  So Owens doesn’t like Cass anymore, and if he doesn’t like him, he will have to hurt him.

Cass shows up, but Owens doesn’t want to hurt him, and Jericho will.

Yeah, Jericho will hurt him.  But Jericho isn’t talking about Cass, he is talking about this guy with the mitten head.  Enzo is going to get it.

Enzo Vs Jericho is next.

Enzo is DQ’d when Big Cass comes to the ring, and hits the big boot on Jericho.  Owens just kept interfering, and Cass had it.

Big Cass challenges Owens and Jericho to a tag team match, at Summerslam.

They agree, and Cass tells us at Summerslam, there is only one word to describe them…..

Rusev is now married to Lana.  Tonight, they celebrate their marriage to us, live.

Mick Foley is on the phone, and he says they need to nip this Orton-Lesnar thing in the bud.  He is talking to Stephanie, who I guess has the night off.

“The Boss” enters the room.

Sasha Banks offers a Handicap match at Summerslam, with Charlotte and Dana Brooke.

Foley thinks that is a bad idea.  So he has a better idea.  If he puts Dana in a match with Sasha tonight, and she beats Dana.  Brooke is banned from ringside at Summerslam.  But if Dana wins, she is added in the Handicap match.

Ben-Hur is going to be terrible, and yet WWE is promoting it.

Braun Strowman screams to the ring, ready to squash his opponent.

Braun’s opponent is Jorel Nelson.  What possessed him to take this match?

He doesn’t have an answer, but he does get his entrance music.

Reverse Chokeslam, match is over.

Foley tries to use his laptap.  He runs into Puff Daddy.

Puff is coming to Columbus, Ohio on August 25th.

New Day show up.

Puff Daddy is producing the soundtrack to WWE2K17.

Big E. is at home, his balls are hurting.

Puff Daddy is going to talk to Big E., and give him some love.

Darren Young Vs Titus O’ Neil is now.

Darren won, using the tights.

At Summerslam, it will be Rollins Vs Balor, winner becomes the first Universal Champion.

Seth will speak, next.

Seth comes out, and he thought of Finn Balor as Jared Leto, to Seth’s Heath Ledger.  But after last week, he decided to rethink about his feelings about the man.

Last Monday, we see their face-to-face moment.

He’s athletic, we knew that.  He is agile, we knew that.  He is a potent striker, as any normal man would be still down on the ground, but he isn’t just a normal man.  But we know about Seth Rollins.  He wants to know the real Finn Balor.

Finn Balor isn’t even his real name.  Finn means famous warrior, and Balor means Demon King.

Will we see “The Demon” at Summerslam?

He wants to know who the real Finn Balor is, and the more he sees of him, the less he likes him.  This is Seth’s show, this is his ring.  And Finn got right into his face, how disrespectful is that?  How arrogant is that?  He told Seth he was going to beat him at Summerslam.  Finn has had 2 matches on Raw.  Grant it, they both were no joke, but they aren’t Seth Rollins.

Then Finn disrespected Rollins, by saying everything was handed to him?  Handed to him?  He worked too hard to get back into this game.  Seth knows his place, at the very top.

He doesn’t need smoke and mirrors to say who he is.  Seth knows who he is.  Seth is the myth, he is the legend….Seth is THE MAN!!

And in 200 years, people will talk about the legend of Seth Rollins.  How he sleigh the beast, or how he took out the face that runs this place.  Or how he conquered The Roman Empire, because that is what Seth did.  And how he will become the first Universal Champion.

That is what Seth Rollins is.

In 2 weeks, Rollins Vs Balor for the Universal Championship.

We will also see for the first time ever, Lesnar Vs Orton on PPV.

We see footage from last week, when Orton hit a RKO from anywhere on Lesnar.

Lesnar Vs Orton:  15 years in the making, we will see tonight.  Also, Daniel Bryan will be here tonight, to clear the air.

Sheamus Vs Cesaro is now.

Cesaro wins with a rolling of the tights.

After the match, we see what happened at Smackdown, when Brock returned the receipt from Orton.

And next, 15 years in the making, Orton Vs Lesnar video.

Lesnar Vs Orton is in 2 weeks, and Brock will be live, next week.

Daniel Bryan is here tonight, to clear the air with Mick Foley.

We have The Dudley Boyz Vs Neville and a mystery partner, next.

The mystery partner is Sin Cara.

Red Arrow, Neville and Sin Cara win.

Rusev and Lana are up next, celebrating their love.

Daniel Bryan arrives in the building.

It’s time for a celebration of love.

Lana in her wedding dress, Rusev wearing white, it’s a joyous occasion.

Lana is Rusev’s princess, and you have to give them what they want.

The fans don’t care, and Lana told us we weren’t a part of it, because it’s VIP only.

But we will re-live, and re-enact their special day with us.

This is a chance for all of us to experience true love.

We see the pictures, complete with music.

We get more talking, fans are booing, and here comes Roman Reigns, to some cheers?

Reigns isn’t here to ruin this, he was watching the video in the back.  He realized Rusev didn’t even have a best man.  So Reigns is stepping up to be Rusev’s best man.

How about he pour a couple of drinks, and toast the happy couple.

Rusev doesn’t need his stupid toast.

So how about accepting Reign’s challenge for the United States Title, at Summerslam.

He can’t accept the challenge.

Then, the toast needs to happen.

Here is a toast, he has never seen a Bulgarian swashsquash.  And a mail order bride.

That came out the wrong way, Reigns expected more, like his wife expected more on their wedding night.

Them are fighting words.

Reigns decks Rusev, Rusev runs into Lana, and into the wedding cake goes Lana.

Reigns didn’t mean it, and down goes the cake.

Sasha Banks Vs Dan Brooke is next.

Moments ago, we see what we just saw….Lana getting doused with wedding cake.

In the back, Rusev insists Reigns must pay for what happened.  Foley tells Rusev he can work on his frustration on Reigns, in a match at Summerslam, for the United States Title.

Sasha Banks Vs Dana Brooke is now.

Sasha wins the match with a Double Foot Stomp, after Charlotte is knocked off the apron.

It’s Charlotte Vs Sasha Banks, one on one at Summerslam.  Dana Brooke is banned at ringside.

Nia Jaz is here, a video showcasing her.

Next, we hear about Finn Balor.

Who is Finn Balor?  He knows who Seth Rollins is, and Finn tells us through a video.

“The Demon” is coming.

Dr. Anderson and Dr. Gallows explain to us to avoid ringpostitis.  It can be painful to your nuts.  Kofi Kingston is fixing to find out, tonight.

It’s going to be Kofi Kingston Vs Luke Gallows.

Gallows wins the match.  They tried to set up Kofi with ringpostitis, but Xavier helps his friend.

Speaking of friend, earlier today, Golden Truth meets up with Scooby-Doo.  I think Truth had a bit of “Scooby Snacks” himself, because he didn’t want the flies in The Mystery Machine.

Mick Foley is coming to the ring, next.

Foley comes out to introduce, in show of great sportsmanship, the Smackdown General Manager, Daniel Bryan.

Daniel congratulates Mick on doing a great job running Monday Night Raw.  Foley is complimenting Daniel on his job.

Daniel plugs Smackdown Live, and Foley doesn’t want to hear about that.  What Brock Lesnar did at Smackdown last week was a bit harsh, and Mick is deeply sorry.  Daniel tells Mick they started it with Orton coming out to give Brock a RKO.

Now comes talk about the Universal Championship.  Bryan on “Talking Smack” made fun of the title name, and Mick tells Daniel the Universal Title will be an important championship.

Here comes Rusev, he is the champion, Raw does not need another championship.  Then he and Daniel get into it.

But Cesaro interrupts the fun.  He tells Foley last week, Mick said if Cesaro won, he would get a title shot.  Foley disagrees with this, and says Sheamus almost had him.  Cesaro thought Foley was a man of his word.  Daniel tells Cesaro he believes he has been underutilized on Raw.

Foley gives us the title match, Cesaro Vs Rusev, now.

Next week, “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar will be here.  Also next week, Seth Rollins will call out “The Demon King”.

Cesaro Vs Rusev, for the United States Championship is now.

Rusev wins the match, when Sheamus comes out, and we get a ref bump, many close pin falls, but at the end, Cesaro was kicked in the head too many times.

Cesaro was pinned.

Rusev celebrates, but is greeted by a Reigns spear, to end the show.

Roman also gave us the peace out sign, which was funny.

The show ends here, with Dean Ambrose being a guest of the Stone Cold Podcast.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

I loved the importance they gave the United States Championship tonight, and really, right now, this is the biggest Raw title.  So why not showcase it?

But unfortunately, this was another bad show by Raw.  I don’t get it, 3 weeks ago, we had one of the best shows of all-time, they showcased the superstars.  Smackdown has a chance to take another step forward this week.

Not even Mick Foley and Daniel Bryan could save it.  I did love the videos hyping up the big matches, but other than that, just a blah show.

Do you agree?  Leave me a word here.

The Golden Truth picks up their first win together, when Goldust hit The Final Cut, pinning Fandango.

Later tonight, we will see The Lucha Dragons vs The Dudley Boyz.

Zayn sees Cesaro.  They get on the same page, may the best man win.

MITB Ladder Match is later tonight.

Video is now showing.

Who becomes Money in the Bank winner?  Cesaro?  Zayn?  Owens?  Jericho?  Del Rio?  Ambrose?

Roman Reigns entered the building earlier tonight.

Tom Phillips is with Becky Lynch and Natalya.

These two love each other.  Becky loved Dynamite Kid, Bret Hart, and Mick Foley.

Natalya loves Bret, Shawn Michales, and “Macho Man” Randy Savage.

Lucha Dragons Vs Dudley Boyz is now.

Lucha Dragons pick up the upset win over The Dudley Boyz.

Rollins Vs Reigns video is playing now.

Money in the Bank starts, now.

We are live in Vegas, baby.  Michael Cole, JBL, and Byron Saxton welcome us to the show.

We kick the night off with Fatal 4-Way for the Tag Team Titles.

Enzo and Cass Vs Gallows and Anderson Vs The Vaudevillains Vs New Day.

How Ya Doin?

New Day retains the titles, when Kofi and Big E. hit a double team move, and Big E. pins Gotch.

Tom Phillips is with Kevin Owens.  He tries to explain the significance  of Money in the Bank, but is interrupted by Jericho and Del Rio.

This is hilarious, Owens tells them both they say the same things over and over, while he switches things up.

You all want the gift of Jericho, so drink it in, you stupid idiots.

Corbin Vs Ziggler is now.

Corbin wins a good match with End of Days.

Seth Rollins is taping his wrists, and mentally preparing for tonight’s World Title match.

Charlotte and Dana Brooke Vs Natalya and Becky Lynch.

Charlotte and Dana defeated Becky and Natalya, when Dana rammed Becky and Nattie’s heads together, and Charlotte hits Natural Selection for the win.

After the match, Nattie attacks Becky, and turns heel.

Tom Phillips is interviewing Dean Ambrose.

Dean confirms there is no strategy in tonight’s match.  The leader of the jungle is what everything is about.  And the pain they go through will be worth winning MITB Ladder Match.

Does Dean have a preference in who wins WWE World Title match?

Not really, Reigns will have fun beating up on Rollins.  He’s done it before.

Sheamus Vs Crews is now.

Apollo picks up the win, after kicking out on White Noise, and rolling up Sheamus for the pin fall.

Nobody cares about this match though.

The Champ is preparing himself for the big main event match.

WWE Battleground is set for Sunday, July 24th.

The dream match is next, AJ Styles Vs John Cena.

AJ Styles defeated John Cena, when a ref was knocked down, The Club came out and hit Magic Killer on Cena, rolled AJ over for the pin.

Our next match is Money in the Bank match.  Who becomes Mr. Money in the Bank?

Chris Jericho Vs Sami Zayn Vs Cesaro Vs Dean Ambrose Vs Alberto Del Rio Vs Kevin Owens.

Ambrose wins the match, and he is now Mr. Money in the Bank.

Another fantastic match here.

The Kick-off panelists are talking.

Golden Truth won their first tag match together.

Rusev Vs Titus is up now, for the United States Championship.

Rusev crush, hits the Accolade, and retains his United States Championship.

Waiting for the main event now.

Rusev goes to Titus’ kids, and says their father is a loser.  Happy Father’s Day!!

Reigns Vs Rollins, for the WWE World Title is up now.

Seth Rollins wins the WWE World Title clean, with a Pedigree.

Excellent match between these two.

But wait….

Here comes Ambrose.

After he nails Rollins with his briefcase, it’s official.

Dirty Deeds….

The Ambrose Era has begun.

The show ends with Ambrose celebrating.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

The three big matches were fantastic, including the main event.  The Shield is one of those factions that truly formed a bond.  And having all 3 win the big title means something.

I don’t understand Natalya going after Becky, and why Becky continues to let that stuff happen.  She needs to go back to being “The Lass Kicker” and less cartoon character.

When was the last time Cena lost clean?  A year ago at MITB?  Reigns clearly put Rollins over, and the ending gives you a preview of what is to come for The Shield Summer.

A big shout-out to the Cleveland Cavaliers winning the NBA Title.  Such an amazing night, and to see any Cleveland team win a championship for the first time in 52 years is historic.

Also, this past week has been tough, I lost my Grandmother on Tuesday morning, when she passed away in her sleep.  She would have loved to see this, but somehow I believe she is.

What were your thoughts on the show?  Send them to me.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/30/16…John Cena Returns

Before we start the show, I want to thank the men and women who have served for our country, in the past and present.  Never forget the ones who have sacrificed to protect us.

Tonight’s Raw should be big, not only are we going to have the return of John Cena, but we also will see something “hatch” apparently.

Raw is now.

Lilian Garcia kicks the show off by giving us the 10 bell salute, for men and women who have defended our honor.

Awesome video to remind us about the ones we have lost, and to always honor the men and women, in uniform.

Tonight is the night as we get the opening theme.

We are live in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  Michael Cole, JBL, and Byron Saxton welcome us to the show.

And before Shane says anything, here comes Stephanie.

It’s a McMahon Family Reunion here.

Stephanie tells Shane let’s get this started.

Steph talks, and nobody wants to listen.

What’s up Green Bay!!

Shane tells us it’s time to shake things up.  Smackdown is going live on Tuesday July 19th, on USA Network.  It’s coming to Tuesday nights.

Steph tells us that is Smackdown, but this is Raw.  Tonight, we will see the return of John Cena.

It’s a New Day, yes it is.

New Day is excited about the move to Smackdown, live.  But as excited as they were, excitement turned to paranoia.

Social Media write-ups about brand extension.

Shane tell us there will be a unique roster for Raw and Smackdown.

The New Day is about the new era.  Kofi is new era through and through.

But Big E and Xavier are poking fun at that.

But the question everyone want to know is where are The New Day going?

Stephanie informs them they haven’t decided yet.  But New Day are accusing her of dodging the question.

You can’t possibly think about breaking up The New Day.  They are your WWE Tag Team Champions.

Shane tells them there is anything not on the table.

Hold on, there is a chance they will break up The New Day?  This can’t happen, think of the kids.  And Francesca II.  She can’t handle to be away from all 3 of her parents.

Stephanie tells them things haven’t been discussed yet.

But who runs Raw?

Steph assures them everything will work out.  But there seems to be a bit of a sibling rivalry.  But here is what they do to solve things….a dance challenge.

And now we will have our dance challenge.

Shane gives us his best dance.

Now it’s Stephanie’s turn.

She is about to dance, but here comes The Vaudevillains to ruin things.

The Vaudevillains Vs The New Day in a non-title match, next.

Gallows and Anderson attack The new Day, so Vaudevillains are DQ’d.  They come into the ring, but Vaudevillains tell them to have at it, and they nail Big E with Magic Killer.

Gallows and Anderson made a statement.

Renee Young is with Anderson and Gallows.  Gallows tell us this was a message to say they aren’t going anywhere.  Anderson reiterates they are just getting started.

We see footage from last Monday when Sheamus attacks Apollo Crews.

Apollo is doing push-ups, and someone approaches him.  It’s Big Show.  He assures Apollo he’s not here to hurt him.  Apollo wants to take out Sheamus, so Big Show tries to give him some advice.

Sheamus is afraid to lose his spot.  Sheamus feels Apollo will back down.  So the question is will Apollo back down?

Golden Truth come out together.

The Usos will compete against Breezango.

The Golden Truth are doing commentary.

The Usos win in a pointless match.

Breezango blame The Golden Truth, now all four men start to fight.

We need Gallows and Anderson to come out, and beat the shit out of all four men here.

8 days ago, Seth Rollins made his return.  In 3 weeks, it will be Rollins Vs Reigns, at Money in the Bank.

We will hear from the WWE World Champion, next.

The crowd is mixed here, yet again for Roman.

2 years ago, Seth Rollins sold out, and broke up The Shield.

Ever since then, he has called himself THE man.  But that is funny since he runs away from THE guy every single time, and he has the title to prove he is THE guy.

So if you want to prove you are THE man, come on out, and prove it.

Here comes Seth Rollins, running to the ring, but he thinks twice about it.

Seth has the mic, thinks about saying something, but he decides not to.

Now he is charging to the ring, and again stops.  Laughing at Roman, it will be on his time.  Not Roman’s.

Seth walks away again.

Drops the mic again, and walks away.

3 weeks, we see these two men face off.

Seth charges again, but Roman is ready for him.  Seth screams they do things his way.

John Cena is here tonight.

6-man tag match of all 6 men involved in Money in the Bank ladder match.

Goldberg is a part of the new WWE2K17 game.

Lana is here to introduce us to a “Real American Hero”, and the greatest United States Champion, Rusev.

Rusev Vs Zack Ryder is now.

Rusev wins the match with an Accolade.

Rusev calls himself a better American Hero than any of us.  And here comes Titus O’ Neil.

Titus dares Rusev saying this, on this day….Memorial Day.  Great Americans fight for what they believe in.  He isn’t a Bulgarian brute, he is a Bulgarian chump.  So if he wants to fight, let’s fight.

Titus decks Rusev, and Rusev gets out of the ring.

Next, we see footage from last week, when Charlotte threw her father out of her ring.

The announcers are beside themselves over Charlotte’s actions.

Earlier today, Stephanie catches up with Charlotte.  She is embarrassed with what Charlotte did last week.  Charlotte isn’t stepping down with her, while Steph calls her a waste of talent.

Tonight, Natalya Vs Dana Brooke, one on one.

Another commercial break.

Enzo and Big Cass come out to the ring.

My name is Enzo Amore.  I am a certified G, and a bona-fide stud, and you can’t teach that.  And this man is Big Cass, he’s 7 feet tall, and you can’t teach that.

Bada Boom, the realest guys in room, how ya doin??

They want some of the Dudleys.

How ya doin?

The Dudley Boyz Vs Enzo and Cass is now.

Enzo and Cass win the match with a Rocket Launcher, pinning Bubba.

Zayn, Ambrose, and Cesaro are talking about strategy.

John Cena returns, next.

The Champ is here.

Cena is very grateful to be back home.  But on this day, it is his duty to honor the heroes who have fallen, and protected our country.

Liberty is freedom, and freedom is our livelihood.  It gives us the honor to cheer for who we want, stand up for what we believe in, dress how we want, and act how we want.  And it is a privilege to say Cena is back on Monday Night Raw.

But this means if he still belongs.  A new era has begun, which means new names, new faces.  So the question is can he still hang with them?  He won’t just roll over, and go away.  Cena will not go quietly away.  And the face that runs this place says this, if the future is now, then the future must go through him.

Enter AJ Styles.

The crowd is half for AJ, and half for Cena.

It is a cool moment here.

AJ has been waiting for this moment his entire life.

AJ said Cena has sort of bad rep, he has been told Cena is always the first into the arena, and the last to leave.  And he has done so much for this company, but here is the thing.  They have been in two different worlds, but here they stand in this ring together.  AJ wanted to be the first to say welcome back.

Cena is hesitant about shaking hands with AJ, but he does.

But here comes Anderson and Gallows.

AJ, as Gallows says, they agreed to go their separate ways.  And he saw what they did to The New Day.  But AJ is sucking up to Cena.

Anderson said they are not here to kiss ass, they are here to kick it.  And that includes AJ.

AJ takes his shirt off, and so does Cena, but AJ turns on Cena, and he is a part of The Club all along.

The Club unites together.

AJ wants him some more, with Gallows and Anderson approve.

Moments ago, we see AJ turn his back on John Cena and laid him out.

Natalya Vs Dana Brooke, now.

Charlotte comes out with Dana.

Dana wins a 3 minute match with a Minshinuko Driver.

They now attack Natalya, and here comes Becky Lynch.

Jo-Jo is with Dolph Ziggler.

We see footage of his match with Baron Corbin at Extreme Rules Kick-Off match.

Ziggler said that Corbin got the best of him, but not the best in him.  When he was a kid, he got into amateur wrestler, and he broke records at Kent State Universe.  Dean Malenko had 1,004 moves, Ziggler has 1,005 moves.  Dolph is the one who steals the show, because he is Dolph Ziggler, and Corbin is not.

Ziggler vs Corbin is next.

We have an amateur wrestling match, but Ziggler kicks Corbin in the balls, causing a DQ.

Ziggler tells us he is DQ’d, and the loser always is Baron Corbin.

6-man tag match is our main event.

The Miz is currently on location, filming The Marine 5:  Battleground, and he will give us updates throughout the weeks.

Jericho, Del Rio, and Owens are talking about who the leader of the match is.

This Thursday night, we will see Charlotte face Becky Lynch.  We will also hear from The Club, this Thursday night on Smackdown.

6-man tag match is now.

Ambrose, Zayn, and Cesaro win when Ambrose pins Owens with Dirty Deeds.

The show ends rather quickly here.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Not much here tonight, except seeing Cena back in the WWE, and AJ aligning himself with The Club, setting up a feud against Cena, which makes everyone happy.

Other than that, I hope you had a safe Memorial Day.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/23/16….The Architect Comes Home

Tonight, after a good Extreme Rules, we see the return of Seth Rollins, who Pedigreed Roman Reigns after a grueling battle with AJ Styles.

The Architect is back.

We are live in Baltimore, Maryland, with Michael Cole, JBL, and Byron Saxton welcoming us to the show.

Seth Rollins returns, to kick the show off.

The fans love seeing Seth Rollins back.  Seth acknowledges this, and reminds us how weird this is the fans love him.  Because such a short amount of time, Seth destroyed The Shield, with a chair shot to the back of Roman Reigns, and the fans hated him.  Then, at Wrestlemania 31, Seth cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase, and became the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and the fans hated him for taking Roman’s spotlight.

But then again, a ruptured ACL can do that.  He has been on the shelf for 7 months, he received many letters, many tweets, even flowers, wishing him to come back strong.  And what did he do?  He tore every single one of those letters, because he doesn’t need the fans.  He can do this on his own, and he tells us he was never beaten for the WWE World Heavyweight Title, and when he gets his rematch, he will be WWE World Heavyweight Champion, again.

Here comes Roman Reigns, and he doesn’t say anything.  He wants a fight, and Rollins walks away, saying he will do it at his time.

Which is brilliant.

Here comes Shane O’ Mac.

What’s up Baltimore!!

Shane reminds us that Seth did take out Reigns with a chair, to end The Shield.  He also told us that Rollins took Reigns’ moment with Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 31.  And last night, Rollins Pedigreed Roman Reigns, so he has every right to want to go after Rollins.

But then again, Seth is right too, he never lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, so he wants a piece of Roman.

So, at Money in the Bank, we will get to see Reigns Vs Rollins, for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Money in the Bank is quickly becoming one of my favorite PPVs, and this is shaping up to be a good one.

Tonight, we will have Money in the Bank Qualifying Matches.

The Miz vs Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler Vs Dean Ambrose, Chris Jericho Vs Apollo Crews, and AJ Styles Vs Kevin Owens.

But next, it will be Sami Zayn Vs Dolph Ziggler.

All of this, tonight on Raw.

Renee Young is with Sheamus when we come back.

Last year, Sheamus qualified, and won Money in the Bank.  But tonight, he will be qualifying against Sami Zayn.

Sheamus tells us Sami Zayn wears a stupid hat, and he isn’t even in this country.  Renee tries to tell Sheamus he isn’t either, but Sheamus warns us that parents need to get their kids to leave the room, because what he is about to do to Sami, isn’t suitable for all ages.

Zayn Vs Sheamus is now.

Zayn picks up the win with a Helluva Kick.  The biggest win in Sami Zayn’s WWE career.

He qualifies for Money in the Bank match.

The crowd is taunting Sheamus right now, and he is beside himself.

Tonight, we get The State of the Women’s Championship, with Charlotte.

Renee Young interviews Apollo Crews, but Sheamus attacks him.

Sheamus is mad that Apollo is a part of the new era.  Nobody is here to replace Sheamus.

We have a cake, someone has a birthday.

As of last night at Extreme Rules, The New Day is still your WWE World Tag Team Champions!!

But this cake isn’t here to celebrate their victory.  It is here because Raw has been going strong for 2,400 episodes.  So, Happy Birthday Raw!!

Wait a second, Big E tell us that a WWE ring is never safe with a cake.  So, Big E will take care of the cake.

Nobody is safe from the cake, not even Byron Saxton.

But Social Outcasts came out, minus Adam Rose.  We have our 6-man tag match now.

New Day wins, and Heath Slater is fed to the cake.

The Miz Vs Cesaro, MITB qualifying is next.

After The Miz tell us how awesome he is, we have our match.

Cesaro wins the match with a Neutralizer, advancing to Money in the Bank Ladder match.

Earlier tonight, Shane McMahon sets up Reigns Vs Rollins for the WWE World Title, at Money in the Bank.

Renee Young is with Seth Rollins.

Money in the Bank is Seth’s thing.  He won it a couple of years ago, he cashed it at Wrestlemania 31.  He is that good.

Seth runs into Stephanie McMahon.  She tells Seth things have changed around here, including their professional relationship.  So she shakes Seth’s hand.

Jericho Vs Crews is now.

Jericho advances, with a Codebreaker.

Sheamus is watching backstage, Renee wants to get his point of view.  Sheamus was not impressed.

Owens Vs Styles, later tonight in a MITB qualifying match.

We need to make Darren Young great again campaign.

Jo-Jo is with Baron Corbin.

Baron tells us if any of us have a problem with how he beat Ziggler, deal with it.

Ziggler issues a challenge to Corbin, and he accepts.  It’s going to happen next week, but take notes while he has a technical wrestling match against Dean Ambrose.

Big Cass is here, with the returning Enzo Amore.

How Ya Doing?

The doctors diagnosed him with a concussion.

They want a piece of The Dudley Boyz.

There is only word to describe them, and he will spell it out for ya.

It’s Bubba Ray Vs Big Cass, next.

Big Cass has the win, with an elbow.

Charlotte is out with her dad, and Dana Brooke, to tell us how proud he is of his daughter.

Charlotte tells us she is only proud of one person, herself.  She thanks Dana for joining forces with them, and Dana tells us she loves being with the Dirtiest Player in the Game.

And that brings us to Charlotte.  She brings up how every year Flair would miss Thanksgiving and Christmas, or birthdays.  But Charlotte understands now.  He was “The Man”, but now she is the Women’s Champion, which means she is “The Woman”.  She has never been more confident, and more ready.  Which is why she can tell Flair to get out of her ring.

Flair is confused by this, but Charlotte makes it clear, Ric is immortal to these fans, but he is dead to her.  All of the times he has never been there for her, she doesn’t need him now.  So get out of my ring, before she does something she regrets.

Flair is crying now, and Charlotte is making fun of him, but he slowly leaves, and we end the segment here.

Ambrose picks up the win with Dirty Deeds, pinning Ziggler.

Flair starts to say goodbye to everyone, while Renee gets a word from him.

Flair has nothing to say for now.

Styles Vs Owens is next.

The Colons want us to go to Puerto Rico, whatever.

Money in the Bank Qualifying match, our main event.  Styles vs Owens.

The crowd loves AJ Styles.

You never know how good someone is until you get in the ring with them.  He can say honestly, Roman Reigns is every man he says he is.  He is one of the best in the ring he has faced.  But he isn’t phenomenal.  Because if it wasn’t for The Usos, Gallows, and Anderson, he would be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

But what’s gone is gone.  Tonight, he has a chance to go on to Money in the Bank Ladder match, he will face Kevin Owens.

Gallows and Anderson come out, and they are offended that he blames them.  AJ tells them he never wanted them in his business.  This isn’t Japan, things have changed.

Anderson tells AJ things have changed.  AJ has changed.

Gallows tells AJ he doesn’t think AJ would make it out of a bar fight without their help.  He also doesn’t think he’d make it the main event at Extreme Rules.

AJ tells them that he got them here in WWE to build a legacy.  They can do their own thing.  But for now, they can stay brothers.

Gallows doesn’t like that idea, and Anderson said they aren’t brothers anymore.

AJ agrees, and says to get out of his ring.

Styles Vs Owens is next.

John Cena returns to Raw next week.

Also on Smackdown this Thursday night.  Cesaro Vs The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship, and rematch from Extreme Rules, Kalisto vs Rusev for United States Title.

Owens Vs Styles, now.

Kevin Owens wins clean, with a Pop-Up Powerbomb.

Jericho, Ambrose, Owens, Cesaro, and Zayn are qualified with 2 spots to be filled.

The show ends here.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

A good show tonight, that gave us focus on Money in the Bank Qualifying matches, and we now know our main event.  I can’t wait to see Rollins Vs Reigns.

I’m curious too to see who John Cena faces, will he team with AJ Vs Anderson and Gallows?

What were your thoughts of the show?  Send them to me here.
